I didn't actually purchase anything, but I tried, hard, on their website - I finally emailed customer support the Wed after black Friday (12/4) - no response for four days (it's now 12/8) - when they did respond, I was told there is a "security feature" which won't allow me to order, I was told to call customer service and place my order....(nope, won't get my rakuten rebate) Why even have a website, if you block some customers from ordering with this goofy "security feature"... I replied back pretty much immediately, crickets, until today (12/13) - they removed this feature and I can order now. I go to the website, no longer the price it was. Thanks Ashley, your customer service is fantastic. And now reading all the reviews, I am glad I didn't order. Update: Got another email today 12/17, asking what the issue is, even though it is in the initial contact and the bottom of the email string...they also told me if I send them a screen shot they will honor the sale price, dumb me didn't take one because I thought they might have decent customer service. Still glad I didn't purchase anything!!! read more

Was assured pieces were in stock. Salesperson even set up delivery date. Furniture never came. Called to have new date. Date set, furniture never came. Set up a third date, furniture never came. This time I was told it was no longer in stock and I would have to wait 14 weeks. They ran my credit card and were content keeping my money while they lied about having the furniture in stock. Do not buy from this store! read more

I would prefer "0" stars but that isn't an option. I will never purchase anything from Ashley Furniture again! We ordered a new bedroom suite and it took approximately 10 weeks before we received it. When it finally came, the headboard was cracked and there was no hardware included in the box to put the rails together. 2 weeks later, they delivered a new headboard and AGAIN, no hardware was included. We called their Customer Service number and was on hold for approximately 10 minutes before reaching someone. She stated that she would get an urgent message to the drivers to return to their store to get the hardware and then return to our home. She told us that we would receive a call back with an estimated time. Never received a call. We had to call back again and finally received someone who said they would schedule a visit for the next day. When the man came to put the bed together, the bed didn't come w/ the right amount of slats or hardware so he had to use some other pieces that he had w/ him on his truck. Needless to say, the whole experience was terrible and I will never step foot back in their facility. read more

After ordering and paying for our bed set from Ashley's a month and a half in advance, with a scheduled date set. The DAY BEFORE our delivery to our new apt, they inform us they do not have a foot board for our bed set. And it wouldn't be available until Monday (Friday was original delivery date). They delivered the rest of the set, in which we had to ASK for metal frame boards to sleep on temporarily. With multiple calls to confirm Monday would be the delivery date, which was confirmed multiple times by multiple people. Monday comes along, morning people saying Monday isn't going to happen...Tuesday is the for sure date. Later that day, we are told Thursday is the earliest it could be delivered. It amazes me of the inconsistencies that this place offers! They are a little understanding and make you feel they are at least concerned about your issues, however I don't understand how a corporation like this can not make arrangements to deliver a FOOT BOARD that is in stock ASAP that was already paid and due. It is as if managers have no control over ANYTHING! Is this how a company is supposed to be ran? I won't be purchasing anything anymore. ****UPDATE****6/26/18 After further efforts, Ashley's did correct the issue today and delivered our foot board and set up our bed set as promised. While I feel there was a lack of communication amongst workers, I am pleased they were able to correct the issue. I am more pleased with their service at this point for going through the efforts to correct their mistake. read more

Came to the store, asked if they had any couches in my price range, and was promptly led around to every couch that fit the bill by a very personable and talkative salesperson named Karin (who is no longer there--bummer.) If I could give this store a rating of 0 stars I would. I went in the store 3 different times to finally be able to purchase my couch. The salesman was busy when we came back in to make our final purchase and I decided to come back instead of waiting. When I went back I was helped by someone else I bought the couch, went to pick it up, get it home and it was missing the feet to the chase lounge. I have been on the phone since 10:30 this morning trying to get ahold of customer service. read more

We ordered a new bedroom suite in the beginning of December 2020 and received it in middle of February 2021. Last night we were sleeping and the slats broke and bed fell to ground (9 MONTHS we've had this suite.) I purchased the 5 year warranty and so I called customer service to report the damage. Two calls were dropped and the two Gentlemen I was finally able to talk with were hard to understand due to terrible Service on their end. I called today (11/23/21) and was informed parts will not come in until 1/4/22 to fix my bed. This is ridiculous. I paid significant amount for this suite, paid $329 for 5 year warranty, had to wait 2 months for suite to be delivered now I have to wait 6 weeks for parts to come to fix it. They informed me after parts arrive at my home I have to call to request technician and wait for when they have availability to come out. I will not be shopping with Ashley homestore again. read more

Ashely furniture was no doubt the first choice in Orange county for the home furniture and decoration. I got different furniture for the kitchen and living room, but still strongly recommend the Ashely furniture for the following three reasons (1) varieties for choice, in Ashley, you can find all the patterns of the furniture set from contemporary to classic, in that case, the homeowner can compare and make the wise choice for the theme of your room. (2) competitive price, Ashely definitely provide the price matching and have year-round deals and sales for your convenience, for example, I choose the furniture for the backyard furniture, master room, guest room, and living room at a different date this year but all got the best deals. (3) saving time. Choosing furniture is also a time-consuming task. I count Ashely own all the furniture wherein other stores, while other stores do not necessarily own the same furniture in Ashely. So I shop all the sets in Ashely, even for those I haven't yet made the determination to buy, I browse them in Ashely first and then found the alternative ones. Last but not least, as one of the largest furniture vendor, they provide full customer service from when you step into the store, and thereafter the shipping service, and technical staff to check out the furniture quality when called. I strongly purchase the warranty, for me, I got the 5 years warranty for a leather sofa set, which guarantee I can get the full set replaced by the new one once they are destroyed by the non-artificial reasons, awesome. read more

So frustrated and disappointed. Went to Ashley because my I thought I would get quality service and a quality product. After going through and finding a recliner that we loved. We ordered 2, then we were told it couldn't be delivered until the 6th. BUT they had another one (more expensive that could be delivered on the 30th! Great! After all is said and done I get a call from the delivery dept that the recliners wouldn't be delivered til the 31st. disappointed but ok. Now I get another call that they won't be delivered til the 4th. I'm out. I will go find my furniture somewhere else. I don't know if there is a disconnect or if the sales people just deliberately mislead the customers. Either way, I'll never shop or recommend this store. read more

I went to the Lancaster, PA store and dealt with Carl Burch. He asked what I was looking for, advised that I walk around the store to get an idea of what I liked and didn't, and then we looked together and found an amazing chair that I hadn't even considered, but LOVED. Carl was not pushy, was very knowledgeable, and when I told him I found the chair online for a lot less, (he could not beat the price) he then advised me to purchase online to save the money. I appreciated it because this meant no commission for him on a sale he helped create. read more

Went in yesterday after checking out Rooms To Go, looking for a bed for our little girl. We previously (3 years ago) purchased our sofa from Ashley and we still like it, so I figured it was worth a try. We went to the kids area (way better selection than RTG) and found a sales guy to help us. He was friendly, knowledgeable, no-pressure, and even gave us a discount because he had though the bed we were getting was "red tag." The whole process was fairly painless (even applying for credit). Awaiting delivery in about a week. We'll see how that goes. read more

Adding to the terrible service. 10 days later from cancellation and I have yet to receive my refund. Received a call to inform me of yet "another delivery delay" for an order I cancelled? I received a cancellation confirmation but it's still an active order? Have to go back in to the store to cancel this transaction again. Lee was the sales rep who "completed" sale and failed to complete cancellation. Beyond frustrated with the zero attention to customer care and satisfaction execution. Found a much better couch, price, and 1 week shipping at the store to the left of Ashley. Please go there. read more

I have told the representatives on many occasions to send paper statements. I have never received one in almost one year after telling them atleast once a month. Good thing I have a great memory! My promotion was up in May so a $77 interest charge has been added. I was told that they tried to notify me via email. I made my June payment on May 31st. Why wouldn't some one say this then? Especially since I have already told them plenty of times to send paper communications. I spoke with 4 different people. A customer service rep in Ohio tried his best to help and was very understanding. Unfortunately, his supervisor Melissa is not so empathetic. She did not take any fault at all. I even offered to pay off the entire balance right now in exchanged for waving the fee. I do not recommend financing furniture from this store. There are better options. read more

Still waiting... Purchased over $2000 worth of furniture. No delivery tracking available, initial delivery was over an hour late past window, the table didn't have all of the parts, the sectional sofa was the wrong configuration, and told I have to wait until the 26th to get the new stuff! I ordered on 10/11 in the store, and admittedly, I scheduled the initial delivery longer than necessary to fit my schedule, but didn't anticipate it taking another 3 weeks after the problem was discovered. No real willingness to help from the in-store customer service person other than to schedule the replacement. Don't think I will be back after this, and seriously considering tell them to keep it altogether. read more

Ashley having a 1 or 2 star rating on every website there is does not surprise me one bit. This has got to be one of the worst customer service I've ever encountered!! Me and my husband bought a couch from them weeks ago for our new home, a home that we told the guy we bought it from we were moving into in a few days after buying the couch. After waiting a couple of weeks we get a notification telling us we're getting the couch in a week and we were both very excited (we didn't know anything about this store before that) but then after about a week we get another notification telling us we won't be getting the couch in another 2 or 3 months!! Which was obviously shocking. My husband called and after quite some time finally got in touch with the store we bought it from and the same guy and he, very enthusiastically, tried to get us to get store credit instead of cancelling or some other crap like that which we obviously denied and said we just wanted a refund and here we are weeks later and still no refund!! So not only have we had to be in our new home for over a month with no couch AND had to go on another few week hunt for a new couch but they're also not refunding us and spouting some bull about things that they should be doing to get the refund through but are trying to tell us to do! Firstly, what kind of furniture store sells products they don't have in stock!? That is absolutely ridiculous! Secondly, who really thinks that people are willing to wait months for a new furniture!? Especially something as important as a couch! I don't know why I didn't bother to read reviews about this place before I bought from it and that was clearly a very big mistake! I don't think I've ever seen such bad reviews for any business! Ashley, at least here in Pflugerville and probably everywhere else, is a joke! We will never do our business with this company and I'll tell as many as I can to avoid this store altogether. What kind of business gets such horrible reviews but does nothing to change that!??? Ashley should and hopefully will go out of business in the end if they're not going to change their ways. Worst furniture store I've ever done business with. Do not shop at Ashley! If I could give it 0 stars I would, they don't even deserve the 1 star. read more

I went to the store on March 2 to place an order for a new bed and beside tables. They called me after I left to tell me the charge didnt go through and it needed to be done again. I checked my account online and verified that the charge did indeed go through. They called and harassed me for a week stating in needed to give them the card number so they could charge my card immediately or it will delay the delivery. I sent them proof that the payments were made........after 2 weeks of this insanity I told them to cancel the order. It has now been a month and I STILL have no refund and when I call the store I get sent to voicemail and no one calls me back. I tried calling their other support numbers and ultimately just get a run around. I cancelled the order AGAIN today (a month later) because it was not cancelled the first time. If you visit this store, make sure and speak with Zach! Excellent service, great to deal with!

So far, so good. Nick is excellent. If all salesmen were like him the profession wouldn't have such a slimy reputation. Friendly, informative, and not at all pushy. I went back today to exchange my entire order (it just doesn't look right in the space) and Nick got right on it. Even found a lower price for the new items I wanted. As others have noted, I've had some frustrations with the delivery process. Several delays, including one the morning of the delivery. Not sure why they have so much trouble delivering furniture, since they have their own delivery trucks/crew. Hopefully they won't give me too much of a run-around exchanging my original selection for the new items. If they do, I'm sure I'll feel compelled to adjust my rating. Cheers. read more

I order a dining room table over a month ago (Nov 12th) and was told it would be in within 2-5 weeks. The sales person Troy at the Southpark meadows locations has been the most helpful individual thus far. My delivery was scheduled for Dec 17th between 415pm-715 pm where the driver Randall failed to deliver stating I was not home. I did receive a call from an unknown number, no voicemail but the driver claimed to knock on my door and stated I wasn't home. I rearranged my entire day for this. Called customer care that moment who could not do much and I requested to speak with a supervisor who never called and I was supposed to receive a call within 10 minutes. Called again Monday and spoke with Mia for 45 mins who did refund my delivery and scheduled for Dec 23rd. Continued to receive text/calls to schedule my delivery, called again and spoke with Eddie who stated it was scheduled for Dec 23rd and it was just a glitch in the system. Received more text and calls about delivery and called again TODAY to find out it was NEVER RESCHEDULED for Dec 23rd. Rescheduled the delivery for Dec 30th and requested an email be sent to confirm. Still waiting for this as I called 30 minutes ago. At this point I will never purchase furniture from Ashley as this has been a terrible experience. Lets hope I get my table next week. Unfortunately, the experience with Ashley went south very quickly after ordering. Here's the unresolved saga so far (because I can't seem to find anyone who cares enough to actually fix the problem): * Ordered furniture on 10/24/2020 * 1st delivery occurred in late November with damages * Told us replacement would arrive end of December * Called back at end of December and they said first week of January * First week of January - moved from temporary housing to newly renovated Condo, did not reassemble damaged furniture as delivery was impending * Called back and they said Mid-January * Got appt to deliver on 1/23 * Arrived damaged on 1/23, didn't accept because it was so damaged * On 1/25 receive a call to schedule delivery on 1/28 * Received a phone call at 7:30am on 1/28 saying that they actually didn't have it (they were still trying to deliver the damaged one) so that it would be delivered on 2/4 * Received several contacts adjusting the deliver time window for 2/4, finally settling on 4:30-7:30 * Nobody called or showed up to deliver on 2/4 * Called on 2/5 and they "escalated" to the distribution center * Called again on 2/6 and they said it's scheduled for 2/13 (I din't believe them). She *swears* that all three parts (headboard, rails, footboard) are at the distribution center. * Yet again, 2/13 was a no-show, complete with text messages in the morning saying that they were delivering that afternoon. Called yet again, said that the "rails" weren't in stock and they had no idea when they would be. This is the second time they've said that all parts were at the distribution warehouse but apparently they actually weren't. Asked why they scheduled the delivery and the guy on the phone said he didn't know. Asked again why someone didn't call or text us that they weren't in fact going to deliver and again he said he didn't know. At this point, I think Ashley is just fucking with us and we'll never actually get our furniture.Yet again, 2/13 was a no-show, complete with text messages in the morning saying that they were delivering that afternoon. My wife and I recently bought a split-king (2 twin XL) mattress set with matching twin Sealy Ease adjustable bed frame bases from the Ashley store in Austin, TX at South Park Meadows. We spent over $5200 for the beds including (2) $80 mattress pads. Our salesperson Albert was quite helpful in guiding us through choosing a bed that fit our comfort level all the way to our final purchase. At the end he also told us we would have a $200 store credit for us to "use anywhere in the store" once we bought the bed set. After researching Ashley's offerings of headboards online that would fit our new bed, we decided to use that $200 credit towards buying a new headboard and went back to the store a couple days later to purchase it. On our first choice, we were told that one was discontinued, so we picked out another one that was similar and ordered it. So far - so good....no problems. The bed set was delivered and set up on-time, about a week ago. Yesterday the headboard arrived on-time as promised; I unpacked it from it's shipping box and went to work attaching the the leg extensions, which was easy. So today, trying to attach the headboard to the bed frames is where the problems started...there is NO WAY to attach these components because there is NO headboard attachment kit included with anything. In the owners manual that came with the adjustable bed frames, on page 12 it lists a "universal hardware kit" to do this job but it says it's an "optional" item. I spent over two hours on the phone trying to find one of these kits so I could finish putting my bed together, first with Albert at the Austin South Park Meadows store, who referred me to their distribution warehouse in New Braunfels, TX, who referred me to some customer service rep "wherever", and she actually hung up on me, to which I called that number right back and spoke to a rep named Vincent, who told me I'd have to call the Sealy company itself to order a headboard attachment kit myself. So in all total, we spent about $5500 at Ashley and have since got a complete runaround for a bed system that does not "go" together. I'm fairly pissed off that not one person in this whole sales process (and we had multiple Ashley SPM employees involved with this purchase) provided any information such as "Hey, you'll also need this kit to attach the headboard". It was apparently also a surprise to a few of the Ashley people I talked to on the phone today about my problem who said the universal mounting kit should have come WITH the headboard when it was delivered...but no joy there. As a result, my wife researched online and found a universal headboard mounting kit on Amazon which she bought but now we have to wait the 10 to 14 days before it's delivered to finish putting the beds together as they should be. Piss-poor all around Ashley....piss-poor! We're not ever going to shop your store again! read more

I purchased a couch and an accent table. Order number 130377260. I had quite a bad experience, if not probably the worst delivery experience I think I've ever had. When I purchased the furniture at the store the process went quite well, just had a really bad delivery experience. I live in San Francisco in A higher rise building with an HOA and a fair amount of elderly people. The delivery Occurred on Jan 14th 2021 and I had bought the cabinet and couch on Dec 6th 2020, so aabout a month. When the delivery drivers came, they parked in front of the building, they are supposed to park around the side of the building so they had to move it around to the side entrance where deliveries are taken. When they got the couch inside the HOA manager came over to call the elevator for us so we could use the elevator to get the couch up to my floor. When we were waiting, one of the delivery people were standing by the exit of the elevators with half of his mask off and one of the residents walked by and asked him if he could stand back because his mask wasn't fully on, and when she walked past him he said "some people are crazy eh" and then said some bad words in Spanish, the HOA manager looked over and rolled her eyes and the resident looked back at him and could tell he was being rude but she decide to let it go and carried on, I couldn't believe the lack of professionalism, and didn't know what to say at the moment, and it also put me in an awkward situation with the resident and HOA manager who I have since apologized to. When the elevator arrived the manager left, and two of the delivery men moved the first section of the couch into the elevator. They tilted it, however they didn't maneuver in a way that it would fit, they gave it literally about 30 seconds of an attempt and then said it in a definitive tone that It wouldn't fit and decided to start walking back out of the elevator, and yes.... it was literally less than 30 seconds of trying. I came over and looked as they started to back it out of the elevator and could see that there was ssapce, they just needed to rotate the couch. So as they started to back it out I said please just rotate it because there space there if you out it in that way, I am saying this as the main delivery guy is telling his partner to take photos, I assume to show their manager that it "wasn't fitting" I could Cleary see that there was space they weren't using and just needed to rotate the couch. The delivery guy said "no no it won't fit" and after they took a second to take a photo started to back it out of the elevator as I was pleading with them, "wait, just rotate it and it will fit, that's all you need to do, why not at least try it so you don't have to come back again?" As I was pleading with them to please just rotate it they were saying no both of us were getting annoyed. When they got the couch back out and partway into the garage area they placed it down couch down to go open the gate to the garage I said don't worry, I will just do it myself so I pulled the couch several feet back to the elevator on my own and rotated it and fit it in the elevator as they watched and didn't lift a finger to help. I got the couch in and took it up to my floor, off loaded it and when I came back down the main delivery guy was there in my face (with half of his mask off again) asking me to sign for it, I remember that the sales person had told me not to sign for it until it was in my apt, so I said not I am not signing for half a couch and no cabinet. The box for my cabinet that they had off loaded was in the garage so I picked it up and carried it into the elevator and the delivery guy followed me into the elevator as I am holding the box and said to sign for it and I said "no I am not signing for half a couch" he then puffed up his chest and put his hands on the box and tried to take it away, luckily I had a good grasp of it so it didn't go anywhere, in that one second as he was puffing up his chest and trying to pull the box I thought this guy might actually try to fight me for the box so started to loosen my grip and wasn't about to fight over this, but as I let go he thankfully walked away. As the doors closed and the elevator moved up to my floor I realized how worried I was that this guy might actually do something. I didn't know what to do, so dropped off the box and came back down and was going to tell them to leave when the elevators door opened again they had the second half of the couch ready to go into the elevator so I stood to this aside as they fit the second piece in, as they were fitting it in I pushed the cushion on the couch so it would fit in easier and they said please let us do our job... Ironic that now they wanted to do their job and he was again being rude. This isn't even the half of dealing with what I am going though trying to get a these items exchanged, I have way more to share but Im limited in what I can write but its been terrible! read more

Went into Ashley looking for mattresses. I bought a sterns and foster king sized mattress but told the sales associate that my delivery address and billing address were going to be different because I have bought a new home but not currently living there as of right now. My billing address was supposed to be in Charlotte NC and my delivery address to be in Wilmington NC. I was told that there wasn't an Ashley HomeStore in Wilmington and that it would usually be a $200 delivery fee, but that the fee would be waived. Then I was told the mattress couldn't be delivered until a week and a half from the purchase date because a truck wasn't going to be going to Wilmington until that time. I was also told that I would get a phone call 2 days before delivery to schedule a delivery time. Well a week and a couple days later, I have received no phone call to schedule delivery so I called customer service which informed me that the delivery fee has not been waived and the delivery address they have is my Charlotte NC address. Then I am told that even if we talk to the sales associate that told me he would waive the fee, and we get it all figured out I still will not have my mattress delivered this week to the correct address. I would not shop here again if they paid me to. read more

Finally they said someone had to try to fix the couch - took day off to be home during time range given - and as expected they too said the couch would need to be replaced. 3 more months have gone by - calls - stated commitments to get new couch delivered - yet nothing. The local store you buy from is NO help at all. All they do is tell you delivery is set but they have no idea - just want to get you off the phone so they can make their next sale. I cannot tell you how much this has been a one sided attempt at resolution. I don't know what to do anymore. Please take this into consideration before shopping at Ashley! read more

I have reached out to the store on multiple occasions and have not received a call back. This has been going on for almost 4 weeks. My sales person will not call back nor the manager. I have requested to return my furniture to you as the quality is not there for the cost. Also what the worst part was is when I finally got a copy of all my invoices I was in my opinion way over charged for delivery which was $700. Why is it when I come into the store to buy you are all over me but when there is a problem no one wants to help. read more

DO NOT purchase the warranty protection plan. The warranty company used does not honor any issue covered under the plan.

Updated March 4; spoke to Ashley's several days ago and they gave me a store credit. Customer service was good, but my complaint on the sofa cushions still stand. I just wish all sofa manufacturers would add a large pieces of heavy duty Velcro on the bottom of cushions to avoid all cushion slide ---- Updated on Feb 25 no contact yet from store. So what do you make of this? Here is Ashley's response to me on feb 12- "Comment from Ashley F. of Ashley HomeStore Business Owner 2/12/2018 Good Morning Jeanne, Thank you very much for your feedback. It is unfortunate we were unable to meet your expectations. We have located your records. We will be contacting you soon. Our interest is to address your situation and count on you as one of our satisfied customers. 2/12/18" ------ Updated on Feb 20: Ashley's responded to my review saying they were going to contact me but I haven't heard from them yet. I will keep all of you updated on their customer service. ------- Original review: Not quite 2 years ago I purchased the Baveria sofa and love seat from South Austin store. Let me fill you in on this set before you spend your hard earned money on it The cushions!!!!! scoot your butt for comfort get ready to "straighten" the cushions when you get up. Go ahead and watch your favorite tv show only to get up for something to drink in the kitchen and know what you need to do when you stand up and you wish you weren't thirsty, yep push those cushions back onto the couch. Bathroom time on the commercial break. First straighten and push those cushions back on again. Yawn time for bed, wait before I go upstairs one last time push the cushions back on the couch. These darn things slide with the slightest movement! Do not purchase this set really! I am warning you. I don't have expendable income to buy worthless furniture. I am exhausted every time I use it. I had a gut feeling to buy a Broyhill again but nooooo I didn't listen. I saw Baveria and liked the look. Now I want a new sofa because of this and it isn't going to come from this store. I should have written this review a couple months after purchase. I am interested to hear other stories of this happening to others with this sofa or love seat or any other from Ashleys so please post your butt scooting cushion stories. Ashley, if you are reading this review don't tell me you can't find my order because that is BS. Look up partial name and you'll find it along with date of purchase (may 2016 approx) Jeanne Sci****** read more
