Mind you the reason I remembered this local place is during our recent Ice storm they kept heaters going and food for those who needed it and shelter. I wanted to go spend my money somewhere that definitely deserves it! When we got there they were so kind, the place is sooo clean and has everything! We were able to sit on the patio and watch the UFC fights, have food and drinks. We ended up staying for hours we liked it so much. The owner stopped by and was very kind and so friendly. ALSO their pretzel.. you have to get!! I'm a pretzel person and obviously a foodie; best one I've ever had!!!! With the beer cheese sauce with just a hint of spice! This place is so current with tons of screens everywhere, lots of games to play, all different sorts of seating, a full bar, the list goes on. I would highly recommend. Plus a huge thank you for giving back to the community when people needed it most! I will be back!! Tomorrow I do know they're hosting the Super Bowl!

Upon the bartender's suggestion I go with the jackfruit tacos. They were quite alright aka two corn tortillas filled with generous portions of fajita style grilled jackfruit, topped with cabbage, pico de gallo and our signature avocado crema sauce sprinkled with queso fresco. I decided to add vegan crema and non-dairy cheese for a buck. It hit the spot. I did feel like a fish out of water with all the screens showing baseball as basketball is my jam. The bartender was really friendly/easy to talk to and I wanted to try an Oregon-brewed beer, which he directed me to. I can only speak on the indoor area, which was spacious and comfortable. Expectations were set somewhere between "drunken caterwauling" and "mildly painful nostalgia." Color me... surprised! Let's cut to the chase: the *talent* here. Eugene, who knew? Several performers weren't just "good for karaoke," they were legitimately, bafflingly excellent. Like, "should probably be charging admission or at least bothering Broadway agents" levels. One individual in particular possessed the kind of voice that makes you wonder why they're belting show tunes in a dimly lit Eugene bar on a Friday and not, you know, on a stage where people pay actual money. It was impressively non-awful. Actually, scratch that. It was great. Shockingly so. Drinks? Perfectly serviceable. Major points for the extensive non-alcoholic menu. They seemed genuinely willing to de-booze pretty much anything on request, which is handy if you're the designated listener to Eugene's hidden musical theatre gems.
