Kudos to Doc at Ashley's Home store! He not only helped my husband and I with the recliner we were looking for but made sure we felt safe in the store with him. He was kind, patient knowledgable and all around a great sales associate. He represents the Ashley brand very well. We went in for ONE recliner and came out with a whole leather living room set. read more

Had a wonderful experience and want to take the time to say a huge thank you to James Clark. He had the patience to deal with my million questions and let's not forget my indecisive decision making! After 2 days many hours later, my living room furniture was finally ordered. I highly recommend him... Eeeek, but after reading all the reviews! I hope I get my furniture in Dec.! read more

NO SALE I have found a headboard online, at time to order they wanted over $65 to do so (but offer free shipping, not on this item) I decide let me call to see if a store has it, no one for days answers - neither on chat. Then the item is no longer for sale online, so I try READY 3 stores NO ONE ANSWERS the phone. BAD BAD I question how are they in business read more

I don't even know where to start. I've read most of these reviews and wish I had done so before I chose to do business with Ashley Furniture. This of course is just another trail of tears and frustration to add to the disappointment they have consistently brought to their customers. There are sooo many companies that would love to have your business and do right by you and your money --- SAVE YOURSELF AND GO ELSEWHERE! We thought we were getting a great deal placing an order for a dining room table during one of their semi-annual sale times. When we paid for our items we were told that they were in stock and could be delivered within two weeks. I was over the moon with joy. All I wanted was to have my items by Christmas for a nice family dinner. Within two weeks of paying for my order, I received a call informing me that my items were now on backorder and the delivery would be on Dec 30th. NOTE: This is a tactic I've noted on many other reviews so BEWARE. They get you in the door, take your money and then wait a few weeks to let you know you're not actually going to get your stuff. So I tried to keep positive thinking at least I would have the table for a nice New Years' dinner at home with my family. My spidey senses were tingling around Christmas time and I decided to give them a call to make sure my delivery time frame was still on target for Dec 30th. During that call, I was then told that my furniture had been pushed to January 30th. So here we are in January and yet again my intuition told me to give them a call. My order has now been pushed to February 27th!!!!!! Mind you they have not been providing me with updates as the date changes; I keep having to call them. I regret the day I ever walked into this store--I've been consistently disappointed and out of money with no furniture to show for it. I just want my money back so I can move on. I don't want to be patient anymore. I feel like I've been robbed. If you're out there and you happen to be on the fence about using Ashley Furniture, please don't do it -- believe the reviews and go somewhere else. There are furniture stores that can give you accurate information about what they have in stock AND can deliver within a reasonable time (even during these COVID times!). read more

Terrible delivery experience with Ashley HomeStore. Delivery company owner is Juan Valencia. See video here: https://youtu.be/F9jOFWWYsm4 They were moving very quickly and I had not had a chance to talk with him. I shouted hey to get his attention and he started yelling and stated that they were not going to deliver the couch. After a heated argument in the street they did end up delivering the couch. Abysmal service. The video was caught by my Ring motion detection and unfortunately cuts off before the argument in the street. read more

Worst service ever! Ashley has scheduled delivery with us four times and have not shown up. They refuse to fix the problem. They have taken our money, but not given us our furniture. They were supposed to be here this morning at 6:45 a.m. They called me five times yesterday to confirm and now tell us that we are not on their delivery schedule. My first and last time purchasing from them! read more

NEVER GO TO THIS STORE FOR FURNITURE!! We have been waiting on a simple desk for over 2 months because the THREE other desk they have brought us have all been broken. The staff is incredibly rude and does not care to help you whatsoever. They hung up on me multiple times and also refused to give me a refund after spending almost $2000 in the store. HORRIBLE STORE AND WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I don't post reviews but these ***holes deserve the worst. Now I'm stuck with the worlds most expensive broken desk, great. Update: a new desk showed up yesterday. Guess what!? BROKEN. Awesome, desk #4 by the way. They have now posted on my review asking me for my info which they have and a store which is obviously the store I put the review under...at this point why would you even want to deal with this kind of store? Save yourself a problem and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Posting this in every review site possible. read more

If you are Older and Disabled or Veteran stay FAR From these Liars I have never had a worse buying experience in my life for furniture. The shipping date keeps changing. I have been literally lied to at least 6x. The Algonquin store is useless. Don't even think about getting a call back when you have issues. Cancelled an item TWICE and they still delivered it. Call the main line and the reps tell you they cannot do a thing, that I have to go into the store. Meaning once again I have to find a driver and get help. They say all I can do is call the sales guy Eric. He's is useless and doesn't care. Not a peep after several requests for him to call me. Liar. For a disabled Sr. Veteran this is unacceptable. I cannot move the carton! It sits on the front porch after 3 days! And they have been told every time I am disabled. Get this...they delivered it while I was IN THE Hospital DURING SURGERY AND TELLING THEM NO ONE WOULD BE HOME! I get home and there is a HUGE partial shipment on my porch that weighs a couple hundred lbs! The CANCELLED ORDER! After spending countless hours on the phones I keep getting more promises of false delivery dates for the other stuff. They refuse to let me cancel unless I can walk into the store. Each time they promise yet again they will 'call back' within 2 hours and guess what? They NEVER call! Not unless I call the company number and force them to send a message. They delivered 4 chairs and not the table. Its been months. Salesman Eric NEVER once called back after several requests. Manager Karen lied several times. I had to get a ride and hobble through an almost empty store to only get them to LIE again to my face. This was AFTER trying to reach Karen as I stood there leaning on the counter while she was texting! Seriously? You have someone standing there barely able to stand to begin with and shes just texting away like no one was there! Most companies have a no phone policy. Especially when the store has only 5 or 6 cars in the lot! And why do they continually lie? Once delivered they refuse to take it back due to COVID. YET they had no issue walking it INTO the house when delivered. Chairs have never been sat on! There is NO TABLE TO SIT AT! SO what they are doing is LYING on delivery dates because once they drop it? NO RETURNS! Even when I cancelled an order they STILL dropped it off and refuse to allow it to be returned! It never came into the house! Now they tell me I'm STUCK with it all! It is a shame because every time they say "Did you read the contract when you bought it? I said there were 5 pages! And they assured me it could be returned! I was actually told by the service rep that salespeople lie and I should never believe them! THAT is the quality of people you hire? No wonder the reviews are catastrophic! Every store policy is deliberately set up to protect them and totally screw the customer. So it does not matter if you are older, disabled, etc.... they refuse to help you at all! ANY Veteran and their family should boycott this place. Any Senior should avoid them like the Plague. Anyone who is disabled will be lied to and screwed because now I have to pay someone to get this thing in my house because they refuse to take it back after it should have NEVER been delivered! OR chairs that have never been sat on because they cannot get the table here and refuse to send the floor model they have! Unethical. Sleazy. Liars, the whole lot of them. I will be leaving as many poor reviews all over the web to warn people to avoid being legally robbed and treated like trash. read more

Item delivered not when was scheduled and promise. No one contact you to inform I called and was told item will be delivered in 30 days. Ok, i was upset because same item in different sites can delivered earlier, but I thought Ashley was well known that o did it with them. For my surprise in 10 days after the first date of delivery I received a delivery, Wrong item!! Than I have to do all process for exchange several phone calls etc. They told me after received item they will delivered the correct one. I wait patiently until I call and they told me item is going to be there today, i didn't received item. Another call next day and was told item is on the way. I received item, item was DAMAGED, again process of return. Oh now I have called three times for my refund and who knows when I will get my money back. read more

Ashley Store - Top of dresser - Furniture Stores Near Me - Austin, Texas

definitely don't recommend!!! They don't value their customers, bad customer service, way over priced. We had furniture delivered and paid for the premium shipping and installation, well a week later the boxes are still sitting on our bedroom floor and they claim "we're missing pieces that needed to be purchased". We spent over $6,000 at this store, and regret every penny. read more

Poor experience all the way around. Worst customer service. Would never recommend dealing with this company.

Salesperson - 5/5 (JAV) Delivery service - 0/5 Damaged my new wooden floor, delivery guy left a hanging tool under the furniture. They delivered damaged furniture 3 times. No inspection done on furniture that is getting delivered.Still waiting on one of the piece to be delivered without any damage. Customer service - 2/5 They dont take responsibility of the furniture delivered nor the delivery. No inspection done on furnitures even after asking multiple times. I would only recommend Ashley if you can pick the furniture yourself. read more

I ordered an oversized recliner so I could sit together with my wife of 25 years when watching TV at night. I ordered it in time to receive it for Mother's Day. The day of delivery (1 day before Mother's Day) they called and left a message to say it was damaged and they, wouldn't be delivering it. They said a replacement would be ordered and delivered by the end of the following week. I called to see what the damage was and asked if I could have it delivered while I wait for the replacement. They couldn't tell me what was wrong, said only a manager cold make a decision on my request, and they wouldn't be in until a few days later on Tuesday. I asked when the new one would be in and they now told me it wouldn't be here until June 12. I then asked to cancel the order and they told me I had to call another number. I called the number the gave me, waited on hold for 20 minutes, and then was told I had to call another number. I was then transferred and waited on hold for another 30 minutes to finally get it cancelled. Funny how ordering it only took 5 minutes but cancelling it took over an hour between all the calls. This is not the first time that I have had delivery issues with Ashley, but it will be the last. Their furniture is not the best quality, nor the best price, and this just adds more pain to the whole experience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these idiots. They have now grown too big to care about their customers anymore. It's all about making a sale, giving the customer the runaround, and in the end delivering poor product. Customer service is no help when you're frustrated either! This company sucks! read more

4 star for the Salesman because he was NICE, HELPFUL and followed up with me and had lots of knowledge if not I would NOT give them any stars but rather NEGATIVE STARS for the store and their AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! Initial purchase on 12/07/2019 I go in and spend $3,255.00 on dining table set and some end tables for my living room. Delivery is broken up into 2 dates since some items are on back order I understand that and say OK that's not a problem. First Delivery comes in on 12/20/2019 its my buffet server, table, bench, chairs and only one wing back chair since the other one is on back order along with my four stools for my island in my new home. My mother is home to help me out with first delivery since I like most people have to WORK to pay for this furniture. I get home to look at my furniture and table has chips all over it also missing wood on surface top, bench has deep gashes, chairs are not put together and are all kinds of flimsy and middle piece on one chair the wood is cracked and broke. One end table has scratches all over the top and missing stain on one leg. I call the Customer Service # and they want to send a tech out to address the issues above, I tell them this isn't repairable so I have to send pictures via email to customer support for them to verify. I call back to make sure they receive pics of furniture. They then confirm with me that the furniture is all damaged after being sent all over the place with transfer of call within customer service. They set up a EXCHANGE for the date of all the damaged pieces which was almost all the first delivery minus one end table and the buffet server so I have two pieces of satisfactory furniture. Fast forward to second delivery for the rest of my initial purchase which was scheduled for 01/06/2020 between 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. mind you I got an email to notify me of the delivery. I take off from work half day and NOBODY shows up to deliver anything, I call customer service and told that they are sorry for not calling to tell me anything but delivery was moved to 01/25/2020 since items are still on back order. I ask to talk to manager but supposedly no manager available and they would call me back but NO CALL BACK. I then get another email for the EXCHANGE for my first delivery which is scheduled for 01/11/20 at 4 p.m.-7 p.m. I take off work half day again and delivery arrives at 6:15 p.m. and they notify me upon arrival that the end table that is in packaging is CRACKED and they cant exchange anything on the order since its all on one ticket. So they call customer service and explain to me that they have to take it all back. They call me back 01/13/20 and tell me that they can reschedule the EXCHANGE for the 01/25/2020 date since the second part of the initial purchase is set for this date. I agree. I then call the ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE in southpark meadows all day on 01/13/2020 and no answer at the store. I leave message on voicemail to have them call me back and NO CALL FROM A MANAGER AS I ASK. I call back today on 01/14/2020 and talk to an employee FINALLY, they say that the manager is going to a meeting as I'm asking for one and take my name and # to have either DAVID or MICHAEL call me back and STILL NO CALL BACK. Email me once you read this REVIEW ASHLEY's FURNITURE. I would like to see what ASHLEY'S is going to do to make this RIGHT since they have AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE and I wasted two half days of work and to this day only have 2 pieces of decent furniture. Baldemar J. The only positive thing I can say about Ashely was that salesman that sold us our furniture was wonderful, and gave us a great deal. It may be worth mentioning that this salesman no longer works for Ashley. However, that was the highlight of our experience. Since then, we've had absolutely abysmal customer service. We ordered a couch and stools during that pandemic. Reasonably so, there was a delay with our order. We were given an 8 delivery time for our order. After 7 weeks, we were then told it was going to be another 4 weeks. Strike one. After another 4 weeks, then couch and stools were delivered, but the wrong stools were the incorrect model. Upon delivery, two workers showed up, one male one female. The female mentioned she was "unable to move the couch," so I, THE CUSTOMER, had to help the male delivery worker carry my couch into the house. Strike two. Upon getting the couch into the house, they bumped into the trim around our front door and walls inside, leaving significantly noticeable damages that needed repair. We contacted our landlord about this and he states in our lease agreement of a fee per hour of labor to fix these damages. So we brought that up to customer services to reimburse us. However, since this was after three days since delivery they would not honor this. No where in our paperwork after purchasing this furniture or by any employee were we notified about their this policy, until after the three days was up. It was up to us to go out of our way ahead of time to figure that out, and assume they were going to damage our interior. Strike three. The incorrect stools were brought back to the store, and we were told they would get the correct stools a week later. After receiving no information confirming this, we called that week to have them tell us "we don't have any in stock. We'll have to place a new order for them." This brought our new delivery date to add another 4 weeks on top of that. I am writing this review precisely 107 days since we ordered our furniture, and we still do not have our stools. Strike four. After calling a number of times to customer service about all of this, I have talked to at least 8 different employees, all directing me in different directions about who to contact to make this right. There was no organization to any part of our experience with shopping from here. Don't let our suffering go in vain. DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY! Fork out the extra 15-20% for a more reputable furniture store. TLDR - Ashley messed up our delivery pretty bad, didn't pay for damages they caused, and we still don't have our stuff after 4 months. Oh, and you'll have to help your own couch from the delivery truck. STAY AWAY! read more

I am writing this review on the Ashley Furniture Store in Woodbridge VA. I went in on July 26, 2020 and purchased over $2000 living room furniture,. To this date, 09OCT2020 I have not received my furniture even though, I have been promised delivery (4) times now. I have called the Customer Care department (7) times and the actual store in Woodbridge, VA (10) times since August 2020. I just got off the phone with the Customer Care department (corporate office) who just told me that my name was taken off the delivery list for today delivery. I have had nothing but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS STORE! I have been lied to so many times that, I am sick to death of having to call this company to find out when my furniture will be delivered. I was just now told that the Manager from the Customer Care corporate office, will call me today to "help" me with my situation. Have you ever heard of such stupidity? My buying furniture has now become an issue because I want my furniture delivered today instead of waiting another (3) months. I want you to know that this is one of the worst furniture companies along with Bob's Discount Furniture, in Woodbridge VA that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. BE SMART....DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE....THEY ARE LIARS AND WILL TELL YOU WHATEVER TO GET YOUR MONEY! I will never buy anything from this store again....SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND SHOP AT BASSETT OR Ethan Allen because you will just lose your mind, dealing with these shiftless people who have no ETHICS and INTEGRITY. I WILL DO MY BEST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW THIS UNETHICAL CHEATING, LYING COMPANY STEALS YOUR MONEY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEPLACE ELSE....AFTER THIS MANAGER "SUPPOSEDLY" CALLS ME, I PLAN ON BUYING MY LIVING ROOM FURNITURE SOMEPLACE ELSE....PROBABLY BASSETT..THEY ARE THE BEST! This company has the most frustrating customer service. They screwed up both my deliveries, first the box they brought didn't have all the required pieces. Then they rescheduled 3x over, the last delivery they didn't even tell me they cancelled. I waited at home then spent 2 hours with customer service to find out they cancelled the delivery without contacting me. They then rescheduled to a day without asking me if I was even available. I've spent probably 5 hours on hold at the point with 4 hr45 min on hold and maybe 15 minutes talking to people. All they do is transfer you around to a bunch of different people eventually tell you they fixed it and then they will have done exactly nothing. Do not use this company!!!! read more

Bought ALOT of furniture for daughter's first home; set delivery date; rec'd call confirming delivery and all items in stock; then another call that mattress was on back order - she needed that mattress - specifically chose it because it was in stock. Tried calling EVERYONE and ANYONE at Ashley looking for assistance. Severe Corporate culture of NON customer service here. Called my salesperson, he was useless. Drove to nearest Ashley store (not one I purchased from) and begged that store manager for help. She looked up order, saw everything was in stock, reset up my delivery. DELIVERY: 2 items came defective; delivery guys weren't going to tell me about one of them, but I asked where it was as they were leaving. "It's on the truck; the cabinet door broke". Did they think I wouldn't notice it missing? They called customer service; rep said another 6 weeks for another one. I flipped out, called that same store manager - had replacement in a week. OTHER ITEM: Ashley keeps sending replacement parts, but none of them work. Problem is with the item itself, not the part. Cannot get ANYONE to help me once again. Drove all way to store Where I actually BOUGHT the furniture; manager not working (again). Had strong conversation with my salesman to make sure manager calls me. Did he? No. I understand Ashley has good price points, big selection and acceptable quality, but people, they do not care about you. You are nothing once you leave the store. If you are one of the rare ones to get through hassle free, consider yourself lucky. The other 95% of us are most likely still dealing with loose ends. Customer service still rules, and even if I must pay more, it is worth it knowing someone cares and will not transfer my call or place me on hold for eternity, or not call me back. There is no corporate responsibility with Ashely, so the customer will ALWAYS lose. I recommend going elsewhere. read more

I just cannot believe how BAD Ashley Furniture Customer Service and warranty departments are (both the 1 year and the extended!) Ashley Furniture will never get any more of my business, and they will always have me ensure that no one I know goes there. I NEVER write bad reviews on companies, because there is always another side to every story.. but I just had to participate in their already poor rating. RUN! I have been in contact with the store in 81 Trotters Way Freehold, NJ 07728. This place "service" is an actual joke. When I placed my order I the first time it was broken before it even arrived so they had to change the scheduled date. Okay- annoying but understandable. I had to call 3 more times and send chats to find out when it would be arriving. I was told via chat it would arrive the following saturday. When I asked for reasons why, they had no explanation. I received a call the day before it was supposed to arrive to tell me the item cannot arrive until another week. I asked if they had any of my conversations on record- the answer was no, only the 1st to tell me the original delivery date. The person sounded so uninterested to talk and listen to me- I actually ended up hanging up on her. Yes, not the best thing to do but seriously, why would i waste my time talking when the other person is so disinterested. I will be looking to order my item from their competitors today and canceling this. Eve if I have to wait longer- I'd rather my money to go to a company that cares even a little bit. read more
