I've been trying for two weeks now to get a dresser exchanged. The salesman ordered the youth dresser rather than the dresser he showed me in the showroom. I've talked to him, josh, several times but got no help. Went in to the store and talked to the manager,Troy, again no interest in solving the problem. Claim they sent it to the home office and are waiting on approval to make the exchange. Never got back to me. I have called Customer care (what a joke). Spoke with two different people the first one was very nice and assured me someone would contact me in 24 -48 hours to arrange the exchange. Again no response. Second person was extremely rude just saying it's the store's responsibility. Nothing she could do. Asked to speak to a supervisor who was too busy but would return my call as soon as possible. Of course I have gotten no response. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and left 1 star reviews everywhere I can. Interesting side note. I just saw another review where the same salesman ordered a loveseat instead of the sofa the client wanted after making them a "good deal" if they bought a recliner as well as the sofa (which of course he ordered as a loveseat). They have refused to exchange it. Obviously they don't care about customer satisfaction or the fact that they continue to get bad reviews everywhere. read more

Most horrible response by customer service for an art piece pictured on the site exactly as I wanted it. I ordered it and it arrived and is an entirely different color and look! I emailed pictures of the one on the site and the one I received to them. I just wanted them to pay shipping back as i believe it was poor advertising. The response was it was "customer perception" and would not take any responsibility for their issue. Two representatives said the same. It is too expensive to ship it back. Do not trust Ashley, the listings on line, the products or customer care. Never again. Check out the Aeryn Wall Art listing. Next chapter....responded to Ashley's request for my contact information. I am willing to discuss. They said to do it by internal message to review department. There was no address. I sent it to customer service. So far there is no response. And now we unwrapped it to look any there is damage. read more

This was a worst experience that I ever had with purchasing furniture.W e spend almost whole Saturday to chose furniture that we like. Place the order ,suppostely should be deliever in 2 weeks. 2 day after delievery date I made a call to see why we hsve not recieved our furniture. They told me it would take another month and half. Because they made a mistake and some other store sold our furniture now we have to waite another month. No call to a least let us know and they made me to come to store 10 miles away from my house 2 times to sign cancelation. read more

Worst customer service ever. Tell you four weeks. Ends up being 28. And to top it off. Calls to confirm delivery. Still not getting what was originally ordered. Never will do business here again. read more

I wanted to update my review with even more disappointing information. So after waiting 7 months for the last of my furniture to be delivered (dresser) I found out my order was cancelled in April & I was never notified. I had financed my furniture & because it has taken SO long to complete the delivery Synchrony needed the order to be reauthorization. The sales representative that took care of me is no longer there so it was not reauthorized & cancelled. I called to get an update since it was supposed to be delivered in May & I hadn't heard from them only to find out it was cancelled. If I hadn't called I'd still be waiting for a delivery! I questioned why my account since it was still opened wasn't turned over to another representative & was told it's a flaw in their system that they're working on...really!?! So I had to reorder the dresser, since I have a bedroom set & no dresser! The manager tells me she went over & above the discount they normally give & discounted the delivery for my inconvenience, but yet I ended up paying 22$ more then I originally paid. I know it's not a lot but it's the principle that once again they screwed me. When I questioned this she blamed Synchrony & said we would have to call them. I went through the charges from Synchrony & they only billed what Ashley charged. I also expressed my frustration with being charged for delivery after everything I've been through. The manager said corporate would not allow any further discounts or free delivery. I asked for a number for corporate & I called them today only to be told they couldn't do anything that I'd have to talk to the store manager...really!?! I expressed my frustration regarding their business & customer service & the representative hung up on me! Again...really!?! Have NEVER dealt with a business like this. If I could give them 0 stars I would! read more

This business has a total disregard for their customers with zero to little empathy. I have now been waiting nearly 5 months for a single couch to be delivered but it is the usual "well that date given is just an estimate". Honestly, do not shop here, sales associates are completely in over their heads and will tell you there is an 'expected' 15-30 days for delivery, but this is not the case. You would think a company with a rating over 4 on the BBB would not have 1 star review on the same platform. Complete disregard for their customers, customer experience, and customer expectations - to be honest I looked up the BBB rating expecting it to be lower as they are constantly lying to their customers, but it was at a surprising 4. I am never this mad, never enough to review, but Ashley has passed the last straw. The worst part is my furniture was in ready to be delivered but was involved in a roll over accident and not salvageable. When I asked what Ashley can do for me I was told basically "this is not my problem". If you are looking to purchase from here, save some time and do don't. I even asked sales associates after a very tense conversation if they are aware of any supplychain issues and they simply said "I have no idea". Do not shop here - waste of time, money and waiting. Looking forward to the reply from Ashley saying reach out to an alias email with my info - if you care about your customer you need to help resolve these issues and not sell false expectations. read more

Cheap quality for the price. Sofa has not lasted 6 months. Ikea furniture lasts longer! They also have horrendous after sale service. It took over 3.5 months to get service for broken parts. read more

I just visited this store and not 1 person greeted me or asked me if I needed assistance. When I saw a sales person on the floor he avoided me by turning a corner, walking the long way then sneaking out behind me. I walked into the store with 2 women ahead of me and as I was leaving a family of 4 entered the store (all who were white) were greeted immediately upon entering the store and provided assistance. Needless to say, I left and won't be returning. I wish I could give this place zero stars. read more

I do not WANT to be contacted. They will not stop trying to. The issue was posted about. I don't know her name. I don't want to provide my info. Now Ashley's support is doing EXACTLY the same thing the sales person did - bombard me after I just wanted to be left alone. Absolutely ridiculous the number of times they've commented. Teach your sales people not to bother the customers REPEATEDLY after the customer has said they don't need help. Twice is fine, after that it just pisses me off and makes me want to leave. read more

Terrible customer service. When I walked in everyone was just standing around talking. I was greeting by a man who I told what my needs word. We were told by a customer service rep on the phone that we could make an appointment at the store directly to get a couch fixed even if we purchased from a third party. It turns out that is not the case which I understand but the person we were greeted by in the store was extremely rude. He just shut me down, didn't offer any advice when asked and walked away to continue his bantering with his coworkers workers. I was interested in purchasing more furniture but left immediately and wasn't even acknowledged as we left. Customer service 101. read more

Horrible experience and never again at Ashley furniture- I ordered a dining room set , they ended up sending me the wrong one and charged me a warranty fee of $129 without asking me or taking my permission. The items took 3 weeks to deliver- wastes my time eating a whole day for the wrong set. They need to hire professional sales person- we made it clear to the sale lady that we needed high table to stools, she ended up putting an order of a low table with chairs. read more

I was "publicly" asked through a reply from Ashley Furniture (after posting about a manufacturer defect in their furniture through Yelp) to contact them so they could resolve the issue. I promptly contacted them at the provided email address. I never got a reply. I have never owned furniture before that fell apart in 3 years, and I have been a home owner for 30 years. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS! I finally recieved a reply from the provided email address. They informed me I had to contact my local store. I will provide an update in the next few weeks. read more

We did not end up finding what we wanted, but wanted to give a quick review about the experience we had just browsing for furniture. We were immediately greeted by Nick when we came in the store and we told him what we were looking for. He showed us multiple chair ideas and smaller sofas that could possibly work for our small room. He gave some very good suggestions, which we still need to think about. After a horrible experience with another furniture store it was so welcoming to be acknowledged by a sales person who listened and directed us toward what we needed instead of letting us roam aimlessly around the store. If we do decide to go with Ashley Furniture we will definitely be asking for Nick. read more

I purchased a couch and chair from the store in Tyler, Texas. It was extremely comfortable in the showroom, which is why I bought it. We have had it in our home for 3 weeks, and it is hard and very uncomfortable! I I was told too bad. They would not take it back. Poor customer service!! They could easily have taken it back and sold it in their clearance room and let us pick something else out! Lost a customer for sure!! read more

This company has a terrible delivery service. We ordered furniture from them with the promise that it would be delivered 4 weeks later. Only half the furniture arrived and I had to go around and around with for them to find the rest of it. Nice store and staff. They treat you well, promise you the world, take thousands of dollars from you and then send you to hell. Ashley gives you delivery dates at the time of purchase then changes them throughout the process. We will have your furniture to you on the 17th...they call and say it won't get there until 930 at night....then they don't show....the next day they don't even call....back to the store and more promises..."deliver tomorrow"....well how about a couple of days after that....wait, whoops. What we meant to say is a week from now. This was our last stop for the day after looking all over the place for a new bedset. We were greeted at the door and soon after a sales rep offered assistance (Nick). First off, our sales rep was awesome...friendly, not pushy, and told me about the kids play area in back (we had our 2 year old with us). My son and I went to check out the play area while my husband browsed. He narrowed it down to a few sets, which Nick got us all the price info for so we could discuss it at home. We ended up purchasing the mattress right away (got a great deal on it, by the way), and Nick arranged it so that we had till Friday to decide for sure if we wanted to purchase the bed set and still get it under the same sale price. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend asking for Nick if you want help. I can't wait to get our new bed...and I'll be updating this review to include our delivery experience. ***POST DELIVER UPDATE*** The delivery experience was HORRIBLE. I cannot stress to you enough just how bad the delivery was. We told them at purchase that we couldn't do certain hours during the week, so it was supposed to be schedule only inside our availability on Friday. Thursday comes and we got an automated phone message confirming our delivery time...which was exactly during our hours that we could NOT accept delivery. We called and were told 'too bad' and ended up rescheduling for the next available date...two weeks from then. Not happy about that. So two weeks come and go and they were supposed to come in the late afternoon on Saturday between 4:30-7:30. No one showed up, no one called. We contacted the store and the manager (I think his name was Chris) took charge and tried to find out what was going on. As it turns out, they use a 3rd party delivery service and the truck had broke down that morning. The deliver service said they'd get to us by 9pm. Again, 9pm passed and no delivery. The store manager worked with the delivery service to get us our furniture first thing the following morning (Sunday...they don't typically do deliveries on Sunday and it was Memorial Day weekend). Sunday morning we FINALLY got our furniture. The manager returned our delivery fee and an additional discount for all the trouble...and this morning I got flowers with another apology from them. I was completely ready to take away every single star because of the bad delivery experience...and if I knew what the 3rd party company was, I'd review them. However, I just removed 1 star...because the Ashley employees really did go above and beyond to get us our furniture and make sure we were happy with it. I am, however, relieved that I don't have any more furniture purchases to make for a while. read more

Last year we bought 8 dining table chairs covered with fabric. They were not inexpensive. We had some reservations about buying them as I felt they would show dirt and stains. The salesman said the warranty would cover these issues and not to worry. We used these chairs very mildly as there are only 2 of us. Well after a year some of the chairs had food spots and dirt. And one chair that had a loose leg and it was only used maybe 6 times. I called the warranty company who mailed out a cleaning product. I tried to clean up the stains but the fabric is now discolored. I recalled the warranty company about the continued stain and they said the product only was for food stains and I also advised them about the loose leg they said it was not covered. Originally also when the store delivered our chairs last year a few chairs were wobbly. The deliver guy told my husband they would settle down flat. 2 have not. So I feel ripped off being told the warranty would cover things when it did not and the delivery guys not caring enough to make things right when the chairs were delivered. NOTE to self: Do not buy the warranties that are offered and go by my gut feeling about things. --- I will say Ashley Furniture reached out to me. Basically said they could do nothing for me. Again NOTE TO SELF: Do not buy the warranties and don't buy something if I have any doubts or reservations even with the salesperson saying the right words. read more

Ashley Furniture contacted me and allowed me to select different furniture. I was able to pick out something I liked more, but it was still a big hassle. The saleswoman that assisted us was very kind and helpful. However, the reselect policy requires that you spend at least as much as the original order. All items purchased must be furniture as well. There was a sale going on that would have made our purchase less than the original. Luckily they were able to just charge us regular price, which ended up being about $100 more than our original order. I was not happy about paying more money to them after such a bad experience, but at least we were able to trade in so it could be worse. read more

I would not put any stars if I could. I ordered my furniture in July and I still have not received it. I have received multiple "potential " delivery dates that have been pushed back September, October, November, and now December. I called customer service spoke with Brandia and was told our couches would be delivered in two weeks (Early November). I called the next weekend to find out from Mark at the call center (who was rude and told me if I wanted to talk to a manager I had to go into Ashley) there were no notes if I really even called. I went into Ashley and the manger said Mark is probably from another state so he can't help what Mark says. Is there call center not accountable?? I have never written a review if this helps emphasize how shit of an experience I've had. I ordered a couch September 2022 and the couch leg snapped off November 2022. Been without a couch for 5 months and counting. Had to wait till January for leg to come in stock after countless calls. Received shipment of the part in February and they "forgot" to put the leg in the box and shipped screws. Now the leg is out of stock again and expected to come in April. Talked to manager here and he gave zero f$cks and just said sorry. No compensation, no partial refund, gift card nothing. Will not buy couch from here and can't wait for 'Ashley Furniture' to reply to this comment with "I am sorry for your experience". "Sorry" doesn't fix anything boo boo. read more

I have to tell you this store is absolutely ridiculous their service is terrible I purchased furniture back on April 23 of this year I had the nicest sales agent who helped us he was very nice but that's where it ends when we arrive at a received some furniture it was in terrible condition they would not let us return it so we had to take a credit and we spent more money we have been waiting since May for our delivery I cannot get through to anyone at their store I cannot get through to anybody at their main number which is the only place you can sometimes get someone to answer I have been told by two different people over the last month my furniture would be delivered it has never arrived. Finally today I am filing fraudulent charges through my credit card I have been more than patient this is seriously a problem I am so so disappointed it is ridiculous that this furniture store is still in business and that they cannot even pick up the phone to talk to their customers I spent over $5000 there I am so upset read more

No Couches, on the 3rd delivery date, now going to take 2 1/2 months for couches that were in stock! My wife ordered two couches online in the middle of May with the middle of June delivery date. They charged our account the first part of June. The day before the delivery we called Ashley HomeStore to know what time they would be here. Could not talk to anyone, a recording said (when we put in the order number) that the couches were not coming until July 15th. I left a voicemail for someone to call back. No one called back. We now have received an email that the delivery is now pushed back again until July 30th. The other strange thing is that the website says they will not charge us until the furniture has been sent out, or delivered. They charged us the first part of June. They are now paid. Yet no couches till July 30 which will be 2 1/2 months. so confused, and you can not talk to anyone. UPDATE!!!: I noticed that when the company responded to the the reviews, they gave an email address. I emailed that email address and received a nice answer back that someone was going to reach out to me. They did. They told me by voicemail that I should have read the fine print. That the original delivery date that I was given by the company was bogus. And that they are doing a good job. (and still you cannot talk to anyone) SO WHEN THE SITE SAYS: In Stock and ready for delivery... customer service is saying that is bogus. read more

I would have awarded 5 stars as the piece of furniture, sideboard buffet, is beautiful and the in store service was top notch. There was a glitch with delivery. All was perfect, or so I thought, until I went to readjust the shelf levels to my liking after delivery put them in. Although I was watching them doing that, there was no way for me to see that one of the tiny shelf brackets was not a bracket at all but a screw they sort of "rigged." Here is the problem. . . . They should have told me. Simple. . . just say, we are missing the proper bracket. We can put in this screw temporarily. We advise you call the store for replacement or whatever the procedure should be. Tried putting this info on the survey Ashley e-mailed but it would not submit. I called the store and was assured they would get back to me by end of business day which they did not. read more

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! I've used ashely furniture stores in 4 different states as I've moved with my company. From this store, I've purchased a bedroom set, kitchen set, and living room set. Wrong mattress was delivered (which is a mistake and wasn't upset at the beginning) however, specific to this location, the customer service line and store managers are NOT able to help. Have had 3 different store GMs try to resolve (as they continue to turn over each time I reach out) and decided today to go in-person to resolve. After a 45min drive, a nice salesman said he would talk to the store manager to see if they could assist....not only could they not, but they didn't even come out to talk to me in person. I was handed a business card and told to call customer service because there is nothing they can do. I suppose I should just keep the double size mattress in my King Size frame and be happy about it. I wish I could give them 0. I ordered online and the bed frame I received had manufacturing errors. I had to go through a long process to get the bed frame approved for return which took over a week. I had to keep calling trying to get somebody who knew how to help. One customer service representative tried telling me that I Needed to bring the furniture to any donation center like a church or Goodwill and when I got the receipt from them I send it to Ashley Homestore to get reimbursed. She also wouldn't send me these instructions via email. Felt sketchy. So I called back for another representative. Then they scheduled a day to pickup the frame for return which got rescheduled two times. Apparently they call you a few days in advance to confirm the pickup. I missed the call and it went to voicemail because there is no caller ID that says Ashley Homestore. Even though I called back to confirm, my pickup got pushed back another week. This happened twice. Be careful about this company! The price they listed in the store is way higher than the price they listed online for the same day same item. The explanation by the sales associate is that they charge more in store because the overhead in store is higher than online. Come on! It is 21st century. I never see any other furniture store charge same item different in store vs online. If it do happens, it only will be the store price lower than website price due to special events in store.
