For a Christmas gift I got my mother in law, my wife and myself this master class. I like that you can pay the base price then upgrade when you're there. I would say you are paying more for the supplies than the class itself. The place is very beautiful and they have so much there and it looks like they do more than just the lamps. I definitely want to go back for some of the other stuff they have there. The fun part is if you're creative and come here and learn what you need you can easily replicate it at home with friends. The instructor was ok on the instruction side and amazing with everything else. I'm a teacher and I usually walk around and help or offer other methods. This one just told us pretty much what was on the pamphlet. I would have liked more engagement but it's fine we all made some good lamps. Overall the experience was fun, the tea was delicious and we had a good time making our lamps then drinks being them at home

I had an amazing time at the Turkish candle-making class! Naz was an exceptional instructor--friendly, patient, and passionate about sharing her knowledge. She explained each step clearly and made everyone feel comfortable, regardless of their experience level. The class was both creative and relaxing, and I enjoyed learning the traditional techniques while creating my own beautiful candles. Naz's enthusiasm and attention to detail made the experience even more special. She was always available to answer questions and offer helpful guidance throughout the session. I left with unique handmade candles and a deeper appreciation for this art form. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for a fun, memorable, and hands-on experience. Great for couples, families or solo! I did the short table lamp on a Sunday afternoon, but there are about 10 variations you can pick from. I feel like I got my moneys worth for $80. The instructions were easy to follow, and this was a very relaxing process. The artist gave tips and suggestions on how to make it the best looking piece possible. The Turkish delight served contains nuts, so I couldn't partake but the Tea was DELISH. I highly recommend this experience and I will likely be back.

Naz and Betul both very helpful with the information and explanation! It was our first time ! Amazing project!!! Selection is amazing!!! This was a fantastic experience for me and my mom! The instructions were clear, staff very nice, and the selection of different items you could create was vast! I came here during a Black Friday 50% sale - otherwise, I do think that it would've been pretty pricey! Glad that I was able to snag that deal! The staff also served complimentary non-caffeinated tea and non dairy treats! There was also a little shop with lots of options to choose from if you wanted to take home something else!

My friend and I took the Turkish mosaic lamp class in Denver and it was so fun! The instructor came around often and gave individual support during the process. They set you up for success with patterns and a wide selection of colors to choose from. They all came out beautiful and you leave with everything you need to finish your lamp and set it up at home. The only thing that I would recommend is better instructions on how to get to the downtown Denver location. The conference room was hard to find. I also think the classes are a bit pricey but overall it was a fun experience!

Had a great time with friends. We did the mosaic lamp workshops. There was as nice music playing and snacks were provided. The lamps have to be completed at home so that the curing process can complete: It was a fun experience however I will be keeping my day job as you can see I'm not the best at this. lol

my boyfriend recently booked a session for us to celebrate my birthday; even though they seem to be best known for their turkish mosaic lamps and ceramic painted bowls, we actually booked the flower decoration/terrarium! i am not typically the most artistic person, but the environment was so much fun and there was such a wide selection of decorations for you to choose from, it was hard to not be inspired. we were the only ones doing the flower decoration, while the instructor was primarily helping the other groups with their paintings and lamps, but pinar took care to ensure she still helped with any questions we had! the experience overall was about 2 hours, but it truly flew by. we were even offered turkish delights and tea during the experience, which was so sweet to try! all this to say, it was a fantastic experience and i'm so happy with my new moon terrarium. i can't wait to come back to make more crafts!

So much fun! Naz was our instructor and she was wonderful. It was a great outing for me and my boyfriend and we both really love our lamps. Both of us were a little scared they wouldn't look great but Naz gave good tips and we love them.

Came here with a friend for a Thursday afternoon class. Not surprisingly, there wasn't a whole ton of people so my friend and I got to enjoy a table to ourselves for the lamp decorating class. We both enjoy creative projects so this was a treat for us! We just had one instructor leading the class. This is our first time, so I don't know if one is the norm or if there may be two when it's full. There's not a whole ton of direction on what to do, just tips on glue application, using the stencils to plan out your decoration, and bead application. Personally I'm fine with that as I thought it was nice having the freedom and time to yourself to just plan and decorate. However, if minimal guidance isn't you're thing, then I suppose it may not be the class for you. But it truly is fun to do if you enjoy just making stuff and spending time with friends/family/your partner if they're a long for the ride! As for the value of the class, I personally think it's reasonable. Again, if you find value in doing creative projects, especially with others, taking the mosaic tile lamp class is super worth it! I would definitely like to do this again some time. read more

Very easy to make reservations and reasonably priced. They have Turkish lamp making and ceramic panting. We chose the ceramic painting and it was such a fun and therapeutic experience. They also have a little section in the shop that you can purchase small pieces from. Our instructor, Devrana was also so kinda and helpful. This is an amazing place to get creative and spend quality time with those who are important in your life. There are several classes to choose from and after your first class, they offer a huge discount to enroll in another class that can be redeemed at a later date; included with the class we got hot apple tea and Turkish Delight - yum! Black Turkish, coffee and baklava is offered for $5.99. The class instructor, ELizabeth, was so kind, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We enjoyed her time with us. What I learned isn't something I would typically do on my own, but being with my besties and learning something new is totally worth more than the cost of the class. read more

I was so excited for this and was completely disappointed. We received no instruction and were luckily seated by people who had experienced this type of creating before. It felt so rushed and stressful! For as much this costs it should be a way better experience. I realized walking out that our kits said "DIY" on the side and indeed they were. It would have been better to do it at home at my own pace and I could have pulled up an instructional YouTube video. Please take the word "class" out of your title. There is no instruction here. You provide a space and the materials that we pay for. Side note, I felt like I got gut punched when I realized that I could order the same exact thing off Etsy for $40 and I paid $130 for it with this scam of a business. What a joke. read more

I'm a proud lil' mama of this masterpiece :) ! Had a great time creating my own Turkish lamp! I chose the swan lamp and I can't wait to set it up in my home. Mariem was our instructor for the class and she was so sweet in guiding us through each step. She made sure to remind us that this class is meant to be relaxing- so we didn't stress out! We were guided through a few steps and once your piece dries about 6 hours later there's one last part you do at home - but you are sent home with all the tools you need. The best surprise was Turkish Delights and a cup of tea! We loved it so much that we took another lamp to make at home! Highly recommend for something fun and unique! read more

I celebrated my birthday here with 10 friends and everyone had the best time. The instructors were kind and answered all our questions. They served Turkish tea and Turkish delights midway through the session but we were allowed to bring our own drinks and snacks. The tables are pretty full from the mosaic tiles and project so keep your own edibles to a minimum! Some of us struggled in the beginning but there was plenty of time to make the lamp and in the end all of our lamps turned out wonderful. The final step is done at home and was explained to us . Highly recommend! read more

Took my sister for her birthday, loved the relaxed vibe and great energy from the instructor.. Instructions are made clear and even though there is a template they encourage you to design your own as well. This put me at ease and I decided to design mine a lil more abstract. We met the nicest couple at our table who were celebrating their anniversary. We even tried Turkish delight and Turkish tea for the first time and the instructor also gave my sister a birthday gift which was similar to the bowl the Turkish delight was in. They also let us all choose a gift when we left..there were bracelets and keychains..my sis and I chose these cute Owl keychains. I would definitely recommend as a group event, date nite, etc. We chose to make the candle holders but the lamps look awesome too! If you're looking for a new experience I would definitely check this place out. read more

The interior is incredibly vibrant and colorful which makes for a very welcoming atmosphere. The instructor Elle brought great energy to the class and was very encouraging to all the attendees. The class moves steadily so you don't feel rushed, and they encourage you to work at your own pace as well as allowing you to be free to make deviations from the painting as you see fit. There's a lot of freedom in what you create which I found to add to the experience as everybody's painting is their own unique piece of art. The staff help clean everything up at the end, assist with photos, answer questions, and let you take your time as you leave in the event you need to add those finishing touches to your masterpiece. I really wanted to love this lamp-making class in Tustin. Sadly, the reality fell far short of expectations. The biggest issue was the complete lack of clear instructions. We were given brief, almost dismissive, explanations, and then left to our own devices. The staff didn't circulate to offer help or answer questions, leaving everyone feeling confused and a bit abandoned. It felt less like a class and more like a self-guided project with minimal guidance, which you could easily do at home with a kit. The rush was another major problem. Designing a lamp takes time and thought, but we felt pressured to finalize our designs quickly. This made the whole experience stressful rather than enjoyable. The "snacks" provided were also a huge disappointment - a couple of tiny mochi pieces on toothpicks and lukewarm Kool-Aid in paper cups. It felt cheap and thoughtless. For the price of the class, I expected a much better experience. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you're hoping for a structured and enjoyable lamp-making experience. I attended Denvers mosaic lamp class and the instructors were terrible and had no idea what they were doing. They didnt explain anything (what tiles are see through, how close together you should put the tiles, bead placement) so it ended up looking like a 4 year old made it. They also had no background music which was awkward. The class stated we would get turkish snacks and tea, we each got literally one 1/2 inch square of a turkish delight and a paper cup of watered down apple tea. Would not recommend at all because the instructors ruined the class. read more
