The team came around to wish me a happy birthday!
Laura R.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant over the years while visiting Reno. Came here for my birthday dinner with my brother. Always fresh and delicious food. The service was exceptional. Quick to take our order and bring our food out. The lovely people we encountered that work there that made everything great were, Juan Jr., Jenny, and Luis! Thanks all of you! Beautiful lighting which makes this place feel cozy and warm. Came here on a Tuesday night and was quite crowded for a week night. It's in a plaza but in its own building. They share a parking lot with a grocery store and other shops. Therefore plenty of parking since some of those shops close by 5. Definitely a memorable birthday!

Yum! My fave order of Bento Box

Been coming here for years and to my surprise today is the day i'd like to give my ratings. It's a pretty big place being able to sit huge crowds of sushi lovers. Service is fast and our usual waiter is always top tier in customer service. My favorite is the Bento box 3 with salmon. Good news, they have changed the beans to cucumber so i can eat my money's worth. The beans were eeekkkk and cucumber salad is much better. If you order the bento they'd give you some soup. I also tried the mango tango sushi and it was very refreshing!

This is the first time we've been to this location. We had a to-go order and it was ready on time. When we got home, we opened our appetizers and saw they were swimming in coleslaw dressing so they weren't crispy. We ordered Mountain, Geisha, Train, Tahoe, and Spider. I realize that they won't taste as fresh as in the restaurant, but they all tasted the same. The Spider roll had something crunchy inside that shouldn't have been there and had an off-putting flavor and texture. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back to this restaurant.

We had lunch at Ijji Sushi 1 (at the Ironhorse Shopping Center location). When our party of four walked in the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a staff member and shown to a nearby table. Aside from drinks, we ordered a few appetizers right off the bat: three orders of baked mussels, two orders of fried calamari, two orders of Kyoto, one order of fried potstickers and an order of miso soup. After our appetizers were dropped off, our server picked up our sushi orders and within minutes, our sushi orders were delivered at our table. The appetizers and sushi were expertly prepared, everything tasted good. There was so much food, we almost didn't finish it all. This visit was a positive dining experience: good food, attractive service, plentiful portions and reasonable pricing; we had a lovely meal.

Having a hard time rating this place, so benefit of the doubt raises it to 4 because my one roll was pretty good with ebi shrimp and avocado plain like I like it. I really liked the soft sticky rice. The problem came when I asked for cooked salmon if they had it but I specifically said I cannot have tempura or any type of breading around it being gluten free but it did in fact come fried. So that was unfortunate. My husband ate it and we didn't bring it to their attention which I feel like I could have but didn't wanna bother. Otherwise it was a nice large restaurant, I'd never been here and had not read reviews so I found them interesting. We came with friends who really like this place. I would go back for my one roll! lol

I will always go to the bathroom first... Gross!! One of the toilet lids was tapped up, my feet stuck to the tile, a crap ton of half used TP rolls on the toilet, tacky, you need managers that care and will pay $40 for two new toilet seats. If your bathroom looks like this what does your kitchen look like? We turned around and walked out. The first sign of a don't give a rats ass staff is a bathroom you don't want to use!! Did not, could not, would not ever eat here again,..

This place is sooo good. The service and food was amazing they were super attentive. The miso soup was one of the bests i've ever had and i love miso soup. The kimchi fried rice was so delicious- Overall everything we got was super good!

This is a great sushi spot in town that can handle a big party easily. We had 8 people and they were able to manage the order accurately and in a timely manor. Very friendly staff and checked in on us the perfect amount of time!

Hello to every one reading this, I am giving Ijji Sushi a 2 star update review because my girlfriend and I went in with high hopes of good sushi and it was pretty good, until we were disgusted by seeing a hair coming from the bottom of the rolls, not on top it was caked in the role. The service was alright , took a while but it was busy. Usually we have a good time here but we found a better sushi place and this was our last time coming here. Over time it just went downhill and like a long relationship with ijji's sometimes it doesn't work out. RE: Also we barely ate any of our food, we went through maybe 4 nigiri's and half a roll and we still got charged the FULL AYCE, only a 10% discount. Which was still insane money after we told the waiter we were disgusted and weren't hungry anymore.

From left to right is the upside down shrimp,Golden gate ( which is deep fried, Fiesta and on the end San Francisco.

It's nice that they offer Long roll bundles for a decent price. I had a San Francisco, Fiesta and Golden Gate and an order of Upside down shrimp with crab apparently they also offer it to be topped with scouts but I've never had that. The fiesta and Golden gate were both really good but in my opinion the San Francisco had way too much avocado and no onion which the San Francisco is my go-to role so I was a little disappointed there he upside down shrimp was very good. Even though I called at 9:30 p.m. and they closed at 10:00 they still took my to-go order which was

This place is hit or miss (usually miss). The sushi chefs today were forgetful and not very friendly. I have given this place so many chances since it's near my home but I will not be back here again. Enjoy that $7 tip when I would have normally left $20.

I came here with my family to celebrate my sisters 12th birthday. I'm not a fan of seafood but this place also has Chinese so I was pretty excited to come and try this place out! I was quite surprised when I came in as this place was bigger than I expected! This place has a big bar, a very large and very long counter to sit at, lots of tables and lots of booths, and more! I was very surprised by the size of this restaurant! Our waiter has been very kind, he checked on us frequently and was very good at making sure he got what we wanted! I ordered a Watermelon Mojito as it's a type of drink I've never tried before. It was nice and minty on top of the watermelon flavor. I ordered the chicken teriyaki for my lunch and the chicken was pretty tasty, nice and firm and tasty! The noodles were pretty good as well, nice amount of sauce on them while also being well cooked! Overall this was a very pleasant and tasty experience, even if I didn't do great with trying the sushi, not my cup of tea. I probably won't frequent here as it's mostly a sushi place and I don't like sushi. But I definitely recommend it for anyone who does like sushi!!!

Enjoyed the AYCE, which includes appetizers and dessert. Service was attentive with dishes being cleared in a timely manner, and we were checked on and brought new selections promptly. It really made for an enjoyable experience. As per my previous review, the restaurant could use a bit of updating, but overall is comfortable and not as loud as some other local sushi places. An enjoyable dinner spot!

This place felt like Willy Wonka opened a milkshake bar for the Instagram generation…read more We stopped by Black Rock Dessert while looking for ice cream and instead found milkshakes on steroids. We ordered the Dust Storm: a vanilla milkshake with chocolate bits, topped with a giant blondie skewered dramatically on top, plus whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle. The rim of the jar was coated in marshmallow dip and graham cracker crumbs because apparently subtlety has left the chat. Honestly, the presentation was on point and exactly the kind of milkshake kids dream about. Which is why we ordered it. My tween declared it "the best milkshake I've ever seen in my life," and honestly, that alone made it worth the stop on our mother-daughter trip. Taste-wise, it leaned very sweet for me and didn't have a ton of flavor depth beyond sugar overload. But clearly the goal here is maximal fun and aesthetic, and they absolutely nailed that. It's basically a photo op you can drink. The shop itself was surprisingly quiet when we visited in the evening--we had the whole place to ourselves--but there were games to play while waiting for our order (we pulled out Pick Up Sticks, which transported me straight back to my 90s childhood living room). The ladies at the counter were also incredibly kind and patient explaining the menu and flavors to us. If you're looking for an over-the-top dessert experience your kids will talk about for days, this is your place.

I was super bummed they didn't have any, but we did settle for their peanut butter chocolate marble cake. I'm a personal sucker for lemon anything, so their lemon blueberry was a no-brainer. We had to take a red velvet cake bomb home as well. It's a big "cake pop" coated in chocolate ganache. It was my personal favorite! This cute little shop hasn't changed since the last time I set foot in there. The older lady working in the evening was a doll. She was friendly and patiently answered all of my questions. The frosting wasn't overly sweet, but our cake slices were on the dry side. I wish at about $9 a slice they were dated, so as a consumer, I knew when it was baked. The cake bomb is the way to go if you want dry cake or wash it down with a glass of milk. *They do a stamp card here, so ask for yours when you check out.* With their prices creeping up, I'll have to rethink my next visit to buy a dry slice of cake.

I stopped by right before closing and even though it was quiet the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'm no stranger to this chain (usually visit locations in LA) but this particular spot absolutely lived up to expectations. Every single one was delicious! I grabbed a few more flavors too, but those stood out as my favorites so far. To top it off, I tried the agua de jamaica, which was perfectly balanced refreshing and not overly sweet.
