If you make a left turn (north) on riverside (next street west of ocean) and go straight ... you will see a huge city owned lot on the right-hand side.. way easier than looking for parking on ocean.. and I dont think ppl know it's there because it's not easily visible from the main streets. Man this place treats you like damn royalty. As a Peruvian I have so much love for this place and I make it a mission every time I'm in Fort Lauderdale to visit this place. In fact, I went here twice when I was in Florida for the long weekend. Their restaurant is very very beautiful. It's fancy but not enough where you need to dress up super formally. The people that work there are so kind and respectful and they are simply amazing people who treat everyone like they're a critic. My skirt steak with risotto made me speechless. The service was prompt and attentive. The water glasses were always full (even when my wife was knocking them over ). The restaurant itself was clean and beautiful. The ceviche sampler was perfectly spicy and sour. My osso bucco special was just a hair underdone but tasted spectacular with a rich brown sauce. The risotto was cheesy and perfectly cooked. I went to the restaurant to try one of their octopus dishes. They have several that look great. I decided to try the started Pulpo al Olivio which is an octopus sashimi and olive sauce. The plate came with a generous amount of sauce and was well presented with a scrumptious sweet potato side/garnish. Overall, it was tasty although it was too overwhelmingly olive flavored for me, but would be great if you love olives! I will definitely be back to try the other octopus dishes. read more

You can park in the garage in the building of the restaurant and head toward the visitor side and let them know you are there to go to the restaurant and it will be free to park. I took my parents out to dinner for her birthday. We picked this restaurant because of the variety it offered. I had a Piscojito Marqcuya (Pisco 1615 Mosto Verde with lime, fresh mint, and passionfruit juice) which was beautifully presented and tasted very good. My parents had a glass of Balduzzi Merlot. For our meals we had the Huancaina con Lomo (Lomo Saltado which is the perfect Peruvian/Cantonese fusion, wok stir-fry sauteed, onions, tomatoes, cilantro, wine and soy sauce served with Creamy Parmesan Cheese Risotto) and the Veggie Papardelle Salmon (Salmon with steamed vegetables and fried sweet plantain). Dessert consisted of Cuatro Leches (a soft, moist, and sweet cake that's soaked in four different milk flavors - whole milk, evaporated milk, condensed milk, and heavy cream) and Suspiro Limeno (a traditional Peruvian dessert combining the silkiness of a golden custard base crowned with a light and creamy liqueur meringue sprinkled with nutmeg). The Cuatro Leches was not too liquidly which we prefer. Our server Medalith was very attentive. She assumed we spoke Spanish so we did our best to communicate with her in Spanish. The restuarant appears to be very popular with families. It is located at the corner of an office complex and provides free parking up to 2 hours. read more

I waited for months for this place to open. I love Peruvian food and I was not aware of any other restaurants in the area. Aromas is not just a restaurant, it's an experience. The presentation is something they care a lot about so when my Ceviche came out on a beautifully decorated platter with lightly fried calamari on top, and a real flame on the side, it was clearly important to have great flavors, excellent ingredients and beautiful presentation. Roasted Peruvian corn is yummy but they actually serve it with a very spicy and delicious sauce, but it's hot - Be prepared! I've now been there three times, each time I tried a new dish and they were all fantastic. If you've never been to a Peruvian restaurant, this may be the best one to try. Yes, it's more expensive than others, but I think it's worth it. Presentation counts - Great food aside, the staff and chef make this a fun destination and a lovely evening. My husband was recommended this restaurant by a coworker. Our favorite cuisine is Peruvian food so we of course had to try it. We were a little confused at first about the parking situation, but we were able to go into the building where the restaurant is located and they let you park in there for free. We sat outside because the weather was perfect. There is construction going on, but they have a lot of plants to cover the scaffolding which was very nice. Service was excellent. They are on it. I loved everything I had. We started with the l Anticucho, bestI have had to date, and I ordered Lomo Saltado as my entrée. Delicious. My husband tried a Mojito drink, I wasn't drinking that day so I couldn't taste their cocktails, but they looked fantastic. He loved it. He also ordered Lamb as his entree and he loved it as well. If I could rate this place based on service I would rate a 0/5. The food was pretty good. I had the Lomo Saltado beef cooked medium rare. It was indeed cooked to medium rare. My problem was not the food but the service & timely manner in which my food was given to me. I waited almost 1hr & a half just for the food to arrive in front of me from the time I placed my order. Disclaimer, I was with a bigger party about 25 people. In addition, $9 bottled water was served to my party without the server notifying that it would be given at a cost beforehand. Overall, I recommend the food, however, the service could have been a lot better in my opinion. I feel that it would have been nice to been notified that the food would take a little bit longer to come out for some of the dishes. read more
