Food was delicious, tasty and big serving. Service is always great, nice and clean environment. Taro with egg pudding and mango smoothie taste great just on the sweet side.

Thai tea boba

The drink and spring rolls came out pretty quick. Vibe is pleasant. The cafe is spacious with nice tables for students to study. The spring roll also has very thick cuts of cucumber, so it's extra crunchy. I had the Thai tea boba was delish and overall had a nice time at this cafe.

Tealeaf Café in Reno is a fun little spot with really tasty drinks. The inside is a bit strange and quirky, but the drinks make up for it. I'd definitely recommend asking for less than half sweet, otherwise it can be too much. Solid 4 stars! Quick service as well!

My first time eating here. My first thought was pricey...but I'm in the mood for Pad Thai NOW so I ordered Veggie Pad Thai with extra egg and extra bean sprouts. I also ordered it extra sweet and it's still not sweet enough for me. Next time I'll order it made with hoisin sauce to ensure maximum sweetness. As for my thought that it is expensive...turns out, not really. The portion is huge. My bill was under $18 and two people could share this if they are not huge eaters or not starving. For me it will be 4 meals and that makes it less expensive than most frozen meals. It's very delicious. I asked for extra hoisin sauce in a cup to go! All meals come packed to go however they have a few tables so I'm eating a bit fresh before I leave. I like this system. I usually take food home. If you don't need a full meal there are yummy snacks available. Check the full menu! If you find this review useful please VOTE!

Shrimp

Had two BBQ pork banh mi and fried shrimp for lunch. While the sandwich was STUFFED with BBQ pork, I was disappointed that there was no liver pate on neither of our sandwiches. It also did not have the pickled diakon. I will stick to my normal banh mi spot (La Mint). The shrimp appetizer was good though.

Combination Pad Thai

Our first-time visiting Tealeaf Cafe. This is a Bobba Drink place that serves food. Not an issue, just setting an expectation. The restaurant is clean, airy and inviting. I ordered the Combination Pad Thai. I thought the noodles were cooked well and had a wonderful flavor. Serviced with a plentiful amount of chicken, beef, pork and shrimp, there was no shortage of proteins. My wife ordered the BBQ Pork with Vermicelli. The BBQ pork was overcooked so meat was dry. The vermicelli and vegetables were redeemable, but overall her dish was just short of un-eatable. Really disappointing.

I love the format of this casual cafe. When I run errands in the mall area, I typically get hangry and want a delicious snack that is not fast food, but I don't want to commit to a sit-down experience. Tealeaf is casual, clean, friendly, and you can order Al la carte. I usually grab some fresh rolls with peanut sauce. Today, my daughter and I split Shrimp Firecracker rolls and Pad Thai. The firecracker rolls were crunchy and hot, wrapped in crisp romaine lettuce to dip in sweet chile sauce. Pad Thai fresh and Smokey, not too sweet with crunchy bean sprouts and cilantro. The kid wanted boba and we both agreed it wasn't our favorite, but we'll try again before they lose a star. My matcha boba milk tea with zero sweetener added tasted sweet to me..also the boba was too mushy. The kid said her fruit tea was 'gritty'. Boba or not, Tealeaf Cafe is my favorite spot for a heathy, tasty, quality snack spot for a hard days shopping trip.

BBQ Pork vermicelli with extra shrimp

Reviewing this place again. Just ordered BBQ pork vermicelli with extra shrimp and it's HUGE! I also got a Vietnamese coffee with oat milk and Boba. I always enjoy this place and the food and boba drinks are always fantastic. I ordered this over the phone today and the guy didn't tell me it was extra for the extra shrimp (I figured it would be but he didn't tell me how much) as well as extra for oat milk. Also, they give you "egg rolls" with the vermicelli that have shrimp in them! So, next time I will not order extra shrimp with this vermicelli. Overall, still happy with my purchases.

Chicken chow mein
Jennifer K.

The service was great which sucks because the food wasn't. The man up front was very nice! We ordered the chow mein and it was not good. It tastes as there was no sauce and the noddles were a bit tough. There were bean sprouts then noodles. Also the chow mein did not match the picture on the restaurant whatsoever. The boba was pretty good though.

Vietnamese sandwich and horchata with boba.

The last visit was for a pick up order to-go for dinner. I came in and ordered their homeade wonton soup special, egg fried rice, a Vietnamese sandwich with beef and a cookie dough poppable waffle ice cream and an horchata. Everything was so good and the egg fried rice was something else! It's my new favorite! I'll be in sooner or later for that frice alone. I'm so glad I heard about this place. Great service and I love how clean everything is in there.

Tofu pad Thai

Wow really good pad Thai! I got mine with tofu. Kinda was hoping for the puffy fried tofu, but the regular fried tofu was good! Flavorful and delicious! Hidden gem for me for sure

Loved the option to add oatmilk as an alternative to milk. So many variations to choose from! Service was fast and friendly! It's located in the Taste of Thai. Love that you can get a boba and lunch in the same location. What a wonderful treat!!!

But I just noticed that even though we are regular customers for years, I have never written a review under your Oddcha brand! Today we got the following: Mango Supreme - 100% as suggested. Very good, but next time I will ask for less sugar as it is my personal preference. Strawberry Milk Bar - My wife's order with less sugar. She enjoyed her drink, but forgot to add boba to her order... Just means we will be back for even more!! My daughter is a regular customer; she probably comes TOO often. I see from my past photos that she enjoys your Milk Tea Boba and Mango Brulee. Ambiance - Decent size location. Cool decor. Oddcha part of the business is to-go. Well, I have never seen people just come in and sit to just drink boba. Plenty of mall parking. The restaurant has indoor/outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is being built and I did not take any pictures as the contractor would have been in them. Free wifi but I did not use it. The restaurant has a Gluten Free menu available upon request. Open 6 days a week from 11am to 8:30pm. Closed Sundays. Service - Great system, congrats! Easy online ordering. A text message when the order is done and it was on time! Slight confusion when we arrived to pick up. As the scarf of the bear covered our name and order #, lol. So the poor guys had to check every single order for our order. Can I suggest lowering the slip on the bottle...? But the guys were friendly and inviting. Also hard workers as this was a busy time of day. Oh - You NEED a tip jar; I just handed them a cash tip. Price - $13 each + generous tip. Expensive, but that is the cost for quality or really for the cute bear bottle, lol. My wife wants to save it and bring it with our travels (I hope NOT). Owner Comment - You have a location in San Rafael, CA...? Congrats on Thai Lotus success for the last 19+ years and with this new concept and two locations. We have been customers of Oddcha for years, just see our pictures posted on your Thai Lotus Yelp page. :)

They even have an air hockey and foosball table. The fact that they have halo halo drinks is definitely a plus in my book because I've been craving it and I can't find Halo halo anywhere in Reno. They had two options: Taro/Ube or Buko Pandan. I went with the Buko Pandan (if you know, you know). And my husband got the Tiger smoothie. The halo halo isn't the traditional dessert where you use a spoon and eat it, BUT I love the convenience of it being a drink and using the same ingredients anyway. I do like the Buko Pandan flavor so next time I'm going to try the Ube. The Tiger smoothie was also really delicious! You can taste both the Thai tea and the milk. It was on the sweeter side, but was still pretty delicious. There was only one employee working the store so it did take a while because a lot of other people showed up after us. But I'll definitely be back to try more things!
