I got the coconut milk tea and it's coconut forward which I love. Elite tip, it's sweet so you may not need to any any sugar or sweetener to this. I love that they give you the option to also choose between milk alternatives and sweetness levels!!! Banh mi This is the star of the show! I have been craving a good authentic banh mi since my favorite place closed and I found it. The meat is well seasoned, the picking on the carrots and daikon are perfect, cucumbers are fresh, and they use banh mi paste!! The price is also very competitive. My first time trying this place was beginning of March and since then, I've been back several times. Their Bahn Mi sandwiches are loaded and delicious, we got the pork one and devoured it. They have a huge menu of drinks to choose from. I've tried several of their boba drinks and really like it (I usually like to order mine 25% sweet) and they do well with adjusting the sweetness levels. Their regular fruit teas are also tasty and refreshing! Staff was friendly. The vibe inside is cute, lots of space to sit and super clean! $8.50 for a delicious grilled pork Banh Mi is awesome! The service from young woman working at the counter is very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is quiet inside as there have never been any other customers while I've been here but please don't let that stop you from trying this hidden gem! It appears very clean inside but I also haven't been in the restroom, so I can't speak to that but judging from the rest of the space I'd imagine it is. I always get the grilled pork with no pate and extra jalapeño's. It doesn't necessarily taste "grilled" but none the less it still tastes great. They have a stamp card that will earn you a free drink after 10 stamps. I haven't tried any drinks yet but they stamp it every time I get a sandwich, so be sure to grab a card at the counter. first time here plenty of parking, its in between cvs and safeway ordered the banh mi grilled pork and cold cut will have to try their drinks next time grilled pork banh mi was different, good when its made fresh, made to order, may take a bit, not good the next day as the bread gets hard, so eat it right away, same day. the banh mi had a lot of pork cube cuts, stuffed with protein and a lot of cilantro which was good the cold cut was okay, the grilled pork banh mi was better imo enjoy! read more

We have been on a boba tea kick and had never heard of Royal Tea so we had to check it out! As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by the very kind employees and the delightful ambience! They have a variety of places to sit and relax from tables, a bar stool table, and even a cute couples seat! They have a buy 2 get 1 drink free running until April so we had to take advantage! They tasted so delicious that this is our new favorite boba place! We also ordered the grilled pork Bahn mi, it was so good we went back for another! I was walking around Safeway shopping center located on Vista Blvd. when I noticed this shop that had banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) posted on the window. Since I love banh mi sandwiches, I chose the one with the head cheese and pate. They have a total of 4 different kinds of banh mi sandwiches. I paid a little over $9 which is very reasonable. I can honestly say the sandwich is one of the best ones I have had in the Sparks/Reno area without having to drive to Sacramento. The sandwich was loaded with meat and veggies. The flavor was excellent and the portions were huge and left me satisfied. I will definitely be back for more! read more

The drinks were good but they were not as cold as they should be especially on a hot day. This place is new so it's worth coming again. I tried the pork Banh mi sandwich. It was very tasty but noticed there was a pate spread which I've not had in other Vietnamese sandwiches. I will ask it be left out the next time. The pickled vegetables were delicious and just perfect. There is a coupon on back of a Safeway receipt but we didn't have one. Not sure how long they will have the coupon. I decided to try this new tea place and it was okay. Staff was friendly but didn't really seem to know much about the drinks and couldn't really answer much ( maybe they were new) But I decided to order a couple drinks and also their dessert. Desserts were good but drinks were alright. It was incredibly sweet and I didn't like one drink I ordered and neither did my family. The staff was nice. When we went, it was not super busy. I like that their tea had tea taste for the milk tea. That's a plus for me, but overall, it's just ok. The facility is super beautiful and well made, but nothing about it really stood out to me from any other shop in reno. Location wise. It's convenient. I would go there again. I did go with a friend. I didn't get their boba, but they do have pudding and grass jelly. So I'm going to try that combo with some taro milk tea next time. Indo recommend going. They will have food soon. I've been here a couple times, the staff is super nice! I love the Thai tea boba but the taro boba is also really good. I prefer to do less sweet on my drinks because I think they are pretty sugary and too sweet. Their bahn mi sandwich is also very good! read more

Brand new Bubble tea spot. Service was friendly and staff seemed approachable. Menu is vast and seems like the possibility's are endless. No food as of yet but coming soon! If you are in a hurry you may want to come back when you have time. Staff is still learning and process's are still being developed so speed of preparation is still less than optimal. Now for the tea! Visually each tea is not lacking, I mean they have great presentation. Taste wise I would say that the delivery of flavors is a miss for me. With the beautiful layers of colors comes the separation of flavors and sweetness. Nothing a shake can't fix, but when the boba is served with a sipping lid rather than sealed plastic on top, your only option is to stir. Stirring was a disaster, spilled ice and valuable drink. In the end don't rely on the top. Always grab a straw, this thing is filled all the way with ice so a straw will be needed to get to the boba. We had the matcha mango which was nice after it was stirred to hell. Also tried the sweet potato and taro milk tea. Both lacking the sweetness needed for those flavors to explode. I'm not talking super sweet, it was just bland and not great even after I stirred the crap out of it. Had my wife with me and we both agree that this was not as great as it could have been. I think the potential is there after the operational flow is optimized. Again this is just my review. Service was nice, location nice, just needs some adjustments. 3.5/5 read more

Personally I don't think the price point is worth it compared to how much ice they fill. I've had smaller drinks with more liquids than this and I usually love a lot of ice with my drink. I got a creme brulee and I wouldn't call it creme brulee. It doesn't taste like creme brulee. We also got the taro I actually really liked it since the flavors were strong of taro. I'll probably give it another shot when they have it worked out but for now I wouldn't go back. read more

Average shop. Had Banh Mi and Bao. The Banh Mi tasted ok nothing special about it that would make me go back. The Bao seemed premade and frozen then they just heated it to sell. They got a nice selection of tea drinks but I didn't try it. read more

I've been waiting for this boba shop to open for a while now and it did not disappoint! First off, the shop itself is beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of time and thought into making the best of the space. Decor is super cute! Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The drink options are endless and there's something for everyone whether it being a milk tea, fruit tea, smoothie, endless different toppings. I have been here a handful of times, and each visit you can tell the staff, food and drinks have worked out the quirks. The banh mi's are delicious, we ordered all the ones they offered and they definitely hit the spot. When I spoke to the owner she had explained that originally the bread, which is key for banh mi, came from a different bakery due to some order complications and therefore were not the best. But the new recipes and bread that they now have, delish! They will now be offering Banh Boas as well, consider them fluffy steamed buns with endless possibilities for the fillings they offer inside. They'll even have vegetarian option as well which is great. Just like any new business, sometimes you have to jump through a few hurdles to make sure staff is all on board and with time and practice, it can be perfected and i definitely see the effort and changes just within a couple months. The owner here needed workers before she opened, hired my son on the spot. Didnt train him ONE day. Threw him into making drinks without any guidance or training and then continually told him what he wasn't doing right even after he expressed his concern for no training. He worked there for a few weeks, she sent him his schedule then everyday he had work would erase his name and replace it with someone else's until she slowly pushed him out. No conversation or "firing" just slowly pushed him to the side hoping he will forget about his job. Unprofessional, rude, and has no idea how to treat her employees. Terrible experience for a young SMART amazing student to experience in the work force. Do better. read more
