Don't waste your time!! Staff is so rude and has ZERO customer service skills. Lady was on the phone the entire time I was ordering and refused to hand me my order even though it was ready because she wanted to finish her conversation with whoever was more important on the phone. I even asked to get my order since it was sitting at the counter waiting and she put her index finger up and told me to wait. She continued to laugh and talk on the phone. So rude and I won't return. Ok so I ordered 2 soups and got my husband chicken chow mein. The soups are ok. The chow mein has not a single noodle. It is literally chicken with a bunch of lettuce and sprouts smothered in some clear sauce?!?! Not sure what happened there but definitely not what I ordered. read more

The food is always great but the service is absolutely terrible. Tonight my husband picked up an order that texted me and emailed a specific time to pick it up curbside. He showed up on time while watching other customers receive there order car in car out. Waited almost twenty minutes and 2 calls later finally got the order with a side of attitude from employee. If you can't get an order out at the time promised text me, email me, call me....or how about apologize???? He is currently picking up his wing order 25 minutes late because they forgot to make our order. No sorry, no emotion, no customer service. Decided to give this place a try. Ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken to go, Chow Mein, Pork Fried Rice, and a few other items. The first disappointment was the Sweet and Sour Chicken.... when i opened it at home it magically transformed into Sesame Chicken. I order one thing and they gave me the wrong dish. Very disappointing. The person taking my order must have placed or click at he wrong icon on the screen when he entered the order. My Fried Rice was full of celery and carrots.... truly dislike that. Chow Mein was blend in flavor. Over all, all the food was a bit blend in flavor. I will not be returning to this location and ordering from them. Whenever my wife and I want excellent Chinese food, this is the place to get it. We've been using the Beyond Menu app to order from them for awhile now and it's come in very handy since February. Their PuPu Platter for 2 is a great appetizer, and the Hunan Chicken and Mu Shu Pork are 2 all-time favorites. Just make sure to ask for chopsticks because they don't always provide them unless you ask. read more

Having been a loyal customer for years, spending $50-$75 a pop, once or twice a month, these people had the audacity to tell me I have to pay an extra .30 cents for extra duck sauce / soy sauce packets. Are you freaking kidding me??? It's not even about the .30 cents because who cares, it's .30 cents.. but it's the principle of the matter. As if their food isn't already expensive enough, you want to nickel and dime a person to death for a few extra sauce packets when everyone else leaves them out for the taking. I was looking for a Chinese restaurant that was close by and decided to try Asia Cafe. I ordered chicken with mixed vegetables with white sauce. I also ordered wonton soup and an egg roll. The soup had 1 noodle. The broth tasted like it was watered down. I threw it away. I tried the egg roll. The inside was very soggy and tasteless. I did not finish it. The chicken with vegetables contained very few vegetables, however there was a lot of chicken, but it had no flavor. Most of the meal ended up in the trash. This was my first and last time to order from Asia Cafe. The appearance of the restaurant should have been my first clue. They do not have in house seating, but it's not an excuse to not keep things neat and clean. read more

I've ordered twice from Asia Cafe for delivery while I am at work just a mile down the road. When it comes to Chinese food, I generally stay within my comfort zone and order the same three things, but I took a chance tonight, and was glad I did. Generally (and on my first order) I will order Sesame Chicken. For under 10$ it includes enough sesame chicken and rice to last two, maybe even three meals for a light eater. And it's REALLY delicious. A lot of places allow their sesame sauce to be overly sweet, and super thick, almost like maple syrup. Not here, and was pleasantly surprised to find the chicken was breaded lightly and pan fried to perfection. That coupled with the sauce made it super delicious. Tonight I had the Steak and Scallop Mongolian. Consisting of strip steak, scallops, onions and scallions. WOW. Easily get three portions out of this. EASILY. And it was really tasty too. The flavor combination was great, and the sauce just saturated it all together in a really nice way. I've been a long time fan of Yen Ching down off Genito & Hull, but their prices have climbed quite a bit, and quite frankly - it's not as tasty as Asia Cafe. Easily my now "go-to" Chinese ordering spot. read more

I used to frequent this place around 2008-2009, but the owners must have changed since then. The restaurant remains the same interior wise, but I did notice that the overall ambiance was different (not much of an appeal- no music playing), and the food was definitely different. They offer lunch specials as most Chinese restaurants do, but their soup portions are significantly smaller than those of most other restaurants where you are paying basically the same price for your lunch combination. I ordered the hunan chicken (popular dish), and the portion size for the dish itself was just enough for lunch. It came with soup, rice (fried or white) and a small egg roll. The service wasn't very friendly, but we got the food in a timely fashion. Not sure if I would return here; it's certainly not the same as it used to be. read more

The fact they deliver out in the boonies where I live is WONDERFUL!!!! I love the shrimp and broccoli, the Szechuan broccoli is fab and Singapore street noodles (chow mein fun) are delish also!!!! This is the worst Chinese restaurant we've ever ordered from. We did take out. The shrimp were mealy and I could only eat a few. My husband is the easiest to please person I've ever met and he wanted to throw his kung pao dish in the trash. Those crispy strips they serve with the meal had little bumps all over them and were clearly expired. We paid almost $30 for horrible food. read more

Tried this for the first time today. I agree with another reviewer - love Yen Ching but it's just not worth the cost. Was happy to find Asia Cafe. Asia Cafe has a wonderful online ordering site. Made it so easy! The food is plentiful and tastes great. The egg rolls were good. We also had Szechuan Scallops and Three Delicacies and it was cooked very well (I'm sick of rubbery seafood in stir fry), so they know what they're doing in the kitchen. It was nicely seasoned, too. My daughter had the tofu and veg and loved it. It's so rare to find a real vegetarian option that isn't just vegetables. My only complaint is the Hot and Sour soup is bland. Some hot but no sour (and no tree ears (mushrooms)). A disappointment. However, given the location and overall quality, we will definitely order again! PS - Please work on the Hot and Sour soup. read more

Food arrived quick, brown rice,brown Kung Po Chicken, Brown spring roll. Very little meat, mostly carrots,bamboo shoots and celery. Everything's tastes the same...Bland I was sitting in a booth...looked around at the tables with chairs...the upholstery was torn or tearing off all of them...so bad I can't imagine anyone would sit on them. The table cloth under glass on tables had stains...this place is just nasty! The lady that took my order was on a cell phone the entire time.. in the back.. talked so loud everyone in the building could here...everyone was 3 people. I suspect this place caters to delivery...but if the people ordering take out saw this place they might change their mind. I'd be curious to see the most recent health inspection score.
