Breakfast is served with really crispy yummy potatoes and bread. The best part is the side salad, which I love to eat with eggs. The price is right and the food is outstanding. We stopped here on a whim on our way home from LA. We had sandwiches because they close for "kitchen" foods at 2. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was peaceful and unhurried. Staff were friendly and helpful and they had a variety of interesting things to try. Went here on a Saturday for lunch, so timing to get a table had to be just right as it's a small space. The staff were kind and made good suggestions. I had the Armenian breakfast, a vanilla latte, and a fruit tart - all of which tasted great! As a former barista I was especially impressed by the latte. Hello i am visiting LA and my friend and I visited this place. I had ordered a belgian waffle and when i tell you i could barely eat into it, it felt so hard that i couldn't enjoy it. The service was not pleasant as soon as we walked into the place we were getting rude looks. We sat down after going through a complicated way of ordering and were stared at the whole time even while eating our food which was very uncomfortable. My friend and I walked in first, 2 ladies came in after us to buy pastries. The young guy started helping the 2 ladies. The manager is just standing there, not asking to help us, seeing we were in your establishment first. Now another lady comes in 10 mins later, he ran and asked her if she needed anything. First of all. If I could give zero stars I would. I walked by this cafe because I was waiting for Tmobile to open. The first gentleman I encountered who was standing outside the cafe was not very pleasant. I believe he was the manager. I ended up going in against my better judgement because I did just want to grab a quick snack. As I was waiting to order the same manager passed me twice as he was dropping off food to customers and still didn't smile at me or anything. He looked uncomfortable that I was even in their establishment. I ended up getting something small and a smoothie and decided to dine in. I immediately walked over to the table meant for two people. It was really small and since it was just me, I didn't mind sitting there. When I sat down I realize this table was meant for children. I stand at about 5'7 and my legs couldn't fit under the table so I went over to sit at the bigger table. (They only had a total of 5 tables inside). lo and behold the server comes over to me and not quietly, states that I need to move back to the other table. I said absolutely not. I cannot sit comfortably at that table. It was a very insulting experience and the service was awful. I lost my appetite and told them I wanted the food to go. The cashier told me it wasn't a problem I sit there now (after I said something) but he doesn't understand that he failed when it came to service and the mood was just ruined. He embarrassed me in front of other customers. I recieved my snack and was waiting for my smoothie. All of a sudden the manager came to me and and apologized for the incident but then I realized he wasn't apologizing to me because he felt bad. He apologized because he wanted to soften the blow right before he was going to tell me they didn't have the ingredients for the smoothie LOL. If he had the ingredients for the smoothie, he wouldn't have said one word to me ! I said I just wanted a refund. They refunded me my whole meal but jeez. I will never step foot into this place again. 0/5 stars. I'm so embarrassed for this establishment and I don't see them making it past 2025. Also black people, stay away from this cafe. I used to go to Valentine's sweets for a rose latte, and it was always a gamble you never knew if it was going to be good or not, so this place opened up and I thought I'd give it a try, I bought their version of the rose latte and it was bitter, couldn't drink it, and I bought a spinach pasty and that was good, so the next day I went in for a cupcake for my nieces bday, and as I was walking out I slipped on a wet mat they had inside,and fell straight down to the ground landing on my butt bone in a half split, I haven't fallen since I was a kid! I couldn't believe that this happened. One lady came to try to help me up while everyone else just looked at me, the owner was there on the phone and ignored me completely, as if I was the problem not the wet floor with a mat on top, I was worried that my cupcake was smashed and they check it and said it was ok, I get up and leave super embarrassed, I get to my nieces house and the cupcakes was smashed and it was disgusting! I did not like the food or the decor inside the store. Store is located not really in the higher end part of Old Town Colorado Blvd, but rather at the tail end of the really part of Old Town. It is located in a part of town where many restaurants have failed in the past, maybe due to bad luck. For anyone else posting reviews, I have noticed that immediately after you post one, just like magic there will be a "new" 5-star review. I do not believe these are legitimate and if you see one after posting a low review, report it to Yelp immediately to get it flagged and removed. Also, the owner will try to get any low reviews removed by claiming that it is inauthentic. This review is authentic. The food and decor was not good. read more
