Breakfast plate and vanilla lattes (hot and iced)

It's been a while since we visited here, but my goodness it feels like eating at my grandma's (in the very best way). It's a little family-run shop that has so many gorgeous basil, begonia, and pothos everywhere. The whipped feta eggs are heavenly and, even though I don't normally love sausage, the kofte are so good and rich. The homemade desserts are gorgeous and we couldn't resist getting some tiramisu and torta pie. It's so chill and a great place to get a very late brunch (we went in at 1:30). Everyone there is SO sweet too!

As soon as we walked into Arber Cafe, we were greeted by a big smile by the Owner's daughter. If you are looking to try Albanian food - this is a good spot to try! We tried the Petulla, fried dough with pistachios & drizzled honey,it was delicious! We also tried the Bryke with spinach. It was crisp and fresh! For the mains, we tried the special for the day which was goat cheese and olive spread on the bread topped with sunny side eggs and salad. It was well made with fresh ingredients. We also had the Sufflaqe - which was delicious lamb wrapped in a pita! Everything was freshly made and delicious. We tired the cold latte as well and it was very good! The decor of the cafe is an homage to their Albanian's culture.

Arber Cafe is an Albanian coffee shop and cafe in South St. Louis. We went there on a Sunday instead of going to a more well known brunch spot that was overcrowded a block away. We were pleasantly surprised with the excellent service, authentic food, and delicious coffee. We tried Byrek and the Arber breakfast which featured scrambled eggs with feta, Albanian meatballs, fried potatoes, bread, and homemade jam. Everything was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Chic smaller cafe with vibrant floral and wonderful owner. Owner does speak limited English but her food is fantastic. Sufllaqe was mouthwatering and good portion. The Turkish coffee was also great tasting. I felt like it was a mini experience of Albania.

We love this restaurant. We enjoy the atmosphere of a small, local, family run business. And yes, the family is from Albania! We have tried and loved the Arber's breakfast plate, the watermelon salad, Ali Pash, a parfait, the Byrek filo pie. And more delicious food we haven't even tried. ...and, all very sweet people.

A cozy little place. Delicious Turkish coffee. Some of the best pastries in St. Louis. A very friendly owner, reasonable prices, and great food.

This is the place to go. Let me start off by saying, this is the best Breakfast Sandwich I've ever had in my life. I absolutely loved the Egg Breakfast Sandwich & Salad. The flavors were so delicious and perfectly balanced. And let me tell you about the French Vanilla Latte- it was hands down the best tasting latte I've ever had. The person next to me even expressed that themselves. The service was amazing, such lovely charisma. The atmosphere was so relaxing with a cozy & calm serene. I can't wait to come back!

Wonderful food! Definitely worth trying. I enjoyed the Albanian food. It is so stick-to-your ribs delicious and filling. This restaurant has limited hours in the evenings on weekends. It is located on the corner and you order from a menu at a bar and then find a seat in their small dining room. I hope to return soon to try some of the other offerings at this establishment.

I fell in love with the service from sweet Eli in addition to the atmosphere, the fresh coffee, the desserts and homemade breakfast. Cute tables and bench, fresh herbs, honestly homemade. There is no comparable food like this. Every other breakfast place is the same but this is not. You can't beat it. The prices are perfect. The spices are perfect. And it's super healthy. I'll be there regularly.

I've been driving by this place for the last few years since moving to south city and it's always been a place I wanted to try! I'm so happy I decided to swing in today because my goodnessssssss this might be my new spot!! I've never had Albanian food, and I have to say my first experience was TOP NOTCH. The woman working the counter www so sweet and kind and really helped me with the menu. I ended up getting the Ali Pash and the Petulla as dessert. The atmosphere took me by surprise- the inside was so cute and welcoming and really was my "ideal" cafe vibe. The windows and plants oh my oh my!!! Will be coming back and I'll most definitely be showing this spot to my friends :)

I found this place for Mother's Day brunch but had never heard of it. I ordered the Mediterranean omelette after pondering over the other delicious sounding items. The omelette was delicious and filled with flavor. I can't wait to try this place again. The place itself was cute and welcoming. I really like all of the real plants they have. They handled the crowd in a timely manner for it being a holiday.

The only real warmth we encountered came from the female host; the rest of the staff delivered service that hovered somewhere between disinterested and "we're doing you a favor by being here." We kicked things off with the fried deviled eggs, which arrived neither fried nor particularly deviled -- just cold little reminders that hope is fleeting. Cocktails landed squarely in "General Public" territory. My Squatty Potty showed up lukewarm, like it had been loitering at the bar contemplating its life choices instead of making it to the table piping hot. A chicken Caesar salad was perfectly fine... if you enjoy playing hide-and-seek with the chicken. The breakfast burger came on an English muffin with what might be the most emotionally unavailable portion of hash brown casserole I've ever seen -- tiny, distant, and gone too soon. Then there's the Scream Burger. Marketed as ghost-pepper spicy, priced like it's the main event, and delivered with all the heat of a polite Midwestern handshake. Dry, bland, and somehow bold enough to charge me an extra dollar for more mayo -- because nothing says "premium burger experience" like a condiment upcharge to make it edible. My husband's Pork Pountine? Imagine fries sprinkled with a few bacon bits like confetti at a party nobody wanted to attend. We came in excited because Eat Crow in Soulard sets the bar high. Unfortunately, Crows Nest feels like it's cooking for someone driving in from Chesterfield who asked the kitchen to "tone it down." If you're craving the real deal, do yourself a favor: go to Soulard. This nest still needs a lot more feathers. And to the influencers calling this place "amazing" -- do better. Honest, authentic reviews help restaurants grow and help diners know what they're walking into. Stop selling hype and start telling the truth.
