Such an awesome coffee spot! Good coffee without having that elitist attitude, IYKYK. Met up with friends to catch up, and this was the perfect place to do so. Tons of seating all around (inside the tasting room and outside patios), great vibes from the staff and the other customers, and an awesome food and drink menu. I can't honestly tell you what I ordered, I talked to the barista and asked what his preferred drink was, and told him to make me that. All I knew was that there was espresso, oat milk, and old fashion bitters included. The bitters brightened the espresso, which balanced with the oat milk. Not sure what else was in there, but cannot complain since the drink was good. Highly recommend checking this spot out! And if you're feeling bold, I'd suggest giving the baristas a chance to be creative since they are very knowledgeable. read more

They had a unique selection of holiday drinks with fun names but the coffee all tasted pretty much the same, not necessarily like the flavor advertised. The food was pretty small portions and expensive. As a place for studying, it had good music with good sized tables, but it was lopsided and was kind of annoying because the whole thing would move if u leaned on it. Asked for a caramel macchiato, wasn't expecting them to make it like how Starbucks does it but if I paid for a 7$+ drink I would expect it to be strong and have at least 3 shots with it. Barista said she only gave 2 shots and was too creamy. The atmosphere was okay, instead of smelling like coffee inside it ended up smelling like some kind of pizzeria with all the food they were making. The smell ended up sticking to my clothes. Freaking delicious fam, along with the draft latte they have. Service on all locations is beyond amazing. I wish I got this service more often in LA. Baristas are beyond friendly and are very engaging with you. I will forever tip 25% here fam, don't be cheap support your local baristas. It is a nice compliment to your lunch (if you bring one) or any breakfast item that you get! The vegan crunchwrap was extremely filling and very flavorful. Arcade is undoubtedly my favorite coffee shop in the IE. I have driven an hour + in the past for it and will unashamedly drive again for it. In fact, any time I pass by it's a must stop. My friend bought me a bag of their beans for a gift one year and they were the best! I had the holiday spiced cold brew and the draft oat milk latte which were both AMAZING! The draft latte is seriously unreal and creamy and delicious! My spiced cold brew was sweetened to perfection (I'm not a big sweet drink person) and tasted like a cup of Christmas. Ugh, my FAV COFFEE SHOP IN THE IE!! My boyfriend and I come here weekly and the drinks are always sooo good. Every single crew member is so kind and welcoming. It is an amazing study or hangout spot. Parking is limited and primarily on the street, but worth it all. They have multiple locations but this is the OG, best one! Highly recommend the draft latte or any seasonal drink. A lot of my friends really love Arcade. I have gone several times now and I just don't think it's for me! I love any coffee shop that makes their own syrups, but I think it may be their espresso I am not a fan of. The last two times I have went recently, both drinks I got were on the sour side. I am not too sure if they weren't dialed in or if that's just the taste. I got the Fall drink off their seasonal menu this last Wednesday & unfortunately I couldn't drink it. So I'm trying to find the best breakfast burrito and best coffee in Riverside. First place was Arcade Coffee. I got a draft latte which was actually really good, 8/10 and I got there Brekky burrito, which was eggs, espresso rubbed tri tip and cheese. Mmm I really wanted to like it but the tri tip was un flavorful for me and a bit too tough. I think some skirt cut steak would be amazing in it instead. The eggs were really soft and the sauce they used in it was really good too. But for 11.50 that protein better be good lol the service is really great, they're really nice and acknowledge you as you come in and as you leave. Super clean inside and the music they play is very relaxing and just mellow. I paid 23 for my draft latte and burrito which I think i think is a bit steep but it's a small business so I understand. I might come back for their coffee and maybe try one of their pastries. read more

I came in to find a coffee shop to study and enjoy some drinks. I ordered the matcha latte, um pass please. It was just milk with a bit of matcha and cane sugar. We also ordered the breakfast burrito which i will say was very good. Overall this is a good place to study. Over the weekend it gets really busy. Came to Arcade on Thanksgiving, was one of the few coffee shops open. I was impressed by their layout inside. Looked very nice and chill to sit down and catch up or even pop open your laptop. Now their menu had a variety of syrups for their lattes. I got an Iced Butterscotch Latte / Breve, and also ordered an Iced Dirty Chai. I felt that both drinks were ok, I don't think the price was honestly justified. As a party we order about 5 drinks (16 oz) and it came out to $41. Give or take about $8 each. I couldn't taste much of their espresso in my latte, tasted mostly like syrup and milk. I now know that I am a fan of Spiced Vanilla Chai. Their Chai does taste like Chai, but not the kind of spice/sweet that I was looking for. Arcade was a miss for me unfortunately. read more

Amazing coffee shop in the Riverside area! I love looking for new cafés and finding the best coffee shop for studying and hanging out. I think I found THE one! When my friend told me about this place, I had to check it out. They have pretty short hours but it encourages you to come in early and get work done! They close at 2PM which is pretty early but I love coming in early anyways for some coffee and their amazing pastries. The inside of the café is so aesthetically pleasing. There are so much seating that range from sofas, benches and several community tables. I love sitting on the main community table to the left of the shop because it has a foot rest. There are also a lot of plugs and USB cables along the walls and on the tables for you to charge your computer and phone. It's perfect for studying and getting your work done! It can get pretty packed and noisy when there's a rush so bring in earphones if you can't work in loud environments. The servers and workers are so nice and very welcoming. I notice that they recognize a lot of their regulars. They are always so friendly and they even let my friend borrow a MacBook charger because he ran out of battery! I was surprised that this place had a "no tipping policy" to ensure that there was no awkwardness with the server and the customer. They simply encourage you to keep coming in for their coffee! Amazing! To top it all off, their drinks and pastries are so good. My friend, a coffee enthusiast, is obsessed with their Ameri-cola which is a shot of americano and Coca-cola. I'm still bemoaning the demise of our favorite local coffee shops formerly known as Augie's. They closed suddenly, apparently a borderline illegal move by the owners during Covid-19, for employees attempting to unionize. With this sudden vacuum downtown it made us look again for something comparable, with high quality coffee, and privately owned. With Lift greatly retracted and slightly off the beaten path we decided to give Arcade a try. Little nibbles I suppose you could say- our first attempt failed since they close earlier than anticipated. The second yielded good results with the almost industry standard medium roasted coffee, but I forget which varietals. A side note here, they roast on premises and the equipment is in plain sight as are the big bags of raw beans. Recently, however, we began to go more frequently, and on one such trip we commented that the vibe wasn't quite to our liking, just the atmosphere, nothing wrong with any of the employees. Maybe it was the music selection that day? It's only after having lattes a few times, hot tea, more coffee, and finally trying the Brunch Menu offered on weekends, that I feel Arcade warrants a VERY SOLID 4-stars. Some inconsistent flavors have popped up (vanilla ginger especially) but I thoroughly enjoy the seasonal Bourbon-Vanilla with its carmelized sugar cap and roasted marshmallow. Very impressive! My cat even took a liking to the crust on the edge of the cup. We concluded that the Beef Brisket Breakfast Burrito (they should call it B4, raised fourth power), I think it's one of the best I've had in Riverside. Full flavors, stuffed with goodness, and especially appreciated, not greasy. The added dimension of Tapatio hotsauce was the crowning touch. I'm looking forward to next weekend already and maybe try the Grits too! read more

I love the Arcade tasting room! They have a great selection of food and drinks just like the other Arcade locations. I enjoy the kombucha! and my friends got a few of the breakfast items. They were so good. The employees were super nice and one of them assisted a customer with sign language. Parking is limited and you might have to park down the street from the location. It's on a busy street. But we enjoyed the outdoor seating!! read more

Been here a few times for brunch and the food is good. It's a bit more expensive to other options in the area, but they do serve some dishes that other places don't have on their menu. Service was great. The waitstaff is very attentive. We've ordered the cornbread crab benedict, steak and eggs, and the shrimp and grits. Their steak and eggs were really good too. The cornbread crab benedict is OK. It looks like they ground the crab, so you really can't see it (or taste) much of it. My favorite dish is their shrimp and grits. Probably one of the best I've ever had. I would recommend this dish to everyone. The only con is their coffee. If you're looking for strong drip coffee, this is not the place. At least to me, it tasted like watered down tea. read more

Recently tried this coffee shop two weeks in a row. The first time the barista was super nice and they start making your drink as you start ordering and charge you once they finish your drink. I had the orange honey blossom and it was pretty tasty, you can actually taste the coffee. The second time the barista felt like he was rushing us a bit and not so friendly. I had the orange blossom honey again and my friend had the sticky rice mango flavor. I tried it and didn't really taste the flavor, maybe it didn't mix well with coffee, just my opinion. I believe I overheard the barista said they used 'Ethiopia' coffee to make their lattes. They have people studying and there's plenty of room inside to sit and some benches outside. I think I would go back as their coffee is really good. I would probably go check out their other locations. read more

The breakfast burrito used to have chopped/shredded tender brisket, heavenly cheese mixture (made in house I believe). The burrito toasted, was a wonderful mix of cheesiness and protein. Todays burrito: thick, hard brisket, a smudge of the cheese and absolutely zero flavor! The size of the burrito compares to those in the past was small.
