We had a renegade dryer vent run about 35' long. I had to filter thru a bunch of scams to find these guys. They were friendly on the phone, prompt and clear about pricing. The tech was on time, friendly, and fixed an issue that was more difficult than he expected. He also was honest regarding our need for another service (we didn't) - which pretty much guarantees we will use them when we do. One star less because the cleanup could have been slightly better, but overall, great experience. read more

They just ABSOLUTELY NEVER DISAPPOINT!! I've been using HomeSmart to clean my Carpets since Before 2015 and I just won't use anyone ELSE!! They are JUST THAT GOOD!! I recently just used them again and noticed I left a Yelp review for them back in 2015 and I am back again to Sing their Praise! Just SIMPLY EXCELLENT!!! They are very knowledgeable, very professional and ULTRA EFFECTIVE!! My carpet is very light in color and over 13 yrs old and it ALWAYS Amazes ME how it looks BRAND NEW after their cleaning service! When they leave it feels so soft and looks like new! Unbelievable to me!! Prices are GREAT and SERVICE is TOP NOTCTH!! Only company I will use for my Carpets! Client for LIFE! read more

I have used HomeSmart Cleaning Specialties once before for carpet cleaning, which turned out remarkable! This past week I hired them again this time to clean out my air ducts. The CSR quoted me a fair price over the phone (compared to other places I called) and was able to schedule me in right away. The technician Cody phoned in 30 minutes prior to arrival and showed up within the arrival window. Very courteous. He went above & beyond thoroughly cleaned and even sanitized the air ducts. It took him about 2 1/2 hours, and he didn't leave without making sure all surrounding areas were vacuumed and put back in place. I would definitely recommend them for any air duct and carpet cleaning you may need. read more

We used HomeSmart again for another bedroom.....we had buckling that needed to be repaired and a good cleaning and once again, David Jerome did an awesome job! We were given a window, 8am-9am and he arrived around 8:15am, ready to work. He put the bed on blocks and assessed the damage and quoted $145 for the repair, cleaning and scotch guard........before and after pics and wow!!!! We will be using them again in the future and hope David is once again our guy. read more

Update: Home Smart did indeed finally respond and schedule a rework. However the day and time arrived and no one showed up. Twenty minutes after the appointed time, I called the office and the woman who answered couldn't find my appointment on her schedule. She said she would check directly with the cleaning crew and call me back. She didn't. Thirty minutes later, however, someone arrived. He was very apologetic and said he was delayed by a previous project. I told him he should have called me. I'm pleased to say that the stubborn stains did not reappear after he retreated them. I also think the owner went above and beyond to try to offer an explanation as to why his office repeatedly did not contact me. For whatever reason, the experience was riddled with non-communication and I probably won't use them again. read more

I have been using this carpet cleaning for years. I called yesterday to set up a cleaning. A young man answer the phone. I explain to him that I didn't care for the last technicians that came out. And I wanted my original technician. He no longer works there which I totally understand. However when they last came out they left spots everywhere on my carpet. They've never clean with the type of cleaner that they use when they came out. So I asked for the type of cleaner that they've used every year before. He wanted to charge me $20 extra per each room. My room is pretty small to begin with they charge me extra just for coming to Manteca. Since covid I wouldn't recommend them. They charged me for a hallway last time I didn't want done at all. I am so done with this company. Replying back to your comment The first try and included my bedroom and my bathroom. It has nothing to do with the money that was not my problem. It was the attitude of the technician. The attitude of the people when I called. And the fact that I've been a customer for years and you couldn't take care of me. I will not be returning thank you read more

My floors and counters hadn't had a deep clean in about 5 years, so HomeSmart was the perfect choice to tackle all the different surfaces (quartz counters, slate tile, hardwood, and carpet). Spiro gave me an itemized quote to work with and I decided to go with the full list. The guys were on time on the scheduled day and the whole house was done in 5-6 hours. Spiro even stopped by toward the end to check on the progress. The quartz counters were spotless and shiny with new caulk in the seams. The slate tiles looked better than ever, and the hardwood floor also turned out amazing. I was content with the carpet cleaning too. Thanks for making my house beautiful again, guys! read more

I had my carpets cleaned and they needed it badly! I think I was procrastinating because I didn't want to think about it or go through the process of finding someone, prepping for the cleaning, putting everything back, etc. I'm so glad I checked Yelp one sleepless night & found this company. I picked them because of their rating & the customer reviews. Well, it was painless & my carpets look great! I felt the price wasn't bad & when the technician got here, Cody (sp?), he did an amazing job & took his time. He also helped put large furniture back where it was. I'm a very pleased customer & I look forward to using this company again in the Spring! read more

I had scheduled a carpet cleaning of my new home today and I was very pleased with their exceptional service. Scheduling an appointment was easy and great customer service. I found their prices very reasonable. Also the technician called and arrived as scheduled. We also had cleaning services scheduled at the same time, but home smart did their best to work around the other people and left my carpets like brand new and fast. I would highly recommend them for price, customer service, reliability, and promptness. read more

Had a large shag area rug cleaned by them. The response time was fast, the guys that picked up and dropped off the rug were professional and even wore booties when entering my house. Price was reasonable and rug was returned timely so fresh and so clean! Thanks so much!! read more

Worst carpet cleaner I ever had in 22 years of owning my home! Owner came out and didn't even fix the problem! The problem was his employee! Employee was ruid the chemicals smelled old and my house smelled worse than ever! I have dog but never had a carpet cleaner just poor a gallon bucket of water on the urine spots.....which this made it go all the way to the pad....Never use this company!!! Grant you did come out!!! You didn't fix the problem!!! No Refund, No return to clean carpet again!!! Carpet was never cleaned right in the first place!!! Your Employee was Rude and wanted to charge everything up to make him more money!!! I felt it was a money thing for your Employee since you have workers work for you and get paid by the job!!! read more

HomeSmart was so great! They reached out to me by phone and email. Got a call before they arrived and the technician was really nice. We walked the rooms and talked about my concerns. Cody did a great job! The rooms look and smell so much better. They also feel great even when wet, we cleaned them ourselves and they were left sticky and gross. Definitely recommend!! read more

Totally impressed with this company from the first phone call into their office to the completion of the job. I informed owner that we had 3 dogs and they had a pee party while we were on vacation and left the dogs with the kids (bad mistake). Estimate on the phone was pretty accurate to final pricing; not bad considering I just gave them number of rooms to be cleaned. Technicians who came out were very professional and listened to my concerns. They were very considerate of my walls and tile as they used protective padding on the tile to eliminate any accidental slipping and wall guards to keep their hoses away from my walls. Finished in about 3.5 hours and I was so excited about having clean carpets and not seeing any more stains. Hopefully my dogs will not have any more pee parties on my carpet. Happy Dance :-) read more

Just purchased a home and based on the Yelp reviews, decided to have HomeSmart come out to clean our carpets. Very, very glad that we made this decision! Customer service was A+ all the way around. First, I called them on a Thursday, looking to get a quote, but highly doubtful that they'd have an opening in 2 days, which is the day we needed the carpets cleaned (moving in on the following Monday). Whoever I spoke to on the phone was super friendly and very helpful in giving me an approximate idea of the cost. And then, much to my surprise, she told me that they could fit us in on Saturday morning and that they'd arrive between 8 and 8:30. At 7:55 on Saturday morning, David called to let me know he'd be at the house in about 15 minutes. He came in, took a look at the house, told me how much it would be (which was even a bit lower than I'd been quoted earlier). He put booties on as soon as he came in the house and protected the corners and stair bannister with some kind of padding so hoses wouldn't touch. Four hours later, he was done. The carpets look fantastic! David was wonderful to deal with! No need to look anywhere else to have your carpets cleaned! I can definitely see why they get 5 star ratings across the board. Well done, HomeSmart!! read more

Best carpet cleaning Ever! 13 year old house and we clean the carpets at least annually. We used these guys six months ago and still no returning spots. The spots ALWAYS return, but not after these guys. They even got blue nail polish off the white carpet in our daughter's room. So professional and careful. Seriously, we were planning to replace our thirteen year old carpets, but now they look new. Highly recommend HomeSmart. Reputable Modesto business. They will always have our business. read more

We went on Yelp to try and find a good carpet cleaner. We really have been disappointed with our carpet. We thought we had done our homework and selected the best possible carpet for the money we were willing to spend. We bought and had the carpet installed by a local reputable carpet dealer. We also asked the dealer for a recommendation on a carpet cleaner. They recommended the carpet cleaner they used for the carpet displays in there store. That sounded good to us and so that is who we initially selected for our carpet cleaning. The results were less than satisfying. After awhile we switched back to who we had used with our previous carpets. Although the results were a little better we were still not totally pleased. As time passed by we were becoming even more unhappy with our carpet and in desperation turned to Yelp for one last try to salvage what appeared to be a bad carpet buying decision. Based upon Yelp reviews we selected HomeSmart Cleaning to come and do our carpets. They gave us an estimate on the phone and we arranged the appointment time. David showed up well within the two hour window and surveyed the house and told me the actual cost we be slightly less based upon his in house inspection. That's a good start, but it would not mean much if the carpet cleaning was not up to par. Well it turns out that he did an outstanding job! The carpets were absolutely clean. He removed spots that the other cleaners we had tried were unable to clean. My wife was especially pleased with the job. David suggested the application of a carpet guard spray for the heavy traffic areas and we agreed to have this done. Even with the additional charge for the carpet guard the total bill was less than the original telephone estimate. David even provided me with some shoe coverlets so I could walk on the carpet before it completely dried. In summary, HomeSmart provided prompt, courteous, professional, excellent cleaning service and we will definitely be using them again and based upon our experience we can highly recommended them to others. read more

My husband and I decided to do a deep cleaning at our home. It included cleaning the carpet, tile in the kitchen and bathroom, hardwood floor in dining room, 2 couches, dryer vent, and cleaning the air ducts and venting system! We definitely wanted to have a professional company performing all these services with professional results. That's exactly what we received with Home Smart Cleaning Services. Grant came to my house to give a personalized quote. I asked all the questions I had and he answered them thoroughly. I compared them to Coit and they were practically the same. I decided to go with Grant since I felt it would be as professional of a job done as possible. I'm glad I did because David and Brandon performed all the services the day of and really impressed my husband and me. They were professional and respectful of our home. I watched them perform a lot of services out of curiosity and they never made me feel uncomfortable for asking questions about what they were doing. I was especially curious about the air duct cleaning since I never had this done before. Regardless, my home is extremely clean. We have 2 dogs and a cat with lots of carpet stains. They are all gone now. I'm hoping a majority of the stains will stay away but some of these stains existed before we bought our home. I'm definitely most happy with getting our dryer vent vacuumed/cleaned because it was extremely clogged with lint. There was so much crap inside there so I feel really grateful I asked for that to be clean. We've been having difficulty with our dryer drying our clothes. This should really allow the dryer to work more efficiently. :) I would highly recommend Grant's team for any professional home cleaning services! read more

I didn't get to use their services yet but we will. Grant was wonderful to come over, discuss options for us to consider with all of the existing tile work and it's issues, gave us solutions, a business card, and a smile, and said "call me when you're ready." Excellent service with a smile and a handshake - kind of rare in 2016 - but truly appreciated. read more

Excellent service. The lady on the phone was great. They were able to get me an appointment for the next day. They even were able to show up earlier than my scheduled appointment time. The two men that cleaned my carpets were courteous, efficient and did an excellent job. I would hire them again in the future. The price quoted on the phone was a bit lower than the actual price but they had to count the walk-in closet as an additional due to its size. Thank you Home Smart. read more

I have been doing business with this company since 2014. When I last had them out to clean my carpets they did not do such a great job. But after the owner heard that I was not happy he sent the technicians back out at no charge to me and made it right. That is good business. I will continue to use this company as my carpet cleaner read more

Needed carpets cleaned for upcoming sale of home and found HomeSmart through yelp reviews. The great reviews are here for a reason...these guys are great! The technicians who came out were very professional and protected the entry tile and wall corners. They did a thorough job of vacuuming and because we have two dogs I was hoping they'd get a few heavily laid on areas to look adequate. I would not have been surprised if they only looked a little better. To my amazement, the carpet looks like new again! They did a fantastic job! Highly recommend and will definitely give them business again. Thank you! read more

I highly recommend HomeSmart Cleaning for all carpet, upholstery and air duct cleaning. Hands Down!!!! As the owner of a small business I know how important yelp is to customers and appreciate them taking the time to leave their feedback of their experience. That being said I called to get a quote, Lupe answered the phone and was so welcoming, patient and helpful with my questions. After speaking with me I decided I was needing a janitorial service since my business is smaller and needing a person to come out every 2 weeks. She gave me some suggestions and I really appreciate her. Thank you, Ill defiantly be calling them in the furtue. read more

My couch and bedroom carpet were cleaned and it turned out beautiful! I asked a few questions and was delighted that the steam during the cleaning was released at a very high temperature to disinfect! I was there and saw the difference between the dirty couch and clean couch as he went section by section. We had an issue with an unstable resident bothering the technician, and he handled it with grace. Fast yet efficient. I would definitely use them again - worth the money! read more

Being in real estate I deal with a lot of different cleaning companies. Excellent service... Did a great job... And we are loyal customers So thank you for doing such a great job to our home

Just awesome!! Very friendly, professional staff! Did a wonderful job cleaning our vents, cleaning out our attic (we had some rodent issues!) The owner came by checking on our progress and to offer another product he was thinking of starting to offer. Extremely nice, and considerate. They wore shoe covers, and vacuumed throughout the whole house, even on a ledge! The air coming through actually smelled fresh and clean! We will be using them for some upholstery cleaning and definitely will have them back for yearly follow ups!!! Thank you! read more

Very professional, timely, and reasonable. They did a great job on cleaning our carpet. They did a pre scrub stain treatment beforehand for urine and coffee stains which removed most of the stains and definitely improved the look of our carpet, of course there was an extra charge for the treatment. They also offer other products and services for additional charges as well. When they were done the carpet was barely damp. I will use this company again. read more

I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Cody and Christian. My carpet looks and feels great. I had a large dark stain that is completely gone. I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use their services again. read more

I'm generally not the type to leave reviews. But I could not be happier with my experience with HomeSmart, so I felt as if I should share my experience. I called on a Friday to get an idea of cost and potentially schedule an appointment to have my sofa cleaned. I have three kids under the age of six, a cat, and a dog-all with a light gray couch. They all of have left, crumbs, spilled water, juices, milk, food, fur, you name it, on the couch, and personally I have spilled coffee on it. Most of the cushions are in good shape as the covers are removable and machine washable. But the especially large ottoman and frame of the couch had seen better days. I had it cleaned about a year and a half ago by another carpet cleaning company I found on Yelp so I figured it was time for another one. I was provided a straight forward estimate over the phone, and was told an appointment was available as soon as the following morning. I booked the appointment. The next morning I received a phone call from Cody, saying he would be over shortly to clean my couch. He was punctual, polite, honest, and most importantly, did an excellent job. The couch is cleaner than it was a year and a half ago, and it was done for less than half of the cost of the other company. If you're on the fence about choosing someone to clean your carpets or furniture, HomeSmart is the way to go. I will be scheduling another visit for them to clean the carpets throughout my home as well. read more

Should you get your air ducts cleaned? Yes! By HomeSmart? Absolutely!!! They were on time, very clean and did an excellent job. They even vacuumed the carpets when they were finished.
