We not only got the part, but Adam helped us install it. He also noticed that a couple of parts on the RC car were installed incorrectly by us. He took the time re-install the parts correctly. Adam went above and beyond by providing us with great customer service! So instead of my son having to wait to use his RC car when we got home, my son can now use his car while we are visiting Eugene! The prices are great and the service is outstanding!!

This shop has been in Eugene for almost 100 years and has been in the hands of a single family (though I think in 2024 the ownership will change). I wonder how many other businesses have remained in Eugene for that long--especially that have remained in a single family for so long (maybe Dot Dotson's?). On my recent visit home I dragged my mom here with the kiddo. The shelves were a bit bare, which was a little sad and I think probably a result of online shopping. But they had some games, modern board games, lots of train stuff, remote control toys, and so on. I bought a cute little stuffed bat for the little one because it was the one she showed interest in out of those I showed her, and it made her laugh when I moved it around and its wings flapped. Haha. I know that Eugene Elites did a volunteer event here which is so awesome. It's great that the shop partnered with them on it. Support local businesses!

Their stuff isn't cheap by any means, but it's really adorable. They have the gamut of baby and children's items, including some small toys and stuffed animals, books, clothing, and so on. I bought a really adorable little dress that I'm hoping will fit my high-percentile little one! I don't think they allow returns, but they do exchanges. If you're buying for a new baby, or just want something special for your little one, Bambini is definitely worth a stop.

They have a good range of stuff, from baby toys on up to stuff for older kids. Coloring books, blocks, toy cars, fidget-spinners, little guitars, and everything in between. It's a big store and nicely designed, so it's fun to walk around and check things out. Of course it's very kid friendly. Given the 5th St. Market location, you probably won't find any bargains. That being said, the prices seem pretty reasonable. It's definitely worth checking out!

This toy store is truly one of my favorite in Oregon. It has a good selection of classic children's toys like Playmobil, Hot Wheels, and Brio. They also have a great selection of children's books and puppets to help foster a child's creative learning. As a side note they also have a few of these classic coin-op rocking animals including an elephant and an Oregon Duck-the mascot for the local university. The staff was great and very knowledgeable about activities appropriate for certain ages and developmental levels.

"Oh, you just started collecting TMNT and don't know about Groo the Wanderer..." Prices are retail for new stuff. A sleeve and board will set you back $0.25. Collectables are priced in line with the Overstreet guide, but they can be a little optimistic on the grading, so margin hard. I have never sold any used comics to them (hoarder!) and I cannot speak to pricing there, but they are legit is every other aspect that I have dealt with this on. In short, this is where I buy my local comics for myself and as gifts.

My husband and I have been playing lots of board games with both friends and family lately. So I had to go check it out. If you're a board game player, need dice for D&D or card sleeves for Star Wars CCG, this place is amazing. They have brand new games, consignment used games, and basically everything you could ever want. The employee working when I went in was super helpful, talked to me a bunch, answered questions, and clearly enjoyed his job. This store is slightly cheaper than buying board games from Barnes and Noble, which is awesome. Usually local stores are more expensive, but that isn't the case here. This makes it even easier to support a small local business and nothing makes me happier than that. Would I return? Repeatedly! I will definitely be back and become a repeat customer. Another great bonus is Xicha and Toxic are just minutes from here. So it's the perfect excuse to grab dinner and a new game for game night in the same trip.

They have several tables set up in the back for folks to play games from the store's collection, or you can bring your own and play. They do have a good store collection if you're looking for something to try, or you can buy something off the shelf and give it a whirl! I was here once with someone who was looking for some novelty version of a Catan or something and the guy seemed a little snooty about it... or maybe it was Tixket to Ride? Anyway it might not be a game he plays but he works in a game shop so it would make sense to know about upcoming releases, and not say that it's not something he's interested in so he doesn't know. Board gamers can be snobby, but TTR is good and though it's not my #1 fave (that's Grand Austria Hotel), it's fun. They do have a really good selection of games here; I picked up my copy of Splendor here, as well as the Lanterns: The Emperor's Gifts expansion, and they have many of the standards like Brass, Catan, Carcassone, Dixit, and so on. I think but don't know if they buy used games, so give them a call if you have them. This store is actually the small one from my understanding. Their flagship is in Medford, which I haven't been to, but I think that's also where their distribution arm is as well. I have Kickstarted a LOT of games and it's always cool to see it's coming from Funagain; feels like supporting a hometown/near hometown business. Parking can be difficult here depending upon the time of day, events happening at the store, and events happening in the neighborhood. Luckily the LTD station isn't too far away so that is a solid transportation alternative.

Sugarfree is always available, Caffeine free is sometimes available, but combining both is rare. The nice lady at the counter told me that she specifically asked the owner to stock a nice variety. I was extremely grateful. As a matter of fact, as I type this from my hotel room in Roseburg, I wish I could have another cold Sierra Mist. But forget about it! Nothing here.

The service is hopefully better with the value but do note that selling any of those will possibly tie you into the legal issues of the closed store. I would advise anyone shopping there not to buy any of those as they might possibly be from a Large collection that was confiscated unlawfully.
