The customer service here is phenomenal. I gave the store a call after leasing a new apartment and spoke to Darci. She was super friendly. I set up an appointment and went in a few hours later. When I showed up she introduced her self and walked me through their promotions. I decided to do financing. The credit approval process took all of 5 minutes. She walked me around the store and we talked about what I would need to furnish my apartment. She was really patient (even though I got there an hour before closing) and was full of good furnishing ideas. And (most importantly) she wasn't pushy!!!! A few days later I decided I wanted to add lamps to my order. I went back and she took care of me again. I'll definitely be back for future furniture purchases. Give Ashley and Darci a call! read more

STOP! What you are doing. LOOK! At this post. Listen! To my experience. Don't let this happen to you. Ashley Furniture is a Fraud. They are the biggest lie for a retailer I have ever dealt with. They make crappy furniture that looks really good. It looks of good quality, but it is not. Their warranty sucks you in. You have no alternative but to have service performed. But you wait forever for parts and scheduling. The only reason I rated them 1 star was I had to or I could not post this warning to unsuspecting consumers. Please take a moment for me to share with you how shameless they truly are. The end of July 2019 my wife & I shopped for furniture at Ashley Furniture, Pflugerville, TX. We bought 2-bedroom sets & a leather recliner. I am a big man, 375 lbs. We specifically asked if the recliner would have the weight baring capacity to hold me. We were told yes. We even purchased an extended warranty. After 6 months the recliner failed. My weight caused the recliner to buckle and the left side of the leg lift would not function. I called Ashley Feb. 28, 2020 and initiated a service claim. I was told that parts would not be available until May. I told them I felt that was unacceptable. The Customer Service Rep stated she would expedite my service claim and I would be contacted within a week to schedule service. Two weeks went by and no call back, I called again & spoke with another customer service rep, who stated that the first rep had done nothing to order parts or schedule service. She apologized & stated she would expedite the service. Again, I was told the best-case scenario was service at the end of May. I finally received the repair parts the 1st week of May. I contacted Ashley; they said the 3rd party repair service would contact me within a week. They contacted 2 weeks later & scheduled service for 2 weeks after that. Finally, June 3, 2020, my service technician showed up. I asked him the weight baring capacity of my recliner. He said 250lbs. I told him my weight. I asked if he repaired it, would this happen again. He stated he thought it would. I asked if I had the recliner replaced would this happen. He stated it would. I asked his opinion & he stated that I could refuse service. He told me he notated our conversation & said Ashley would review & get back to me. I asked what he thought would happen. He said he thought they would take care of me. I have had to wait until, June 12 for Ashley to tell me that service was the only option I had. They stated that since I refused service at the time the tech was here, they are closing out the service request at this time. I can reinstate the service request, but more parts are needed to be ordered. After almost 4 months. This is unreasonable. I just want my money back so I may purchase the correct product. But I feel I am being forced to work through service. Clearly this is the wrong product for me. I reinstated the service claim June 15th & parts were ordered, which came in the second week of July. The second part came in, which was a cross board on the recliner to support my legs. The board is about an 1.5" thick. The board was to be mounted under the leg lift. Two service technicians came out Wednesday, July 29th to repair what they could on my recliner. The support board was mounted on top of the leg lift. This causes a new problem as mt calves lay across it & my feet dangle to the end. This cuts off the blood flow to my feet. I'm diabetic. I don't believe lack of blood flow in my feet is health, unless I want to lose a foot or two. I asked again about the weight baring capacity which I was told again it was 250lbs. I asked wouldn't the same issue occur. They stated it would. I have now had the recliner in a repaired state for about 2 weeks. I have been forced to go out & purchase the correct item for my specific need, this cost me an additional $1450.00. Please enjoy the pictures of my newly repaired recliner. As you can see, the foam is falling out the bottom of the leg lift. The foam is just stuffed in there it is not a smooth application of the foam. Lastly, the fabric with a zipper attached to it is torn. The zipper is off its track. My question is, do I really want to request service again after waiting the original 5 months. My advice to you is run away before you get caught up in their terrible hype. read more

I wish I could give "no" stars! This is the worst place to get furniture, do not go here, once I started to complain about Ashley to my friends, EVERYONE had a similar story! First off, their delivery process is ridiculous, they will take it off their schedule if you do not call them back right away and then they change the time frame 5 times before they deliver. When trying to get a replacement of a damaged table, their truck "broke down" and did not call to let me know not to wait any longer, so we had to reschedule for another 2 weeks out and that one was damaged as well. We have moved over 2 months ago and still don't have a good table. I have called multiple time and a manager has not called me back yet. Please do yourself a favor and just get all your furniture from RC Rilley, they are also cheaper on delivery charges! read more

EDIT: From 1 star to 4 stars. I had a very bad experience with Ashley Furniture customer service after a delivery mix up, I posted a review regarding it and was contacted by Ashley Furniture and they went very far out of their way to make the situation right. I am very happy now and it was nice to see a company do actual service recovery! It took a while to get things sorted out, but at least if you are persistent they will make it right. read more

Let me start off by saying I'm not the type of person to go around posting negative reviews but enough is enough with this one... - June 1, 2020: purchased a coffee table online. - June 3, 2020: It got to me very quickly even during the pandemic which I was more than excited about. Opened up the table to find scratches on the top of the table and just punctured holes in one of the table legs where I was suppose to place the screws. There were no grooves to hold them. My fiancé thought I was crazy but, alas. Couldn't get the table together. -June 4, 2020: first call to their customer service line that said it may take up to 4-5 business days to get a reply due to Covid. Tried to contact via email as well. -June 12, 2020: Finally get a call back from them. My fiancé and I thoroughly explained our issue and how we needed a new top and table leg. A week and a half later we received nuts and bolts in the mail. -June 24-July 17, 2020: multiple calls placed. No responses. I'm beyond upset with their customer service. I understand we are in a pandemic but I've had this box sitting in my living room since June 3rd. I WANT A REFUND. I'm hoping this will get some attention by somebody at Ashley Furniture to amend this situation... read more

Zero star if possible. At the time of sale they will lure you into buying the insurance but the insurance company is totally fake. We asked them to clean our sofa because it got some stains. On the day of the service the person from the company just took the pictures nd went back like it was clear that wouldn't provide any service and it's just a formality. After that they simply reject your claim without any reason. Ashley is hand in glove with this insurance companies. This is all a big time scam. read more

Horrible customer service. They walk around with ipads to let you know if the item you want to purchase is available. After they get your money then it is a delay after delay. It has been 3 months since my items were originally going to delivered. Be aware if the old bait and switch the sales people give you! read more

Worst customer service ever!! I bought a queen bed frame on July 29th with delivery August 1st. I received bed frame but no slats for the bed so unusable. Talked to customer service that day and "best" they could do was order parts to come to my house in 7-10 business days then I could call them back and set up appointment for technician to come and finish installation. After ten business days with nothing showing up I called to check on the parts. Nothing showed having been sent! Nothing enroute! After much talking they finally agreed to send pieces needed from their warehouse. I asked several times if they had all the different parts that was needed, that I had sent them pictures of. that was missing and they said yes. Today August 19th I finally had delivery of parts that 3rd party company put together on my bed frame. Still missing two parts! Unable to use drawers in footboard. Talked to "customer service " again. Now have to wait at least two to 3 weeks for missing parts. "Best they can do". Paid $100 for "white glove delivery". Worst company ever! read more

Jason was awesome! He helped my mom and I pick out some beautiful furniture. Can't wait to see how the house turns out.

i wish I had read the reviews thoroughly before having anything to do with this company. My experience with purchasing my new mattress and adjustable bed frame was fine. My problems began with the delivery of the items. When the driver turned up, i asked him multiple times if he should cover my new flooring before bringing the items inside. He insisted that it was not necessary as the bed frame was in a cardboard box. They struggled with the item and ended up damaging two of my stairs and took an additional chunk out of the base board. When I confronted him with this, he lied and tried to make out that I had damaged the stairs myself. While still trying to resolve the issue, can you believe that the driver just drove off. Absolutely rude and disgusting behavior. Now trying to get someone to deal with this complaint about the damage is another story in itself. You call customer service and sit on hold for 30 minutes every time. According to them, there is no other direct number that you can call. Once you get through you give the details and then no one calls you back. This is now 2 weeks after the incident. i have called 4 times plus went back to the store where I purchased the item. The store gave me an alternate number which they say is to get through to corporate, but you just get routed through the same 30 minute wait customer service. In addition while explaining to one of the customer service people that this is very frustrating, she also hung up in the middle of me talking. I guess the driver knew that he could just drive away as there would not be any repercussions. The 1 star is only for the people in the store, otherwise I would say zero stars for this whole experience. read more

I ordered a server on 9/6/21 and was told it would be ready in 2023!!! The manager told me that was a mistake and just a number put in the computer. It actually got delivered on 10/30/21...with three flaws of which one is I can hardly close the door without slamming it shut; also a chip in the shelve; and finger prints on top. Juan (the delivery guy) took a picture and called it in. OK, here's where their Customer Service deserves 0 stars. It is the worst Customer Service I have ever encountered...ever!!!! I understand things are slower due to covid, but to get the same recording no matter what phone number you call is utterly ridiculous and unacceptable. I have saved every note and noted the date and name of every person I have spoken to which adds up to 19 phone calls and this does not include about 4-5 that I had to hang up on because I couldn't understand them because the connection was so garbled. The recording goes to a call center, where most of the connections are poor at best (they are probably working from home...I get that). The automated recordings would say 5-7 weeks for my item one time and the next time it would say 20-23 weeks, then 7-9 weeks and so on! I was told by several people to expect it in July of 2022. That would be 9 months from the time a replacement was ordered, when it took only 2 months for the first one to arrive. I was about to cancel the exchange and just have it repaired, but was told if I did that, I could not get an exchange. The 3 finger prints on top (where apparently someone touched it before the stain dried) is the main reason for the exchange because that item couldn't be repaired. Anyway, I wanted to think about this for a day or two and good thing I did. Wouldn't you know it, two days later I get a text that my server could be delivered in two weeks!!!! This was after I was told it would be in July! That text was a whole other issue. I called and got the call center and told them I wanted it inspected before my time...and their time was wasted. OK, we are all set for delivery on 1/15/22 between 2:15pm-5:15pm and after confirming it with two different people on 1/14/22 and once via text...I get a call later that afternoon and nope, it's not being delivered the next day . Apparently they can't locate the server. Whether it's there for inspection or not at that location at all, she couldn't tell me. She then rescheduled for the next week (today) and I have yet to get a text and/or a call, and yet the call center tells me it's on the delivery list. I tell her that's what they told me last week. I guess I will now have to get in my car and drive 45 minutes to the store and I will talk to the manager and let the people around me in the store hear my story. I will bring all my paperwork with all my notes so they can see all MY trouble with Ashley's very NON-Customer Service. I will say that everyone I actually talked to on the call center, was pleasant, just not able to give me exact information. Update: I got a text this morning saying my item was on it's way for delivery with an url that I can track the delivery status. I click on the url and got RESPONSE 404...unable to locate, Server not found or removed!!!! So again, I call the call center and got a nice fellow who told me "yes, it's set for 1:30-4:30pm. I told him I want to know for sure if my server is on that truck. He sends me an email that says my order is schedule for 1:30pm-4:30pm and I am number 3 in line. It also says that they are at that location now!!! This is at approximately 10:30am. I tell him there is no truck out front and he refers me to a map that shows where the truck is...on 195 about 5 minutes from my house. I hang up with fingers crossed and lo and behold, two minutes later there's a knock on the door...Ashley Furniture!!!! The delivery guys are very nice, but Geez...what an ordeal!!! Beware after you leave the store... read more

bought my furniture back in May. They obviously run your credit. Scheduled delivery was 6/25. We got a call two weeks after we purchased and they said that our couches wont be available till August. Anyways he resolved the issue and said that he reversed delivery date to 6/25...fast fwd i got a call saying my furniture scheduled for delivery on Wednesday 7/1 so i emptied my living room and was ready. No one showed up and no one called. I got another msg saying my new delivery date is scheduled in 7/7 and part of my couches WILL NOT be available till August 5th!!! Horrible experience horrible customer service horrible sales department!!! They don't communicate with you and do not answer emails or phone calls! Worst buying experience EVER Working with Ashley HomeStore has been the most terrible experience. I originally ordered a sectional and it was delivered the wrong way. I ordered a right side Chaise and it came with a left side Chaise. I returned the sectional and reordered it again. It was delivered for a second time in the WRONG COLOR. Two times ordered and two times it was wrong. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated in the entire experience. Well sadly my previous review for Ashley Home store is no longer valid. While the shopping experience was fantastic, every other aspect has been awful. The delivery, handles missing from the TV stand, and now a broken couch. We ordered an entire living room set and within 5 months of having our couch, the support board on it broke in two. Just from regular use. We filed a claim on 12/1/20 since we paid extra for the coverage, and we have not heard back from the company and have not been able to reach anyone by phone or email. Terrible customer service. read more

Do not buy furniture form here. The furniture is of poor quality and is not worth the price. I had bought a leather sectional less than 2 years ago. The seats have started sinking already and uncomfortable to sit on. One would expect a better quality for the high price paid.Their protection warranty that they sell with the product is a joke and doesn't cover any product issues like my issue. They don't stand by their products. Their customer support wants me to pay $80 per hour for the technician to come and fix the issue! Terrible products and equally terrible service. read more

I boutht a couch and was told it was in stock and would be delivered in one week and they will call me to confirm a time but never got a call. I called back again and this time they told me it's out of stock and it would'nt be delivered for 2 months. I should of read all the other reviews. Same problem with a lot of the other customes. We purchased several items from Ashley Furniture(btw, some of the same items they have currently at their store, I have seen in Big Lots). One being the Ashley mattress brand. When we tried it out is seem to be comfortable, after a couple of months a back pain every morning I decided to call and ask how we go about exchanging it. I was informed that there are only certain brands that qualify and the Ashley brands are not one of them. It would have been nice to know that at the time of purchase because now I'm stuck with a king size mattress that hurts our back every morning. So just heads up, the mattress looks the same is a lot cheaper then the brand names, but choose carefully because you can't return it. read more

A lot of fighting amongst the sales team. Store manager or sales manger will not call, email or talk to you. We were told our sofa would be delivered on a Monday between 7:30-10:30am. I took off work to be there and moved furniture to accommodate the delivery. They never showed up. I spoke to 3 different people only to get three different answers. I requested to speak to the store manager and the lady at south park meadows said she didn't know his name. She told me she would have the sales manager call me. No call. 3 days later the salesman calls me to let me know the manager decided they wouldn't do anything about them not showing up but could have delivered in two weeks. I requested a refund on the 69.99 delivery charge and David the sales manager said no because it was a glitch in the system and they did everything right on there end but some how I still have no sofa. I bought most of my home furniture from Ashleys since 2013, I bought a whole set of bedroom furniture from Ashleys that includes a Queen bed frame, box, good quality mattress, dresser, night stands and a dining table. I trashed almost everything except my bedroom furniture which I paid, bad quality wooden sticks glued over bed frame, night stands and dresser which are getting off by now. I am super upset about this garbage and wasted my money. Would never ever buy anything from Ashleys. Actually, it's not even wood, it's cardboard kind of thing. read more

While I had no issues with the price and selection of furniture, the absolutely horrid customer service over the phone was borderline inexcusable, even during a pandemic. Don't tell me I'll have an opportunity to leave a message for a returned call to completely fail to deliver on that and hang up on me after staying on hold for over 20 minutes. Fix your incoming call system, it's archaic and doesn't work as advertised. Also, you should really consider making it more clear on what types of foundations and supports best fit which bed frame models. I ordered slats for a frame assuming it would work as a foundation, only to find I wasted $100 bucks because your site said they'd work (and they won't for the particular bed in question). Get your website, phone system, and overall computer systems fixed. Come on, you're a multimillion-dollar corporation. Spend a little to keep the damn lights on. **Edit: After leaving this review, Ashely got in contact with me and made things right. So during this pandemic even the most experienced eCommerce business has experienced some issues. But when furniture stores think they can "just switch to online only" we are screwed. The item was wrong, I have 72 hours to request a refund "for any reason" in the fine print. The phone, email, online chat communications all ended the same way... "we will contact you within 72 hrs". Sure...NOT. The next message was "we will contact you between 72 and 92 hrs". So needless to say that never happened. BTW the furniture quality is cheap, and the stuff feels small... or is it that my house feels huge? No, quarantine has made that impossible! So, don't believe them, go to the store and order, and pray that you get what you ordered!! Really, go somewhere else!! read more

I went to Ashley Home Store Southpark Meadows in Austin today at 1200 to be met at the front door by the manager (Dave or David) whom asked if I had an appointment. When I told him I was not aware of needing to have an appointment he asked what I was looking for and he would find out if there was a salesperson to assist me. Funny thing is there were two sales associates standing outside with the manager smoking, which I assume is more important than customer service. I understand that we live in different times however, when having several employees outside taking a break is more important than customer service, I will take my business elsewhere. Where has customer service gone these days? read more

Worst customer service ever! They have sales associates and store associates who answer calls, hear your request, tell you they would take care of it and never do anything about it. I ordered a bedroom set and they kept pushing out the delivery dates. I had to call and ask them 6 times to get some action on the delivery. Every time, someone would talk like they were feeling sorry and was going to assist, and I would hang up phone hoping for some action. But I would never hear back from them. I purchased a chair, couch and love seat for over $2100 and when I returned with a truck to pick up the chair the sales associate told me that he had to remove a plastic leveler off of MY char that I had already paid for to replace it on another chair that was sold the same day. I was told they would get me the part the next day and after calling 11 times over a 3 week time period I am being told that the chair was sold as is and unfortunately they can't let me return the chair or get me the part that they removed from my chair after I paid for it. I have spent more than 4 hours on hold over the past 3 weeks attempting to get this part and the only person they direct me to is the sales person, Lee, who apparently only works on Fridays and refuses to call me back. I will never be shopping here again and would advice anyone against shopping at any Ashley Furniture since their corporate office refuses to take care of the situation.
