My sister and mother went to buy coffee and bagels and donuts as they waited the female staffed worker had asked my sister if the three coffees were hers she said yes just waiting on one more and the food. The lady looked at the receipt and said it only shows three coffees and my sister told her it's four and we're waiting on the food this went on for a bit till one of the guys showed the lady the other receipt with the food and other coffee. If you are at Cache Creek this is probably one of the only places open 24 hours to get any type of food. I enjoy it because I like to get ice cream, coffee, desserts, or pastries but what's unfortunate is that it's the only place open. Service is pretty fast and there is social distancing in line. I like ice cream but I'm not too impressed with it, it's a good pick me up when you're out there but it's no gourmet or not even comparable to your regular ice cream spots. It's a little creamy but doesn't have pieces of fruit or chocolate within it and it's a little pricey. They have a wide variety of coffee, desserts, and pastries to choose from. Good variety of sweets and beverage options. A bit expensive and some of the desserts may not be the freshest but I keep coming back. Donuts, ice cream, cakes, coffee, smoothies and so much more. I like their coffee and ice cream the best. Expect to pay a dollar extra for the price of plain coffee but to me totally worth is as its strong and delicious. Their ice cream is also very good. I think its special small batch stuff. The donuts and cakes and fruit cups - be careful - maybe examine carefully through the glass and use your judgement. If its 11pm expect the donut to be a day old. Sometimes I don't really care and get it anyway... just don't have high expectations. I think if I managed this establishment I would compromise some quality and variety to get items with better shelf lives. Old Fashioned donuts for example age really well through the second day. The line to wait can sometimes be long and it is formed in a strange and awkward way perpendicular to the counter which causes a needless nuisance. The line should be formed parallel with the counter extending to the taco shop. It would have the added benefit of forcing people past all the delicious temptations to increase sales. Snake the line with a velvet rope back again and then have the overflow go into the walkway as it is now. The only negative aspect is the removal of two tables. I keep coming back to this place. It was good to find a walk-up service café in the Casino. When I have a sudden urge to fill and not a lot of time to spend away from the tables, I walk up to the display case to see what I can find. Most people seem to come here for a quick non-alcoholic beverage, cold or hot, sweet or not. Cake looks good, even in the morning. I've done it. I don't know what the big deal is. Personally, I find the sweets here go very well with mood I'm in at Cache Creek. If I arrive on a bus, and I'm feeling lucky, or not, I can get cake in the morning. This place in general (Cache Creek Casino) is stinky. The stench overflowed to the cafe. Smells like someone farted. I've been going to this cafe for such a long time. My family has been going to Cache Creek for years now and when I was teenager I would sit here and wait for them to finish gambling since I wasn't allowed on the gaming floor. I've tried most of their cakes, cookies, and ice cream and honestly it's not that good. It's not terrible though but if you're bored at CC waiting for someone it kills time to eat here. They even sell halo halo here. When I came to CC today with my parents my mom and I got a latte and tea here while we were waiting for my dad. Prices are reasonable it's $2.75 for a hot caramel latte.The lady at the register was friendly.
