Wow. Just wow. I got a chicken wrap and it was majestic. I had to close my eyes to savor the taste but my wrap dissapeared in a span of minutes. I tried the rice also and it was holy. And the music and overall ambiance of the place left me happy and satisfied. The service people were nice also. One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to.

I absolutely love this place and I'm disappointed in myself for not writing a review any sooner! This is my go-to spot every time I don't have food in the office, I've never gotten tired of my order: 1/2 chicken dark with fries/yucca and plantains. Their green sauce is out of this world!! Wish I had the recipes for everything! Layla is extremely welcoming and she develops a relationship with anyone who walks through the door, I absolutely love her hospitality. The ambiance is vibrant and alive! I love how the name is Cabaña 28, since Peru's Independence Day is on July 28th. I will never stop going here, do yourself a favor and check it out

Solid newish Peruvian casual dining near the movie theater in Cypress Creek shopping center 4 star ambience: the space has gone through a couple of different concept restaurants with the same layout, but new paint and brighter colors make a big difference. The only complaint was it was a bit loud with the staff talking at maximum volume. 4 star service: service was good. You order at the counter but then food comes to your table. It seemed mostly geared toward takeout. 4 star food: chicken sandwich was good but expensive. One suggestion is definitely by translate the overhead menu. I'm reasonably bilingual, but even the most fluent americano won't know all the food specific menu words.

We had lunch here the other day. It's located between a Greek restaurant and a Five Guys in the Cypress Creek Station on the west side of North Andrews Avenue. The location has been several different places over the years. This is a Peruvian casual restaurant now. They have a couple reasonable lunch specials -- although the menu at first appears a bit pricey. Just take the time to look it over. I had their quarter chicken lunch special ($11.95) which included a quarter chicken, white rice, beans, sweet plantains, and a soda. I paid fifty cents extra to have my meal upgraded to "white meat". Everything was perfectly cooked including the breast/wing combo through and through. The only thing I would have liked better would have been a crispier skin on the outside of the chicken. The chicken itself was fairly plain without much seasoning. The rice was very good, the black beans okay, and the plantains sweetly delicious. The sauces served with the meal are important as they give the dishes a bit of pizzazz and more flavor. There were four separate ones including ketchup, cilantro, and two different spicier ones (one yellow, one orange). They also gave us small container of pico de gallo. I used the cilantro the most along with a dash of the yellow pepper sauce to give a touch of heat. My husband got a beef bowl lunch special for his meal. In one bowl was layered white rice, black beans, and corn. On top were chunks of beef that had been grilled and lightly seasoned. He liberally added hot sauces (his choice) and said it was very good, although a lot of carbs. He enjoyed a maracuya (passion fruit) juice drink along with his lunch. I'm glad we came to try out this new neighborhood place.

I was very underwhelmed with the food. The ceviche was too sour and the corn was stale. Don't know when it was roasted, the oil went off completely. The only reason I gave 3 stars is that the Chica Morada was good and the staff was very nice. Oh, those sweet treats at the end - a plus for that. I have been to Peru and I'm not comparing the food in Florida anywhere near that authentic but still for a new restaurant, offering this doesn't make a good impression. The ambiance/interior design was a bit weird too. It was a hotch potch of fast food, diner and semi classy. But it didn't add up well. Too bad because after a movie at Regal, this could have been a nice sit down dine in place but unless they put more effort, I would pass. I love Peruvian food and will go again in a few months to give it another chance. But for now, I have my go to Peruvian places in the area.

Ordered delivery from Cabana 28. I had the lomo saltado and a chicha morada. No complaints, really. Next time I will probably visit the establishment.

Great service and amazing options to choose from. Chose the bowl since it had everything I wanted, just added the fries. Inside has meant seating options including booths! Highly suggest if you need something fast and yummy

Can't wait to come back and try other items. Friendly staff, good food, decent portions, tasty sauces

We came in for lunch at this location that opened in space previously occupied by a couple of other restaurants in this busy strip center. The interior is bright and cheerful, and we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. A plus for me was that they were featuring Passion Fruit as one of the beverages! As we looked over the menu, we saw a lot of the traditional Peruvian dishes we were familiar with, and they offer Lunch Specials as well. I chose the Beef Bowl which was layered with fluffy white rice, a generous portion of black beans, and corn. On top were chunks of beef that had been grilled and lightly seasoned. They serve hot sauces on the side which help to wake up all of the flavors in the bowl. A satisfying and filling meal for $11.95, not including my Passion Fruit beverage. As we dined, several lunch customers came in and there were some take-out orders being picked up. Nice to have a local Peruvian restaurant near by.

The wonderful person that prepares our Ceviches

Simply disappointed we had ordered from this place on various occasions and woe we were served old food as it was hard to eat disgusting. We ordered a chicken bowl and Pollo a la Brasa with 2 sides and this was by far the oldest chicken ever even in the bowl the chicken tasted horrible dry burned from the reheat and dry like a carton, as well as the yellow plantain and soggy horrible looking caesar salad. Sad because the service is always friendly and the ambiance is a good vibe, but today there is nothing positive to say about the chicken only how can you serve food like that to paying customers.

Chaufa Cabaña

Great new Peruvian place! Their speciality is rotisserie chicken, Pollo a la Brasa, but we had a bunch of different things. Ceviche clásico was great, a little spicy. I had the Chaufa Cabana which is a fried rice with beef and chicken. My sons had Salchipapa, hot dog slices and French fries, clean plate club. My old son had the lomo saltado, steak rice and French fries. Large portions and had left over to take home. Got a modelo. Pour your ceviche juice in to make it a leche de Tigre!

It's a nice place to have Peruvian dishes. Their dishes are fresh and taste authentic and their price are moderate. The service is good and they have special lunch every day with lower price. The seating area is nice and clean with nice waitress.

Ate in the car because we couldn't wait.

My wife and I love trying out new Peruvian restaurants and we drove down from Delray Beach to check out this new place. I will tell y'all that it was so good we didn't even wait to get home. We are eating in the car because we couldn't wait to devour it after taking a little bite. The ceviche and Leche de Tigre were outstanding. Fish was so fresh and the flavors on both dishes were so on point. The anticuchos were marinated perfectly. The yuca frita was ridiculous because the gentleman gave me 3 different sauces to dip them in. They were extremely friendly and welcoming when I walked in. I would highly recommend giving them a shot so you can see for yourself the great work they're doing here. I cannot wait to try more of the food.

I'm still thinking about it…read more I threw all self-control out the window and ordered the Crazy Cluck from the "Loadeds" menu, and let's just say my diet is currently filing a complaint. Worth it. This thing is stacked: Nashville hot chicken tenders bringing the heat, creamy mac and cheese laying down comfort, crispy fries holding it all together, and that comeback sauce tying the whole party into one glorious, messy masterpiece. And yes... the pickles are not optional. They're part of the magic. It's basically everything good in the world tossed into one to-go box and handed to you like a delicious dare. Better than sex? Let's not get carried away... but it definitely earns a dramatic pause and a second visit. It's a quick service Nashville hot chicken spot that offers an artistic looks to a culinary compote of what you want out of life. So get to it. Thank me later.

They started with a bed of well seasoned and crispy fries. They then add a scoop or two of Mac and cheese (wasn't wet or cheesy) and then two sauced chicken tenders chopped into 4 healthy pieces. For 20 bucks it seemed a little more chicken was required but the medium sauce was perfect. They then add a campfire type sauce that similar to a light bbq and ranch type mix. It was drizzled and likely could have had an extra squirt or two. Had 4 pickle slices on side that had a slight snap. Size was enough for two to share as meal, but family of four thought it was a nice sized snack. The place is quiet, almost two quiet for a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. The employees were nice and efficient and order made fresh in 5-6 minutes after ordering. Place appeared pretty clean but boxes in front area near restrooms seemed like they should be stored out of view. We would not hesitate to return and order it again. We would ask for more final sauce and perhaps extra chicken to make it a crazy chicke n bomb !

Entered the shop and met with the chatty owner Hector who gave us a quick rundown of a few of his nineteen unique eggroll creations but ordered his number one choice, the Philly CheeseSteak Eggroll with a plentiful side of parmesan french fries. As we waited for a mere ten minutes, the open kitchen concept was inviting and super clean. Hector was not only the owner, he was the eggroll chef too. Watch him in awe as he diligently prepared our highly anticipated lunch. The eggroll was sliced in half with thinly cut steak filling the lower portion covered sparingly by melted cheese with an optional peppers and onions topper. The shell of the egg roll was crazy crispy with light oil glistening my fingers. Every bite provided a nice crunch which complemented the tender steak and gooey cheese. In between bites, I could not stop gobbling up the moist parmesan fries, which basically could have been the dessert. An Uber Eats driver was picking up a chicken flamin' cheetos eggroll which looked intriguing and will definitely be on my radar on the next trip here. The bathroom was spotless and displayed light brown hardwood flooring and white walls which flowed through the rest of the eatery. This place was a strong five star rating and recommend it seriously to any foodie who wants a try something a little different.

This location has a giant drive through, so it seems like it can handle a lot of drive through orders, although it was not very busy when I came. In terms of dining in, there are more tables outside than inside (the inside dining area is actually kinda small). All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, and my order came out quickly and piping hot. In terms of Raising Canes in general, I feel like Raising Canes is kinda like the In-N-Out of chicken restaurants. The menu is focused on a small set of foods, and those foods are done well. I'd only give it four stars though because I prefer other places' tenders and the food options they offer more, specifically the sauce options (I'm not the biggest fan of the Canes sauce). But the Texas toast and French fries are really good. On a sustainability note, I'd also wish they didn't serve everything in styrofoam containers. I feel like there is a more sustainable and Earth friendly option than styrofoam.
