Was in the area and stumbled upon this cute cafe!! It was so adorable and aesthetic inside. The matcha and strawberry cake were not bad. They have both matcha and hojicha so I think I'd try the hojicha next time! I asked for sweetener for the matcha but I think it was too sweet. As for the strawberry cake, it felt a little underwhelming, I wish there was more strawberry inside. Id like to see what other cakes they have! Ps look at the witch dog on my friends pumpkin spice!

Very cute cafe. Delicious maple cake roll but the whipped cream is a little over whipped imo. The drinks are on more expensive side but it tastes good. The service is not that good, their cashier doesn't speak much English, and the other staff rolled her eyes.

    Cortado / cute coffee cups.

Found myself in the area so decided to try this place out. Promising based on some recent reviews and the name/logo is very cute. I mean who doesn't like a cute dog in the logo? Decor inside is also very appealing. However I wasn't too fond of the food. Tried the Pecan Tart, Canneles & Cortado. Food just tasted like it's been on the counter for days. Stale and lacking freshness. The cortados here are decent albeit the ratio of milk could be increased in my opinion. Service was pleasant enough. Counter service so aside from placing your order, you don't really interact with the staff here. I feel there are better cafes than this one.

impromptu bestie date and said bestie wanted coffee. thus this was her suggestion but this place has been on my list for QUITE some time now - idky i never got around to coming?!? cutest little café tucked away in the most inconspicuous place - def parisian vibes and i love all the cups and plates i grabbed a little taster pack for my parents but i did steal a fig financier and also a nibble of the infamous raspberry cake - they were both to die for and yes - not too sweet do come here early if you want the treats - we came around 2pm on a friday afternoon and s managed to grabbed the last slice of the raspberry cake so take warning!

Finally got to visit this cute cafe by Ambleside! The location is super convenient, but located around the corner so it's much quieter and cozy. The cafe is very nicely decorated and I love the dog in their logo, so cute! They have a lot of pastries and drinks. I especially liked that they had many strawberry drinks, which I love but are often harder to find. They even have a strawberry chocolate drink. I didn't get to try it but next time for sure! I ordered a strawberry matcha and it was definitely made with good matcha! Also, they were super fast at making the drinks and service was very nice and efficient. Definitely looking forward to visiting again some time :)

This new French cafe in West Vancouver (close to Ambleside beach) is a must try. The pastry chef is Korean but was trained in Paris before opening this cute & cozy Parisian style coffeeshop. Their menu has a nice mix of classic Parisian pastries and cakes like pain au chocolat, roule oignon fromage, Earl grey financier, ispahan, Madeline, tarts, and some Asian-inspired treats like black sesame cake. I tried the latte, pecan tart, and black sesame cake. Cafe is super cute almost like it transports you somewhere and you're not in Vancouver anymore. Service was very friendly and they have a variety of French pastries and drink options. Unfortunately hojicha latte was sold out which was what I really wanted to try. French madeleine wasn't overly sweet or dry. The cheddar scone was surprisingly soft but a touch buttery. The drink I got is not the best that I've had but overall it was a good experience from service, ambience to food/drinks.

I'd had my eye on this Cafe C'est Si Bon for quite awhile, ever since I heard of its opening. Finally got around to trying it. We ordered a pecan caramel financier, an Ispahan, a coffee flavored Basque style cheesecake, a Strawberry hot chocolate and a hot Milk Tea. We enjoyed our drinks. My daughter said her Strawberry Hot Chocolate was tasty and we were tickled pink with the cute dog that was drawn on top of her hot chocolate. The food however, was a bit of a hit and miss. Grandma said the financier was OK. Doesn't sound like it was anything special. We loved the Ispahan. If I were to come back here, I would order the Ispahan again. The Basque style cheesecake had a nice coffee flavor; however, I felt that the texture could have been improved. Perhaps thawing it for awhile before serving it might have improved the texture but as it was, I found it a bit more dense than I'd have liked it. From what we tried I would probably only come back for the drinks and Ispahan; however, there were a number of items that were running low or completely sold out. Maybe they might be better stocked and have better selection for us if we go back another time. Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street Location: #240 - 1425 Marine Dr., West Vancouver, BC

The Parisian sandwich and thin fries were ultra good. Best ham ever. Not salty and complex flavours, meaty. Too bad can't buy this anywhere unless imported. The French Onion Soup was well balanced. Rich, savory, the aroma draws you in, offset by the warmth from the spice. It is a soup that you can never get enough of. This was done very well. Duck Leg Cassoulet Stew had a great texture and flavour profile. Would have been nice if there is toast or baguette to go with it. Only criticism is it is awfully small for a main dish. And the duck leg is only half of what we normally get from a duck confit. Which was surprising.

Food is always on point ... with excellent presentation! Star items : French Onion Soup ... this alone can be the reason for me to drive here from Richmond! The rich broth is fully infused with the sweetness of caramelized onion, which blended seamlessly with the beef broth! Very hearty and I would indulge myself with extra cheese! Oh why not!? Braised Lamb Shank ... tender and very rich with the sauce that it was bath in ... the Chef was able to elevate this classic dish several levels up! Service is always attentive and friendly, too bad driving from Richmond limited my alcohol intake as I really love to try out more of their Cocktails!

Too bitter and the flat white lacked the microfoam and crema. Don't get coffee here. Stick with hot chocolate or maybe those sparkling lemonade drink. The cakes were still good though sweet. Chocolate marquise is still my favorite. I think I will only come here once a year with the dear prices. $40+ for 2 coffees and 2 cakes.

Very cute mom and pop place The servers were fast and knew what they were doing. They had servers just for grating cheese and pepper and taking away plates and others just for taking your order Carpaccio (21) - we enjoyed the carpaccio. Not overly done with cheese or greens. Not too chewy either Prawns appetizer (22) - cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Could do with a little more vegetable Linguine vongole (26) - tasted like the sea. Noodles could have been less cooked but then again it depends on your audience. The clams tasted fresh and were sweet. Seafood pasta of the day (26)- had squid in it. Also tasted like the sea (in a good way). Pasta was the same as the one above except the toppings were different Arugula pizza (24) and Primavera pizza (24) - the pizza dough is obviously the same on both but both were delicious. Well cooked and chewy. The toppings were different. I preferred the meat one more just because I love proscuitto. Well balanced. Would recommend the pizza over the pasta Tiramisu (12.50) - pretty standard. Not overly sweet. Generous portion for the price. Wouldn't order it again Overall I thought the food was not bad and the service was pretty good. The seafood pasta flavours were something you can't make at home. The pizza was also good. So technically this was dessert #3 over the course of not even an hour. The good thing is that this was not an overwhelmingly sweet or heavy dessert. It really went down with the same ease as just a regular mango would have, but it just had some extra (mostly natural) stuff. I'd happily enjoy this deliciousness on a regular basis if I lived in Vancouver. There were a ton of menu items that looked appealing, so I'm might even be their best customer.

They serve ice cream at Savary Island Pie Company? Yup. They do now. I don't know when they started selling ice cream at this place but my bro was in the know and...well how could I turn down an opportunity for ice cream? Of course I would make room for it! When we got to the shop I was a bit confused with the setup cuz I recalled there being tables where people could sit down to eat. A bit of investigating cleared up my confusion. The space that I remembered, with tables and chairs was still around; it was just next door. It seems the Savary Island Pie Company expanded their space, and so the new space is the part that is now operating as an ice cream parlour. The guy working there was kind enough to let us sample some flavors before purchasing. After trying Apple Pie Salted Caramel and Dulce de Leche I decided to get Dulce de Leche in a cup. This is one of my favourite flavors to get when we buy Haagen Dazs ice cream. Kind of a family favourite I guess cuz a couple of other people in the family also ended up ordering Dulce de Leche! It's old fashioned style creamy ice cream. They do also have a few vegan flavors too though. What a treat! Ummm...I really should come back though to have some of their pie sometime since they are after all, supposed to be known for their pie and not their ice cream! Stepping into others' imprinted snow footsteps trying not to slip and fall onto the newly fallen snow, we made it into Cafe Crema in West Vancouver. The first thing with this place that gets you is the vibe. Mood lighting, lovely high tables and plenty of space. You can sit there, and daydreaming in this place is highly encouraged preferably with a glass of bold red and a slice of Margherita Pizza. I didn't really know what I wanted, which rarely happens, but this was one of those special occasions where you just let spontaneity take over. I was going to just have a coffee, but as I approached the register area to order my Americano, I kept seeing this glimmer in the corner of my eye. It was quite bright, but just a glimmer, so I looked over and it was just this muffin sitting there in the display. I asked the cashier what muffin that was, and I was told that it was the Vegan Banana Chocolate Muffin. "Vegan?" I asked. He said, "Yup." I almost walked away trying to find something else, but the damn thing looked so good. So, reluctantly I decided to try a Vegan Muffin. I said to myself, "well, what's the worst that could happen? I'll just throw it out if I don't like it." That winking-luring Vegan muffin was so good that it actually trumped many of the dairy based muffins I've had in the past. I'll tell you how and why. First, it was rich, creamy, dense, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. You could taste the Cocoa and hint of Banana and nuts throughout. As much as all the ingredients together gave the muffin its wonderful taste, you could also taste each component individually. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, and it's rare to find me ordering desert or eating muffins. I ate this damn thing like I just discovered the taste of sweet for the first time. Between this awesome Vegan muffin, the great Americano and this cozy little lamp on the table and the beautiful glowing white snow on Bellevue Drive, this indeed was a memorable experience and a one time love affair with a Vegan Muffin. (No, I hadn't smoked anything that day.)
