Harry and his crew from San Leandro Painting and Roofing took our worn out home exterior and made…read moreit shine. The team put on our new roof and painted the trim. This was after I began talking to Harry about 3 months prior and seeking a home equity loan. He was patient and kept checking in with me as I worked through the financial piece. Once work started, they were tireless, some nights working until 9 PM. Every day, EVERY DAY, they picked up the entire yard at the end of the day, front and back, used the blower to make it look nice, and asked with his typical Harry smile, "Are you happy?" The answer was always yes. They were always very concerned about the safety of my wife and kids, halting work and clearing a walking path every time we left the house. The guys regularly used the hose to keep the shingles cool as they walked on them to make sure their shoes didn't scuff up/scar the roof in the summer heat. Tonight, Harry knocked on the door and invited us out to see the finished product. We were in awe. We now have one of the prettiest homes in the neighborhood and it was only a fraction of the money we thought we'd have to shell out. The crew always had a solution that would keep costs low but yield the best results. These guys are a one stop shop, bonded and insured, and skilled to the hilt. If you need something done, whether it's painting, roofing, or random tidbits of construction, they are eager to help. If you are thinking about calling this crew but hesitating for some reason, just call. In Harry's words, "Don't worry about it, we'll figure something out to make you happy." Rest assured, he'll do just that. Best of luck! Check out some of the pics I posted. They did phenomenal work!

Although everyone was very nice, my experience was not that pleasant. The movers were late. When…read morethey finally arrived I explained that I only had enough money for 2 hours of there service. I mainly only needed my bed, washer and dryer, couch and dressers moved. Instead of 2 hours it took them 3 hours and it's $100 an hour. I only moved different apartments in the same complex. While moving, the movers broke my son's dresser. My freakin dresser that was actually over $100 when purchased. I spoke with the owner on the phone and he would only take off $10 for the broken dresser. $10!!! And they just left the mess in my room and right outside of my front door instead of taking it to the dumpster like they said they would. Then I asked why I was being charged $350 for the move and he said I'm being charged for the truck fee which in the initial conversation he was going to wave the truck fee because I was only moving Apartments. Apparently not because he took the truck with him and had to rent a different truck for the movers which was never said to me. So not only was I $150 over budget, I also had a broken dresser. Did he not once think about that now I had to buy a new dresser for my son with what money?! My boyfriend initiated the appointment and he agreed that he was told the same thing that there would be no truck fee. We both assumed that the movers felt bad for breaking my dresser so they offered to put up our tv in the front room. Boy were we wrong to accept because not only did they put it on crooked they also put parts on backwards. As I generally and appreciate the effort for everything I will not use this company in the future and it was not worth the money. And yes I just paid because I was already annoyed and frustrated and wanted them out of my house and did not have the time to sit on the phone and argue since I had to be out of the old apartment at a certain time. And FYI for future services other than myself I would HIGHLY advise to have your movers show up looking professional! I don't want to see someone's underwear and ass hanging out of his pants and in desperate need of a shower too. And when we offer a drink, do not liter right outside my front door!
