I'm rewriting this review after different experiences I've encountered over the past few years. I only come here sporadically due to how close it is to where I live. Gel pedicures were a hit or miss. I, however, will no longer be coming back here after yesterday's experience with a gel-x removal. I am fully aware my gel was very thick and needed more time to be removed but the "technician " filed down my nails SO much that my hyponychium (skin extending from finger under nail bed) was exposed. It's super sensitive and painful and the nails weren't even on top of that. As a nail salon, you should know the limit in which a person's nails should be filed down to. I decided not to say anything on the spot since I knew I would never be coming back but also because she did spend a lot of time removing the nails and I did not want any problems/confrontation.

Stopped by this Arcadia Nail Bar because my nails were getting a bit long and I wanted to change them. I picked an emerald green color because I usually don't wear that color and wanted to try something new. Overall my nail technician was pretty good. I did a gel manicure and they came out great. She also did some gold accents on both of my ring fingers to bring out the pretty color. Overall I am super satisfied with the whole process and it didn't take long at all. Also when they removed my previous gel nails they took their time to get them off gently and clean. I will for sure be back.

It's really hard to find a nail salon that checks off every box for me, but I think Arcadia Nail Bar is a solid nail salon that comes pretty close! Came here with a friend and we both got mani/pedis. I got acrylic nails and a regular pedi. Amy did a nice job on my acrylic nails - I showed her the design I wanted on Pinterest and she came pretty close in replicating it! The tiny flower designs are quite intricate to dot on so if you look closely, it's not super clean, but overall, I like it. She nicked a small part of my skin by my ring finger nail, but honestly, it wasn't painful, just stings a little the day after. Yin did my pedicure and she did a great job -- I was very relaxed and my toe nails turned out nice and polished. She gave a great foot massage too. The salon itself is very clean and spacious. And the pricing is reasonable. $60 for full acrylic set with design, $40 for a pedicure with callus removal. I don't live in the area but if I was in the neighborhood again, I would go back!

We had the best time here getting ready for my cousin's wedding! The bride had very specific ideas in what she wanted in her nails and Danny was able to get them exactly how she wanted! Five of us got our nails done altogether, and everyone loved the results. All of the ladies that did our nails were so nice, so accommodating and did our nails exactly how we wanted! We were so blown away at our experience, we will definitely be going here from now on! The owner Quynh is such a kind and professional woman that we highly recommend Arcadia Nail Bar!

I went here 2 weeks ago. I waited to post a review because I really wanted to see how the nails held up. I actually called ahead to make an appt for my mom and I asked for a full set and pedicure for myself and a pedicure for my mom. When we walked in we weren't greeted. I had to walk and say why I was there. When I told them it was for an appointment they said they didn't have anything written down. We were told to sit and wait, which we did only have to wait about 15 minutes but we did have an appointment. To make things worse someone else walked in who had an appointment but they took her right away. They didn't have time or enough people to do my pedicure. Which in hindsight was a good thing. This picture is from the night I got my nails done. They were supposed to be a coffin shape. The shape was totally off, the acrylic was uneven, and the gel was terrible. About 1 week in 2 of my nails totally lifted and fell off. Now 2 weeks all nails have lifted. My mom got a gel pedicure, she went with their basic pedicure with gel and a callus removal. The gel began peeling of a few days later. Which is crazy for a person who is in sandals 95% of the time. The fact that my nails were $70 and my mom's pedicure was $65 was beyond outrageous for the service and the end result we received.

Came here with my family to get my nails done for my wedding! They were more than willing to accommodate a party of 6 to get manis and pedis! The entire staff was very accommodating and patient with us! Danny did my manicure! He did an amazing job and took so much time making sure the details were perfect! My wedding nails came out so perfect! If you've been thinking of trying them out, you need to!!!

Arcadia nail bar is my new favorite place to come . I have had a great overall experience getting my nails done . The staff is always friendly and welcoming . I really enjoyed getting my gel full set with design for such a reasonable price as well. Will be coming back every two weeks !

I happened to stumble upon this gem by taking a chance and giving them a call. I know a lot of nail salons are appointment only right now but I needed a last minute walk-in for a special occasion. I called and after a couple rings a guy picked up. I asked if they were taking walk-ins and he asked what service I needed. I told him I needed a pedicure and he said I could come right now if I wanted. I raced over there and the store looked closed. I thought I had gotten the wrong address but not long after someone came to unlock the door to me. They asked I had just called and I said, "Yep! That was me!" They welcomed me, offered hand sanitizer and led me to the to the nail area. This place is gorgeous! Their setup is great and shows off how spacious it is. They have luxurious massage chairs for pedicures and a beautiful chandelier. Just overall beautiful, elegant decor. I met Amy who did an amazing job with my pedicure. I've been so traumatized by nail techs who have cut and nicked me pretty bad so I asked Amy to be gentle with me. She understood and was so thorough and even told me if anything hurt or was uncomfortable to let her know. It's been some time since ya girl has gotten a pedi and I was lookin rough. But she was so sweet and patient. She's definitely got a new regular because I'm definitely coming back. There is ample parking in front of and around the building. I'm gonna assume that they're usually appointment only but give them a call, you might get lucky! I'm honestly so glad I did! I got a gel pedicure which came with the cleanup, callous remover, and all that good stuff. It came out to $40 which is well worth it for the service I had received. For those concerned about cleanliness and COVID awareness I think they're doing a wonderful job. Again, it seemed like they were appointment only so no one was in there besides the guy in the front, the nail tech and my daughter and I. Everything was sprayed and sterilized. read more

I came here to get a full set of acrylics done. It was my first time here. Price was pretty reasonable for it. (I paid 35$ for a whole set with regular polish) however i did notice that some of my nails were uneven, and the polish had this weird texture to it once it was dried. It was chunky and im not sure why. Even with the top coat, the color looks dull My nail on my index finger is straight compared to the other nails that have a slight curve. Update! My thumb nail broke off after 2-3 after getting the set done. I went back in, they fixed it. And once they saw my review they messeged me saying that they didnt see an updated review after it being fixed. Well here it is. Mythumb nail was repaired but the acrylic on my index finger chipped right in the middle of my nail and everytime i am going to grab something it bends my nail and causes me pain. Again most likely cus of how liquidy hannah made the powder when putting it on my nails. On top of that they are blaming me for the chips of the nail polish and how i am not careful or i didnt get gel! Not true! I always get sets done elsewhere and they last me a month with no breakage or chips with regular polish. That is super rude. Now i have to go elsewhere and pay more money for this to be fixed. It has just been barely a week with these nails. Problematic! Never coming back here. Find somewhere better! Update 12/28/2019. Another nail broke yet again! Im now updating : I walk in at 930 am and no one is there waiting to be seen one lady is there and she sits me down right away I start the massage chair and dip my feet on hot water, but 3 mins later a lady walks in with an appt. the lady working knew she had an appt but still sat me down anyways... that's my pet peeve. Don't sit me down and then you can't see me. I hate being left in the hot water waiting while my toes get soggy and old .. She then tells me she will call someone, I ask how long and she says again she will call someone, not giving me a time frame . She calls one person and I can hear it goes straight to voicemail. She calls another lady and they tell her 20 mins... that doesn't work for me since I have to go to work .. I guess if this place had 2 people working at the same time it would be a lot helpful not to turn away a costumer. Old review : I'm so thankful for this place, I called and made a same day appt and they were able to get me in at their last hr of their day. I got gel manicure and regular pedicure They helped me pick my colors and I showed them a picture of Pinterest l, so ya they have good color matches The ladies were very friendly and gentle A gentleman help do the designs I wanted he was very nice and detailed First time here and it won't be my last Thank you ! read more

I had the BEST experience at this nail salon! I strolled in before noon without an appointment but was greeted and serviced right away by Terry. She handled my pedicure perfectly and in a timely fashion. The nail salon is clean, well-staffed, and spacious. I do not live in the area but this place is worth the drive! I came in for a manicure and chose a beautiful red color for Christmas. They have plenty of nail polishes to choose from including OPI, Morgan Taylor, and more. The nail technician was precise and detailed when working on ny nails. The nail bar is spacious and modern. I am very pleased with my manicure thank you! read more

I went there a week before my birthday to get my nails done they were very welcoming very nice and clean and extremely friendly they did a beautiful job on my nails the only bad thing I will say is a week after my birthday three of my nails came off I did the gel X extension so basically they lasted for a week and a half and that's why they got three stars I her the gel x extension last for about 3 to 4 weeks read more

This place is great! They're open Mondays too. And a lot of salons are normally closed on Mondays. That's my day off so that's when I come in. It's appointment only, I make them online. I don't like talking on the phone lol. Amy is so good at what she does. She speaks good English too. My nails are perfectly filed and my gel mani looks bomb. They also have an insane amount of colors to pick from. Its also decently priced. I also noticed that the tools they use are sterilized. Or at least they make it seem like they are lol. It gives me peace of mind. They also have comfy chairs so you boyfriend can wait for you to get your nails done so he can pay after. :) read more

This place is receiving two stars instead of one only because my mom's nails were decently done. If I cared what my nails looked like on my wedding day, I could easily say this place ruined the day. Luckily I didn't really care so it only added a little bit of stress to the day. Let's start from the beginning of the experience: I made an appointment for Thursday at 1:30pm. At 1pm they called me to ask if I was still going to be coming (they had written down my appointment time wrong). When me, one of my bridesmaids, and my mom got there, they didn't have enough people to do our nails. Why make an appointment if you aren't going to be correctly staffed? I waited an hour for my nail artist to get there. I got a manicure (gel, French tip) and a pedicure (normal nail polish)...I was in the salon for 3 hours! The manicure looked beautiful when I left the salon. I was really happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately by 8pm that night one of my nails had already chipped (see photo). The next day (day of the rehearsal wedding), I rushed to get that one nail fixed at another salon near where my wedding venue was. Luckily I had time between picking up part of my bridal party at the airport, getting the marriage license, and the rehearsal. So I thought the problem was solved. A little annoying but no big deal. At the rehearsal dinner I noticed another one of my nails had peeling nail polish. I was a little bit panicked but my bridesmaids were awesome and found another salon nearby that was open until 9pm. After dinner, we rushed to that salon and they fixed the peeling nail polish and ended up redoing another nail that looked iffy. Being dumb, I thought that was the end of the issue...I should have just gotten all my nails redone there. The morning of my wedding, I woke up to find that yet another nail lost its nail polish. Too late to go to yet another salon, I had one of my bridesmaids do a make-shift French manicure on that one nail with white out. . By Wednesday the next week, all 10 nails that had originally been done had the nail polish completely peeled off. The shortest nail polish lasting only a few hours and the longest nail polish lasting a whole 6 days. The three nails that I got re-done at the other two salons still look great. If you would like your manicure to last for more than a few hours and/or if you have a big event coming up where you'd like to not have white-out on your fingers, avoid coming here! read more

Drove from Baldwin Park because they had such good reviews and I was not disappointed!! Amy and Nick took care of me today and did a perfect job! I got French tip toes from Any and she did it just the way I like it not too thick not too thin. Nick did a gel manicure on me and also did better than I've had anywhere else. I usually dont like to get the square shape on my nails but the effort he put in and the outcome was too good to make him round them off. I actually love the way it looks! I decided to try this place out being so close to where I live. So happy I did! I made an appointment with Mike as I read many reviews saying how good he was. People were not lying. He is very gentle and makes sure you like what you see. I had the Dip powder treatment. It was my first time trying it. I would definitely recommend! I was looking for something to put over my natural nails that would still look natural. Mike shaped and made them just like I wanted even saving one of my nails that broke half way. Danny and (I believe) his wife were incredible! I told them I was getting my nails done for a grad school interview and he spent so much time creating the perfect shape & applying the gel. He also picked out my polish based off what he sees is the most popular in the realm I was looking for. They stayed an hour late perfecting my nails, all the while happily maintaining conversation and professionalism. This salon is undergoing a renovation, but it's still very clean, cute, and well taken care. I am from out of state, but I loved them so much I asked them to open a nail bar in Utah. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

Wasn't very happy with the service. I called around 10:30am to make an appointment and they booked me for 3:30. I got to my appointment on time and they didn't take me in till 4:20. Started doing gel x on my nails and it was burning my nails and they had bubbles so the lady kept putting them on and off to fix them. Then finally I told her it was fine just do a regular powder full set like I originally wanted and it took so long that I didn't get the design I wanted since they didn't have time. I didn't get out till 6:30. No I didn't tip. read more

I came here on a Friday at 6pm full on expecting them to reject me like 4 had done before but no not only did they take me they treated me so well and were extremely kind. My nail tech put so much attention to detail and made sure everything came out perfect and symmetrical even after everyone had left the building. Also to the woman that did my pedicure thank you so much for putting up with my indecisiveness and being kind to me. I went to Cancun literally hours after walking out of here and my nails survived beaches swimming holes and extreme heat. No chips no cracks they are perfect. I will absolutely be back. read more

Got a full set with gel and it turned out amazing! The nail tech really took their time and made sure everything was perfect. Price was 50$ and even though it's a little pricey for me you definitely get what you pay for. Definitely check this place out. read more

This review is long overdue, but I got my nails done by Mike back in June, and he's so great! I got Gel-X extensions for the first time. He was very meticulous with his work, and was constantly making sure I was happy and satisfied with the way my nails were coming out during the process. He's also very nice! I absolutely loved my nails. I'll definitely be coming back to him again! The only reason I took a star off is because of a DIFFERENT time I had come (unrelated to Mike) - I tried to do a walk-in, and was not approached by any staff for 10 mins even though they all saw me. From other reviews, this seems to be a common issue. Poor customer service in that way. :/ read more

I chose to go for a simple pale pink look and they even helped me fix an acrylic that had chipped off earlier in the week. It's been a long time since my mom and I went to get massages, and we passed by this place and decided to try. Cynthia did a great job, I felt relaxed during and after the massage session.
