Cold, abysmal coffee... but I'm giving two stars because there is ample seating which is nice.

I ordered a ham and cheese croissant, it had only one slice of ham in it. Not impressed. The staff were very friendly though.

Great neighborhood coffee shop that I found buzzing on a Saturday morning. Many people brought…read moretheir dogs, and thankfully there is plenty of seating on the patio. I ordered a special drink: the Orange Carmel Cloud, a fancy cold brew coffee. It was super refreshing and tasty. Would definitely come back and maybe check out their Kits location next time.

This place had been on my radar for awhile. I really love the Bring Your Own Cup concept. I get…read morethat it's not appealing to everyone as it's not convenient for people to have to bring their own cups. Our humand desire for convenience though is costing us in the long run, so I'm all for "eco-friendly" options. They do also have an option to rent reusable mugs and bring it back later. My goodness, I went on a wild goose chase trying to get to this place. There's construcion happening on the street so my GPS sent me in circles before I finally managed to get here. For quite awhile I was in one of those "So close, yet so far" situations. After scanning the menu my eye landed on something called Hangeul Combo which consisted of Gochujang Hot Chocolate and Korean Hangeul cookies. I had not idea what Hangeul cookies were but Gochujang hot chocolate sounded intriguing to me so I decided to be adventurous and try something new. The Gochujang Hot chocolate was really interesting. I could feel a burning sensation in my throat when I drank it. The cookies were prepackaged and there was Korean writing on the wrapper. I used Google Translate on it, and Google Translate told me the there "Might" be stuff like pork, chicken, beef in the cookies. As I'm Pescatarian, I decided not to take the risk and gave the cookies to someone else later in the day. That's what I get for being adventurous. Glad I tried the Gochujang Hot Chocolate as it was a very interesting flavor but the whole combo really wasn't worth it to me. I felt slightly ripped off. Even if I'd eaten the Hangeul cookies, or if the Gochujang Hot Chocolate had been sold separately without cookies...the amount of Hot Chocolate that was in my little cup was a very sad amount. I really think they could have filled my cup higher, and it really wasn't a very large cup to begin with. They do have a lot of other interesting food items in this place, so...despite the fact that I had a less than ideal experience, I'd still be willing to give this place a try. Cinnamon Croffle, Nutella Banana Croffle and Gochujang Scone really caught my eye. Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street

I was intrigued by the location even before I came here in person as I could see on the map that it was in a residential area, away from main streets and other commercial businesses. There was only one lady working here (Monika). I came here with my mom. She ordered a Chai Latte and I ordered a Matcha Latte. Our drinks came out fairly quickly but we had to wait quite awhile for our food. We had each ordered a slice of quiche with a bowl of Potato & Leek soup. Monika realized we had waited quite awhile for our food and brought us a chunk of carrot cake on the house to make up for the long wait. She said this cake was their bestseller. No room to eat the cake as tummy space was already taken up by quiche and soup, so we brought the cake home. The cake was quite good indeed and I enjoyed the quiche as well. Drinks and soup could have been better. I would have preferred my Matcha Latte to have been sweeter and my mom felt her Chai Latte was a bit too sweet for her. I think this place has potential and perhaps might do better with a bit more help. It's a charming space in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I do hope there will be more staff working here eventually. Kinda sounded like Monika had taken over this shop not too long ago so...guess it's in a bit of a transitional stage.

If I lived in North Vancouver/ The shipyard area I'd totally be here all the time . My only issue is I just wished they were open longer on the weekdays as well as the weekends. Every time I come in, I do not feel welcomed. When I ask to sit at an available table, I am told it is "reserved for a group" and I cannot sit alone, and I am directed to sit at the bar seating which is very uncomfortable. I have personally observed other solo guests being allowed to sit at those same tables without any issue, which makes the treatment feel targeted and inconsistent. A coffee shop should be a place where every paying customer feels comfortable and respected. At Nemesis, I have not felt that at all. The lack of friendliness and selective application of seating rules is not acceptable for a business of this caliber. I expected much better service and basic hospitality. I will not be returning. "I felt unwelcome and treated differently in a way that felt discriminatory."

Pull apart was lighter than I expected. Other place's pull apart was so buttery, cheesy, however, this one was flaky and buttery, so, if you prefer light texture pull apart, you will like it. Cream cheese filling was nice accent. Pistachio loaf was more dense than I expected. It had pistachio whipped cream on top, so, cream helped loaf texture more smooth. Loaf had strong pistachio flavor. I liked whipped cream and loaf combination. Pesto and mozzalera swirl was a bit too salty for me. Dough was super flaky and buttery, I liked the dough texture so much, but filling could be more minder. Unfortunately, I did not have ferrero rocher danish. I heard that this one was the best. Mousse was so delicious and dough was very flaky and buttery. Overall, I think their pastries are always outstanding and good quality. The place was extremely busy and could not get a table. Next time, I wish I could dine-in.
