Hey! Lil Arnsbarger, gimme a Mickey's! Arnie's is a fantastic little dive bar in the center of The Blue Done district. Lots of locals come here to drink, smoke, eat cheese ballz. You can smoke inside so be careful with that shuffle board weight and don't set the table on fire. The bar has all you need. Whiskey, and more whiskey. A few beers on tap, tons of bottles and cans of varieties and pitchers if you want to share or be a lush. It's a pretty small place, but that only makes it feel cozy. Plus the people are great. They have darts in the back and shuffle board in the front. If you like to get a little smoke in your hair and enjoy shots with everyone at the bar, Arnie's is where you want to be. I really don't know why people fancy this establishment. Maybe I'm just viewing it negatively as a claustrophobic asthmatic, but this place is not so great. I'm seeing a lot of reviews about people commenting on the "friendliness" of the staff. Was I in some alternate dimension, in which the staff are all required to be surly jerks? Maybe. We love Arnie's everytime we stay downtown in Tulsa. We have family in sand springs so we frequent the Hyatt down town and always visit this bar, its nasatalgic for us. Great beer with a dive feel, only slight downfall is they do not offer food but you can order a pizza next door or bring some food, relax and sit inside or on the patio with a fire or heaters going!!! If you like chill this is the place for some cheap drinks. The bar is pretty small but it is very famous within the downtown area. The only drawback is you can smoke in there which can get a little irritating with all the smoke in the air. But if you are willing to overlook that, it's a nice chill place. We were a pretty big party of 15-20 as people came and go. We were the only people in the place on patio ordering drinks constantly at 12-1:30am. The bartender working there was the rudest bartender we've ever come across. He was practically throwing us out after everyone had left him very generous tips. The place profited easily 500$ from us that night on a SLOW Monday. Most bars would've been appreciative of that but not Arnies. We were here visiting Tulsa for a wedding and we decided on arnies for our last night out with the new bride and groom. NEVER AGAIN. The bartender literally stated " you guys can say bye outside" as we were all getting up and hugging each other. Go to Red's across the street and spend your money at a place that appreciates your dollar and business. read more

Arnie's is my favorite kind of dive bar. Dark, smokey, familiar, and daresay cozy. It always feels like everyone in here knows everyone else. And there is shuffleboard. What more could you ask for?? They have cheap beer pitchers, and a nice walled patio for the warmer nights. Arnie's is tied with Fassler for my favorite blue dome bars. It isn't pretentious, it just is what it is! read more

Arnies in itself isn't a "bad" bar, but that horrible bartender Sean Ryan- whom we have run into in another bar as it's bartender, is a full blown JERK. Rude to me, rude to my husband(in BOTH bars), couldn't bother serving us AT THE BAR because he had 2 'buddies,' or 'regulars' at the other end... we had to BEG for a friggin bottled beer. Was it our fault he's a jerk while we were being 'friendly?' Nope. That's just WHO he is. We're in agreement, if we ever see him behind a bar, we're taking our money elsewhere, where at least we'll be ignored instead of outright maltreatment from someone who supposedly wants business/money. There are SO MANY better bartenders in this town, we won't miss each other, for sure. read more

This will always be my favorite bar. This was my first "Regular Bar" as it was for many. This was the bar I've made many good friends at (including my husband). i would give you a five arnie....but smoking is such a turn off. however, it does not keep me from enjoying whiskey at the bar while listening to some rad local music. the patio is a little oasis right off the street...the back room is good for...as much as you'd like it to be =) i've been told not to relax too long on the couch though...one can only imagine really. it's a lovely kelly green for one thing. cheers to you, a place where i could see everyone knowing my name...and not for the stories associated with the couch. read more

I enjoyed that this bar wasn't over done and has a patio area. It's very small but has great character. The gin and tonic was well made.

Great little bar. Emphasis on little. I love this place on week nights. Laid back local watering hole. However on weekends you couldn't pay me to visit when it gets packed. This bar is trash. We arrived at midnight with a wedding party. It was a relatively slow night. The bar is advertised as open until 2am. The bartender told us we had 4 minutes to finish our drinks at about 1:35. We thought he meant last call but he actually kicked us out at about 1:45. He was incredibly rude. Of course, I had personally already left a 25% tip which I would LOVE to take back. To make it even better, there were 2 gentleman that were still there drinking when we were being asked to "head out" for no reason... no one was drunk... No one was being rude... We all drank and tipped well. I'm normally hesitant to speak poorly of a place based on the representation of 1 employee, however this was pretty unbelievable. read more

I went here one night with some friends from work since there were bands playing downtown. When we went in it was very packed and very smoky which I did not like. I mean is a different place to go since they do have bands and it doesn't feel like you're at a night club, but i can't say i was a fan. The people who go here are just not my type of people and if i were to go again I would maybe go early so i could find a seat. The cool thing though was that they do serve drinks in a cool plastic souvenir cup that you can take home with you. Aside from that, i think that is the only thing they really have going. Unless you really like to chain smoke and touch everyone who is at the bar I would not suggest it. Maybe if i were to go with a group of all my friends and the bar was full of people i know i would have liked it a little better. read more

An established great "dive bar" and the heart of the Blue Dome District, honestly, the Blue Dome is almost/if not connected to Arnie's. I like to get a drink and quickly get outside to the patio to avoid smelling like smoke. They have bar snacks, if that's your thing. Also, don't bring up the popcorn girl, it may still be a sore subject for them (I still laugh and wish I could have seen the popcorn girl and her popcorn angels in person). read more
