Didn't need to buy/replace my HVAC burner box, which Little Guy quoted me as $2900. For this reason, I'm giving them a 3 stars out of 5. The technician was fine but doesn't seem knowledgeable. Should try to figure out the least expensive option/route for the customer rather than the expensive route. He also suggested to replace my HVAC eventually that's only a 3-4 years old....

There was more than enough room to either move the bed properly, ask if a ladder was available, or simply arrive with the correct equipment in the first place. Using a customer's bed as a tool was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. As for the restroom situation, there is proof of your technician entering and exiting the restroom, and immediately afterward urine was left on the toilet seat and bathroom floor. That mess was not there beforehand. Calling it an "allegation" instead of addressing the concern respectfully is disappointing. I shared my honest experience as a customer. Professionalism is not just about completing a job it's also about respecting someone's home, cleanliness, and basic courtesy while inside it.

I unnecessarily caused myself three loads of sheets which I used to cover up things under the vents. In two hours they had everything cleaned and left no trace. Thank God I didn't start a dryer fire. The second I shut it off and made sure everything was ok, I opened Yelp and searched for a dryer vent cleaner. Chris's Insulation came up, he had great ratings, he was super close by, so after calling a different service and going to voicemail, I called Chris. Chris picked up after the second ring. When I told him that I needed someone to clean our dryer vent and what had happened, he said he could come out either between 5:00 and 6:00 pm that evening or the next day. It was already mid-afternoon when I called, so I was surprised to hear him say he could still come out same-day, but I decided to have him do that since I was free and also still a little shaky following what happened with the vent either smoking or steaming. Chris showed up during the window he quoted and wasted no time getting to work. He started the second he arrived and was done within the hour. His pricing was incredibly reasonable and fair and so far, in the couple of weeks since he was here, we've had no issues with the dryer. Before he left, he also sent us a ton of pictures of what the vent looked like post-cleaning. Super happy and relieved.

I was very happy with the service from the ladies in the office to Wes our technician. Just a heads up, they have a monthly maintenance plan ($12.95 a month) that they will try and sell you. It includes an annual check of your A/C unit and of your heater. Any additional work or service calls are then 20% off. The owner of that business recommended Sunlight Electrical to fix my system. I spoke with Carlos at Sunlight. He sent out Isaac who seemed very capable. Isaac's assessment was that my system had multiple wiring issues and recommended a service that would require a larger team to complete. He explained why, and I concurred with Isaac's recommendation. Carlos scheduled a larger team to come out the next week. They were led by Jesus, who also seemed quite knowledgeable. Jesus and his team worked diligently for 4 hours. They found more wiring errors as Isaac has predicted. And they found a damaged Tesla MC2 unit on the roof which had cracked. After they completed their repairs, the system started operating better than it ever had before. I estimate that I am now getting an extra 10-15% more power from the solar panels. In addition to providing capable technicians, I really appreciate that Sunlight is so easy to work with. I asked several highly technical questions and always got thoughtful answers. If you want something done a specific way, just ask them. They have such a positive, customer oriented attitude that makes them a pleasure to deal with.

I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. I cannot recommend Armored Air HVAC highly enough! As a first-time homeowner, I was completely stressed out when my A/C stopped working. I had no idea what was wrong or how much it was going to cost, and honestly, I was so overwhelmed that my sister had to call for me because I was frozen with worry. The owner, Arthur personally came out within 10 minutes of our call, quickly assessed the problem, and had my A/C running again in no time. He also fixed a couple other things in my yard that he saw weren't dialed in correctly. What impressed me even more was his honesty and kindness--because it was such a simple fix, he refused to take any money from me. Adrian, Arthur, and their crew are very conscientious, honest, hard working, professional, and prompt. We appreciated their candor with the furnace having cracks everywhere and explained the importance of replacing it. It was the original furnace and the house is 31 years old. Other people who had come by quoted us much higher and we didn't feel comfortable with them. When we met with Adrian and Arthur, we immediately felt comfortable. They worked very hard with installing two furnaces and two AC units. They also wired everything for us and cleaned up both attics and inside the home. We couldn't believe that they finished the work in two days and made sure that everything was working before leaving. Thank you for answering all of our questions and addressing our concerns. He's always gone above and beyond, even providing rooftop photos of work being done. Recently, he and his crew replaced a 50-year-old unit in my Timberlake Condo unit that is quieter and more economical than the old unit that had finally developed leaks. The drainage line also had gotten plugged over the years allowing condensation overflow from the tray onto the wood flooring. The crew tried to blow it out but were unable, so a different way of ridding of condensation was added. Best to do yearly maintenence so problems don't develop and those have always been very reasonably priced.

8/3/20 Brent Turner heating and cooling Services was…read morereferred to us by a friend who had a great experience with him.He sent one of his guys out to evaluate our system in our home,his worker by the name of Sean was great! After Sean expected the unit and called his boss Bret to explain the issue.Bret ensured us that we will be taken care of within a week and that we needed to replacement part that had went out in the unit,and the company didn't carry the part, that it would take 3 to 5 business days to come in so we said ok we'll wait patiently even with the 105 degree heat. Because we were pleased how timely his team specifically Sean responded to our call. All of a sudden mentally something went terribly wrong with Bret.The weekend had passed, and it was time for Brent and his worker to come back out and repair the unit proximally 1 week.remember we're still suffering and 105 degree heat with no AC working. He instanly mentally snapped and went off on my husband over the telephone,I thought how scary? (Mental illness is so real folks,get help if you need it, please!!) He exclaims to my husband that he have never had this issue with a customer and we were the only customer with this particular issue which I find to be a complete lie and a very interesting comment!!!! And so what if you didn't,Figure it out Bret your suppose to be a licensed professional contractor, what a complete waste of our time. Bret continued to rant histerically, my husband said he sounded drunk and was really agitated, not to mention this was at 8:00a.m. in the morning on 8/3/20 Monday morning! Who starts a day off as a professional business owner with a California Contractors license offering a service for people with such a nasty, unprofessional,angry attitude so early in the a.m. morning hour?We were shocked and so dissatisfied!!!!!!
