I've driven by this location and I had no idea it was an Arcade! It looks unsuspecting on the outside, with the gray and the aideo town sign. Parking can be a bit tricky. Theres a couple spots in the front and to the side is a small parking lot. There is also street parking. There's two benches outside and inside, it's bright with the white walls and wood. It's a contemporary space, light, airy, and to the side, is the roaster. Up front, the counter and various menus. There's a seasonal, food, and regular menu. There were several people inside but plenty of space to sit. I ordered a small banana bread matcha. The barista was making my drink as I was paying. He was polite. It was $8 with some change. My drink tasted exactly like banana! It was good. There a cool vibe to this place. I would definitely come back and try a food item too.
Holy roasters this place is good! Parking is rough but good amount of seating inside. The location is hidden in the industrial area behind North high and near UCR off university and Iowa. The banana bread matcha was really good. But the avocado toast was the highlight for me. Drink service was fast but the wait for food will be 20+ min just keep that in mind! Staff were friendly. I had been searching for this location and stumbled up on it. Highly recommend.
The strawberry cardamom is my favorite sweet from here :) I love the matcha, it's very flavored without losing the matcha flavor, people are very nice when you walk in, I like coming here and enjoying my matcha in the sofa, is so comfortable, I've tried the salmon bagel is very good. Arcade Coffee Roasters is a place for coffee enthusiasts and non-coffee enthusiasts alike--they have options for all ages and tastes. This is a very unique shop. I must say I was hesitant to go here for a few reasons (none of them great, to be honest). First, the name--I didn't get the connection between "arcade" and "coffee" (then again what does that matter). Second, the location: it's in an odd building that doesn't scream typical coffee shop, with restricted and unusual parking. After overcoming these nonsensical, self-created mental barriers, we walked inside and saw that this is a sophisticated operation with wonderful products, employees, and a truly unique experience. When we entered, we saw a very nice menu with pictures showcasing the drinks and highlighting what makes each one special. The barista was super casual and friendly. She asked over the counter if we had any questions and told us to let her know when we were ready. Her welcoming approach was perfect for first-time visitors. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice matcha and the Cherry Glaze matcha. Both were delicious, and it was clear that quality is a major focus here. The matchas weren't overloaded with syrup like some places; instead, they tasted naturally infused--subtle, balanced, and perfect. For snacks, we tried the salmon bagel and the blueberry scone. Both were excellent. The bagel was fresh and packed with flavor, again showcasing quality ingredients. The scone was one of the best I've had from a coffee shop--it tasted like it came straight from a bakery. The blueberries were large and bursting with flavor, and the texture was ideal: not too hard, not too soft. It was just right. (They should name it "Goldilocks"!) In addition to coffee, matcha, and chai tea, they also offer craft sodas and other choices for any mood. We decided to enjoy our drinks and snacks inside. As we sat, we noticed they have their own bean-roasting machine (totally unique!). I've never seen one in person, but for coffee lovers who enjoy fresh roasts, this means they bring in green coffee beans, roast them on-site, and produce the freshest, highest-quality product possible. (You could say "they have the beans" -- a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference for fans of the show.) Aside from having "the beans," they also had a projector showing the World Cup. There are plenty of seating options: tables with chairs, standing desks, sofas, and benches. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven on Earth.
This might be the best latte I've ever had in the IE. I really enjoyed the low-key ambiance this coffee shop offers. I came here and we ordered 3 large draft lattes to-go on a weekday afternoon. The cashier was great and let us know they come with oat milk automatically included with the price. The coffees came out extremely fast. I absolutely loved my latte. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular here. My only gripe is the limited parking but it's definitely worth the walk.
stopped by this cutesy, casual cafe for a brunch with friends and it's located in a plaza that's predominantly next to corporate buildings and the only available parking seemed like it was either street meter parking or the parking structure. seats and tables are very limited here and may be hard to find availability as people do study and work inside here. as for the food and drinks, i ordered their raspberry matcha with oat milk which really tasted like the fruit loop cereal. i do wish it was a little bit creamier but the flavor was yummy, not so much matcha flavor though. i also tried the huevos rancheros and i'd give it a 7/10. portion was good for its price, but flavors were pretty one note; slightly spiced eggs and beans.
drink: When I am on the road I am always looking for coffee roasters. This just makes there vanilla latte with oat milk to perfection. service: order at the counter and they will call your name when its ready. I dont bother looking anything else because I had to hit the road quick. ambiance: this place is clean, nice spot to study, catch up or hang outside and relax. no need to explain much, this review is just for me. I just found this is a chain! Sweet, ill be looking for more places along my exploration of cali.

My first time at Arcade was great! I stopped by for coffee after many recommendations and was surprised with the breakfast selection. The food was delish and I love that they serve their coffee in glass when you're dining in! Such a cute place, love the decor and the overall vibe. Service was great. Everyone was so polite and made great recommendations! I'll be back for sure!
I had the steak sandwich and it was pretty good. The bread was nice and fresh, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the sauce brought everything together very well. Our party got 3 different food items and everyone enjoyed their food, so that tells a lot. The pastry also looked pretty good. The wait time though was pretty horrible - I think I waited around 30-40 minutes for my sandwich! I just hope that is not their normal flow.
As cool as the band Arcade Fire and the eye pleasing Indie vibes to go with it. This shop definitely rocks when it comes to the coffee and they have dine in service to go with it. I ordered an espresso shot to start with so I could taste what I was getting myself into. After having it, I was ready to go! My second drink was their Gibraltar which was a Cortado and I already knew it was going to be good. My last drink was a basic Honey Cinnamon Latte which was well balanced. All the drinks delivered what I wanted and I was definitely satisfied. The space is really big with plenty of seating and it has the look that says we're here to preserve coffee culture. Now it may not be cute but if you want good coffee then here you go! I was also vibing to the playlist that consisted of head bobbing deep house. Overall it was a positive experience and the baristas are super chill. That's my take, Peace.
I got espresso. I tried the single origin and the house blend. The single origins had good crema, medium body, with notes of chocolate and fruit/citrus. It wasn't bitter or burnt. Solid execution 4/5. Probably more flavor clarity would have made it perfect. The house blend was also good. Not bitter or burnt, good crema and slightly more creamy texture than the single origin. I tasted more acidity in this shot but it wasn't overpowering 3.5/5. A solid choice if you like espresso.
Came by to re-try Arcade Coffee after receiving a request to try them again. The day I came by we came right before the rush and I ordered the Matcha Latte and sad to say the matcha was not prominent in the drink. Yes the drink was green but all I tasted was the milk. I tried to ask for suggestions with flavors but the guy helping might have gotten overwhelmed with the line that just appeared behind me. Someone had to come and assist and provided my coworker with a suggestion. Sorry, I tried to come back. I still like the vibe in the shop and would be a great place to come with friends and study. read more

10/10 This Place is so beautiful. I ordered the Matcha latte so fire & my man ordered an iced latte so good. You can literally taste the difference between Arcade Coffee Roasters and Starbucks coffee. I would 1000000x pick here instead of Starbucks. Once you step inside omg the smell of coffee hits you and it smells so bomb! I came here pregnant a year ago & now I'm back with my family. Try the BREKKIE BURRITO. They only serve these on weekends, but it's probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had! The matcha latte that I got was also perfectly sweetened and mixed well with oat milk. The vibes in this place gave warehouse, but also like in the best way possible. It makes sense though because cafes nowadays, especially in LA, seem to be heading towards that aesthetic. Overall, I would recommend! I also love how the baristas were calling out names, walking around with your food, and delivering your food with a smile. It felt like a restaurant, but in a cafe setting. read more

Such an awesome coffee spot! Good coffee without having that elitist attitude, IYKYK. Met up with friends to catch up, and this was the perfect place to do so. Tons of seating all around (inside the tasting room and outside patios), great vibes from the staff and the other customers, and an awesome food and drink menu. I can't honestly tell you what I ordered, I talked to the barista and asked what his preferred drink was, and told him to make me that. All I knew was that there was espresso, oat milk, and old fashion bitters included. The bitters brightened the espresso, which balanced with the oat milk. Not sure what else was in there, but cannot complain since the drink was good. Highly recommend checking this spot out! And if you're feeling bold, I'd suggest giving the baristas a chance to be creative since they are very knowledgeable. read more

I absolutely love Arcade. There are a lot of tables for people to come by and take a quick lunch break from school or work and have amazing pastries and matcha lattes. I like to get my matcha lattes with oatmilk (they use Minor Figures Oatmilk) and the baristas always mix up the powder so well! Their best items are their jalapeno cheddar scones. It is a nice compliment to your lunch (if you bring one) or any breakfast item that you get! The vegan crunchwrap was extremely filling and very flavorful. The trip tip burrito was pretty good as well, but not as flavorful as the crunchwrap. read more

Arcade is undoubtedly my favorite coffee shop in the IE. I have driven an hour + in the past for it and will unashamedly drive again for it. In fact, any time I pass by it's a must stop. My friend bought me a bag of their beans for a gift one year and they were the best! I had the holiday spiced cold brew and the draft oat milk latte which were both AMAZING! The draft latte is seriously unreal and creamy and delicious! My spiced cold brew was sweetened to perfection (I'm not a big sweet drink person) and tasted like a cup of Christmas. I need to visit the new bake house location asap :) read more
I haven't been to arcade in forever, but I'm glad I've been coming more frequently! Food and coffee is beyond great here. I got the breakfast burrito and my sister and I shared the waffle. Freaking delicious fam, along with the draft latte they have. Service on all locations is beyond amazing. I wish I got this service more often in LA. Baristas are beyond friendly and are very engaging with you. I will forever tip 25% here fam, don't be cheap support your local baristas. The ambiance is amazing, I'm an early bird, I got here around 8:30am and it was nice and quiet. Parking: Street parking everywhere can't be hard to park here. Overall, beyond 5 stars here! read more

The bagels were pretty good, especially the cream cheese because it tasted lemony. They had a unique selection of holiday drinks with fun names but the coffee all tasted pretty much the same, not necessarily like the flavor advertised. The food was pretty small portions and expensive. As a place for studying, it had good music with good sized tables, but it was lopsided and was kind of annoying because the whole thing would move if u leaned on it. The service was great everyone was friendly, but overall the prices were too high for not that great of product. read more

So I'm trying to find the best breakfast burrito and best coffee in Riverside. First place was Arcade Coffee. I got a draft latte which was actually really good, 8/10 and I got there Brekky burrito, which was eggs, espresso rubbed tri tip and cheese. Mmm I really wanted to like it but the tri tip was un flavorful for me and a bit too tough. I think some skirt cut steak would be amazing in it instead. The eggs were really soft and the sauce they used in it was really good too. But for 11.50 that protein better be good lol the service is really great, they're really nice and acknowledge you as you come in and as you leave. Super clean inside and the music they play is very relaxing and just mellow. I paid 23 for my draft latte and burrito which I think i think is a bit steep but it's a small business so I understand. I might come back for their coffee and maybe try one of their pastries. read more

I mean this place is just decent, but the breakfast burrito is pretty good. The reviews about no masks are right. Not all employees wear masks. I came in to find a coffee shop to study and enjoy some drinks. I ordered the matcha latte, um pass please. It was just milk with a bit of matcha and cane sugar. We also ordered the breakfast burrito which i will say was very good. Overall this is a good place to study. Over the weekend it gets really busy. However there are plenty of seating inside and some outside as well. There are also a lot of outlets available and wifi. read more

A lot of my friends really love Arcade. I have gone several times now and I just don't think it's for me! I love any coffee shop that makes their own syrups, but I think it may be their espresso I am not a fan of. The last two times I have went recently, both drinks I got were on the sour side. I am not too sure if they weren't dialed in or if that's just the taste. I got the Fall drink off their seasonal menu this last Wednesday & unfortunately I couldn't drink it. I'm still bemoaning the demise of our favorite local coffee shops formerly known as Augie's. They closed suddenly, apparently a borderline illegal move by the owners during Covid-19, for employees attempting to unionize. With this sudden vacuum downtown it made us look again for something comparable, with high quality coffee, and privately owned. With Lift greatly retracted and slightly off the beaten path we decided to give Arcade a try. Little nibbles I suppose you could say- our first attempt failed since they close earlier than anticipated. The second yielded good results with the almost industry standard medium roasted coffee, but I forget which varietals. A side note here, they roast on premises and the equipment is in plain sight as are the big bags of raw beans. Recently, however, we began to go more frequently, and on one such trip we commented that the vibe wasn't quite to our liking, just the atmosphere, nothing wrong with any of the employees. Maybe it was the music selection that day? It's only after having lattes a few times, hot tea, more coffee, and finally trying the Brunch Menu offered on weekends, that I feel Arcade warrants a VERY SOLID 4-stars. Some inconsistent flavors have popped up (vanilla ginger especially) but I thoroughly enjoy the seasonal Bourbon-Vanilla with its carmelized sugar cap and roasted marshmallow. Very impressive! My cat even took a liking to the crust on the edge of the cup. We concluded that the Beef Brisket Breakfast Burrito (they should call it B4, raised fourth power), I think it's one of the best I've had in Riverside. Full flavors, stuffed with goodness, and especially appreciated, not greasy. The added dimension of Tapatio hotsauce was the crowning touch. I'm looking forward to next weekend already and maybe try the Grits too! read more

I love the Arcade tasting room! They have a great selection of food and drinks just like the other Arcade locations. I enjoy the kombucha! and my friends got a few of the breakfast items. They were so good. The employees were super nice and one of them assisted a customer with sign language. Parking is limited and you might have to park down the street from the location. It's on a busy street. But we enjoyed the outdoor seating!! read more

Are people allowed to study there?
Yes, whenever I'm there I see people studying all the time. It's a great place for that because they have a lot of seating, and everyone who works there is super nice!
Does the staff follow COVID precautions and procedures? I heard some of the staff members are not wearing face masks, which is very concerning and disappointing especially during this difficult time.
You heard right. Staff are not wearing masks. 2 people behind registers did, but everyone in the food prep/ cook area did not. It's seems as if most visitors are aware this is a no mask kind of business.
Is almond milk available?
There are a few milk alternatives, almond is one of them!
Hows the parking situation here? Is there a private lot? Street parking?
Mostly street parking. There's maybe 3-4 spots on the private lot.
Do they serve breakfast?
Yes, they have daily pastries and weekend brunch. Also pizza on thurs and fri.
