We walked in and grabbed a seat in the bar area. The bartender was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. We started with a round of drinks and the Toasted Raviolis. My friend was impressed with them! For dinner, I ordered the Steak Modiga with a loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the modiga sauce was delicious with all the provel, prosciutto, and mushrooms that covered the steak evenly. The loaded baked potato was hot and filled with all the goods including cheese and bacon. My friend got the ribeye with the loaded baked potato, and it was just right for him. I decided to end the evening with another Tito's and lemonade instead of dessert. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Carnivore. It's a fantastic local spot on The Hill that I'll definitely be returning to again and again! If you're looking for a place to host a small event, Carnivore has a great spot upstairs called The D'Amici Room. It can hold up to 100 people and was amazing to work with for a Buffalo Trace event in October 2025.

Undercooked which had to be a challenge given the thin cut. The best part about the steak was the crunchy sea salt that topped it. Even Cracker Barrel fills your water. Our waters were never refilled. The menu prices did not meet the low bar standards for every part of this dining experience from the service to the poor quality of the food. For 75 a plate I expected at least quality food and what I received was not quality food. The potato was not bad to me but everything on the table was served tepid and not at all hot. However there were some things warmer than others... my steak was warm, my daughters was cold, her lobster was warm and mine was not. The pork chop was just tepid and the potatoes were just cold. The same went with appetizers, fried artichokes were cold but zucchini was so hot I burned my mouth.... It was much busier when we went last night than when we went for dinner and i left feeling as if they either need more cooks or one that can handle a busy restaurant because the food was just not good. A big disappointment as it was my birthday dinner and one I had really looked forward to. If I were to go back it would be for the lobster roll which was the amazing lunch I had some time back or for an appetizer and a drink and that simply because the staff really are great and the little store out front so cute and J love Italian Grocers... Potatoes were extremely crispy on the outside and softer on the inside which I love. Everyone with me enjoyed their food as well! It was as great as I remembered. I had their rigatoni with sausage, my wife had baked spaghetti with meatballs, my BIL had lasagna and my SIL had salmon. I also added a classic Ceasar salad. All of our entrees were excellent. The service is superb and definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Our waiter was excellent - he said he's been doing this for 18 years and was one of the best, most professional waiters I've ever met. The barista recommended their house-made vanilla syrup and suggested coconut milk with it, so I decided to trust the process. I'm gonna be honest, y'all......I thought I didn't like coconut, but my god. This latte was DELICIOUS! 10/10 I also got a cheese and chive croissant, which was yummy, but I'm definitely going to try some other things here too. I do wish it had been warmed up.
