Continued from weeks ago as promised. We'll still no refund after cancelling my remaining items ordered with no date of availability. I was told I'd be charged a 10% restock fee fir the remaining $2000 in merchandise. It'd be different if they were about to deliver but no date in sight. Criminal! My last post here resulted in what seemed would be a resolve but No it was simply an automated text convo with no information and no dating on when my refund was going to be made. I did however discover that the company decided not to consider the day I cancelled the order the actual order cancelled date they says they wait 10 days just to make sure. There have to be laws against this right? I'm looking into it. Still ZERO REFUND it's been a month and I'm waiting for my $2000. Buyers be aware and spend elsewhere their managers lie and there's absolutely NO support for customers. Worst business practices I've seen next to a used car dealer I once bought from. Yes still nothing!!! read more

Hear we are again almost September. Still getting the same bs from the store. No answer when you call. The recording says they are closed. Every day all day. We were finally told we were getting an end table and love seat today between 3:15 -6:16. Guess what? Nothing. Not even a call telling us they would not be coming today. How many lies can one store tell their customers. So now we have to drive another 20 miles there and another 20 miles back just to hear there next line of lies. This has been my worst buying experience ever. This is starting to make a preacher cuss. They won't discount, they won't refund our money, they won't deliver the furniture when they say they will, they won't even do something as simple as answer the phone. Oh, the only thing they will do is lie. I wonder how much more of this I can take. Been waiting since March and here it is going on September. People please don't buy anything from this company. Don't make yourself as upset as I am. This has been a total bunch of BULL SHIT. Sorry, I told you it would make a preacher cuss. Well I have to drive into town to see what they will offer up this time. I am sure I will offer up more information when I return from town. DONT GO TO ASHL Have a manager call me @ 512-557-4233 One that won't lie to me read more

Looks like my experience is not unique...ordered a bedroom set about a month ago now, but have had at least 3 delivery dates rescheduled (those calls usually come the day before my delivery date, mind you) with no clear answer on when/how these products will arrive. The customer service line they give you is basically a glorified stereo: you'll sit there listening to music for hours. I'm not sure I've ever have successfully gotten through. just now-Edit Furniture is garbage. Bought a BR set 6 months ago because I needed something quick..paid $1200 for bed and 1 bureau. I've been trying to sell it and it's such crap that no one wants it. It's all particle board. Tried painting it..sanded primed and painted and it's peeling. I'll end up taking a hammer to it and putting out for recycling..I will never ever shop there again read more

This has been the worst experience I have ever had. Ordered my bed in October. It was suppose to be in in 8 weeks, it has now been 3 months and they are telling me that part of the bed is in but not the side rails. Could be May or June. I went to the store and was treated horribly. No customer service whatsoever. The man that the manager said would help me told me he didn't think it would really ever come in. He told me I could call the number on the back of my paperwork and cancel the order and request a refund. Wow I couldn't believe what he was saying. So I sat down and after 20 minutes on hold, my husband asked him to do something because I was just sitting there. He called the warehouse and asked them to cancel the order. Really! I left the store and called the number again. I told her I wanted to cancel the order because I was told I probably wouldn't be getting it anyway. She told me they would call within 24 house to verify the cancelation and issue a refund. Never heard back from them. I called again and was told "No it takes up to 48 hrs". I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. They can't get their story straight. Still unresolved. read more

I purchased a home full of furniture. I have a mattress that slopes on both ends and you can not sleep on it and a reclining sofa that hits the floor when reclined. I spent 2 hours on the phone- after given the run around for 4 months...No one will do anything to help. They had a tech come to take pictures, then told me I needed to take pictures. Stay away!!! Ordered a couch at the Farmingdale NY store first week of August 2020... completely understood when I was told there were delays in shipping!! Received a phone call last week couch was in and I scheduled a delivery date for today 9/14/2020. Imagine my surprise when I called their customer care center for an expected delivery time and was told there was no delivery date and no couch!! Guess couch was given to another customer. Unfortunately we removed our old couch to make room and we have no couch. It may come in another 4 weeks! Who knows - we tried reaching out to it salesman but we have not not received calls back.... very disappointed and not what I expected.... read more

Today my roommate and I had an appointment with Addie. Although we knew what we wanted she was very attentive and worked extremely hard to get us the very best prices for our purchase. I loved that she explained everything to the letter and provided us with purchasing options that more than met our needs. Addie provided us with a complete breakdown of the taxes, shipping cost, delivery dates, and she assured us we would receive a courtesy call prior to delivery. She will definitely be our go to person for all of our future purchases. My friend's mother is going to love her new entertainment center with fireplace! read more

I can't imagine a worse customer service experience. We bought $3,000 worth of furniture from Ashley six years ago. We purchased the $500 warranty to go with it, with the promise that we will receive our $500 back in credit after five years if we don't use the warranty for repairs. Well, here we are six years later trying to get our $500 credit, and we can't find anyone to help us out. They don't return e-mails, don't answer the phone in store, don't answer the phone at customer service. Go to the store in person, they give us a number to call. Of course, no one will answer at that number or give us a call back. I would be shocked to hear that ANYONE has ever received their 500$ credit from their warranty. Do NOT purchase from Ashley, but especially do NOT get talked into purchasing their warranty. It is a total scam, and they will give you the run-around forever. read more

1 star rating comes purely from the lack of service I received at this location. I walked the floor for 30 minutes looking for a sectional and not a single employee came to assist or offer options, but they had enough time to help the couple who came in after me...my budget was $2k and I purchased from another store who had an employee simply give me the time of day. Next time don't judge a book by it's cover. Thank you :) read more

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!! They lied to me about my financing. I had no clue what bank they put me with. I found out because I am 3 months late on my payments. Wtf!!! My credit score dropped 100 points!!!! Terrible service. Ordered couch on Nov 11 for delivery on Dec 16. Dec 16 comes, no couch. Talked with customer service, apparently I was not even scheduled for Dec 16 and would take an additional few weeks for sofa to arrive. We ordered a sectional in May. The estimated delivery was the first week of July. We thought that was a longer turn around but we bit the bullet and bought it anyways. July came and went. Summer and Fall came and went. It's December and we've finally decided to cancel our order. I get it COVID is making thing tough but come on! We were patient. We finally started calling and the customer service was non existent. They kept stating a date and then that date would come and go. They would tell us to not call them, they would call us. They never did. 8 months, never again. read more

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED EVER. I don't even know where to start with this review. My husband and I bought some furniture on June 24th. Paid CASH. $4K+ because we were quoted a 4-5 week delivery date. That window goes by we try to contact our salesman who repeatedly ignores our calls. Figure okay they're busy but we can wait another few weeks. Received a text on 7/30 that our furniture is tentatively scheduled to arrive 9/16 and shortly after another text that says 8/16 STILL NO FURNITURE. Another text saying our furniture would take 13-15 weeks. (So then why quote 4-5 weeks during the same?) My husband goes into the store and demands answers or a refund is given information that they'd take his name and number they'd call us within 24-48 hrs to either let us know if they can find the furniture closer to us or refund a check. Refund would take 2 weeks to receive by mail since we paid cash, they don't keep cash in the store. And guess what? STILL NO PHONE CALL. So today we go into the store demand to speak to a manager, to our surprise there is no manager on a Saturday afternoon. Meet with a salesman that then tells us we were misinformed (once again) and that refunds take up to 8 weeks. Are you freaking kidding me? In that case why would we have asked for a refund? This type of customer service is mind blowing. We have an EMPTY house with no furniture for 2 months now. With still no answers. I am begging you, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! read more

Just ridiculous delays right now. Avoid shopping here at all costs. My wife and I moved at the end of April and needed furniture. This is our first time moving away from family and had no furniture of our own. We purchased a sofa and love seat from Ashley HomeStore excited to fill our place, however it's been four months now and we still have an empty living room. I've received 4 or 5 different delivery date changes. Finally I went in to the store and asked what was going on, they then told me that I would receive them tomorrow (Saturday). My wife and I decided to spend the weekend at home so as to make sure we got the furniture. But when I just double checked with an online agent they claimed it wouldn't come until next weekend. We would have sat around for nothing if I hadn't contacted them to follow up. I'm tired of wasting my weekends waiting on empty promises of delivering my order. I will not be buying from Ashley again. Who knows if I'll ever receive our stuff. Don't blame poor business and customer service on Covid. There's plenty of other industries that have done just fine. We've got all our other furniture, but still have an empty living room due to Ashley. read more

Ask for "Doc", very helpful and cares about what your plan is. We looked at tables and couches for our new apt, Doc was very informative about the quality, delivery services, and best times to purchase the items we were interested in. 4 stars because the prices online were cheaper and its kind of far from North Austin (where I live), but it's great to have a nice sales guy that I can come to that cares about getting me the best deal possible and shares my concerns. read more

TERRIBLE!!! We waited a month for our beautiful glass table & it was missing an important bolt: the one needed to screw the glass to the base bc without it the glass will fall. Customer service was rude & kept shouting over the phone with me. They said it would take 7-10 days for A BOLT TO ARRIVE!! A measly bolt. Pathetic. I am very busy & do not have time for these inconveniences. I will never be ordering from them again. Terrible furniture store. read more

Received a damage bedroom set. I have been calling Ashley's customer service since 11/30 to get someone in to repair the furniture because they won't give me a replacement. No one has been able to help me. Paid $3K for furniture set and it's damaged, extremely frustrating read more

I never have a terrible shopping experience like this. They deceived a damaged bed frame to me on last Sunday. I called customer service right away. They told me to sign the delivered information first, then they can sent some other technician to fix it. I told them clearly I want exchange the bed box because it's not stable. The customer representative said from the photo the bed looks pretty stable. How interesting is it. You can tell how stable of the bed from a photo. I repeat so many times I am not satisfied with this bed. She still repeated if you don't sigh the delivered contract first, we can't find other people help you fix it. And also the delivered guy stay at my place didn't leave. So I said i only sign it with a note to clarify this situation. After a week, Ashley call me said the technician will come from 7-10, this time is kind of ridiculous. I asked them will the technician call me 30 mins before since last time they only call me 8 mins before they arrived. This new customer service old lady has a really bad attitude, said they can't solve the problem never happened before I told them it happened last time, she said she has nothing to do with the thing already happened with a really bad attitude. They also refused to return the order, the reason is I sign the paper because the first customer representative lied to me and force me sign it. So basically, I spend almost 1400 and get a damaged bed frame and bed boxes. Their customer services are super bad. Even for the zero star is too high for them. I talked to three customer representatives, only the second one which is a guy tried to help me solve the problem with a nice attitude. All other two ladies not only have a bad attitude also not respect people. I didn't finish my conversation and we didn't find any solution they just hang up on my twice. During the whole process, they even didn't say a sorry at all. I supposed to get the useable product at begin, in the past whole week we don't have a bed to sleep because they delivered a damaged bed. As a store, you already made troubles for your customer at begin, not only without a sorry, but also had a even worst attitude. I am so disappoint with Ashely. This is an extremely terrible shopping experience. Ashely also has a awful customer services. If you want to spend money, get tons of arguments and damage items. Ashely will be the best choice for you. read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. Misled about delivery and inventory available. Went in person to request a refund and was greeted with the most absurd rhetoric. Manager told me that I was lucky to be getting my couch so fast considering covid. Ashley should be groveling for my money at this point. No efforts were made for customer retention. Wait, it gets better, we went to another store and found out the majority of their staff were former employees of Ashley. Wow, employees left Ashley Furniture because of the nonsense that is allowed to transpire. Buyer beware, DO NOT waste your time or money at Ashley. read more

We live in North Austin and usually go to the Pflugerville store. We were in the south area, so we decided to stop in. The store itself is beautiful. We were immediately greeted by Zach. He asked what we were looking for, we gave him the info and then said we wanted to walk around. He pointed us in the direction of the type of furniture we were looking for and gave us our space. When we had made our decision, he was readily available. He worked with his manager to help us price match the piece we decided on because it was cheaper at another store. The whole process was quick and efficient, while still being welcoming and chatty. It was the most painless furniture buying experience I've ever had. read more

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Ashley Furniture is scamming it's customers by selling a product that they have NO IDEA when they can deliver! I purchased a 6 PC sectional on Memorial Day weekend with the predicted delivery date of "around" July 4th. Ok, no problem. I had a perfectly functioning sectional that we were just upgrading. Received notice early June that my furniture was ready to be delivered in late June (over 3 weeks from the text). Great, still early. A few days before delivery we sold our existing sectional and then got a call the day before delivery that our pieces actually weren't ready and the delivery would be pushed out another week AND only 2 of the 6 pcs would be delivered. 3 ended up arriving on 7/1 but one was damaged with a hole. They left the piece and said that when the rest of my sections arrived they would have a new one with it to exchange. We are now 7/23, I've had at least 4 new delivery dates scheduled, confirmed, 3 hr time windows given....only to receive a call today again that "no sorry, it's not ready and won't be for another MONTH (not guaranteed) for 2 pieces and the final piece is not "ESTIMATED" to be ready until OCTOBER! From MAY TO OCTOBER.....MAYBE! The employee seemed patronizing and unapologetic like she's reading from the standard story they must be telling all of their under valued customers. I have spent hours over the last month on the phone, either on hold or with a rep, trying to get my product. I have sent emails to the addresses two different reps gave me and they came back undeliverable! I sent one through their contact us page and it has gone unanswered. I sent another today to a new email address that I'm sure will be ignored as well. I have half of a sectional (not even enough to make functional seating) and I am beyond livid about it! This is NOT a pandemic problem. This is an ASHLEY FURNITURE PROBLEM! I am completely understanding that production is delayed but Your. Delivery. Process. Is. Broken! Stop wasting our time! Give me the experience and furniture I paid for! I didn't order a t-shirt that I expected in 2 days. I spent THOUSANDS! This is fraud! Come get your half a sectional furniture and let me be done with you! I refuse to pay you a "cancellation fee" for a product that hasn't even been made yet or for the HORRIBLE service and experience I've received. You should've graciously offering to let people out of their "contract". If I should have to live up it so should you and deliver in a respectable and reasonable manner and if you can't then let me take my business elsewhere. If you can't deliver the products your salespeople are offering then shut your doors! Just pushing delivery dates back the day before your customers are expecting them or not having ANY CLUE as to WHEN we will get them is UNACCEPTABLE!! It's UNETHICAL! I'm going on a month without comfortable living room seating because you all told me it would be here weeks ago! read more

3rd Update: We went to the store as per customer service advice telling us that we can cancel and return the matching set. The staff who catered us have no idea when the product will arrive so we were thinking to cancel the TVstand with fireplace insert but she said "there is no return policy" meaning anything they already delivered can't be return. The TV stand is part of the matching set with the dinning room furniture and the bedroom furniture. and what am I suppose to do with the fireplace insert with no tv stand. that tv stand was supposed to be delivered back in june 29, 2020. 2nd UPDATE: September 8, 2020 nobody from Ashley contacted me. I CANNOT believe the horrible, frustrating, uncoordinated, unapologetic, insulting, insensitive, irresponsible service I recently received from this company!!! Easiest way to describe this debacle is with a timeline. Week before Halloween: I order a new bed set for my daughter who will be coming home from college for the Thanksgiving break. Delivery was set for Nov. 4th. Nov 4th: Delivery comes and the dresser is put together and bed parts are left in my daughter's room. Delivery guys say they have the wrong headboard so they'll have to come back once the right part is ordered. I get a call that the new piece will be delivered on the 11th. A week later. Nov. 11th: Driver shows up and goes upstairs. Comes back and says he has rails but no headboard. He says they did not send the right headboard...AGAIN!!!! I call customer service EXTREMELY frustrated and was told by a rep in customer care that it was the stores fault for not ordering the right piece. I was told I needed to call the store. The store says they need customer care to fix the problem on their end. I call customer care ONCE AGAIN. After 45 minutes on the phone I was told an exchange would be scheduled. The rep asked if the driver left the rails. I said no. She said, "well it looks like they did." I once again said no. The rep then said," Look I need you to be honest with me." (Clearly insinuating I was a liar who just wanted an extra set if rails...for what I don't know!!!) After getting very upset I asked to speak to a manager. I then spoke with Rob the manager and I explained how frustrated I was and how insulted I was. He offered NO apology. He quietly typed away and said ok I've sent an email to the store so we can get the right part. I manage a multi million dollar establishment and would never disregard someone's concern and just sweep it under the rug like it didn't happen. I asked him, Do you understand that your rep just practically called me a liar?" He said yes I do (Still offered no apology or reassurance that the rep would be corrected.) He said I'm focused in the bigger problem right now. Before we hung up he said I will correct the rep..bur still..no apology. The new furniture is set to be delivered for Saturday Nov. 18th. I day before my daughter comes home. Cutting it close?? Yeah I know..I figured almost a whole month was PLENTY of time go get this done...yeah right. Nov. 18th: I get a call at 7:30 am. to tell me the furniture did not come in and would be scheduled for the day AFTER Thanksgiving...so my child would be sleeping on the floor for 5 days. I told them forget it. CANCEL MY ORDER!! I was told the order would be canceled. I told them to come pick up the dresser and bed PARTS. They said they would have to schedule that pick up. 2 days later I get a call confirming my DELIVERY.!!!! I once again told them I CANCELED my order and PLEASE COME GET THE WRONG FURNITURE FROM MY HOME!!! Seeing how I already went and got new furniture the day my child came home. So now the extra furniture is strewn all over my upstairs living room...during the HOLIDAYS!! They said ok we'll cancel the delivery but we have to wait for accounting to refund your order before we can pick up the furniture. TODAY!!!!: I get a call from the driver saying he was almost to my home with MY DELIVERY!!!! I swear now that this is just a bad joke. I said I CANCELED that delivery. Called customer care back and they said oops ok. As soon as accounting refunds your order we'll pick it up. Sure..no problem...take your time. No inconvenience here smh. I have bought my living room set, dining room set and a bedroom set with Ashley. I will NEVER order ANYTHING from them..ever again. read more

Was scheduled for a delivery last Saturday for 1:30-4:30 PM. It was then changed to 2:30-5:30 without my notification. I then received a call that it was going to be 7:00-7:30 PM due to the truck being behind. Received a call at 7:00 from the truck driver saying he was too muddy from the stop before mine and he would be unable to deliver my furniture and that I would need to call and reschedule. I called in and tried to reschedule, was put on hold, and told that it would be delivered within the next 20-30 minutes and that the deliveryman was in the area and was going to just clean himself up. At 8:30 I got another call from someone completely different saying that the deliveryman was going to be unable to deliver that night and I needed to reschedule. I then scheduled for it to come on Monday between 2-10 PM. According to them it was either going to be at the start of that time frame or the end of it. Monday comes around and it did no come in on the earlier part. I called the corporate number mid day just to verify since I did not get any kind of email confirmation like I did the first time. According to corporate, there is nothing on my account of any kind of delivery today. I then called the local store and told them the entire situation. According to them, I never confirmed. I did not receive a second confirmation. Apparently the first one was not good enough. Never once did anyone apologize. The manager I was on the phone with at the store was incredibly rude. This was a wedding present to my fiancee and I have already gotten rid of my other couch. I cancelled my order and I nor anyone in my family will never do business with Ashley again. read more

We worked with Javier to purchase our master bedroom set, sofa, and area rug for our living room. Javier was very professional and knowledgeable. He worked with us to help get us the best price on all of our items. My husband and I felt that Ashley had very reasonable return policies and terms and conditions. They were able to make price adjustments up through the delivery day. After purchasing, Ashley had a sale where some of the items we purchased ended up being cheaper than what we had paid. The staff at Ashley was able to credit us back the difference with no hassle. We were able to schedule our delivery date for when it was convenient for us. The day before the delivery, we received a call with our delivery window. The drivers were on time and professional. They put together our furniture and nothing was damaged in transit. We purchased an entire bedroom set and we are very happy with the style and quality. The sectional we purchased is a nice gray color and came with throw pillows. The rug we got is an indoor/outdoor rug which we've been told is very durable to spills and easy to clean. Overall, we're very happy with the selection and service provided by Ashley. Javier is a great sales person, and I wouldn't hesitate to shop here again. read more

Love the office furniture and dining table I purchased. Looks great! However, I purchased a bookcase and it was installed without the shelves in. I discovered that there were not enough shelf stand inserts to hold the shelves up. I have called customer service 3 times. It has been over a month and I continue to be told they were mailed each time. I still have not received them, so my bookcase has been shelf-less. It's just a $5 piece, but I can't use the bookshelf until I get them. Kind of silly for a small, but important piece to the purchase. Think I will just have to hunt some different ones down at Home Depot. Also, I have no idea how to "direct message you." I tried calling customer service... I appreciate the concern, but I ended up making my own padded shelf insert supports from materials at Home Depot. 4/23 read more
