My husband was looking for a small local toy store to go buy a birthday gift for our baby nephew. So this is the store we picked. We'd planned to go to Target as a backup plan. I'd also fully expected we would go in here and find something and have to buy it on Amazon because it would be significantly cheaper. But that wasn't the case, and that made me so happy. Their prices are absolutely reasonable, even for things that are normally insane and overpriced. I was really impressed. The staff that are working clearly love their job and are incredibly helpful. They greeted us when we walked in, let us explore, and answered all of our questions, taking us to certain aisles and showed us things. We were definitely welcomed in the store. We ended up buying two toys for our nephew's first birthday, and I'm definitely coming back when Christmas comes closer. This is such an amazing small local business to support and everyone should take the time to stop by.

We not only got the part, but Adam helped us install it. He also noticed that a couple of parts on the RC car were installed incorrectly by us. He took the time re-install the parts correctly. But they had some games, modern board games, lots of train stuff, remote control toys, and so on. I bought a cute little stuffed bat for the little one because it was the one she showed interest in out of those I showed her, and it made her laugh when I moved it around and its wings flapped. They have a good range of stuff, from baby toys on up to stuff for older kids. Coloring books, blocks, toy cars, fidget-spinners, little guitars, and everything in between. It's a big store and nicely designed, so it's fun to walk around and check things out. Of course it's very kid friendly. Given the 5th St. Market location, you probably won't find any bargains. That being said, the prices seem pretty reasonable. It's definitely worth checking out!

Collectables are priced in line with the Overstreet guide, but they can be a little optimistic on the grading, so margin hard. I have never sold any used comics to them (hoarder!) and I cannot speak to pricing there, but they are legit is every other aspect that I have dealt with this on. In short, this is where I buy my local comics for myself and as gifts.

My husband and I have been playing lots of board games with both friends and family lately. So I had to go check it out. If you're a board game player, need dice for D&D or card sleeves for Star Wars CCG, this place is amazing. They have brand new games, consignment used games, and basically everything you could ever want. The employee working when I went in was super helpful, talked to me a bunch, answered questions, and clearly enjoyed his job. This store is slightly cheaper than buying board games from Barnes and Noble, which is awesome. Usually local stores are more expensive, but that isn't the case here. This makes it even easier to support a small local business and nothing makes me happier than that. Would I return? Repeatedly! I will definitely be back and become a repeat customer. Another great bonus is Xicha and Toxic are just minutes from here. So it's the perfect excuse to grab dinner and a new game for game night in the same trip.

They have several tables set up in the back for folks to play games from the store's collection, or you can bring your own and play. I was here once with someone who was looking for some novelty version of a Catan or something and the guy seemed a little snooty about it... or maybe it was Tixket to Ride? Anyway it might not be a game he plays but he works in a game shop so it would make sense to know about upcoming releases, and not say that it's not something he's interested in so he doesn't know. Board gamers can be snobby, but TTR is good and though it's not my #1 fave (that's Grand Austria Hotel), it's fun. They do have a really good selection of games here; I picked up my copy of Splendor here, as well as the Lanterns: The Emperor's Gifts expansion, and they have many of the standards like Brass, Catan, Carcassone, Dixit, and so on. I think but don't know if they buy used games, so give them a call if you have them. This store is actually the small one from my understanding. Their flagship is in Medford, which I haven't been to, but I think that's also where their distribution arm is as well. I have Kickstarted a LOT of games and it's always cool to see it's coming from Funagain; feels like supporting a hometown/near hometown business. Parking can be difficult here depending upon the time of day, events happening at the store, and events happening in the neighborhood. Luckily the LTD station isn't too far away so that is a solid transportation alternative.

I was extremely grateful. As a matter of fact, as I type this from my hotel room in Roseburg, I wish I could have another cold Sierra Mist. But forget about it! Nothing here.

They don't have much in the way of new or themed sets. They focus more on trades, used Lego sets, and replacement parts and pieces. We ended up buying a couple of new sets here, but they didn't have the specific one I wanted. But this is definitely the place to come if we are missing pieces. This is one of two local businesses specializing in Legos and I found this one to have a much more welcoming vibe to it than the other. It's definitely worth a return visit.

We went in a couple weeks ago and I was kind of amazed at the amount of product inside this store. It is really hard to walk around and actually find anything because it is almost overwhelming. There really is just too much stuff in here for me. If you've ever been to Hot Topic, you will have an idea of what I'm talking about when I say too much product. I was able to find Marvel beanie babies of my favorite Avengers heroes. So I was kind of excited, as I'm decorating my office right now with all my nerd related stuff. They definitely have that going for them! Plus my husband loved his shirt. Customer service was fine. We were left alone to wander the store, and that was perfect. We went back and forth a few times, as my husband and I separated and then wanted to show each other something. We were left to debate a couple of items to purchase before finally deciding on the beanie babies. We weren't really talked to until we went to cash out and pay for everything. When we did, the cashier was nice. Very timid and quiet, but she was friendly and there were no issues. Would I return? Maybe. I'm kind of torn on that one. I seriously do find this store overwhelming because there is so much stuff, but I did find some good stuff too. So yeah, I will probably come back, but only when I am looking for something specific.
