i bought a we vibe product from this store for over $100 for the main selling point of long distance play and the product doesnt work as described. They told me if I had any issues i can go to the manufacturer and get it resolved before I bought it but thats wasn't the case and obviously a return is not on the table but im SURE they knew others ran into the same issues before and didn't discourage me or let me know before buying it... i am extremely upset and disappointed, this kind of thing is what usually turns me away from sex stores, you assume all risks for defective products. read more

Most shops like this are run by het men to appeal to het men and want women to fit in the box or if they don't then they don't care. I have shopped at the Eugene location of "As You Like It" MANY times with friends and partners alike, and every time it has always been a delightful experience! I've gotten everything from packers and binders to personal items in the bedroom, and have also gotten some wonderful queer artwork there as well! I'm not sure if it was the owner or just an employee who I interacted with but she was great. She answered any questions I had and gave me information on some of their products. They have a wide variety of items for all different kinds of people. Everything was organized well and the layout worked well even though the shop isn't very big. I also heard they have workshops sometimes. They sit back from the main Street (W 11th) with their parking lot right in front so you might miss them when you drive by (just look for their sign on the sidewalk). When I heard about As You Like It, I was so happy to know I wasn't the only person who feels this way! I love being able to go in to a place knowing they've already taken care of the product research aspect and I can trust what is on the shelf. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and informative and I felt very comfortable. (I've definitely been to adult stores where the guy behind the counter is eyeballin' my purchase and that just gets weird.) Definitely a safe place, zero judgement, and good products! The only thing I'd recommend is more mid-price selection. There are many expensive, higher-end toys, and although there were some options, I would love to see more things in the $20-$40 range.
