It's huuuge! Tou could spend all day and still not see and play with every feature. Only complaint is the bathroom. It does have child seats (super helpful) but it is difficult to get to from several of the areas so your little might not make it. They always had 2 people walking around and cleaning things. Most amazing, I must have dropped my kids sweater and only noticed when it was time to go. I thought I'd have to spend 10-15 minutes going through the whole place looking for it but there it was on the coat rack, placed there by a staffer who came across it. read more

Nice place for children to use their imagination and play together-meeting friends along the way and learning to boot!

My daughter had a great time exploring the museum. There are many things for her to do, many of which held her attention for ten minutes or more. She especially likes the Legos and the topography table. She keeps asking to go back. read more

I took my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter and found lots for her to experience. She played for about 1 1/2 hours before we went to have lunch and then came back to play again afterwards. Just make sure to have your hand stamped. read more

The owner of this place is very rude and couldn't hold herself for an adult conversation, instead, SHE THREW MY CARD AT ME! Immature and aggressive behavior for a place for the kids?! how many people here would agree that there is no reason to charge $7!! a parent of a 9 yo? (btw we have lego at home, I've played enough ) Besides it was the first day of 1PASS CARD and she shouldn't be so mean right away. Parents who are not planning to swim at Amazon pool can go there for free and supervise their kids. Get Air will not charge you if you are not jumping. This place is so tiny also, you can stand outside of the doors and still see your kid playing NEVER COMING BACK and do not recommend it to anyone! read more

We had a wonderful time at the museum! Our little one ran all over and particularly enjoyed the pirate ship to climb on, the tennis ball machines, the grocery store/farm setup, giant light board, and building a house. The grownups found it clean and organized. Staff was kind and masked to help keep everyone healthy. There is hand sanitizer throughout the area. They have a nice diaper changing station in the back that offers privacy and a comfortable place for littles to lay down if needed. 10/10 would go again! Thank you for a great time! read more

Cute little spot located in the mall. Very small exhibits and a little cluttered. It's interesting that they make adults pay for entry as they are really there to watch the kiddos, but that common for these types of places. It was $5 per person (adult/child) if you don't have a membership. They did have employees walking around disinfecting stations and toys. There also provide disposable adult masks and washable cloth children masks (bonus points). Given their concern for COVID, it bumped my rating to 3 stars. read more

I was a little skeptical at first when I heard about this place and the skepticism even grew when I heard it was at the mall - who ever heard of a children's museum at a mall of all places? But, man I was proven wrong. This place was a treasure trove of goodness for my two very active boys. There are so many cool exhibits to explore and lots of educational booths. We loved our time here! My kids especially loved the craft corner! Lots of scientific based projects to do, along with more imaginative play games. read more

An amazing space for kids of all ages. I've been taking my kids here since they were under a year old. It's set up so that kids can engage with the exhibits in different ways across their developmental stages. And don't let the word exhibit fool you. This isn't a go and look at things place. It's a go, interact, play, touch, and build kind of place. Whether your child is one year old and content to bash play food on the ground or six years old and wants to engage in scavenger hunts or more advanced play, there is something here for everyone. The staff are always on top of cleaning and disinfecting while the museum is open. It's one of the few places I was still comfortable going even in the middle of the pandemic because their standards are so high. I really can't recommend this place enough. I do wish they were open earlier as their hours are right in prime lunch/nap time for younger kids. read more

My toddler had a great time here. Lots of variety and different ways to interact. There are a few complaints below that they charge for adults. Every children's museum and activity center charges for adults! How do you think they can keep the lights on and pay rent? I just came back from the east coast where there was a children's museum that charged adults over $20 and I have seen more than that too plus parking. So really this place is totally fair. read more

We have visited several children's museum in different states and this one is great! Tons to do and really unique exhibits. I'm not sure why anyone would make a negative review about the cost- if adults were free, the kid price would need to increase because it's very affordable! I also like that the adult price gives a bit of a discount to anyone wrangling kids by themselves. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone with young kids! We love this place! Thursday's at 11am they have a music time and Fridays at 11am a story. My toddlers love playing with the vet area, the bakery, and dress up. The workers keep it picked up and clean. They also rotate in new activities and areas periodically, so it's not exactly the same all of the time. We bought the family pass and come often. This place is amazing! It's located at Valley River Center upstairs near the movie theater and for $4 per person over 2 years old you get all day access! There's so much for your little ones to do. My children and I have visited this museum a few times and previously had a positive experience. Unfortunately, we will not be returning after my son attended a birthday there. I was informed by another parent that as some of the boys got a bit rowdy, any child whose parent was not there was made to sit on a bench until they arrived. I understand that children must behave, however other parents mentioned my son was not an instigator, yet he was made to sit there by himself. This was a birthday party for kindergartners, so things like this will happen. When you own a business that caters to this age group, there will be times when children act out or get a bit rowdy, so you need to be prepared to handle these instances in a professional manner. Parents mentioned that the women there were "grouchy and rude" and "really did not handle the situation well". read more

If your kids are like mine, they go a bit crazy staying inside when the weather isn't the greatest. Your solution is Adventure Children's Museum. They have plenty of space and toys for everyone and can keep kiddos occupied for literally hours. It's fantastic. My only criticism is that adults also have to pay the entrance fee... This is a great addition to our community, made even better (and bigger) with their recent addition. It's very affordable - at about half the price of the children's museum in Salem, I thought there was almost as much to do though it doesn't have a playground like the Gilbert House. Love this place! I do think my kids are a little young to understand a lot of the activities here (ages 2 & 1) but they still had a blast. The price is also very reasonable in my opinion. The staff was also on top of it. I think this is just a fantastic place! not only was there a little stage that kids can dress up and perform with an art area, dinosaur agricultural digging and education, a camping display all sorts of fun stuff there also a place for my little guy to crawl around safely. This place is very cute and the perfect place to take the little one(s) if the weather outside is cold/rainy. It is located on the upper level of Valley River Center Mall near the movie theaters. It's small but clean, well staffed and with plenty of things to to keep kids engaged and entertained. Our daughter especially enjoyed the around the world sets and in particular the Japan exhibit. The museum was started a few years ago and staffed with volunteers but has grown over time. I've read some negative reviews from people who said it didn't impress them. Well, if they could do better with these resources and space constraints--more power to them. Our two year old throughly enjoyed herself and the people working there (Hana in particular) were very attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the entrance fees were modest and fair. We will definitely come back the next time in Eugene! FYI: Valley River Center Mall (VRC) is still going strong and is a safe, clean place to take the family. There is a good food court near the museum and an open children's play area too. Not bad inside options for the kids when it is nasty outside. read more
