They moved to E 8th St in Eugene. Absolutely ridiculous spot for a business. Don't even know how to get in the parking lot. Well that's because they only have 3 spots in front of the building. Park by Marshall's and the entrance to the inside of the mall is to the left. You go into the mall and it's to the left before you get to Cabela's. You only get IN STORE credit, no cash. It's big inside with rows of clothes and shoes. Some strollers, bassinets and misc toys. There is a little play area inside which makes it nice. The things were a bit pricey for resale. Like used non-brand shoes for almost $10. read more

I have visited Peppy on several occasions to buy for 2 year old and 4 year old as well as make both clothing and book donations. The owner of the store had always been there before. All around helpful and pleasant. However, on my most recent visit, the two ladies working seemed generally annoyed by me stopping by with a tub of clothes for trade (as well as a large bag for donation). I had previously called to inquire if there were any specific times for trades, etc. and was told there was not. I had many new with tag items (I had already taken out all the Wal-Mart brands and offered those as donation along with Children's Place). They were "interested" in about 30-40 pieces (10 of those pieces were new with tags) and noted that the other items they were not interested in were dirty and stained. The cash offer was very low but it's consignment so I understand. The trade offer wasn't that much better but I took it as I had put so much time and effort into organizing outfits. I ended up buying a few items and the ladies working just seemed annoyed as heck that I was still there. It was the middle of the day so they were getting ready to close. I now have store credit and don't know that I will go back. I had great experiences before but this one was bad enough to keep me from going back. I took the other items they didn't like to another kids consignement store off Coburg Rd. They offered me twice as much for less items and weren't rude at all. To summarize: if you aren't interested in items, you don't have to be rude. If someone is buying items in your store and donating for free clothes day maybe say thank you. read more

This store has so much going for it: First, it had really adorable clothes and toys...and unlike a lot of boutique stores, the prices aren't outrageous. The Melissa and Dave brand toys are no more expensive than what you would find at Toys R Us, while the quality is noticeably better. The clothes are adorable, and again, comfortable to any "kid" label. What's really nice, however is the staff who run the place. They are so helpful and pleasant. Seriously, the store itself has a really mellow and happy feel to it. The staff aren't too busy to answer questions, the bring sales and deals to your attention, but don't hover. The store is moving from VRC to Gateway in July. From what I was told, they are expanding into resale as well. I'm really exited about this. As a grandma, I like to buy good second hand toys to keep in my house for visits. I genuinely recommend this business. It's such a great place and a nice alternative to the other "boutique" kids' store in town, where prices are much higher and service is much less a priority. read more

My favorite store to trade in my kids clothes. They give a good trade value and do not have a bunch of rules. Other places in town require only their containers or specific bags and boxes....very annoying. They also trade 7 days a week & on Sundays they take all the donated clothes and give them away to whoever needs them. This place makes it easy and the owners are so nice! I've been to this store many many times and love it, they offered a good trade value each and every time I donated. The last donation I made I got a lady who I had never seen before, she was rude, questioned me and then completely lowballed my items that were almost all new, like totes and totes of items (my kids dress well) I'll never bring clothes back here again after that incident and will just take my things straight to the women's shelter to donate. read more

My very first review!!! With a new granddaughter, we have shopped this wonderful store many times! The clothes are displayed so well, and choices are awesome! The new little camp area is adorable and I know that it will be a delightful place for my granddaughter to play when she gets a little older. The staff has been so helpful and, although I have not participated, I know that they have had multiple free giveaway events - which I'm sure really help the local parents stretch their money and get great clothes! I hope to continue to frequent this charming shop in the future read more
