Will definitely report them to the NYC DCWP

Richair is part of Mitsubishi's Diamond Elite contractor program. Mitsubishi put me in contact with Richair as they were the closest to me geographically. Their office contacted me and scheduled my appointment. The process was simple and straight forward and they answered all of my questions along the way. I have been using the heat pumps for 2 years now and I am extremely impressed with the performance of the machines. I remember during the installation the crew was extremely neat and respected my property. They covered the entire area with plastic and cleaned up after installation. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is interested in installing a heat pump.

At the end of summer I usually call them to have them remove it so I can close the window. Yet this time I was cheap and didn't call them to remove the unit. During the recent snow storm we got major drafts coming in that made it uncomfortably cold. So I called Joe and he had his guys out here in a jiffy to remove the unit. I think I'm finally gonna go w one of his custom installs for my parents house so I don't have to have them back out to remove it. Thanks Joe your team has been Epic!

Took a few follow up calls to get them to commit to coming the next day. However, they did not respond to texts or calls when asking for an ETA or whether they would commit to actually turning up. I expressed concern that we had children and needed a response, one way or another, so we could move on to find a solution urgently. We have two small children and our Saturday was left waiting for them to show up. They never turned up or called back. This is foundational courtesy and basic in business. I would not recommend based on professionalism. Also, they do not have a physical business location on Google Maps. It's just pinned to a random building. So usually means not an established business and more of a bunch of guys in vans taking calls.

After the repair, both outdoor control panels were left open and unsecured for months, exposing the electrical components to the weather. Recently, both systems failed. I have repeatedly contacted Eco Air by phone and email, but they have not responded or accepted responsibility. I have now had to pay multiple diagnostic fees and face substantial repair costs. I will be pursuing legal remedies to recover my damages. I am sharing my experience so other homeowners can make an informed decision.
