I used this company a few years ago for a move and it went OK. The rate was good and they did a…read moredecent job although I asked their movers to mask because we are immune compromised and one of them removed her mask right in our faces while we were paying which I did not appreciate and was dangerous. This time the crew was 45 minutes late because they went to the wrong address during the first part of the move despite me being very clear, repeatedly, where to go. That was very inconvenient and my mom had to wait around in her car outside a storage unit while I kept having to message to ask what was going on and barely got a response. I received the final invoice and paid it immediately with a nice tip anyway. A couple days later I started getting a bunch of emails from the company saying that I hadn't paid. I sent them a screenshot of the $0 invoice balance and the transaction on my credit card. It had the name of the owner and a transaction ID and their ZIP Code. They continued to message me every few days saying we didn't get your payment, you must've sent it to the wrong place, they even sent me another invoice like they expected me to pay again. I kept telling them to check in on their side and that I didn't know what else to do. I provided ample screenshots showing that I paid and they kept blaming me and trying to bill me again. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company which was painful because I'm disabled and making phone calls hurts me. I didn't know what else to do because this is not a small bill and the company wouldn't stop bothering me. Finally they made a call themselves and immediately sorted it out which they could've done in the first place and then they apologized to me and said yes you did pay right away it was an error on our end. This was a complete waste of time and completely unprofessional. It's not appropriate to harass a customer who paid, who has clear evidence of paying, instead of just doing your due diligence and trying to resolve the issue without making me feel doubted and blamed for days. I can't recommend this company and I'm very angry about the way I was treated. Harassed for something that wasn't my fault at all and that they could've resolved with one quick phone call on their end instead of bothering me when I had just moved and they know I'm disabled. Rarely does a family business like Lew Rents continue to exist and thrive in today's age. The reason for their success, I believe, boils down to their customer service. Lew Rents originated as Olympia Hardware Co, downtown Olympia, before any of you who are reading this we're born. Haha, seriously though, Lew Rents is open every day (although I wish they were open until 6) and the employees go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Whether you are looking to rent something large or something small, they will most likely have what you need. If they don't, they will go out of their way to help you find it; never hesitating to call their 'competition' in order to source an item for a customer. That's impressive. Lew Rents has always been there for me when I need to buy a part, be it small or large. Many people don't realize it but Lew Rents sells a variety of new items in their showroom, not to mention seem to be able to special order everything and anything,relatively fast. Fast, friendly, propane fill in Lacey. I was in and out in mere minutes. I came in on a late…read moreweekday afternoon and popped in for a quick fill of my 5lb and 20lb propane tanks. Once I asked for a propane fill, I was directed to drop my tanks by the fill station just outside of the office to the left of the building. Once my tanks were filled up, I headed back in, paid for my propane and off I went. I appreciate the friendly and patient gentleman who helped me got me squared away with mindful intent. I noticed that there is clear abscence of propane refill reviews for this side of Lacey and I've always had great experiences with the Central Welding Supply in Seattle (4th Ave location) and figured I would drop by this location to see if I would get a similar customer experience. I was glad that I did. I am very well aware of the alternatives. I am not a fan of propane tank exchanges for numerous reasons at the big box store on the other side of the block. Nor am I a fan of going to the other locations where the employees give you the feeling that you're bothering them every time you ask for a propane fill.
