This is a really lovely little children's store. When I entered I was greeted by the employee who let me shop leisurely and without pressure. Their stuff isn't cheap by any means, but it's really adorable. They have the gamut of baby and children's items, including some small toys and stuffed animals, books, clothing, and so on. I bought a really adorable little dress that I'm hoping will fit my high-percentile little one! I don't think they allow returns, but they do exchanges. If you're buying for a new baby, or just want something special for your little one, Bambini is definitely worth a stop. read more

This is my favorite store for my kiddos. Shannon, the owner, will bend over backward to make sure you and your child leave happy. She is so personable and always remembers me by name, asks how the kids are, etc. She is genuine. That's the best way to describe her. I fell in love with a pair of herringbone patterned pants from Tea but my son's size wasn't on the rack. She ordered them ... gave me the sale price from the Tea website ... plus free shipping. She's also recently started carrying locally made goodies (yay for shopping small!) for us mamas too! Great service. Great selection. Great local shop. Such a fun store. The Tea collection has got to be one of the cutest ever. I like to come by often and see what's on sale! Nice selection of toys. Really really sweet staff. I absolutely LOVE this store. It's really nice to have a local baby boutique that carries such high quality clothing and toys and caters to the health and earth conscious parent. I have to stop myself from walking in there because I know that it's impossible to not walk out with something. There's sale items at awesome discounts. The owner is super friendly and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. My daughter always gets complimented on her clothes. They have lovely toys too and I've bought some stuffed animals for her there. We take one with us everywhere because she loves it so much. You can also find books, teething toys, food prep stuff etc. really there is a wide selection and one can tell that everything is carefully curated. I really wish I could just buy everything there. This update is LONG over due! Bambini has changed since I first went there 4 years ago! There are a lot of stores around town that claim to have unique things for your kid, but Bambini truly delivers. Cute clothes, great shoes, and those locally made kitchens are adorable! They have a nice selection if local goods mixed with other healthy kids items for a truly one-of-kind shopping experience. You will not suffer from sensory overload here! They seem to have reorganized a bit after getting rid of the used clothing section. It feels much cleaner and less crowded. I also really appreciate the response to my previous review with the offer to price match. Every time I have shopped here I've had a great customer service experience. A lot of the stuff here is still out of my price range, but they have some great sales. I'd say they have more sales and deals than most other locally owned/operated shops in town. Why not 5 stars? Bambini has a little of this and a little of that, but not a lot of anything. Sometimes they just don't have quite what I am looking for, or they don't have the right size or color. They've offered to order things for me before, but I've never taken them up on it. I usually don't want to wait for shipping. I wish yelp would let me give 4.5 stars. read more

Bambini certainly is a niche boutique, and it isn't a one stop baby store. You're not going to find car seats and disposable diapers, but you will find the one store in town that sells beautiful Tea Collection clothes, and a wonderful assortment of wooden toys locally made toys and clothes, skin products and a nice shoe selection. I first discovered Bambini because they carry some of my favorite children's clothing lines like Tea Collection and Kate Quinn Organics. Time and time again, I have been so impressed by Shannon's (the owner) customer service and knowledge of safe and healthy baby and children's products. She has become a trusted resource when I shop for my daughter in the often dizzying world of children's gear etc and introduced me to new products that have been very useful. Furthermore, she prices matches Amazon, Tea's website, etc so you get all the wonderful service of shopping small while still getting good prices. read more

Eugene is richer for having a nice children's boutique like Bambini downtown, with wooden toys and nice clothes. A couple reviewers complain about prices, yes you can find cheap baby clothes at Walmart or Target (and sorry to any ultra-pc Eugenians but we shop there too!) but the items Bambini stocks that we've price compared are generally the same price as any online retailer, so clearly they are reasonable whether or not they are in everyone's budget. And they have sales. Staff have always been friendly with us. It's a good place to bring the grandparents too. We prefer Bambini to the other toy stores in the downtown vicinity and hope they stay around with success. read more

This is the only place in town to go if you want quality, top level customer service, and a local store owner from Eugene. Shannon the owner, helped me get registered for a baby shower I was having and we found the most amazing stuff to add to the list. Most of her items were purchased from local makers, she had a vast knowledge of the products she carries and was very nice to explain anything i asked about. I personally like to find local, organic, all natural products for my kids and she has it all. Thanks to generous friends and family I got everything (plus some) on my list. I got some duplicates and it was no problem at all to exchange anything I got for what I wanted at the store. I love this store and am only sorry I did not find it until now! I love this place, yes it's pricey at times, but she has sales quit often and is always friendly. Most items here have a great resale price on them as well. High quality toys and gear including wooden toys, Green toys, tula carriers, etc. Lots of gear for teethers, bottles, lunch organizers, etc. Typical prices for these high-end items. Here's the catch - if you have a boy, there's not much for you here. Great, high quality clothing for girls but zero clothing options for boys. So if you're a mom of boys, you're out of luck unless you are looking for toys or gear which works for all babies and kids. read more

Bambini is a wonderful shop for all of your quality made children's clothing and accessories. I came here to buy a present for my friend's new baby girl and I'm happy I don't have kids of my own yet because I would have tried to buy everything in here! The clothes are so soft and adorable! I chose a onesie with elephants wearing tutus and also snagged a 50% off a flowered onesie. They have a whole rack of discounted clothes outside so check that out first! They have many options of safe teething toys, water bottles, safe plastic toys, shoes, swaddle blankets, hats and more. The prices are on the higher end but that's to be expected when buying higher quality clothes, especially as a gift! There is metered street parking right outside as well and the woman working was very sweet and helpful. I even was given a choice of different gift bags for free which I appreciated. I would suggest having tissue paper to wrap the clothing in though since it was a gift but that's not a deal breaker. read more

I went to this place expecting to pay full price, but the pricing wasn't excessive at all, and they had plenty of sale items. Salesgirl helped me find new pants for Miss Naked in a jiffy. My husband and I went in to do our baby registry. Its a pretty exciting event and we were really in a happy nesting phase. We were the only people in the store and we excitedly said we were there to register. There were two women working and the one at the counter told is thats its really tedious to do it in the store, because she has to hand write all the items, and its much faster to do online... I told her we weren't in a hurry. But she assured me it was easier online. So, we went through the store and wrote down the items and took pictures, all the things that were too much work for her to do. (Might I add there were two women working and we were the only ones in the store!) We kept laughing to ourselves because it seemed totally insane to be in the store and told to go home and do it. The main attraction to local small business is the in person experience and the the customer service. This is Bambini's niche. Why would they tell a custom to go home and do it online!? AND then, when we did get home, half the stuff wasn't even on the website. We gave up. Good job Bamini! read more

We are so lucky to have Bambini in Eugene! This store carries the best, highest quality products for very, very reasonable prices. The owner always price matches everything!! How can you go wrong with that?? She also works at the store every day, so she is in touch with almost every single person who walks through her doors, cares about their needs and concerns and is beyond willing to help in any way she can provide her clientele with what they need. She is extremely knowledgable not only about children's products, but also about child rearing, mama and baby health and wellness, and serves as an amazing resource for our community regarding all things mama and baby. She is not only a mother to three lovely children, but also holds a degree in early childhood education. Hard to be more qualified than that, in my opinion, to advise on the best toys, clothes, diapers, nursing supplies, baby items, shoes, rain gear, and well just basically all things kiddo and pregnant/ new mama! Bambini carries many lovely locally made products, such as Xylem clothing and Twig shoes just to name a couple, as well as the most popular products on the national/ international market for the discerning parent who is concerned about healthy, happy children. The toy selection is amazing, from baby to tween!! And the clothes...well as a mom of a 5 year old little girl, I can say that I am sooo glad that Bambini is one of our local children's stores as they are the exclusive carrier in our area of the amazing Tea Clothing line. There are many days my daughter is in head-to-toe Bambini, including socks and shoes (Smart Wool and Twig!!). Many people only dream of having such an all encompassing, well-rounded children's store which strives to support local artisans as well as provide products that are hard to find, except online. I would much rather walk in, touch, feel, smell, and try something on my kiddo that I can get for the same price as online, and know that I am supporting a local family, or many local families, with my business. I've shopped occasionally at this store over the years. It has always been priced higher than retail. Most recently I went in and they charge $19.50 for a diaper cover that should be $14.95. I've heard their excuse that it's because they pay for shipping. Well other retailers also pay for their items to be shipped to them and they don't mark the prices up like that. I could understand paying an extra dollar or two for a small, local store, but the way they price things here really is outrageous. The owner is rude and lacks customer service skills. I know several people who refuse to shop in there at all. read more

My husband and I had our first child less than a month ago, and we were thrilled to find a cute store in Eugene to shop at. The store is small yet filled with many organic and cute items (extremely over priced). Being first time parents we were sold on organic onsie that was $27.00 in price. Once we got home, and I gave it a wash on COLD before trying it on my son - we wash everything before giving it to our son, since he is only three weeks old, and also because the tag suggests it!!- and noticed that the arm holes were too tight for him to put on. We were very disappointed and gave the owner a call, and she stated that she would not be able to do ANYTHING since we washed it. Truly I was not expecting anything in return, but only to have her advise her customers of this issue, but she was extreme unpractical and said she never washes anything before giving it to her three children!!! And told me I must have washed it on HOT!!! I could not believe how rude she was... Mothers, don't get me wrong, it is a cute store just be sure to try it on you children before buying and leaving the store since she does not stand behind any of her items... And be sure to never wash anything before giving it to your precious children!!! How crazy. I will never spend my money there again.
