I've known Jaymon, the owner of Airmergency for about 20 years and he's been my go-to guy and company to service my AC/Heat unit for two locations. He's always gone above and beyond, even providing rooftop photos of work being done. Recently, he and his crew replaced a 50-year-old unit in my Timberlake Condo unit that is quieter and more economical than the old unit that had finally developed leaks. The drainage line also had gotten plugged over the years allowing condensation overflow from the tray onto the wood flooring. The crew tried to blow it out but were unable, so a different way of ridding of condensation was added. Best to do yearly maintenence so problems don't develop and those have always been very reasonably priced. read more

Owner stretches himself way to thin & is more worried about his Demon Dodge & Hummer then his customers. This was a small job supposed to take 3 days max! It took over 2full weeks!! NO FINAL WALKTHROUGH WAS EVER DONE! No receipt ever given! Job started august 31st finally finished sept 11 Owner was never on job he had 2 guys on project both explained later they had a dirty license & just using company for experience & owner has many problems with clients. Showed up 30 minutes after promised window. No apologies. They have been three times and always leave without fixing anything. Just charge for "flushing". Issue of fluctuating temp happens daily. So incompetent. I got a second opinion that said they hear this from former Airmergency clients. Their attitudes are so bad I asked them to leave my house in the middle of the job. Keeping my tenants content means everything to me. Airmergency came up on Yelp as a premier business that could help me with a concern. I blindly called and clearly made the right choice as the staff was courteous even though the weather in the valley was topping at 114 degrees. Since my tenants just had a baby they really had an "Air- Emergency" and once i gave them my number, Jaymon -the Owner called me himself. He asked me some key questions and based on just a few questions was able to pretty much diagnose the issue over the phone and send someone out today with all the stuff they needed just based on his experience. you rarely get this kind of service and attention from a staff and owner so they get top honors from me and my tenants will surely agree as well. read more

Really disapointed! We had nothing wrong at all with all of our units, but for saftey and peace of mind we decided to find a reputable and reliable local veteran owned company (I am also a USMC veteran, so alsways on the look out for local vet owned companies to use as their is already trust their on a personal level) to start a service contract with. Our units are new as we just bought a new large home with multiple units; so basically it was just the fact of knowing all of our units were serviced and in tip top shape to help keep my growing family comfortable in the heat waves and cold months was really important to us. So after reading all of the great reviews and what everyone had to say to say about Airmergency; I thought it was a no brainer to call them to set things up. So I explained nothing was wrong and all of the units were new but that we just wanted them to be serviced a minimum of 2 times a year and build a relationship with a local company we can trust should any issues come up in the future. At which point they returned my call and we set something up about a month out (this was during the recent heat wave so totally fine as I was sure they were swammped), and we had everything setup to start our service with Airmergency. So far they were great and very helpful.... Now fast forward a full month and the day came to have them start our first service visit. I received a voicemail nice and early reminding me that I had an appointment and that someone would be by between 10 and 12 and if I had any questions to not hesitate to give them a call (keep in mind this is exactly what was said and I saved the voicemail just in case). So i hadnt scheduled anything early on my day off so i could be here and 10 rolls around then 12, then 2, then almost 3 and I have plans at 330 and I give them a call. Keep in mind this is after giving them the benefit of the doubt as I know things come up so I waited patiently for them to arrive even late if need be because i didnt have anything going on so no big deal at all. When i called they asked my name to look it up and then promptly told me that they called and left a message stating that they wanted to confirm i would be home for the service tech to come by (now remember i received a "courtesy call" which is exactly what she said and no time did she state in the voicemail that I needed to confirm only to call if I had any questions), she also stated that they would call multiple times to confirm just to be sure and was a bit rude about it (a bit not a lot, so not trying to make it sound like she was just being a complete a#$ about it but still rude) as I had not called them back to confirm or something when that was obviously not the case. Once I explained things she did apologize quickly before saying "ok lets see when we can get you back on the schedule" Wait, what!?! No attempts to apologize for me taking the day off and being here and the fact they called to remind me as a "courtesy call" but then after it they were 3 hours late, now lets just try and get you back on the schedule, oh and on top of it how about on a Saturday! Sorry but already took a day off for an appointment I set OVER A MONTH AGO, and got the warm and fuzzy they were coming without a doubt with the early courtesy call to remind me, and now I would have to roll the dice again that someone would be here on my actual day off and risk losing half or more of one of my few days off... sorry but I think I will go elsewhere. Ok that all said keep in mind I am writing this to inform not to try and dissuade anyone from using them at all. I just felt it was the right thing to do to let others know my experience and that based with the great reviews decide whether you want to give them a shot and nothing more. So no disrespect to the people at Airmergency, but this was a very very easily avoided mistake which cost me a whole lot more than it did them and for that reason I will take my business elsewhere. Simple as that. Best of luck and if anything hopefully this will help keep something like this from happening to anyone else once someone reads this. They came out to give me a quote, told me we have a crack. I was told there was no charge for the consult. I received a bill in October via email. I responded back to the email that I was confused as I was told by their employee that there was no charge. I didn't hear back and thought everything was fine. If I could give this company 6 stars, I would. I called and spoke to the owner yesterday, and I was in a total bind. I'd had PG&E out here, then took time off work to have a contractor restore my heat - that guy was a no-show. I was cold and sick! So of course, I turned to Yelp, and I am so glad I did! PG&E completely misdiagnosed the problem (which could have cost me $$$). Jaymon took a few minutes to figure it out (literally, just a few mins), and I have heat again. He was super reasonable about the charge - I was actually surprised. Having spoken to several companies over the past few days, there are a lot of bigger companies that were completely unaffordable. I've already shared my experience with AIRMERGENCY with my Facebook friends. I rarely write reviews on Yelp, but I am 110% satisfied with the service I received, and I will be back if needed. I called Jaymon the Saturday before the July 4th holiday week when I noticed that the temperatures in our home were rising despite the air conditioner running constantly (Yep, of course in the 107 degree heat!). I don't know how he does it, but either Jaymon answers his phone directly or he calls you back within 5 mins. Jaymon was able to come out the same day that I called him. After extensive testing, we ended up ordering a compressor. But when the compressor arrived and Jaymon installed it, through his extensive testing, he realized that it was actually our coil that was malfunctioning and so a new condenser was ordered instead. We bought our home new 5 yrs. ago and the home builder used substandard air conditioning equipment, so every summer in the triple digit heat waves, we would have to call for more coolant, etc. Meanwhile, our air conditioner was running so loud in our backyard and it would release a high pitched whistling noise. Jaymon identified that it was the condenser causing this noise. It sure would have been nice if one of the other 2 repair guys could have figured this out earlier on! Perhaps it would have still been covered by the manufacturer's warranty! All that money was basically spent for temporary seasonal repair! Now our air conditioner is running quietly and because it's so efficient, we can set our thermostat for proper zoning to reduce our utility bill. We were never able to do that before because anything higher than 74 degrees felt like we were boiling! Jaymon was a man of his word and arrived when promised. He's professional, organized and very kind. He warrantied our condenser, but something tells me that this time it was repaired correctly and we may not need to call him back for a long while. read more

I solely choose Airmergency based on the reviews, and they lived up to their reputation. From the 1st point I contacted them, they were very professional and prompt. They offered to come out within 24 hours (when we were in the middle of a recent heat wave). Unfortunately, I was not available until the next day. They gave me a window of 12-2, and were at my front door by 12:05. Within 30 minutes, my problem was fixed. I am unsure about how competitive their prices were, however, I would rather pay more for good and prompt service. Overall, excellent company. read more

We had called Airmergency many times for our heater issue. For some reason, we got the same problem again and again. The heater only blew cold air and no heat. Everytime we called them they always tried to call us back quickly and I even got a call back from the owner on a Sunday. For the same problem, the did not charge again even their tech was at the site for hours. Though the problem came back, we felt they were honest by not making up story to charge us again like sime other contractors. So far our heater is still working good and hope we dont have the problem any more. read more

When my heater went out on my house I called air emergency and two other local ac/heat companys. I got Quotes. They weren't The cheapest nor the most expensive But due to their prompt service I chose to go with them. And I'm so glad I did. They brought us portable heaters to keep the house warm until the unit arrived they installed it and after a week the unit failed. They continue to take care of us and put a new unit on the roof at no cost to me That's why I paid a little more for good service.
