Super fast and efficient service. They have come twice for plumbing issues and have been extremely communicative with scheduling. Also very kind and friendly owner. We've had amazing results from the repairs that have lasted almost a year. Really appreciate this contractor:) read more

This is a very questionable business. Reno Paul Breschi, the owner of the business, lied right in front of my face in order to get money from me. We had to get a second opinion from another contractor. I have detailed records of everything if anyone is interested. read more

We had a water leak issue at our rental property that involved several parties who couldn't figure out where the source was, including our insurance provider. Finally, I decided to pay out of pocket and hired Reno and his team, recommended by our Property Manager. I have heard from family and friends that materials and contractors are very scarce right now, so I was really worried that Reno's team would not be able to accommodate. However, they showed up immediately, gave us an estimate, and started the work a few days later. Even though our tenants were difficult to deal with, (Reno had to come out more times than needed and work was delayed by a few days) he was very patient with the situation. Ultimately, we are very happy with the workmanship and the results of the shower area. Communication is very important to us, especially during stressful times, and Reno's communication is impeccable. I would gladly recommend him to friends and family. read more

Reno and his team did a great job at my house. I had some water damage coming from a water leak in my kitchen that ruined some of the cabinetry and flooring. After inspection the decision was made to remove the damaged cabinetry, and install a whole new set. My family and I wanted this to be as quick and painless as possible especially since this is during school time, everyone's working, and we wouldn't have a kitchen for a while. He proposed some dates that he estimated it would take for the entire process to be complete, including floor install which they also coordinated, and it was very seamless. Time frames were almost spot on, but basically was able to have everything done in about a week and a couple of days. That included removing old cabinet set, have floor panels and floor boards (for entire downstairs) installed, and install brand new cabinet set. Overall, they did a great job - timely, looks great, family's happy. Thanks fellas! read more

The wife and I are getting the house ready to sell and Reno and the crew have been a pure pleasure to work with. Replacing doors, popping in a new heater, paint... Everything has been smooth and stress-free. Quality work, done quickly, and with zero fuss. Having done a bunch of project management work in the past, I can definitely appreciate the work it takes to makes this stuff seamless and they pull it off. If only my other vendors were so well put-together... read more

Reno did a fantastic job on my rental remodel. He came by the next day and recommended what to remodel to increase rent and what not to focus on. I appreciated his point of view. Once remodel got under way he kept me informed as I checked the progress weekly. After it was complete, he was very quick to respond to a few fixes and changes I requested. It was a fantastic job overall and I would definitely use him again. read more

Nah, Nah, This is not a guy you can trust! I first came into contact with this guy because my property management firm used him for maintenance work. He charged me for cleaning gutters on my rental that has screens on the gutters - charging for work that was not done. Then just as my property manager retired Reno began a roofing job on the rental that started at $8,000.00 but as the job progressed and additional charges were added on heading to $16,000.00 on a 1200sqft house, the man was fired. Fees were then already paid when the case was taken to court where the man LIED, LIED and LIED some more. This is a case of dealing with that nightmare contractor that you've always been told about, I learned the hard way you don't have to. RISK, it if you want to but RISK it is!!! read more

Reno and team do an awesome job with maintenance for my management business. I have used him for years on large renovations to small handyman jobs, and they can do it all quickly, and for a great price. The team is easy to get along and work with, and I highly recommend them for anything you might need. It's hard to find good quality workers in this area. I've been doing real estate management for over 5 years so I've seen all different levels --- they're the best. read more

Reno came to my house and preformed the job in a timely manner. He's very nice and easy to talk too. Doesn't feed you a bunch of BS And tell you I'll be back next week to finish the job. I would highly recommend this company and Reno to do your handy work around the home. read more

I am editing this to make sure I am not being shown as unreasonable. I read some reviews today of a contractor we picked who got 1 star because they did not pick up the phone or respond to the first voicemail. Now that is unreasonable. I do not mind when people do not respond to first contact - maybe they are busy, maybe they are sick or whatever. However.... what happened below is unreasonable and unacceptable and unprofessional - hence the 1 star. I called and spoke about our remodeling needs. I was asked to text my address and details and he would call back the evening and schedule a meeting. I did everything promptly. It has been 5 days - no response. Not the kind of person I would waste my time with - hard to believe everybody and their grandmothers get 5 stars ratings on yelp. read more

Reno assisted us with some home inspection repairs including water heater ventilation, electrical outlets, and pipe replacement. He was prompt with replies and when there was a bit of confusion he was upfront and apologetic. I appreciated the prompt responses considering he probably had a lot of larger jobs going on for remodels. read more

Reno helped us with our EMERGENCY situation. Our sewer backed up into our house and a lot of unexpected work needed to be done. We needed to have our carpets ripped out, part of our dry wall cut out and have fans and humidifiers setup to clear out any moisture to eliminate mold. Then we had to have everything restored. Reno was a competent one stop shop that got our house back to normal as quickly as possible. He was easy to communicate with and was transparent with his costs. We will recommend him to our friends and plan to call him for our next, hopefully less urgent, job. read more

Reno performed a lot of work in getting our townhome updated enough to be rented. He was prompt, accessible (responded timely to both e-mail and text messages), and did all the work as described in the estimates. Prices were reasonable and spot on with original estimates. He did exceptional work in the backyard, repairing a miserable fence, power washing the patios, removing a stump, and leveling the "unsafe" areas that might be a liability in a rental situation. Replaced and secured the water heater and furnace, repainted the kitchen... really a jack of all trades when it comes to contracting. Work was also completely in a very timely manner, which I appreciated. Overall, very satisfied with the work performed and the professional demeanor with which he conducts business. Would use again in the future. read more

Reno and his team helped us remodel our guest bedroom after a water leak caused the ceiling to cave in. Reno helped us get our room back in order prior to having our family stay with us for Christmas. We enlisted his help to redo the drywall, redo insulation in the attic, refinish wood floors, retexture and paint the walls. His team was always on time and they finished the project on schedule. We love our refinished room! read more

Reno came out when my two year old water heater began slowly leaking water from an overflow pipe (sorry - not sure what it's actually called). Reno REALLY went to bat for us to get the water heater replaced under warranty when the manufacturer tried to avoid replacement. I could hear him arguing with them on the phone and he wouldn't take no for an answer! He got it replaced under warranty and back up and running quickly. He also called to check in afterwards and to make sure everything was working correctly. I would use Artisan again ANY TIME and highly recommend them. read more

I had them come out to my residence 3 times about a leak all three times the guy who came claims there are no leaks. Today he specifically came out for a leak in my downstairs bathroom. There is clearly water coming from the pipe as I have a puddle of water underneath my sink. He stated he ran water and did not see anything leaking so he can't explain where the water is coming from. I was so confused because you can clearly see the water. I asked him was he suggesting I put water down there to fake a leak. Are you kidding me? he was lazy and rude and did not spend more than 5 minutes at my residence and did not tell me he was leaving. Horrible customer service! read more

Asked to fixed a leaking automatic sprinkler valve on my rental home (otherwise working but leaking). They charged me $375 to replace 3 values (without consulting with me first about the work that were going to do). After they left, none of the sprinklers worked. They did not test them before they left (due to lack of access to the control panel (which is in the garage)). I went to check the control panel myself, and it was all in working order, turned on, and running the normal program, but it would NOT turn on any sprinkler stations (none of the 6 on the timer were working after they did the work). So I went to check the wiring and found they used electrical tape to cover even the new connections they made. So I asked them to return to put the proper grease wire nuts and check it and did not hear back from them for 2 weeks despite 3 attempts to ask the status of them. So I called someone else, and they came to check it. They found that the COMMON wire was broken off at the point where the wire insulation was stripped back to and fixed it for an additional $80. I called Reno to discuss this to get this covered by him as someone had to come fix his work. Only then did he claim that they did return to the property and was able to access the garage and found the timer un-plugged, so they just plugged it back in and left at that (untested again). First, I know this was not the issue because it was all plugged in and running when I checked it and it just would not engage any of the 6 stations after they replaced 3 of them. Second, this was the only time he told me that someone had indeed gone back to check it again. Third, Reno again admitted to me that they did NOT test it using the station controller. He would NOT take any responsibility and claimed that they always use electrical tape and do not need to test it because it is a simple wiring job. In his words, the guy doing work works on multi-million dollar jobs and knows how to hook up the wires, so why would we need to test it. He claimed he is not there to configure someone else's timer but they only called to fix a leaking valve. After about 40 minutes of arguing with me about the need to test your work before leaving, he still refused to take responsibility and blamed it on tenants messing around with the wires. read more

Reno helped replace a old worn down good neighbor fence for our rental home. The work was excellent and he clearly laid out everything that was going to be done. We checked around for prices before giving the go ahead to have him do the work and the price per square foot was very reasonable. We didn't have to go through any painful haggling process. Reno was friendly and great to work with. We'd definitely contact him when we need additional work done. read more

Called, left voice message, no call back, been over 2 days now. Could at least courtesy call and say you are too busy if that's the reason. - Updated rating, contact happened, will update (probably to 5 stars after meet and work priced). Pleasant on phone to talk to. Very knowledgeable. read more

Replied quickly. Arrived the next day. Started work the following day. Had all the work done the next day. On Day 1, he arrived on time and gave us a detailed quote. On Day 2, he arrived on time and went straight to work. On Day 3, he arrived on time and finished everything on our list. We are getting the house ready to sell, so our to-do list is long and varied. Reno didn't even flinch. He fixed everything and we are very pleased. We highly recommend him. read more

Everyone please read this. I hired Artisan for a $28k three week job. At week 7 the job was still not complete. I was texting them begging them to show up and complete the job. In the end, I had to have someone else complete the job. Save yourself a lot of grief and do not use this company. There are lots of contractors out there. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! As of 6-22-2016, Artisan builders had not paid the tile subcontractor for the job done. I paid my portion but Reno has not paid his bill read more

Had Reno come out to take a look at a total remodel of a 3bedroom apartment. Originally we were just doing a simple Kitchen and Bathrooms and he quoted me a very good price and promised to have it done by the end of January. In the end, not only did he do the original job as well as the additions but he finished a week early! read more

I was referred to Reno for repairs related to water damage in my bathroom and garage. Reno and his team was very responsive, quickly scheduling the work the same week, and did high quality work. I'm a renter and my landlord selected Reno to do a bathroom remodel. He finished demo before Thanksgiving, but didn't complete the job until late May. By comparison the next remodel on our second bath was completed by another contractor in under a month. Reno would disappear for weeks. He wouldn't tell us when he'd be back. He told me he didn't need this job. He probably just took it to get in with our landlord who has a lot of work. At the end of the project he wrote an untruthful email to our land lord and property manager casting us as the villain as we complained about how long he was taking. He called my GF a bitch. Seemed excessive. By the end of September most of the drywall screws were backing out through the paint. Shoddy work. You should see the paint job. The craftsmanship really stands out compared to our other bathrooms good job. Avoid him at all costs. read more

I usually let others write the reviews, but in this case I believe strongly in providing my own experience. I inherited a house that had not been maintained properly, so I needed to have a lot of work done in order to make it rental ready. Reno Breschi of Artisan Builders was instrumental as my choice of contractor in making the transformation successful. He not only helped me plan out the necessary renovations, but also shared his expertise in renovating rental properties to help me bring the property up to market comparability. As the work was underway, he kept me apprised of the progress and when there was confusion in my instructions he also made sure I got what I intended. To top it all off the pricing was very competitive, so I didn't have to worry about going over budget while getting high quality work. The work was quite varied. Interior updates included a complete renovation of the kitchen (cabinets, counter, appliances), new carpet & linoleum floors, double-pane window retro-fit, new doors, new paint and other little fixes. Exterior updates included adding an A/C condensor, new concrete patio and walkway around the house, new landscaping (clean-up of old landscaping and installation of new sod, river rock and bark), new exterior paint and installing a new roof. read more

After getting a couple of expensive quotes for some work that I was told should be done, I called Artisan Builders Group whom I found on Yelp. After calling them and setting up an appointment to get a quote, a guy named Reno came to my house. I will say getting the first appointment was not seamless and he did reschedule at the last minute on one or two occasions (full disclosure). That being said, after he saw my kitchen and I explained the situation he told me that he wouldn't change anything if it were his place. Going this route ended up saving me thousands of dollars. He could have easily given me an estimate and perhaps got the job but he chose to give me his honest recommendation even though that meant no job for him. Not many out there who would do the same. I'll use him next time I'm in real need of a honest contractor. read more

If I could post 2x as many stars i most def would! I am a business owner in the plumbing field myself as well as a licensed RE Broker and Property Manager of 17 years myself so i have worked with many contractors over the years but this project was my personal building mixed use business site in dire need of a roof..not only was the price very fair but his timing and response was amazing. Not only did i not have to micromanage this project but i didnt even have to really think about it while the installtion was going on...keeping me in the loop through-out the entire project which usually ends up being the more painful part of a project. He not only was working against the ever changing weather forescast, but scheduling between roofers, drywallers and painters which all went seamlessly Still not sure how that was pulled of in the exact timeframe he quoted, but it was and he was realistic, honest and upfront about the possible unforseens of the project. But not this time instead of over the top quotes or feeling like your at the mercy of your contractor instead he offered several cost- effective options to remedys to those unforseen issues of the project, And his amazing roofing crew was professional, fast, efficent AND CLEANED UP THE ENTIRE WORKSITE AT THE END OF EACH DAY! I cannot say thank you enough to Reno and his crew for the amazing job they did! And would absolutly refer them to everyone! read more
