It was clear that there was significant tension among the staff members. No one appeared happy and the employees seemed to be on edge. This lack of harmony directly impacted the service. The stylist would disappear for long periods of time. She forgot what I was looking for and what she was getting for me. The lack of communication was so poor that a shirt I wanted to buy was actually given to another customer while I was still in the fitting room. The styling assistance was truly insulting. I told the stylist that I wear a size 26 or 27 in bottoms and a small in tops. I was specifically looking for professional work clothes. Instead, the stylist ignored my requests and brought me casual sweatshirts in sizes large and extra large. She repeatedly brought me pants and jeans in a size 30 and insisted that I was larger than I am. When I finally tried on a pair of size 26 Paige jeans that fit perfectly, she told me she was surprised that they actually fit. This experience felt like a form of body shaming and gaslighting. A customer should never be treated this way.

We ended up purchasing a long sleeve top for him and a tennis dress for his mother's birthday. Really stylish, just wish that they had more fun color options like their competitors do besides black and white! That's an issue to take up with corporate, though. Really, the workers were more than happy to look in the back for us to see if they had different sizes/colors of their product. Lots of great running and tennis clothing was being offered here.

I was searching on YouTube to find the most comfortable and flattering jeans available on the market and many influencers talking about Madewell. So I had to come out and try them out. Honestly, their jeans are amazing, in terms of both fit and comfort. These are some high-quality jeans. Got some pairs during their sale for great prices. They have jeans in multiple sizes, styles, colors, lengths, curvy/regular/plus. So I am sure that you will find something that will fit you. The shop's decor is minimalist. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only small thing I didn't like is that I wish I had got more help when I was trying out and needed help in finding the right fit given that there are so many options. The store is in the university village, so plenty of parking is available. Highly recommend this place!

Awful experience at the University District Free People today. My daughter and I grabbed a couple…read moretops and stood in what any normal person would assume was the fitting room line. We waited 20 minutes with one person in front of us and several people behind us as well, only to find out the store uses some bizarre "waitlist" system that no one explains and isn't posted anywhere. When the associate finally came over, she called out a random name from a rack of clothes and just stood there waiting for someone who clearly wasn't even in the store to show up to try on clothes. I asked if this was the fitting room line, and she responded with a rude, condescending tone like we were idiots for not magically knowing their hidden process. Everyone around us looked just as confused. Instead of helping customers who were actually present in line, the 2 staff wandered around searching for a nonexistent person while the rest of us wasted our time. Completely disorganized, zero communication, and the attitude from the associate was the final straw. We dropped our items and walked out. This store needs a serious reset in customer service and basic common sense. Honestly, no wonder people just order online or these stores go out of business. We dropped our items and left.

I visited Bloomie's the first weekend it opened and the place was packed! Located in U-Village by Athleta and Shake Shack, it's easy to find with parking in the lot and in the garages. For opening weekend, there were plenty of staff on the floor, helping customers, as well as a greeter. There was even a dog event happening here when I visited as the store is dog-friendly. They were offering dog photos and bandanas for the fur babies, as well as treats. Gotta love that! This store is small, especially when compared to an actual Bloomingdale's since it's on a smaller scale. I've been to Bloomie's on the east coast and this location doesn't have as great of a selection as the east coast ones and is smaller too. However, it has some beloved brands, with women's apparel on the main floor and some men's and accessories on the second floor. They don't have everything or much, but the customer service is superb. Glad to have a Bloomie's in the area and would come back to see what trendy items are offered while shopping at U-Village.

This location consistently has a much larger in store selection, while other stores often feel limited in what is available to purchase the same day. I can usually find a wider range of styles, sizes, and pieces here, which makes shopping so much easier. The staff at this location is also noticeably better and friendlier. They are welcoming, helpful, and make the experience feel relaxed rather than rushed. The surrounding stores at University Village also add to the overall shopping experience, making it a great place to spend an afternoon. If you are choosing between Reformation locations, this one is absolutely worth the visit.

There is the elevator for continence since we tend to have a stroller with us. If not, there is the escalator. Everything is located on the top floor. The woman's section takes up half the store. Then you have the children's and the men's department is tiny. There are two dressing rooms available and a bathroom. The dressing rooms tend to be a little cluttered. I was disappointed the bigger handicap room was used as stock, so I had to try on clothes with the door open so I can keep an eye on my toddler in the stroller. The sale section is always stocked up and organized. Service is okay, I found myself standing next to two associates just talking waiting to get their attention, didn't so I went to find someone else.
