I've driven by this location and I had no idea it was an Arcade! It looks unsuspecting on the outside, with the gray and the aideo town sign. Parking can be a bit tricky. Theres a couple spots in the front and to the side is a small parking lot. There is also street parking. There's two benches outside and inside, it's bright with the white walls and wood. It's a contemporary space, light, airy, and to the side, is the roaster. Up front, the counter and various menus. There's a seasonal, food, and regular menu. There were several people inside but plenty of space to sit. I ordered a small banana bread matcha. The barista was making my drink as I was paying. He was polite. It was $8 with some change. My drink tasted exactly like banana! It was good. There a cool vibe to this place. I would definitely come back and try a food item too.
Holy roasters this place is good! Parking is rough but good amount of seating inside. The location is hidden in the industrial area behind North high and near UCR off university and Iowa. The banana bread matcha was really good. But the avocado toast was the highlight for me. Drink service was fast but the wait for food will be 20+ min just keep that in mind! Staff were friendly. I had been searching for this location and stumbled up on it. Highly recommend.
The strawberry cardamom is my favorite sweet from here :) I love the matcha, it's very flavored without losing the matcha flavor, people are very nice when you walk in, I like coming here and enjoying my matcha in the sofa, is so comfortable, I've tried the salmon bagel is very good. Arcade Coffee Roasters is a place for coffee enthusiasts and non-coffee enthusiasts alike--they have options for all ages and tastes. This is a very unique shop. I must say I was hesitant to go here for a few reasons (none of them great, to be honest). First, the name--I didn't get the connection between "arcade" and "coffee" (then again what does that matter). Second, the location: it's in an odd building that doesn't scream typical coffee shop, with restricted and unusual parking. After overcoming these nonsensical, self-created mental barriers, we walked inside and saw that this is a sophisticated operation with wonderful products, employees, and a truly unique experience. When we entered, we saw a very nice menu with pictures showcasing the drinks and highlighting what makes each one special. The barista was super casual and friendly. She asked over the counter if we had any questions and told us to let her know when we were ready. Her welcoming approach was perfect for first-time visitors. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice matcha and the Cherry Glaze matcha. Both were delicious, and it was clear that quality is a major focus here. The matchas weren't overloaded with syrup like some places; instead, they tasted naturally infused--subtle, balanced, and perfect. For snacks, we tried the salmon bagel and the blueberry scone. Both were excellent. The bagel was fresh and packed with flavor, again showcasing quality ingredients. The scone was one of the best I've had from a coffee shop--it tasted like it came straight from a bakery. The blueberries were large and bursting with flavor, and the texture was ideal: not too hard, not too soft. It was just right. (They should name it "Goldilocks"!) In addition to coffee, matcha, and chai tea, they also offer craft sodas and other choices for any mood. We decided to enjoy our drinks and snacks inside. As we sat, we noticed they have their own bean-roasting machine (totally unique!). I've never seen one in person, but for coffee lovers who enjoy fresh roasts, this means they bring in green coffee beans, roast them on-site, and produce the freshest, highest-quality product possible. (You could say "they have the beans" -- a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference for fans of the show.) Aside from having "the beans," they also had a projector showing the World Cup. There are plenty of seating options: tables with chairs, standing desks, sofas, and benches. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven on Earth.
This might be the best latte I've ever had in the IE. I really enjoyed the low-key ambiance this coffee shop offers. I came here and we ordered 3 large draft lattes to-go on a weekday afternoon. The cashier was great and let us know they come with oat milk automatically included with the price. The coffees came out extremely fast. I absolutely loved my latte. I wish I lived closer because I would definitely be a regular here. My only gripe is the limited parking but it's definitely worth the walk.
stopped by this cutesy, casual cafe for a brunch with friends and it's located in a plaza that's predominantly next to corporate buildings and the only available parking seemed like it was either street meter parking or the parking structure. seats and tables are very limited here and may be hard to find availability as people do study and work inside here. as for the food and drinks, i ordered their raspberry matcha with oat milk which really tasted like the fruit loop cereal. i do wish it was a little bit creamier but the flavor was yummy, not so much matcha flavor though. i also tried the huevos rancheros and i'd give it a 7/10. portion was good for its price, but flavors were pretty one note; slightly spiced eggs and beans.
drink: When I am on the road I am always looking for coffee roasters. This just makes there vanilla latte with oat milk to perfection. service: order at the counter and they will call your name when its ready. I dont bother looking anything else because I had to hit the road quick. ambiance: this place is clean, nice spot to study, catch up or hang outside and relax. no need to explain much, this review is just for me. I just found this is a chain! Sweet, ill be looking for more places along my exploration of cali.

My first time at Arcade was great! I stopped by for coffee after many recommendations and was surprised with the breakfast selection. The food was delish and I love that they serve their coffee in glass when you're dining in! Such a cute place, love the decor and the overall vibe. Service was great. Everyone was so polite and made great recommendations! I'll be back for sure!
I had the steak sandwich and it was pretty good. The bread was nice and fresh, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the sauce brought everything together very well. Our party got 3 different food items and everyone enjoyed their food, so that tells a lot. The pastry also looked pretty good. The wait time though was pretty horrible - I think I waited around 30-40 minutes for my sandwich! I just hope that is not their normal flow.
As cool as the band Arcade Fire and the eye pleasing Indie vibes to go with it. This shop definitely rocks when it comes to the coffee and they have dine in service to go with it. I ordered an espresso shot to start with so I could taste what I was getting myself into. After having it, I was ready to go! My second drink was their Gibraltar which was a Cortado and I already knew it was going to be good. My last drink was a basic Honey Cinnamon Latte which was well balanced. All the drinks delivered what I wanted and I was definitely satisfied. The space is really big with plenty of seating and it has the look that says we're here to preserve coffee culture. Now it may not be cute but if you want good coffee then here you go! I was also vibing to the playlist that consisted of head bobbing deep house. Overall it was a positive experience and the baristas are super chill. That's my take, Peace.
I got espresso. I tried the single origin and the house blend. The single origins had good crema, medium body, with notes of chocolate and fruit/citrus. It wasn't bitter or burnt. Solid execution 4/5. Probably more flavor clarity would have made it perfect. The house blend was also good. Not bitter or burnt, good crema and slightly more creamy texture than the single origin. I tasted more acidity in this shot but it wasn't overpowering 3.5/5. A solid choice if you like espresso.

Jordan and Matea (sorry for butching) - were absolutely awesome! Extremely welcoming and so open to helping us out and some good coffee! The Draft Coffee was Phenomenal and very good! First off, I've been hunting for a great chicken Cesar wrap for YEARS in Riverside, and I can FINALLY SAY I HAVE FOUND THE ONE. I've always been a huge fan of arcade but one of the things that I love so much about this place is they are down to try NEW things so often! From seasonal lattes to cold foam drinks to now new menu items it's such an exciting time to come to arcade. If you haven't been to the tasting room in a bit, I would urge you to come by! The staff is the best, the space is so chill and now they have THE BEST CESAR WRAP IN THE IE. What more could you want? read more

Everytime I walk in here it's a vibe. They play great music. Today I walked in and they were playing Hiatus Kaiyote. Their coffee and cappuccinos are great. Their seasonal flavors are fire. Last month they had a mango sticky rice flavor that I drove 40 mins for. This month they have Honey Orange Blossom. They have outlets. The service is always great; Kind and just relaxed team. love this place! I get the the iced latte with half of the honey cinnamon syrup and oat milk, so good. draft latte is also so so so delicious, but lately I've been finding it a little too sweet for me for my morning drink haha-- definitely still good as a treat! weekends are packed and it's difficult to find a table inside (not a problem when the weather is good and there's tables outside!) the other day I went in at 12 on a Sunday and it took me nearly an hour to get my drinks. That being said, the service is always very friendly helpful and efficient as they can be given the popularity! read more

My 5-stars are for the coffee. Kenyan pour- over: yes please! I love single origin varietals. My sweetheart said his latte was delicious too....but the cafe itself? The weirdest! Like, unexplainably odd. Ragey emo rock in the early AM. No cash allowed. Austere. A little bit cold? Sharp? I like a moody warehouse roaster as much as the next guy, but Arcade's take did nothing for me. Normally, there's some bit of energy that makes the alt/industrial thing endearing and cool - a unique thing that makes you want to be there. None of that spice at Arcade. Is the vibe no vibe? Still the best coffee shop with the BEST staff. Sometimes I don't even want coffee, I just come to see the people who have become good friends. The vibe of this location is by far my favorite. This is the flagship location (Tasting Room) for Arcade Coffee Roasters. The second location is a bakery called Arcade Coffee Roasters - The Bakehouse (kitchen closes at 2 PM) and the third location is a brunch spot called Arcade Downtown (Downtown Riverside). This company initially launched independently in June of 2015 in a tiny warehouse garage. In 2017, they had a successful Kickstarter campaign (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcaderoasters/arcade-coffee-roasters-tasting-room) and this current location (formerly a video store) became the new flagship shop. Roasting at Tasting Room happens on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays. [Parking]: This flagship location has a tiny private parking lot, but the lot only has 4 available spots (one is handicapped) and all spots were most likely taken by employee's vehicles. I ended up with street parking and didn't have any issues finding a spot. [Service]: Super friendly staff and the staff automatically apply "The Perfect Pair" special ($1 off on a pastry and a coffee from 7 AM to 9 AM). I didn't wait too long to receive my order. [Menu]: Coffee options include latte, draft latte (sweet cold coffee), gibraltar, cappuccino, cold brew, and hot sparrow. Modifiers include 7 syrups (vanilla, mocha, lavender, simple syrup, honey cinnamon, agave cardamon, butterscotch) plus seasonal syrup. Non-coffee options like chai tea latte and matcha latte are also available. For food they offer bagels, toasts, parfait, oats, and burritos (weekend only). *** Latte (hot $5.25 + Lavender $0.50 + Large $1): Smooth texture and not overly sweet - really amazing latte. Brown Butter Carrot Muffin ($4.50): Muffin texture wasn't bad, but a little bit too sweet for my taste. *** S-tier LA quality coffee drinks in Riverside & Riverside has really stepped up the coffee competition with Arcade Coffee Roasters and Mundial. read more

Had a very positive experience trying our this Cafe I really enjoyed the ambiance and how cozy the interior of this place is. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable I also shared that I was from out of town and it was my first time stopping by and he gave me a token so I could try out one of their other 2 locations. I found that to be such a nice gesture. I do plan to check out one of their other locations called the bakeshop as he recommended it and the bread looks great. I loved seeing they had a season Horchata flavor as well which seemed really interesting. Food wise, the avocado toast was delicious very generous with the avocado and loved the citrus and oil added. First coffee shop adventure since moving to Riverside and I was not disappointed. Very simplistic, no frills place and you can tell they are really focused on the quality of their coffee. The food was also great! We had the cheesy grits, the sammie, and avocado toast. My roommate said this was the best grits she has had outside of the South. The Sammie was really tasty and there was a lot of tri tip! Avocado toast surprised me- I usually don't pay for avocado toast because I can make something similar at home but there was definitely something else to this one. They were very generous with the avocado, and it didn't have that "earthy" taste avocados sometimes have. The service was awesome and the staff were very patient and friendly. I love coming here!!! The girls are always so kind to you and make conversation :) the food is pretty yummy, I've had their burrito and it was bombbb!!! In love with their draft coffee!!! It was soooo yummy. My boyfriend has had their matcha latte and he thoroughly enjoyed it and he's a picky asf so I feel like that says a lot. Quality of espresso shots that were pulled tasted terrible! By far the worst coffee I've had in a while. After leaving the Bakeshop location I went to Chicago ave location and the same terrible coffee was made for me! Along with bad coffee customer service was terrible, the same girl with the glasses at checkout with a nasty attitude(Chicago ave location) short with sandy brown hair blonde steaks when I figure out her name I'll post another review with it! Beware of this place.Arcade coffee roasters need to do a better job at hospitality for some people this is their first interaction for the morning and to be addressed with nastiness is sickening. Are people allowed to study there?
Yes, whenever I'm there I see people studying all the time. It's a great place for that because they have a lot of seating, and everyone who works there is super nice!
Does the staff follow COVID precautions and procedures? I heard some of the staff members are not wearing face masks, which is very concerning and disappointing especially during this difficult time.
You heard right. Staff are not wearing masks. 2 people behind registers did, but everyone in the food prep/ cook area did not. It's seems as if most visitors are aware this is a no mask kind of business.
Is almond milk available?
There are a few milk alternatives, almond is one of them!
Hows the parking situation here? Is there a private lot? Street parking?
Mostly street parking. There's maybe 3-4 spots on the private lot.
Do they serve breakfast?
Yes, they have daily pastries and weekend brunch. Also pizza on thurs and fri.
