Good service and better than average chinese good. Chicken lettuce wraps were fresh and tasty. Hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were good especially with the fried wonton noodles you can put in. Beef chow fun dish was good. Never had the noodle so tender before. Thai red curry was good but too spicy for me. My boyfriend loved it. The drink for two... lava punch is strong. Be careful. So good though read more

I went there today after my let down with the Ethiopian place that is next to them. And how glad I am how it all worked out. This place is AMAZING. The 2 lady's that worked today were outstanding and got me all my food and then some, I ordered sesame chicken and broccoli beef and did try their steamed dumplings. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and was well seasoned, not bland at all. When I got my food she said she put a little extra in there and when I got home I found soup that I didn't order and let me tell you I am not a fan of soup but I could not stop eating it was just THAT good. I will definitely be back, maybe next time I will try and dine in. Highly recommend read more

We stopped in here for dinner one evening after taking the kids to play at the playground near by. WOW- we were not prepared for such a delightful evening!! The owner made us feel so welcome the moment we arrived. The kids absolutely adored the fish tank. The food was excellent and we inhaled it before I could get a photo!! Thank you all - we will be back soon. read more

We've been going to/ordering out from this Asian restaurant for many years(even back when it was under a different name). This place has not disappointed on any of our visits. Eat in or to go, they always take care of us. During the COVID19 crazy days, the owner was kind enough to share his home made chocolate chip cookies that his wife made. They always acknowledge and recognize me(I do the pickup). Our orders are usually $50 - $75 orders and EVERYTIME the Manager/Owner(Mr. or Mrs. Ho) offers a free soup or free wontons(oh yeah, the food is always money and delicious BTW). My only go to Chinese restaurant nowadays in Springfield(Terriaki Grill is now closed and Magic Wok is just so so these days). read more

Food was alright. I now understand that a lot of it tasted pretty good because of all the MSG. Also, I placed my order and the waitress had told me that I could also choose a soup and a side because that came with my lunch. I was pleasantly surprised and I did just that. Come to find out the soup is an additional charge and the side was also an additional charge. So what should've been a $13 lunch ended up being a $30 lunch. After taxes. I was not pleased and they genuinely didn't seem to care. It was very deceitful and I definitely won't be going back there. Between the chemicals being used to entice me with their food and lying about how their meals are being served; buyer beware. read more

Excellent food, excellent service. The lemon chicken is so fresh and the shrimp in sauce is delicious!

We've been coming here for years and the owner and staff feel like family. When we celebrate, they celebrate with us! Excellent food and service! I love their dragon wings and bang bang shrimp too!! So yummy! read more

This was my second time here but my first time dining in. The owner Darren encouraged me to dine in and suggested I have the Mango chicken with a side of broccoli. I also ordered hot and sour soup which was delicious. The Mango Chicken has real slices of mango in it which was delicious with the sauce. The waitress Maggie was great too. Always refilled my water for me and brought out my food promptly. I will definitely be back for other options on the menu. Maybe for lunch time. read more

Family wanted good Chinese food because I wasn't cooking. . We decided to look up Asian Grill, they had really tasty dishes. Our favorite is all white meat orange chicken, chicken fried rice and crispy beef. The orange chicken was juicy, lightly breaded with very tasty sauce. The sauce had a little kick to it! Delicious!!!!! The chicken fried rice was made to perfection, one of the best chicken fried rice we had in a long time. Crispy beef was lightly breaded then deep fried and stir fry with this tasty sauce. We really enjoyed our meal from Asian Grill and looking forward to trying other meals. If it were just for the food, I'd give 4 or 5 stars -- the items I've ordered have been quite tasty. The problem is the online ordering menu. It used to have a separate section for sides and extras (which mostly worked), but now those are embedded under the entrees, which works for, say, sauce choice but not for extras. Now, if I want an extra order of rice, I am unlikely to get it, but I'll still get charged. The reason is that on the ticket that is printed for the kitchen, it doesn't say EXTRA, just says "[size] RICE". When picking up in person, it's easy to check the order and get it corrected; you can show that you were charged on the receipt. Doesn't work for delivery. Fix this and get more stars. read more

Greeted and seated immediately, friendly staff. Nice decor. Decided on the Garlic chicken and Hunan chicken. Both had chili peppers by the meals so we expected a spicy meal. Service was quick and we were eating in a few minutes. Both dishes were good but not very spicy. A little chili oil made it great. The apple cinnamon dessert was a nice bonus. The cost is somewhat high for Chinese food but well worth the price. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. read more

I was only planning on grabbing a menu after stopping by the liquor store. While looking at the menu, a server/waitress/employee asked if I wanted tea while I waited.... I know from the way she asked she wasn't going to charge me for it(edit: don't come in looking for free tea, the people here are too nice..I'm just mentioning it because of the knee jerk warm feeling from the staff). This instantly made me interested in trying the food here. I haven't seen that kind of courtesy in a restaurant in many many years. I ordered something somewhat non-expensive and light since I wasn't planning on eating here in the first place. I ordered the Asian seafood soup. I was not disappointed. It was light, not fishy(smelling 'edit:or tasting..in the bad way'), and hit the spot. The shrimp, fish and vegetables were extremely fresh...or at least had the texture/consistency, and flavor indicated as much. It's certainly made daily. Elaine is a jewel. Not only did she get them a sale.. but it 100% got them a return customer. read more

What a wonderful celebration we had at Asian Grill! My family is grateful and we look forward to our next visit. The staff made us feel like treasured family members. The Owner is delightful and hysterical. Every food item was delicious...fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. The adult beverage selection was a fun treat. Happy New Year!!! read more

Found this restaurant while we were roaming outside the Whole Foods. It's a bit hidden in a huge parking lot so we haven't checked it out before even though we've been living in the area for a while now. First of all, the inside decor is very clean and spacious (granted that we only went on a Tuesday's night after a long weekend so there wasn't much customers). Not really high-class or sophisticated but definitely a good atmosphere for a family dinner or big gathering. Why I gave the five-star rating is for the food and service. The ingredients were so fresh and the dishes were very well-seasoned. If you want healthier version of Chinese take-out, this is the place to be! P.s: the owner is super nice and sometimes he would give away appetizers or samples of new dishes on the menu... we go surprised samples every time we came so it's great if you have children as well, I'm sure they'll love the treats! read more

Probably the best Chinese food in the area for me. I really liked their kung pao chicken the best. General tso was good but Mongolian beef was a no. The owner was really nice when I went to pick up my food. Will come back for kung pao chicken. read more

Visited twice + each time had a delicious meal + the service was excellent. On the last visit, I wanted simply a chicken broth soup w/vegetables. It was served hot and there were no mystery ingredients, nor was the broth murky. Very soothing. My man ordered Hunan chicken. It was rich in flavor - the chicken was cooked right and there was no excess sauce. The portion size was extremely generous! The proprietor and his spouse personally attended to us as if we were guests at their home. Overall each time we had very positive experiences. read more

All the meals we have had are fresh well cooked and enjoyable. Personal friendly, you are made to feel welcome

Owner (Darrin) and the entire Asian Grill staff provide the customer superb service and the best of Asian delights. The carry-out business continues to be outstanding (and the food also outstanding) -- am happy to say that "in restaurant dining" has resumed (and the food is outstanding. Sunday 5:30-7:30 p.m. is the busiest day and busiest hours -- which may slow-down service some (can not rush good food -- and every dish is made to order). Every/all other times, service and food are without peer. Meals are competitively priced (not "cheap food" -- but outstanding food at great value!) read more

Absolutely delicious food. Probably the best Chinese I have had in the area. Also, amazing owners with great customer service - We ordered take out and when I went to pick up, I was told they don't accept the only credit card I had on me. The owner was so sweet and told me to take the food and call him once I got home to complete the payment with a different card. He also gave me a free veggie side (once he found out we are vegetarian). Will definitely be coming back and supporting this restaurant. read more

Asian Grille is by far the best Chinese food in our area. The ingredients are all fresh and the chef prepares things with great attention to detail. This is not over-Americanized Chinese. In addition, the owner and his wife are so genuine and friendly. He remembers you, asks about the family and gives you a hug when you leave. Yes, the prices are a little more expensive, but the portions are big and the food is fantastic! There is a lot of very mediocre Chinese food in the area. Not this place. Truly a Northern Virginia hidden gem! We had the pan fried dumplings which were tasty. Then had pork lo mein, which was not too greasy like most are. We also experimented with the Pineapple Chicken, which was delicious!! Honestly, we have never had a disappointing meal here. read more

Absolutely love their vegetarian/vegan options! The first time I ordered, they sent one wrong item, but was super awesome to credit me an entree and sent a free appetizer the second time I ordered to make up for the previous order. My friend and I came here for lunch. I had been here a few years back and wasn't too impressed. Since we were already in the strip mall off Rolling Rd, we decided to give them a try. They do have a separate lunch menu but not really lunch combinations. Everything is ordered separate, not your typical soup/eggroll/main dish for one price. Yes, as others have said, it's a bit 'priced higher' than the normal chinese lunch places. The staff was extremely friendly, check on us often and provided answers to every question we proposed. Those were the 'good'. Once we ordered our appetizers, we literally wait close to almost 20 minutes for an egg roll(fried) and garden rolls to arrive. For a lunch crowd, there was about 5-6 tables occupied so I saw no reason for the egg roll to take that long. Again, staff was very friendly but no egg roll appeared. After the appetizers, the main dishes crept into our line of sight within another 20 minutes. Honestly, if I was pressed for time, this would NOT be the place to be. The food was ok, not worthy enough for me to leave my current fav Chinese locations, of which there are about 3-4 just in Burke/West Springfield. I ordered a beef/broccoli dish called Cha Sa( the name escapes me), and even asked the server if the sauce was Mongolian Beef-like, and YES was the answer. It was no where near, this was more like a beef/broccoli dish with brown gravy, no flavor, just lots of broccoli. My friend ordered a shrimp pad thai that unfortunately did not resemble the typical Pad Thai but my friend was gracious and ate it. Would I come here again, probably not. Is it all the rave, I don't think so, but then again, I am used to my greasy fav hangouts. read more

Great food, great prices. I didn't know that Chinese cuisine could be that nice. The manager is always around checking the quality of the service, which makes it fast; Faster than when he isn't around. Take out, not so good - yesterday my husband ordered hot and sour soup and shrimp Gyoza and when we opened the bad at home we found Shrimp Kabob instead. The problem is the lady who picked up the phone could barely speak and understand English. read more

I came in here expecting typical Americanized Chinese food that's meh which you can probably tell I wasn't so excited for. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty Americanized but they did a damn good job at it. The dishes we ordered were on point in flavor, texture, whatever, you name it. Chicken is tender.. filet flounder is awesome.. and yeah. I mean, I usually never finish my food and bowl of rice at a Chinese restaurant but here I totally devoured everything. I thought it was nice that the manager went around to all the tables and would make jokes with a lot of people who I'm assuming were some regulars. Very friendly and expect him to crack a few jokes and then hear his distinct laughter afterwards. The most interesting thing I found about this place was that not only do they give you a fortune cookie at the end of your meal, but an apple pie with a twist. It's an apple pie in a wonton wrapper. Hot, crispy, apple pie-y goodness. I've never seen anything like it before so kudos to them for pleasingly surprising someone who isn't surprised too often. read more

Asian Grill is a great Chinese Restaurant in West Springfield. One of the best things about this place is the staff. The staff is probably the friendliest staff you will meet at a Chinese restaurant. Mr. Ho and staff always greet you and remember who you are. You really do feel welcome when you go there. I have not dined at Asian Grill in many years. I do solely take-out. My staples are the Kung Pao Chicken and the Beef Lo Mein. When you first take a look at the menu you might feel taken aback by the prices. Some of the prices do feel a little high (It seems hard to justify two pieces of Crabmeat Wanton for $4.50). However for the amount of food that you get in the entrees the price feels about right. The Kung Pao Chicken easily feeds my wife and me for dinner with enough leftover for lunch the next day. We usually crush the Beef Lo Mein. Not only are the portions large, the quality of food is just so much better than other Chinese restaurants. I feel that the quality of meat they use is a much higher grade. At first for us it was hard to justify paying over $20.00 for Chinese food but after going to other restaurants its worth the price. If you are looking for a good Chinese place for take out or dine in, Asian Grill should be your first stop. With the quality of food and great customer service, Asian Grill blows its competition out of the water. When you figure out what dishes you want for the right price you will not be disappointed. read more

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. First, the food is great. Whatever you try, it is always consistently good. My favorites are the hot and sour soup, and the vegetable and chicken soup which is so filling (and I think healthy - fingers crossed!). Any of the chef's specials are great too! What really has me coming back is the genuine kindness, friendliness, and generosity of the owners. One story: I ordered carry out during COVID. I was nearby and realized the credit card I had with me wasn't working. I didn't have any cash, and after apologizing and getting ready to leave, the owner gave me my food, and said "it was just money, to enjoy, and to pay back if I wanted, that he trusted me." I was so very touched by this gesture of generosity and trust. Needless to say, my meal was wonderful. I shared it with some coworkers, and they will be ordering from there as well. I hope to return again and again when I'm in the area, and hope fellow yelpers will do the same. You won't be disappointed. Thank you to the owner again! God bless you. read more

Fantastic!! Live in Richmond and come up to Northern VA for family. Asian Grill is a must stop every time! My favorite place to eat Asian food with my fiance. They have a assortment of different cultures foods and they're all great. The owner makes you feel at home and genuinely happy you're there. I've ordered a bunch of stuff there. The mango and pineapple chicken are my favorites there. The fried rice is great too. They even give you a desert drink at the end which is a good sip. The service is kinda relaxed. You won't get a server talking your head off which I kinda like. The volcano drink is amazing, don't drive afterwards lol This will forever be my to go mango chicken spot! read more

Walked in and liked the decor of the restaurant. The menu had a variety of Asian dishes that sounded great. What sets apart this Chinese restaurant from others in the area is the freshness of the food. Their chicken is delicious, always moist. I love their chicken lo mein, combo fried rice, and summer rolls. Their spicy sauce is made FRESH daily with sautéed hot peppers. If you ask for anything spicy you will get this yummy fresh peppers on it unlike other places that use a store bought spice.
