$8.50 for a delicious grilled pork Banh Mi is awesome! The service from young woman working at the counter is very friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is quiet inside as there have never been any other customers while I've been here but please don't let that stop you from trying this hidden gem![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It appears very clean inside but I also haven't been in the restroom, so I can't speak to that but judging from the rest of the space I'd imagine it is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I always get the grilled pork with no pate and extra jalapeño's. It doesn't necessarily taste "grilled" but none the less it still tastes great. They have a stamp card that will earn you a free drink after 10 stamps. I haven't tried any drinks yet but they stamp it every time I get a sandwich, so be sure to grab a card at the counter. Their website and yelp state that they are open everyday but they are closed all day on Tuesdays.

The drinks were very good, lots of flavor. So many delicious options to choose from we will be back to try some more. The service was great, explained the different drinks, and offered tasting of their roasted tea. Very good flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute and relaxing decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

first time here plenty of parking, its in between cvs and safeway ordered the banh mi grilled pork and cold cut will have to try their drinks next time grilled pork banh mi was different, good when its made fresh, made to order, may take a bit, not good the next day as the bread gets hard, so eat it right away, same day. the banh mi had a lot of pork cube cuts, stuffed with protein and a lot of cilantro which was good the cold cut was okay, the grilled pork banh mi was better imo enjoy!

I've tried twice and the drinks aren't my favorite; bit bland. Although I would come back for the sandwiches ! Very reasonable price and good amount of meat. Friendly staff and owner. They are willing to accommodate your order request.

We have been on a boba tea kick and had never heard of Royal Tea so we had to check it out! [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by the very kind employees and the delightful ambience![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a variety of places to sit and relax from tables, a bar stool table, and even a cute couples seat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a buy 2 get 1 drink free running until April so we had to take advantage! They tasted so delicious that this is our new favorite boba place! We also ordered the grilled pork Bahn mi, it was so good we went back for another! The bread was crispy, the veggies were fresh and the grilled pork was cooked perfectly. I cant recommend this boba place more for a perfect lunch date!

Came for boba, their staff are friendly. Service was prompt, with few people in front of me. I ordered Taro Milk tea, they are okay. Looking forward to try out their other drinks on their menu. They will have food soon, Estimated date is middle of August. Will be back soon with friends, and definitely will be recommending this location as well, since it is convenient location. Their shop is beautifully decorated, nice decor.

Doesn't taste home made really. Has a funny taste and bad value. 6.75 for a size like this? Meh. Too sweet as well.

New place off of Vista (Sparks) in the Safeway shopping center. Always welcoming of new businesses so wanted to support. This place has boba teas and Banh mi sandwiches. The drinks were good but they were not as cold as they should be especially on a hot day. This place is new so it's worth coming again. I tried the pork Banh mi sandwich. It was very tasty but noticed there was a pate spread which I've not had in other Vietnamese sandwiches. I will ask it be left out the next time. The pickled vegetables were delicious and just perfect. There is a coupon on back of a Safeway receipt but we didn't have one. Not sure how long they will have the coupon. Definitely will be back.

I decided to try this new tea place and it was okay. Staff was friendly but didn't really seem to know much about the drinks and couldn't really answer much ( maybe they were new) But I decided to order a couple drinks and also their dessert. Desserts were good but drinks were alright. It was incredibly sweet and I didn't like one drink I ordered and neither did my family. I will come again and try different drinks and see if it like those.

This place was wonderful! From the very nice and helpful employees to their delicious boba and sandwiches, I will definitely be going back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The store itself was cute, bright and very clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So, check out the menu before a visit to make sure they have what you are looking for. Pros: Yummy appetizers, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, pho (beef was especially good), and speciality drinks. Other items too I am sure but this is what I have sampled so fat. Con: They really toasted the bread on the Bahn mi, on all times someone at our table has ordered it, it is a struggle to eat, especially for smaller mouths/ those in braces. So ask for it an adjustment- if you need it softer. They are more expensive than other options in the area.

I love their iced classic drip coffee with condensed milk (cà phê sữa đá) and the iced pandan coconut iced coffee. So far I've tried the Saigon banh mi with the classic combination hams, the baguette was crunchy and fluffy and the hams were thinly sliced paired with the classic pickled daikon and carrots, a lot of parsley and jalapenos but it wasn't the best banh mi I've ever had. I've also tried the pistachio ricotta cake which was not overly sweet. I've always loved the service here with the clean tables and cute aesthetics and friendly staff. Food and drinks comes out fairly quickly. It's a great place to get delicious coffee and try different Vietnamese food.

Traditional Vietnamese or Chinese cuisine IMO, is difficult to find here compared to the Bay Area. But that's not the fault of Reno, it's just the number of asian restaurants are so much fewer here and all the produce is literally imported. My goto when checking out a chinese restaurant is their chow fun noodles. Why? The noodles are perishable and if frozen the texture becomes a bit mushy, not firm. Was the noodle fresh, yes but with the cavet that it was probably imported day or two earlier. There are no local noodle makers in Reno. The dish was prepared in traditionally with a slight twist. Garlic, lots of minced garlic. Not complaining, as this is unusual for chow fun noodles to get amost a fourth of a garlic bulb worth. I ordered the mixed protein version with chicken, pork, and beef. There was a slight sweetness to the dish, which I am atributing it to sugar. Which again is unusual but a welcome addition like the garlic. My last visit was when some relatives visted from the Bay Area and we had lunch. I didn't want to take a chance on the food that they may not be used to, so we choose SK Noodle. Eveyone had their vietnamese Pho and grilled dishes and so far SK did dissapoint any of the Northern CA food snobs! I will be back.

This time I went with the Broken Rice Combination Plate and we shared a Combination Banh Mi. Both were delicious. Call me crazy, but when I get a large…read moresteaming bowl of broth with meat and toppings, and sit at a nice big table with all the condiments and special spoons, with all the aromos floating about, it enhances the experience. Taking home a smaller container of broth than what you get if you ate there, with everything packed up, risking the spill on the drive home, only to probably have it sit on the counter for awhile before getting to dig in... not how I like to eat pho. So I ordered some takeout stir fry "chow mein" and pot stickers from Pho 999 in Reno NV, and this is the review of it. I ordered at 5:30pm on a Friday night, got my food at 5:45pm, and was able to eat it at 6:15pm so it was still reasonably warm. First, the pot stickers. They came with three different sauces, something I appreciated. Some bitter chili oil, sambal chili paste (I assume) and some kind of sweet and savory sauce I couldn't identify. Kinda akin to teriyaki but not cloying and sticky, purely liquid. Which I didn't mind at all, it was delicious. As were the pot stickers. A little crispy, tasty filling, perfectly seasoned as you could eat then by themselves. Now the combo stir fry with "chow mein" noodles, and shrimp and beef. The stir fry combo is fully customizable, something I like. Many different noodle options and three meat options. What I got did not appear to be what I ordered. To the average American, these are egg noodles. Flat, wide, soft, no char whatsoever, which not what you would expect from chow mein. Did I like them? They were ok. Is it what I pictured? No. But I've ordered chow mein at Pho places in the past, and got exactly what you expected chow mein to be. These were not. They were cooked well, salted adequately, and took to additional sauce well (I added the sweet/savory sauce from the pot stickers). The rest of the stir fry I ordered was good, though they included all three meats, chicken beef and shrimp. I didn't want chicken. Kinda leads me to believe the person cooking got confused, put the wrong stuff, and just kept cooking the same batch. The veggies were cooked perfectly and there was a good mix of them. There was a appropriate amount of meat, not excessive or under whelming. But that is how I was left feeling after eating at Pho 999, which makes me a bit sad. When I picked up the food everyone was really nice, polite, and welcoming. The dining area appeared clean. I had fully planned on going back and dining in So I could experience fresh pho in person. But, I have to judge my experience based off of what I asked for, and what I got. Pot stickers were a 5 out of 5. Definitely would order again. The fact you get ten of em for under ten bucks is really nice. The stir fry "chow mein"? 2.5. they weren't bad, but they weren't great. Just ok....and for $18, just ok is unacceptable. Final rating? A disappointing 3 out of 5. I hope when I go back to try the pho in person I get a better experience than I had today.

One thing we noticed right away was that the bonchon was already set on the tables before guests arrived. It wasn't a large spread--just a small tin of cheese corn and a divided tray with kimchi, bean sprouts, and fish cake--not sure how long they were left out and did look and taste dry. The servers seemed to work well together. Different team members checked on us, cleared dishes, served food, and helped other's tables. Once it got busier, they also used robot servers to help deliver food. We started with the salad with house dressing and the popcorn chicken. Both were good, and the chicken was nice and moist. For the BBQ, we ordered the Chardol, Ju Mul Luck, Hawaiian Steak, Tri-Tip Bulgogi, and Galbi (short ribs). Having eaten at quite a few Korean BBQ restaurants in Las Vegas, we noticed the portions here were a bit smaller. They also limit each round to three appetizers and four meat selections. Overall, the service was good, and we especially appreciated Eurie for being friendly and attentive. The only thing that concerned us was when another server changed our grill. Instead of lightly drizzling oil onto the grill, she forcefully squeezed the bottle, causing the oil to shoot out onto grill. It seemed like an unnecessary safety risk for both guests and employees. Our favorites were definitely the Tri-Tip Bulgogi and the Galbi. Both were flavorful and tender. The Chardol was good, but the slices were very thin and the portion felt a little small. The restaurant filled up quickly between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m., so it's clearly a popular spot. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would come back for the Tri-Tip Bulgogi, Galbi, and the teamwork displayed by the staff.

As someone who occasionally likes to eat alone, I really appreciate that. I've visited several times over the years, including recently under the newer ownership. Unfortunately, some of my old favorites aren't quite the same. I used to love their deep-fried oysters, which are no longer on the menu and have been replaced with deep-fried mussels. The kimchi stew recipe also seems to have changed and wasn't as memorable as before. That said, they still serve my favorite gopchang (beef small intestine). When cooked properly, it gets wonderfully crispy and reminds me of Mexican tripas tacos--definitely worth ordering. I'd personally skip the bibimbap appetizer. The rice was hard, the ground beef was cold, and it felt like it relied too heavily on the gochujang sauce for flavor. Even with those changes, I'll continue supporting this business. Service was also attentive.
