Their roasts are consistently good, whether I'm having their house blend or trying one of their single origins. I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad espresso here. I still remember my first visit because I came specifically to try their coffee horchata slush. I'm VERY picky about horchata, especially when a place says they make it themselves. Last month they were debuting a different slush flavor on the patio every weekend. I love little things like that because it gives you another reason to come back and try something new. There have definitely been a couple of their more creative drinks that weren't necessarily for me, but that was completely about my personal taste and not the quality of the drink. The ingredients were good and the drink was made well. It just wasn't a flavor profile I personally gravitate toward. That's part of the fun of trying specialty coffee. The pastries they bring in are another bonus. Having great pastries alongside this level of coffee just makes the whole experience better. I also want to thank everyone who has helped me here over all my visits. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone by name because the weekends can get pretty busy, so there usually isn't much time for conversation. Despite how busy it gets, I've always appreciated the service. The inside isn't huge, and on weekends it can sometimes be difficult to find a table. If you're planning to bring a laptop and work for a while, I'd probably recommend coming during the week instead. Apparently, I've aged out of that aesthetic. Service was decent and quick, though, and I really love the mission behind this business, which definitely deserves some extra love from me. If you're driving up North Circle Drive towards Humber Park, it's on the left, across the street from the record shop past Nomad Ventures. They have these nice aluminum cups and will discount future drinks if you bring it back (my cup is a few years old and looking great). The coffee is really phenomenal -- I only drink black coffee. My iced coffee was massive and $5 with the discount for the reusable cup. They offer beans too (didn't see the price) and they have these fancy dark chocolate bars that probably would pair well with a coffee. Staff is always friendly!
