This is the worse experience I have ever had with any furniture store. We were told our furniture would be delivered from 4:30-7pm so we waited and they never showed or called. My wife called them only to find out that the delivery truck had issues. They said they would be able to deliver around 11pm which was not going to work for us because we had plans and were not going to be home. My wife spoke to a manager who promised he would call her back, The manager never called back. We called the next day to inquire about our furniture and again they promised to call us back and did not! I finally got tired of waiting so I went into the showroom to get some answers. The same manager my wife had spoken to was there so I spoke to him. He tells me that since the delivery di not happen that the furniture was released to someone else. Now they dont know when we will be able to get our furniture because of lack of stock. They offered to discount us $160 but we have no idea when we will get our furniture. I'm beyond pussed and disappointed. Not only did they not deliver when they promised to they gave our furniture to someone else. They havent heard the end of me. This is probably not a common situation but it's definitely a messed up situation. They did not handle this correctly and now we are being inconvenienced. read more

Most horrible response by customer service for an art piece pictured on the site exactly as I wanted it. I ordered it and it arrived and is an entirely different color and look! I emailed pictures of the one on the site and the one I received to them. I just wanted them to pay shipping back as i believe it was poor advertising. The response was it was "customer perception" and would not take any responsibility for their issue. Two representatives said the same. It is too expensive to ship it back. I wanted to update my review with even more disappointing information. So after waiting 7 months for the last of my furniture to be delivered (dresser) I found out my order was cancelled in April & I was never notified. I had financed my furniture & because it has taken SO long to complete the delivery Synchrony needed the order to be reauthorization. The sales representative that took care of me is no longer there so it was not reauthorized & cancelled. I called to get an update since it was supposed to be delivered in May & I hadn't heard from them only to find out it was cancelled. If I hadn't called I'd still be waiting for a delivery! I questioned why my account since it was still opened wasn't turned over to another representative & was told it's a flaw in their system that they're working on...really!?! So I had to reorder the dresser, since I have a bedroom set & no dresser! The manager tells me she went over & above the discount they normally give & discounted the delivery for my inconvenience, but yet I ended up paying 22$ more then I originally paid. I know it's not a lot but it's the principle that once again they screwed me. When I questioned this she blamed Synchrony & said we would have to call them. I went through the charges from Synchrony & they only billed what Ashley charged. I also expressed my frustration with being charged for delivery after everything I've been through. The manager said corporate would not allow any further discounts or free delivery. I asked for a number for corporate & I called them today only to be told they couldn't do anything that I'd have to talk to the store manager...really!?! This business has a total disregard for their customers with zero to little empathy. I have now been waiting nearly 5 months for a single couch to be delivered but it is the usual "well that date given is just an estimate". Honestly, do not shop here, sales associates are completely in over their heads and will tell you there is an 'expected' 15-30 days for delivery, but this is not the case. You would think a company with a rating over 4 on the BBB would not have 1 star review on the same platform. Complete disregard for their customers, customer experience, and customer expectations - to be honest I looked up the BBB rating expecting it to be lower as they are constantly lying to their customers, but it was at a surprising 4. I am never this mad, never enough to review, but Ashley has passed the last straw. The worst part is my furniture was in ready to be delivered but was involved in a roll over accident and not salvageable. When I asked what Ashley can do for me I was told basically "this is not my problem". If you are looking to purchase from here, save some time and do don't. I even asked sales associates after a very tense conversation if they are aware of any supplychain issues and they simply said "I have no idea". Do not shop here - waste of time, money and waiting. I have never written a review if this helps emphasize how shit of an experience I've had. I ordered a couch September 2022 and the couch leg snapped off November 2022. Been without a couch for 5 months and counting. Had to wait till January for leg to come in stock after countless calls. Received shipment of the part in February and they "forgot" to put the leg in the box and shipped screws. Now the leg is out of stock again and expected to come in April. Talked to manager here and he gave zero f$cks and just said sorry. No compensation, no partial refund, gift card nothing. I have to tell you this store is absolutely ridiculous their service is terrible I purchased furniture back on April 23 of this year I had the nicest sales agent who helped us he was very nice but that's where it ends when we arrive at a received some furniture it was in terrible condition they would not let us return it so we had to take a credit and we spent more money we have been waiting since May for our delivery I cannot get through to anyone at their store I cannot get through to anybody at their main number which is the only place you can sometimes get someone to answer I have been told by two different people over the last month my furniture would be delivered it has never arrived. I just visited this store and not 1 person greeted me or asked me if I needed assistance. When I saw a sales person on the floor he avoided me by turning a corner, walking the long way then sneaking out behind me. I walked into the store with 2 women ahead of me and as I was leaving a family of 4 entered the store (all who were white) were greeted immediately upon entering the store and provided assistance. From this store, I've purchased a bedroom set, kitchen set, and living room set. Wrong mattress was delivered (which is a mistake and wasn't upset at the beginning) however, specific to this location, the customer service line and store managers are NOT able to help. Have had 3 different store GMs try to resolve (as they continue to turn over each time I reach out) and decided today to go in-person to resolve. After a 45min drive, a nice salesman said he would talk to the store manager to see if they could assist....not only could they not, but they didn't even come out to talk to me in person. I was handed a business card and told to call customer service because there is nothing they can do. I suppose I should just keep the double size mattress in my King Size frame and be happy about it. Only half the furniture arrived and I had to go around and around with for them to find the rest of it. Ashley gives you delivery dates at the time of purchase then changes them throughout the process. Last year we bought 8 dining table chairs covered with fabric. They were not inexpensive. We had some reservations about buying them as I felt they would show dirt and stains. The salesman said the warranty would cover these issues and not to worry. We used these chairs very mildly as there are only 2 of us. Well after a year some of the chairs had food spots and dirt. And one chair that had a loose leg and it was only used maybe 6 times. I called the warranty company who mailed out a cleaning product. I tried to clean up the stains but the fabric is now discolored. I recalled the warranty company about the continued stain and they said the product only was for food stains and I also advised them about the loose leg they said it was not covered. Originally also when the store delivered our chairs last year a few chairs were wobbly. The deliver guy told my husband they would settle down flat. 2 have not. So I feel ripped off being told the warranty would cover things when it did not and the delivery guys not caring enough to make things right when the chairs were delivered. NOTE to self: Do not buy the warranties that are offered and go by my gut feeling about things. --- I will say Ashley Furniture reached out to me. Basically said they could do nothing for me. Again NOTE TO SELF: Do not buy the warranties and don't buy something if I have any doubts or reservations even with the salesperson saying the right words. read more

I purchased a home full of furniture. I have a mattress that slopes on both ends and you can not sleep on it and a reclining sofa that hits the floor when reclined. I spent 2 hours on the phone- after given the run around for 4 months...No one will do anything to help. They had a tech come to take pictures, then told me I needed to take pictures. Ashley Furniture contacted me and allowed me to select different furniture. I was able to pick out something I liked more, but it was still a big hassle. The saleswoman that assisted us was very kind and helpful. However, the reselect policy requires that you spend at least as much as the original order. All items purchased must be furniture as well. There was a sale going on that would have made our purchase less than the original. Luckily they were able to just charge us regular price, which ended up being about $100 more than our original order. I was not happy about paying more money to them after such a bad experience, but at least we were able to trade in so it could be worse. read more

I have received multiple "potential " delivery dates that have been pushed back September, October, November, and now December. I called customer service spoke with Brandia and was told our couches would be delivered in two weeks (Early November). I called the next weekend to find out from Mark at the call center (who was rude and told me if I wanted to talk to a manager I had to go into Ashley) there were no notes if I really even called. I went into Ashley and the manger said Mark is probably from another state so he can't help what Mark says. Is there call center not accountable?? Then the manager promised a callback that I have still not received. Wow! What more can I say? Shop else where! read more

Just moved from Arizona and found this gem. We only buy from Ashley's and we're so glad to find this specific store. Ashley has great employees; Doc and manager David are the absolute best!!! Friendly, helpful, information and made us feel like family. I would recommend this store for all your furniture needs. Ask for Doc!! Delivery Update: Delivery was a breeze. I received an email about two days before the actual delivery, giving me a time frame or window. Aside from the email, I received a text message about 10 mins before the delivery. No Couches, on the 3rd delivery date, now going to take 2 1/2 months for couches that were in stock! My wife ordered two couches online in the middle of May with the middle of June delivery date. They charged our account the first part of June. The day before the delivery we called Ashley HomeStore to know what time they would be here. Could not talk to anyone, a recording said (when we put in the order number) that the couches were not coming until July 15th. I left a voicemail for someone to call back. No one called back. We now have received an email that the delivery is now pushed back again until July 30th. The other strange thing is that the website says they will not charge us until the furniture has been sent out, or delivered. They charged us the first part of June. They are now paid. Yet no couches till July 30 which will be 2 1/2 months. so confused, and you can not talk to anyone. UPDATE!!!: I noticed that when the company responded to the the reviews, they gave an email address. I emailed that email address and received a nice answer back that someone was going to reach out to me. They did. They told me by voicemail that I should have read the fine print. That the original delivery date that I was given by the company was bogus. And that they are doing a good job. (and still you cannot talk to anyone) SO WHEN THE SITE SAYS: In Stock and ready for delivery... customer service is saying that is bogus. read more

Ordered furniture mid December. No delivery by feb! Called for updates and to get an appt for delivery. Kept leaving messages and/or getting run around. Cancelled order w manager (who was professional and apologized at least). Went next door to schewels and picked up a good deal immediately and took it home that day. I wish I could give negative stars. we bought a couch 2 years ago and the protection plan. This Christmas Eve ( 2022), the lumbar piece of wood broke in half. The protection plan doesn't cover the frame and Ashely furniture will not come and fix our couch. Keep in mind we have had the couch for 2 years. Terrible service! They lied and said there would be no interest on the payments towards a mattress! The "financing" option is a CREDIT CARD! Saying the payment would be 80$/month. That's the minimum for the credit card. Both of our credits dropped more than 50 points because of this "financing"! Will never go to them again. We did not end up finding what we wanted, but wanted to give a quick review about the experience we had just browsing for furniture. We were immediately greeted by Nick when we came in the store and we told him what we were looking for. He showed us multiple chair ideas and smaller sofas that could possibly work for our small room. He gave some very good suggestions, which we still need to think about. After a horrible experience with another furniture store it was so welcoming to be acknowledged by a sales person who listened and directed us toward what we needed instead of letting us roam aimlessly around the store. If we do decide to go with Ashley Furniture we will definitely be asking for Nick. read more

I would have awarded 5 stars as the piece of furniture, sideboard buffet, is beautiful and the in store service was top notch. There was a glitch with delivery. All was perfect, or so I thought, until I went to readjust the shelf levels to my liking after delivery put them in. Although I was watching them doing that, there was no way for me to see that one of the tiny shelf brackets was not a bracket at all but a screw they sort of "rigged." Here is the problem. . . . They should have told me. Simple. . . just say, we are missing the proper bracket. We can put in this screw temporarily. We advise you call the store for replacement or whatever the procedure should be. Tried putting this info on the survey Ashley e-mailed but it would not submit. I called the store and was assured they would get back to me by end of business day which they did not. read more

I wish I could give them 0. I ordered online and the bed frame I received had manufacturing errors. I had to go through a long process to get the bed frame approved for return which took over a week. I had to keep calling trying to get somebody who knew how to help. One customer service representative tried telling me that I Needed to bring the furniture to any donation center like a church or Goodwill and when I got the receipt from them I send it to Ashley Homestore to get reimbursed. She also wouldn't send me these instructions via email. Felt sketchy. So I called back for another representative. Then they scheduled a day to pickup the frame for return which got rescheduled two times. Apparently they call you a few days in advance to confirm the pickup. I missed the call and it went to voicemail because there is no caller ID that says Ashley Homestore. Even though I called back to confirm, my pickup got pushed back another week. This happened twice. I'm NEVER ordering from Ashley Homestore again. What an awful experience. read more

I was put on hold for over 10 min then hung up on, called back took me 3 times to get through to be put on hold again for 29 mins to then get hung up on and now I have called 50 times in a row to ringing and no answer..
