If a dive bar had a favorite dive bar, this would be it. The place reeks of character and characters. When I walked in, the bouncer asked to see my ID. When he saw I had traveled from the northeast all the way to Tulsa, he was genuinely happy about it. He called out a guy's name and told him to come up to the front and said "We caught another one of you, so can we throw you back in the water?" Everyone had a great laugh. Great start! This might be normal in these parts, but I was astonished when I got an ashtray when I ordered my beer. This sort of thing hasn't been seen where I live in over 20 years. I felt like I had traveled back in time. I don't smoke, but I loved it. While the decor seems haphazard, that is kinda the point. But if you look close enough, there's thought to how they space things out. The service is friendly, the staff is fun, the music is great, and everyone is there to relax and have something to drink and a few laughs. So refreshing. Bottom's up, gang.

Check out this patio on a nice day! It's very enclosed, so it can be pretty chilly outside and still really comfortable.

Arnie's is such a great bar in the historic Blue Dome district in downtown Tulsa! We've gone for years, but stopped by recently to check out the remodeled back room. WOW! They have done a fantastic job of keeping the relaxed vibe, but also making sure that they enhanced the experience. The patio is also always a great choice when the weather is nice. I love how they've redone the fire place area but kept the cozy atmosphere. You can't beat the service, prices and ambiance of this local gem!

Arnie's was so cool that I ended up there 3 times in 10 hours! I first went there at around 3pm to have a beverage while wandering around downtown Tulsa. It was the 1st place bar I passed after leaving the hotel. I had a great bartender and met a regular that knows a friend of mine in Green Bay - small world. I came back to Arnie's at about 9pm after dinner. The crowd was larger and younger and I sat next to a guy that was telling the world that he was selling everything he owned and was off to see America. I then left for a while but I never found anything better than Arnie's, so I found my way back for a final call beverage. great intimate and divey atmosphere, awesome bartenders, shuffleboard and patio. It's the real deal and seems to attract a great authentic mix of people. I'll be back, so save me a stool.

Guinness FTW

If you want a true Irish Pub that has been around since what seems like the dawn of Tulsa, this is your place. The beer selection is good and it rotates a bit, so there's usually something new to try in addition to the regular favorites. The bar itself, in conjunction with the staff, make this place "that bar". It's an amazing place to unwind, whether you're wanting to unwind on the patio, you'd rather shoot darts, or if shuffleboard is your thing... Arnie's is a good bet. Can't wait to make this my first stop next time I'm in Tulsa.

Marshall IPA...my new friend.

Stopped by here for a nightcap my last night in Tulsa. This bar is pretty cool...it's an old style Irish Pub. I love the old school feeling of it. There are a few bars around the area, but on this night (Tue), this bar was the busiest. The front bar is kind of small and was tight to move around. The full length shuffleboard makes it kind of difficult to get around the tables when it's packed. There's several areas....a patio, rear dining room, front bar.....not sure if there was anything else, but those areas were open the night I was there. I parked myself in the front bar at a table and enjoyed a locally brewed Marshall IPA.....very good beer. I was only able to have one beer though as I had to get up early to check out and catch a plane back home. Will I return? Next time I'm in Tulsa, you bet!

Yeah, I took my mom to Arnie's for Mother's Day. She doesn't drink. And she loved it.

From a recent visit on Valentine's Day due to a spot having their kitchen close early (my pops was performing across the street so when they were done, we came over here), I'm glad we ended up eating here. We came in, got greeted instantly & even got a table the moment after we got greeted. I find it wild that we usually get seated by the stairs in the middle, not in a bad way, I really like that table & we end up there a majority of the time when it's just us two. I wish I remembered our server's name, she did an excellent job. I went with the Whiskey Burger & it was incredible. The wait on the food didn't take long at all. The whiskey chipotle BBQ sauce stole the show. The burger was perfect. The sweet potato fries went well with the burger, I got honey mustard as my dipping sauce. I was so hungry that I ran through my whole plate in a snap of a finger. I enjoyed that night, no complaints whatsoever. Side Note: The Olympics were going on & Curling was on the television on my right. I actually looked up how the sport takes place & I learned something new that night (outside of the fact that Curling always intrigued me).

The inside bar looked very nice but it was packed. No seats. The menu was decent and I settled on a burger. It was good. The sweet potato fries needed a little longer in the fryer but still good. The Old Fashioned was tasty. Overall a nice place to stop downtown for a drink a burger maybe before a drillers game.

We didn't know it, but it was $10 fish and chips night, the dish is usually $19. That also seems like their most popular dish. We ordered one of those and also the pastrami meatballs. The fish and chips is large enough for two to share, especially paired with the meatballs. There were 3 meatballs in the dish. They were covered with cheese and sauce and so good. The portion was perfect for two to share. For drinks, I had Chardonnay and my husband had Guiness. Both very good. Overall we really enjoyed Bishop Quigley's. We would definitely go back. I bet it's really fun on a Friday or Saturday night. Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10

The fish portion was large and had a delicate and crispy batter that was delicious. The batter didn't get soft or gooey, or fall off while eating it. It came on a pile of potato wedges, which were also made well with crispy-ish outsides and soft insides. The fish on top of them limited the crispness of the outsides, but didn't lower the score. With a squeeze of grilled lemon and some malt vinegar it was pretty close to perfection. It may take a trip to Jolly Old England to beat it, and I've had F&C in England and Ireland so I can at least compare it to the good stuff.

Prices may seem a little bit high on the food, but I do think it's worth it based on how much you get. The drinks on the other hand... I'm not enough of a drinker to know if the prices are fair, but they do seem a little bit high to me. They're great, but they do see them on the higher end as far as price is concerned for a mixed drink in Tulsa. It's a fun atmosphere, and they are really easy to work with as far as if you want to host an event here. I've hosted a handful of events here at this point with different types of people in attendance, and everyone always seems to be happy. The staff truly are super easy to work with in that aspect.

It was seat yourself and order at the bar, and there were plenty clean open tables! We were thrilled. Our drinks were poured instantly and food didn't take long at all. I love that they have cocktails added which differs from their original brewery taproom. My brat was delicious. Super hot and fresh fries. But I was actually disappointed in the cheese curds. They were gritty texture and way over salted. That was the main thing everyone told me to try, but I'd definitely still go back.
