These guys are absolutely amazing! I had a AC leak and they dispatched out first think the morning and the 2 gentlemen that came fixed the clogged pipe and added a drain line. They were super attentive and made sure I had all questions answered before leaving. The owner answered every question any time I texted him. The original issue was so super stressful and working with this company eased my stress. On top of everything else they did not try to sell or upsell anything. Their service is worth so much more than they charge. I will never look elsewhere for AC help. read more

Chris was so easy to work with. I contacted him based on his YELP reviews and he did not disappoint. The furnace motor at my rental property went out. Chris was very honest and saved me a lot of money. Another business went out the day prior and tried to convince me the furnace and AC unit needed to be replaced. They quoted me $28k!!! A complete ripoff. So thankful I found Chris. No BS!!! He got right to work. He ordered the replacement part, installed it a couple of days later and the furnace was back up and running. I highly recommend Chris and his services! Thank you! read more

I read a negative review on here talking about Luke and it's ridiculous. He is one of the most knowledgeable techs you'll ever meet. If he is in your backyard for 30 minutes, he is checking the coolant levels in your system and that takes a long time. They installed a complete system in my house a few years ago. They are a great group of guys. I've recommended them to a few friends that had A/C emergencies when it was 100° and they took care of them the same day. Today my father-in-laws heater wouldn't turn on. I called Chris and Luke showed up 10 mins later and fixed it fast. Great service, highly recommended. read more

Do your research before calling the first number you see for AC services. Because this company is NOT IT. We had this guy Luke come out. Literally has no freaking idea what he is doing. He's muttering to himself. He has no respect for other peoples property. He is slamming stuff and hitting stuff. Super rough. He would disappear outside for 30 mins or so no idea what he is doing. My sister calls his boss and his boss literally says "you guys sound like a horrible situation" and hangs up on her We tell Luke if you don't know what your doing. Put everything back the way it is and leave. He has been here for 2 hours and literally nothing has been done. As he leaves he is muttering to him self. Good luck. You will have AC until about 2pm and SLAMS our gate shut DO NOT HIRE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, incompetent company. read more

Chris the owner seemed like a good guy but we needed our ac fixed and he said we needed a new furnace , so we paid him and he came and installed it he told the 4 of us here it was going to be nice and cold in here . Well it's been over a week and with the thermostat at 70 my house is 77 degree , my husband has been calling him he came back found a problem with Freon fixed that the house is still Hot .I'm bedridden and so hot He told us today he won't come fix it and having someone else check it would void our warranty. Take him to court if I want too . Please people run , get references . This was not cheap and he refuses to help . read more

This review is a bit overdue, In early October, our A/C stopped working, My wife and I were recovering from COVID and our two story home in Manteca was pretty hot. We called two companies to service our A/C. One quote was. $3,800 to replace a burned wire, the mother board, and the motor; no warranty would be provided. The second quote was for $3,200 to repair four switches with one year warranty; no mention of burned wire nor mother board nor the motor. Both mentioned that it would be best to replace the entire unit and it would cost approx $15K. We decided to contact a third company, so we reached out to A.S.A.P. We are super glad we made that third phone call. The guy that came out found the problem (a burned wire) and fixed it quickly for under $200. Amazing service and respectful integrity. We will be referring all our friends and family to Chris and his crew. read more

ASAP Heating & Air Conditioning - New A/C unit - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Modesto, California

Good Evening, Yelpies!!!! I would like to introduce you all to an owner operator that listens to its customers wants and needs then turns those requests into a competitively priced HVAC system that will stop you from getting several quotes from other Heating & Air Companies. I did all the leg work and had 4 companies look at my house and listen to what I wanted done. I received some high quotes from those Cadillac HVAC companies and some lower than normal quotes that lacked value or experience. At the end what I received from Chris was a fair price and professional and courteous people that care about my concerns and my house. Forgot to mention that the city inspector said they always do a great job!!! My HVAC installation was not basic they upgraded me to a 4 ton unit with all new ducting plus relocation of the condenser to the other side of the house so we can relax by the pool without hearing the AC running. Give Chris a call and wait to be a very happy customer for life!! read more

Our AC which is a brand new one (replaced just last year) went out for some reason. I called around and no one was available to come and check it out. We have a 2 year old in the house and the temperature in the house was 87 degrees so we went to my sisters house. In the mean time, a neighbor recommended Chris from ASAP Heating and AC. Chris returned my call promptly and was willing to come check out our issue. However, in the meantime, a relative was able to get our unit going again. I promptly notified Chris before he sent his guys out and he was a true professional and told me to give him a call if we needed his service. I can really appreciate this because we were getting desperate. read more

They put a unit in and never cooled the building. Our electric bill jumped to $2,700 a month. Chris told us we needed new ducting, had new ducting installed unit still did not cool. Called Thorsen out and climbed on roof and watched what he was doing, ASAP had the unit wired wrong so the heat and air were both on at same time hense the huge electric bill. Worst customer service ever. My last post was deleted off yelp. I didnt think that was allowec read more

The owner and crew were amazing. I called and within 3 days Chris came out, diagnosed the problem and installed a new unit. The whole process was easy due to the knowledgeable and timely crew. Our central AC broke down Saturday night! Desperately tried to get a technician but no one was available. Out side temperature touched 105 and the house went up 90 Today started calling shops around 8:30 in the morning. First ten places didn't have any openings. After about an hour got lucky - Chris at A.S.A.A agreed to come! He came over promptly and Viola within about ten minutes the AC started humming sweetly A Big THANK YOU Chris read more

I called this company out on an issue my tenant was having with the heater not working properly on a new, under warranty HVAC system that was installed by this company and after 3 visits and him telling me my tenant didnt know how to work the system, nothings wrong with it, we are wasting his time, I sent another vendor out who found and repaired the problem! And this something that should have been covered by warranty with this company, instead costing my owner to get it repaired by another company. Then when I called Chris to tell him a problem WAS found, my tenants were correct, something was wrong, he stated to me that he thinks I got taken advantage of. Shame on you Chris. Definitely think twice about using this company, they are very cheap in their costs, but their work reflects just that. read more

June of 2022 I decided on A.S.A.P. due to customer service. I tend to come up with questions after an estimate is made. I called Chris several times before accepting his estimate with questions and concerns. He never hesitated to answer them even though I was not his client yet. He was always understanding and extremely kind and informative. We have never really been able to get our house cool. If it is over 100 outside our ac will run NON STOP and if we are lucky keep the house between 78 & 80. The unit is not the issue, years ago we replaced it with a larger one (not by ASAP), nothing changed. We ended up needing all new ducks because they were to small even for our old unit. We had so much work done to make the system better. A new vent was added in our hottest room (the family room /kitchen) our return was not large enough to remove the build up of heat so a new intake was added in the front part of the house. We had to have a special duct built along side the furnace in the garage due to extremely limited space and the old one not being large enough to circulate air properly. We had dampeners installed just incase we faced the same issue as before - cold bedrooms/bathrooms HOT living area, and had new insulation blown into the attic. They did have to come out and adjust the dampeners because we were still getting to much air in the back and not up front where we spend our time. During the heat wave of September our ac did great. It maintained the house at between 74 & 76 everyday I think. We were able to cool it down to 72 at night. When not in a heat wave the ac keeps our house at 74, so we are satisfied. I recommended him to my neighbor and within a couple weeks my neighbor was also having work done by them. read more

Thanks Chris, your response was better than I expected whenever I have any issues I will call you first and I will refer u to friends and family you're a very honest company thanks again for fixing my air conditioner when the temperatures are 100° right now and climbing today to 110 I would like to add another five star to the five starsrick read more

Thank you Marcos at ASAP for the Excellent Above Average Service we received when you came to our home to service our AC unit. Great Outstanding Work! We moved into our new home 45 days ago and immediately had problems with our AC unit. An ASAP worker was sent out prior to the record heat-wave and found a broken AC motor and replaced it. Unfortunately there were other issues with the unit that were not addressed at that time and we suffered during the heat wave. Marcos came in this AM and within a short period of diagnosing the AC unit found and serviced several key issues. The coils and filters were soiled/Unit was leaking/And there was no coolant. Thank you Marcos for your thorough efficient service! You are a 5 Star serviceman! read more

*DO NOT CALL FOR SERVICE* Our A/C is out. Not running. During 100 degree weather. My husband called him, referred. Chris told him he would be out today between 11-12pm. 2pm, my husband called him and left a voice mail because he did not answer, leaving his name phone number and that we were waiting for his arrival. Now 5pm. I call him from a different phone number and voila! he answered! He tried to play dumb. But said under his breath, but loud enough for me to hear "oh shoot". yes. oh shoot. oh shoot we are in a house that is heating up. oh shoot I could have called someone else out. oh shoot, he forgot us. plain and simple. He stated he could come first thing in the morning. I asked him why would he not be willing to come now? He's just tied up he said. Oh you mean your day is over and now you're at home in your air conditioner? yes he said. Thats ok. If he's not willing to come out now, at 5pm, I do not need his services. And, he thanked me! I sincerely hope. you consider this brutally honest review. *DO NOT CALL FOR SERVICE* read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE. AC broke on the first day of 100 degree weather. Not in anyway his fault, but after being told he would come by at 11 AM, he didn't show up until 2:30 PM without any notice of delay. He replaced one part for 30 minutes, charged us $190, then right after he left it broke again. After stating that he would be "rushing back" we didn't hear from him for another 2 hours until WE CALLED HIM, and then were told he would be here in an hour and a half. Never showed up. No phone call. After I called him back at almost 9 o'clock at night he says he will "rip up our check" that we gave him and he will come by our house at noon the next day. Again, he cancels and now he's stating he will not be canceling our payment. Basically he's a thief. When told we really needed him to come by, he says he has other jobs that were "just as important" and we should have gone to a bigger corporation. Worst service in my life, basically being robbed, with babies at home in 100 degree weather, this man has the audacity to say we shouldn't have trusted him. read more

ASAP has gone down hill over the past few years. I used them for a few years to resolve issues at my house as well as my multiple rentals. They used to do a good job for me but these last few issues can't be overlooked. Numerous installation issues due to poor craftsmanship that required me to call them back repeatedly and ultimately had to be repaired by a different company after I got tired of the excuses. Even people we referred to them have been having issues. Completely disappointed in them and will not recommend them again. read more
