Service was under par as servers did the very minimum. We were eating an appetizer and when the food was finished, our next nigiri plate came and instead of taking the empty plate away, the server stacked the new plate on top of the old plate. Our hamachi Kama also came out cold and the servers said they had a party but did not inform us earlier. We had no other options to eat. Maybe consider room service next time! read more

Good: the lady that greeted us got us in a little earlier than our reservation--appreciated. I had a poke bowl. It was good. Prices are reasonable. Bad--iced tea with no ice. I went back after two years despite saying in my review I would not be back. I didn't order any sushi though this time just their ramen as I really was craving ramen. I order mild for the spice- next time will order no spice as this mild ramen =spicy level fire. I was crying it was so spicy. It is hard to judge the broth given all I tasted was the spicy red pepper flakes. However the hard boiled egg was delicious and the meat was tender, and the ramen noodles were perfectly cooked. Overall for the price the quantity is what I would expect and is comparable in price to other ramen places locally. FYI the seaweed salad is very good. read more

A few weeks ago, we had dinner at Enso Sushi (at Cash Creek). While there were only a handful of people in the restaurant, we had to wait over an hour to be seated ....... due to a lack of staff. Once we could enter, we found the atmosphere pleasant and the waitstaff friendly and helpful. The menu was interesting which made it hard to decide on what to enjoy (but of course, we figured it out). Ultimately, we opted for Sunomono, a Teriyaki Bowl, Hamachi and the Baccarat Roll. The cucumber salad was my least favorite ... lacked flavor. Well-presented and generous portion. The Yellow tail was delicious ...... fresh and flavorful. Nice plump pieces of fish. The Baccarat Roll included spicy tuna, avocado, and a crab mixed topped with raw fish, tobiko and seaweed wakame. This was pretty good and had a nice consistency. My lady ordered the Teriyaki Bowl with broccoli over rice, sauce and beef. She enjoyed. We will return. read more

Really great ambiance and setting. The place isn't too big so it can get full quickly on a busy day. Stopped here for lunch and tried the ramen. Overall good dish. The texture is the noodle is perfect, egg really shines here, the pork and broth are flavorful. The only downside is that the noodles came with a good portion of parsley which really threw off the flavor. The seaweed is also good but only came in a few strands, would've liked to get at least a whole piece but that's just my preference. This dish is priced reasonably. read more

I've been to C2 a number of times at Cache Creek and pass this sushi restaurant. Both my sons have birthdays in March. I thought it would be a nice treat to take them to Enso for dinner. When I called to make a dinner reservation, the woman who answered told me I had to make the reservation in person. I told her it's inconvenient since we live in Vallejo. She then put me on hold. When she returned, she told me to call back the day before. They need a lesson in customer service! In short, don't bother dealing with these type of people. It's obvious that if you have a problem with your meal, they won't make any efforts to resolve it. For a sushi place in Cache Creek I would say this is pretty good for the area, price, dining, and location. Located within their new South Tower. I wanted to eat a little something at the bar so I was able to walk in and be seated by myself on a Thursday afternoon around 5pm. Everyone else had to wait a little. It's a small area so there is usually a wait, I'm not too sure if they take reservations or not. I was seated and greeted by a very friendly worker. I got an asahi and just wanted one roll, I can't recall if I ordered edamame or not. I asked what the most popular is and I think it was Baccarat, Winning 88, Capay Rainbow roll. I thought she gave me something else when I saw my receipt but whatever I got it was pretty good. The fish tasted pretty fresh, the rolls were made well, and the rice was not hard or dry. I remember I was sitting next to a usual customer and he usually has the waitress order his sashimi and that day they were out, maybe it was habachi? But I'd recommend giving it a shot especially if you don't see it busy. read more
