Quiet on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Parking is almost impossible here because of the Chinese restaurant in the plaza, so I parked a few blocks away. It was very quiet and there was tons of seats available but not many outlets at the table booth seating along the wall. So if you're here to do some work or to study, you'll have to pick one of the round tables by the window. I had an iced matcha latte which was pretty good and I had to wait about half an hour for salt bread to be fresh out of the oven. It was steaming hot. Very buttery and delicious! The staff was very nice.

It is really nice to finally have a coffee and pastry place in this area, it seemed like it was definitely needed, as the only thing you could get around here are fast food options for coffee and pastries. It is in a plaza that really doesn't have a lot of parking, that is noted by other reviewers as this plaza also caters a pretty big Chinese restaurant, and if you are here during prime time lunch hours, good luck, but lucky for you there is street parking, you may have to walk a bit. Coming in, you can see that they spent some good money to make this place aesthetically pleasing, you need to come and see how bright this place is, and how good this place looks compared to the outside. There is enough seating in here and a very comfortable place to bring a laptop, do minor work, or if you are like me, come with friends, chat and just drink the java. The lady working the front was very nice, and I enjoyed my time here where I can see myself coming often, cause it is not far from my home. There had a sample of this chewy cookie that reminded me of a rice crispy square, it was really good that my friend almost bought one after leaving, except the lineup got a little long and we had to go. A welcome addition to the neighbourhood, and looking for more coffee time soon.

Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed by the food and drinks at Cafe Episode. We got an einspänner and two desserts. The drink was a bit too watered down for my liking and I wished the desserts had more flavour as I felt the cream was too dominant. I did find that the cafe had lots of space to work, and another bonus is that it is open late which can be rare.

Located across the street from the McDonalds by Renfrew station - this is a little Korean Cafe gem. Small parking plaza available - but spots are quite limited / however plenty of scattered street parking. This place is also super transit friendly being a very short walk from Renfrew Skytrain. Cafe is very bright and tables are spaced out nicely - cleanliness seems important as everything looked clean and well maintained, as well as there restroom. Service was fast and cashier was attentive and able to answer questions - Milk alternatives are available - Wasn't able to try any of there treats, but they do have plenty of cakes, macaroons and other baked treats. Had a iced caramel macchiato made with oat milk - the blend of flavors meshed super nicely without losing the espresso flavor - I'm interested on what brand/blend they use for there espresso, as it was very good. Grapefruit -ade was also super delicious. Will definitely be back to explore there menu further , and hopefully try a treat -

Quaint Korean coffee shop. Parking is available but very limited in the strip mall. Plenty of street parking a few blocks away. The place is nice and bright. Looks decent but not super modern. Somewhat decent amount of seating. Coffee was decent. Chocolate croissant was pretty decent too. Not too sweet, which is nice. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point.

Needing a new cafe to yap w/ your girlies? Introducing Vancouver's latest gem @cafepisode This cozy & spacious spot is perfect for a rainy afternoon catchup, offering a plethora of Korean inspired drinks, desserts, and pastries. The interior is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly kind. It's right off of Renfrew skytrain station so it's accessible! There's also an abundance of parking spots in their lot. I enjoyed their drinks & sweets but I wish there were a bigger selection of savoury items. The one savoury item we got was the salted bread (which is what Korea is known for), but I didn't find it anything too special. However, their sweet potato cake captured my heart this time and it's not found in many other cafes and not too sweet. I would visit again !! Located at: 2891 Grandview Highway, Vancouver BC,V5M 2E1

Really nice cafe by Renfrew station. Parking in the parking lot and on the streets available. I got the biscoff latte and really enjoyed it. The iced matcha was very tasty as well. Good amount of seating!

Service was amazing and food is also amazing Got the sweet potato cake and it's not too sweet it's the perfect amount of sweet with a nice rich creamy texture. Absolutely love and recommend this cake if u aren't a fan of things that are too sweet The chocolate cookie is sure to soothe that sweet tooth! Very tasty! The coffee is also so amazing! I got the honey Biscoff Latte. It was super good and the brown sugar added the perfect amount of sweetener. The EINSPENNER is perfect for those who don't like sweet coffee drinks. The ambiance is a nice modern feel and super clean!

I discovered this café through Instagram. This newly opened spot is located near Renfrew Station, making it very convenient. The café's interior is bright and cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They offer a variety of baked goods and cakes, and the croissants topped with whipped cream and fruits look especially great! I got a salt bread, which is one of my favorites and something I've tried at many other places, along with a matcha latte. The salt bread had a very soft and chewy dough, with the salt flavor being just right. The matcha latte was incredibly creamy, and the sugar level was perfect. On my next visit, I definitely want to try the cakes and other baked goods. This café is sure to become one of my regular go-to places!

Amazing hidden gem of a spot near Renfrew station! So many pastries, cakes and drinks to choose from! I tried out the sweet potato latte and it was the perfect blend of earthiness and sweetness in a cold day!

So happy to have a local coffee shop in the Renfrew area! This is a Korean cafe, and I was really looking forward to try their various selection of delectable pastries. On a late Thursday morning at 11am, they did not have too many pastries left, just their cakes. Did manage to snag 2 of their chocolate croissants that were still on the rack cooling. Would love to go back to try their potato bread and drinks. Parking is very limited, might have to park on the street on Grandview.

Their coffee was great. The salt bread was very soft. I wish they had more savoury pastries to choose from!

Saw that this cafe just opened it the Plaza across from McDonald's at the corner of Grandview Highway and Renfrew Street. Thought I would visit and scope out if it's a cafe you can do work out of. I think the them of the cafe is like a television show - their " Open" sign says " episode on" instead. Cute ! Parking is limited as there are many stalls reserved for the other businesses in the Plaza. There is plenty of parking up the hill of renfrew street in the school/ residential areas ( some parts reserved for only residents of the block. There is also some street parking coming from Easr along Grandview highway , just 1 or 2 blocks before the Mcdonalds on the corner if yoi are lucky. I came in on a Friday just before noon and there was still room to sit. There are no outlets available at the 6 tables available along the long bench seat in the cafe. There is a 6- search oval table which had some people sit and ther one by the wall is the closest to the two outlets available. I realized later there was a sign noting this table was only for large groups thought. There was an outlet along the left of the cafe walking in . Definitely space to put another small table. The cafe has a modern setting and possibly some Arabica aesthetics. I tried the biscoff latte and matcha cream croissant. There was also a promo for followers of their Instagram get a free korean salt bread. They advised I sat the cookie crumbs with the whipped cream first from the drink, then stir in the rest into the drink , then dip the biscoff cookie in to the drink. It was a cold drink. Only the whipped cream was sweetened but the rim has syrup and crumbs so that made every sip a little bit sweet which was perfect. The croissant was fresh and buttery, the cream was lightly match flavored and generously piped into the croissant. Prices are typical of cafes now a days. Overall, this cafe had a nice ambiance and if you scored the spots near the outlets or if you hahad electronic with good battery life , this would be a solid place to do some work. Or you could just chill and grab a delicious coffee and snack.

Both were absolutely delicious. I guess the only downside to the place is that it bakes in the afternoon sun because of all the large W facing windows. Talk about a pleasant surprise. I'd gladly come by again for more coffee and bakery goodness. Highly recommended.

This café features a fully vegan menu which is amazing for vegans and those who can't enjoy dairy comfortably! I was blown away by how the white chocolate strawberry croissant tasted nothing like it was short of eggs. The texture resembles an actual croissant and I would say the only difference lies in the flight drier/stiffer texture. There was a sweet filling inside that paired really well with the croissant, causing me to devour the whole thing in one sitting. Their drinks are standard and can served for here or to go. I love the ambiance and interior of the café. There is ample seating and space. I also love that they have a little section for kids with books and toys to keep them busy. Through the window, you can also see the baking facility that the café uses to prepare all their food. This is a wonderful spot to stop by in the neighbourhood and I'm glad my boyfriend lives close by so I can walk here on many occasions!

The barista was very nice! I got the Sooyo croissant, an egg tart, and a milk tea. I loved the Sooyo croissant - I'm weak to the brie/fig combo and this had just the right balance of all the ingredients on a warm and soft croissant. The egg tart was also really nice with a hint of cinnamon. It was bite-sized which was good for a small treat. I also loved the milk tea. It was very strong, and the brown sugar syrup enhanced the flavour! It was worth the trip for me for a relaxing snack stop!

I was glad to visit on a Sunday morning while taking a walk with my boyfriend in his neighbourhood. When we arrived, it was quite busy. The coffee shop is small, but charming with limited seating available. The menu mainly contains basic coffee shop items as well as a variety of baked goods. We ordered an iced specialty coffee with ice cream and a small latte. I also chose the Tiramisu danish and we nibbled on it while waiting for our coffee. The danish was suggested by the cashier as one of the more popular items. She was completely right, because this baked treat was heavenly. The outside was like a croissant, flakey and buttery and paired with a delicious tiramisu custard on the inside. We also grabbed a scone for our walk home (which turned out to be delicious as well). The shop also sells local artisanal goods such as chocolate, sauces, and even loaves of bread. It's nice to gander around while waiting for your order. We enjoyed our coffee on the walk back home. The coffee is quite strong, which would be optimal for most coffee lovers. The flavour was deep and chocolate-y, but not bitter at all. I read on their site that they regularly rotate their bean selection. I would love to return to try more of their food items!
