The Melissa and Dave brand toys are no more expensive than what you would find at Toys R Us, while the quality is noticeably better. The clothes are adorable, and again, comfortable to any "kid" label. What's really nice, however is the staff who run the place. They are so helpful and pleasant. Seriously, the store itself has a really mellow and happy feel to it. The staff aren't too busy to answer questions, the bring sales and deals to your attention, but don't hover. The store is moving from VRC to Gateway in July. From what I was told, they are expanding into resale as well. I'm really exited about this. As a grandma, I like to buy good second hand toys to keep in my house for visits. I genuinely recommend this business. It's such a great place and a nice alternative to the other "boutique" kids' store in town, where prices are much higher and service is much less a priority.

She went out of her way to be helpful and work out a deal so I could afford something. I truly appreciate that, thank you! I'm excited for their new app to track purchases and rewards. They're all so stuck up and snooty. I brought in SO many new clothes and they didn't take hardly anything. I even took the time to nicely fold everything in sets and pairs, and make everything as nice and presentable as possible per their guidelines. I'm very particular myself on what I think is acceptable for used clothing when shopping for my son. I would have gone to goodwill if I felt it was necessary. I will be shopping at Peppypotamus from here on out until this place gets a new set of faces. This store's energy is so unwelcoming. I'm disappointed with how they run, and I think I would be a lot less sour if i was at-least greeted upon entering the store. Absolute shit show there. Do not shop there.

I was out doing errands and grocery shopping, and my umbrella broke. And of course since it's Eugene, a torrential downpour started. Rather than risk the chance of my purse getting ruined from the rain, I stopped in here before I headed over to Trader Joe's to look for an umbrella. And sure enough, they had a variety of umbrellas to choose from! I ended up getting a good quality umbrella here for $12.99, whereas the cheapest umbrellas across the way at Bed, Bath and Beyond were $18.99. Not to mention, my new green chevron print umbrella is far cuter than the plain black ones at BBB. In a city with a sad excuse for a mall (the Valley River Center, that is), this is one of the few places where you can get good quality clothes, shoes, accessories, and more.

They have a wide selection of different fits, washes, and styles for their men's jeans. Cons: Employee-customer service relations are lacking. If you appreciate when an associate greets you at the door and/or offers to help you find a product or help you style an outfit, this is not the place to go. I imagine Old Navy can get away with its mediocre customer service because their clothing is priced to sell at a competitive rate. Another con is the store's cleanliness. Visual standards here are pretty low; when I was trying to help my boyfriend find his size in jeans, it took much longer than it should have taken to locate a pair because the denim wall was disheveled, out of order, and the way in which they fold their jeans makes it difficult to easily access the sizing sticker on the leg. Another con about this store is the dressing rooms. The "quick change" dressing rooms are convenient in the sense that they're dispersed throughout the store, but not good for when you try something on and it doesn't fit. Where are you supposed to put your go-back items? No associate is there to take them off your hands, so I guess they expect you to put it back yourself? While I wouldn't buy clothes for myself here, their jeans seemed to fit my boyfriend's standards, so for that they receive an "A-OK" from me.

Bambini is an awesome little store in Eugene Oregon. The friendly staff are well informed about the products and were happy to teach me how to use them. I wanted to learn about cloth diapering and went into this store knowing very little. Well, I left with everything I needed to cloth diaper my little one including confidence, thanks to the lady at Bambini. I love their selection of organic children's clothing and toys an their resale stuff is great too! I'm a big fan of stores that will let you trade in your used stuff for other used stuff! As my kids grow I'm able to exchange their quality used clothes for trade in credit and get them bigger better stuff. Plus when my new baby started teething I needed safe teethers and found many to experiment with at this great little shop. Bambini is the place to go in Eugene for for great quality, unique (often local) clothing and supplies for you littles. We were very concerned about making sure our kids had BPA free bottles, cups etc. and Bambini met all our needs. We decided to use cloth diapers, because we could not stand the thought of all that waste in the landfill. I must admit, although my partner was all for the idea, I was nervous about the choice at first (I don't deal well with poop!), but with advice and the right supplies from Bambini and their staff, I was an expert in no time. And it was not nearly as bad as I expected. As new parents we had tons of questions about the best carriers, diapers, etc. and Shannon, the owner, was super helpful and always had time for us. Best baby store on earth. Tea collection is my favorite clothing and this is the ONLY place for hundreds of miles to get it. They dont sell used anymore, but that is fine because they now have new clothing for $10.00 or less, so its cheaper than the same used item, but new... My favorite place to shop by far. I buy all my gifts, shoes, and clothing for my kids here. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Best deals ever on shoes too, i just got a $60.00 pair of shoes for $20.00 in the sale corner! If you dont love great quality goods for your kids, this is not the shop for you. These items too tend to be more high-end but totally worth it for the quality and saftey of the items in this store. I am a frequent Bambini customer and the owner is always willing to go above and beyond for her clients. I went in with my daughter tonight and Shannon noticed that my daughter's lovey was hanging on my a thread. Literally. I mentioned that they no longer make the specific lovey and that I was having trouble finding a replacement on eBay or any other site. She immediately pulled up Aden and Anais and the merchandise that she had access to. She found the lovey in a gift set and offered to let me purchase just the lovey because we aren't in need of swaddles. Seriously, the best customer service. We love Bambini and have been shopping there for years! The staff and owner are always very nice and helpful and take the time to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. I have missed sales in the past and the owner has been kind enough to open them up so I can get a great deal. I have never kept them myself and the two people I know who have birds do not cage them. I still feel sick by what I saw.

There were lots of "Free People" clothing items here, and artisan jewelry pieces. I had the feeling this was a smaller, more intimate take on an "Anthropologie" shop - and certainly more local!

I love sweet trapeze dresses and bralettes! I purchased a dress from G+G this month and I'm really excited to wear it once the weather warms up. I was bummed to find that a lot of my favorite items were sold out in my size; however, I was advised to ask the sales associate for help because they do carry some backstock as well! The prices are also not bad for the quality. My cute little dress was $38. Im excited to check back in once some more styles arrive.

So when I found out they could help me with jewelry repair I was very excited!! I had been looking forever for help. Staff are ALWAYS very Nice! They are always accommodating and they do beautiful work. In the past I had been turned down from Jewelers because while my metal is not 100% gold. I do have genuine gemstones and a lot of silver. That is why I'm so excited I found Harlequin. They are more than happy to help out, give suggestions and their turnaround time is exceptional. I would highly recommend Harlequin as a place for beads, classes and repairs.

I just moved to Eugene and wouldn't you know, the string broke again, so I checked Yelp and found Harlequin. What a nice store and what friendly service. The job was done within a couple of days (I think I got lucky) and the price was fair. When I returned to pick them up, I bought a necklace for my daughter and some supplies so my granddaughter could make a bracelet. Great experience all around.
