General chicken
Danna B.

Siu is our favorite - whether it's the Korean bbq side or the express. We always order the general chicken lunch combo with hot and sour soup! Other items we have ordered and loved are the popcorn chicken, fried calamari, garlic noodles, beef broccoli and spicy pork belly. So good and can't beat the price! We have tried the drinks here and honestly, it's not our favorite. I've tried the oolong milk tea and Thai iced tea, both are just ok. Today, I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee and maybe we just had a bad batch or something because it was far from a Vietnamese iced coffee. I was expecting a strong coffee taste, but it just tasted like milk. Just by looking at the drink, you can tell it was mostly milk. Not gonna take off a star though, because I'm hoping we just got a bad batch.

Excellent service, the staff is super fast and accommodating, the atmosphere is so relaxed and friendly and then there was the food; so much good food. The price is worth the service alone; what a great find. We will definitely be back.

Came here for a milk tea and a sea salt caramel ice mocha with boba. Did not like the milk tea as the tea has a weird Earl Grey like flavor. The sea salt caramel was pretty sweet and lacking that salty foam goodness. We wouldn't come back for boba drinks here. Service was good and the place is really nice. On the flip side the Chinese food menu looks good and we would like to come back and try some of those items. This review for BUBBLE TEA only

5 season wings, nice crispy and delicious

Best Chinese food I have had in a while. We were on a family road trip from California and are foodies at heart so we gave this place a chance and were not disappointed at all! It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but looks can be deceiving, the inside was not what we expect, very nice and clean establishment. Employees were so helpful and polite. We ordered the 5 season wings to start (then a second order to finish. That's how great they tasted). For a family of 4 we ordered combo chow mien, combo fried rice and beef with broccoli. Everything tasted amazing and fresh. We could not leave without trying out their boba teas and of course again we were not disappointed. When ever we are in town again, this will be a must go to for us again.

This review is for the boba drinks only, but I can't wait to try the food! I've had a few different drinks and they are always pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but they have a good flavor and plenty of customizable options. I found the milk tea to be a little watery for my liking, but the boba is perfectly cooked! I had the coconut milk tea this last time. Great flavor, not too sweet! I think I would like it in blended form better so I'll try that next time! Customer service is always great and they are pretty quick. Like I said, I can't wait to try the food. The menu looks great!

Chicken w/ broccoli and Hawaiian steak

Chinese isn't my favorite cuisine but Siu's food has me second guessing my choices. They definitely have some of the best Chinese food in town. It's always fresh and tasty. The portions are big and at a reasonable price. They also have lunch and dinner specials that come with rice and soup. It's a lot of food to say the least. I always get the chicken and broccoli with hot and sour soup. They also have a lot of appetizers; my favorites are the crab rangoons, sweet potato fries, and popcorn chicken. One of the main reasons I find myself coming here is for the boba! I've tried a lot of boba places and Siu beats out most of them. Their drink menu is simple and consistent. You won't get overwhelmed by a million different drinks like at some other boba places. Less is always more. My go to drinks are the Thai tea and Vietnamese iced coffee. The sea salt cream is a game changer and a must try! You can customize how sweet you want your drink as well. It can be 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%. I don't have a big sweet tooth so I always go with 25% and it's perfect. They also do take out so if you call ahead they'll have it ready for you by the time you arrive. The workers are very friendly and welcoming. The service is fast and always high quality. The Asian express is connected with their kbbq restaurant so make sure to check that out too!

Generals Chicken no brocolli

The best Chinese food in town. My favorites are the lunch specials Mongolian Beef and Generals Chicken. They give big servings and quality and taste are the best in town. So cheap too. Try their milk teas they are good too. Food is always fresh. Loved their chow mein, Generals Shrimp and Orange Beef too!

New or a local? This will be your go-to-take out ...thank me later! Being new to Reno and coming from Texas full of great food. It was a must to find my go to Asian take out spot! After trying a few, I always found myself going back to Sui. The food is always consistent, my favorite is their beef fried rice. Their beef is always nice and soft and full of flavor! The best part to top of things is their boba bar, (highly recommend Iced Caramel Salted Latte w/boba) is not to disappoint.

Jasmine milk tea with boba, 1/2 sweet. PERFECT
Stefanie Q.

Love this spot! I don't come too often, but if I'm in the mood for some comfort food in the way of general's chicken and a boba drink, this place hits the spot. Lunch special prices are the way to go, and the portions are super generous. The broccoli beef is a fav, and I love their chow mein. The employees are always friendly, and the ambience in the dine-in is casual yet modern and makes for a great lunch or dinner date.

New favorite bubble tea place. The boba is nice and soft. Thai tea flavor was not overly sweet.

The Wok is one of those places, and Sichuan/Chongqing food is one of those things that I'm jealous of people who get to experience it for the first time. Here's how to have an epic time at The Wok: Step 1. Get 4 to 8 people total that aren't afraid to try something a little different and maybe slightly spicy (seriously though it's not actually that spicy). If you need help with this step message me, I'd share a meal with some random people if it's at The Wok. Step 2. Flip to the back page of the menu, and order a few things that sound good to the group. Don't waste your time with the American Chinese menu (even though what I've had off of that menu is actually really good too). Make sure to get a decent mix of stuff like appetizers, veggies, noodle, soup, and meat dishes. Also don't be afraid to order multiple times. This gives you more time with the menu, and you can judge what sounds good in the moment. Step 3. Share the food family style with everyone until you are all full. I think at this point I've eaten everything on the Sichuan menu, and can say that if it sounds good to you, it is! Some of my favorite dishes are: Wontons in Chili oil, Bone in chicken wings, Spicy boiled fish fillet, Beef noodle soup, Green beans, Salt and Pepper tofu, Dan dan noodles, and Mapo Tofu. Finally, Janet (the manager) is amazing, and always willing to give a recommendation.

The Chow Mein looks appetizing but bland. Had a few pieces of shrimp but shrimp tasted like it's been in the freezer for a while; had a freezer burnt baking soda flavor. The Wor Wonton Soup broth was not seasoned well. The wonton filling was also just ok. Fish was the better of the dishes. Tender fillet cut into bite size. Had some soy based sauce and green onions.

When the pandemic hit, I started doing their Chinese takeout with the Combo boxes and learned that their Chinese food was also incredible and for several years now, have consistently gotten fresh, flavorful, quality ingredients that has never been wrong. I just kept forgetting photos because we end up scarfing it down before I realize that I still hadn't posted a review and I always want photos with my reviews. Last Friday night, I finally remembered and I'm glad I waited because this was the first time one of us got the Lobster Roll as an entree. This HUGE and beautiful roll is absolutely a meal unto itself and worth getting as your only entree. The sushi chefs are truly artists. It also tastes as good as it looks. I have became an AYCE "cheap date" in the last several years so I always get the combo box now. It gives you a little of everything and you can bring home leftovers. There's something about the salad, or rather everything about the salad! It's just lettuce, crunchy noodles and their house sesame dressing but the lettuce is always fresh, cool and crisp. It never tastes bagged so someone is prepping heads of lettuce every day. It doesn't matter if you choose the Tonkatsu, Sesame Chicken or Steak with your box because all of them are tender. I usually get the chicken and it's a LARGE portion of tender chicken, lightly breaded and then sauced, sliced and topped. The Tempura veggies always includes one shrimp, one zucchini and a few sweet potatoes. I upgrade my half sushi roll to the Wayne's roll or something for, usually, a $3 upcharge which still comes in very affordable. Their Egg drop and Miso soup is never thin and always hearty, white rice is perfectly cooked, slightly sticky. It's a nice sampler for people like me who have a hard time making a decision and isn't overly expensive. I'm generally cursed dining out and if something is gonna be wrong, taste bad, forgotten, undercooked, whatever... it's usually me. So when I find a place that never misses a step, it's like finding my personal unicorn. CJ is a unicorn!
