We went to the St. Louis Art Museum's Panorama restaurant and they had delicious food! I ordered the Charleston Shrimp and Grits and my boyfriend ordered the Panorama Breakfast. Both were so delicious! The grits were some of the best I have ever eaten and the shrimp were very large. The Panorama Breakfast included two eggs your way, bacon, sausage and cranberry pumpkin toast. Very tasty too. View out the floor to ceiling windows is charming and it is of the top of Art Hill and the St. Louis statue. They gave me a lovely amuse bouche small dessert for my birthday and it too was delicious. We combined it with three scoops of vanilla ice cream from Clementine's that were full of flavor. I highly recommend Panorama for a meal or brunch! There are two side rooms that can hold larger groups too.

Peruano Bean & Burrata Dip- stunning but bland

The food is a work of art, befitting its setting inside the Art Museum. After a great morning of touring we enjoyed excellent service here at Panorama, but weren't blown away by the taste. We split the burrata and bean appetizer and, it could have been on the cover of Food and Wine. Absolutely stunning, but really lacked any flavor. My friend had a decent burger, the French dip sliders were also fine, and we both had the cauliflower salad that was light but again, not seasoned enough for us. Overall, so glad we tried it, but for the price I don't know that we would return.

I got a chance to finally try this place. I ended up paying $15 to park in the art museum garage because street parking was limited. After taking the elevator upstairs to the first level, we walked in and let the hostess know we had a reservation. The hostess was pleasant and nice. We sat quickly at our table and were greeted by a woman who poured us some water. We ordered an ice tea and lemonade while we looked over the menu. Our waitress was nice enough to give us extra time to look since this was our first time here. We ended up ordering the steak frita and burger and chips. The wait for our food was about 15 minutes. The food was good overall. I do wish they would have drained my burger a bit from the grease. It made my burger a bit messier than it should have been. But it was still well seasoned and cooked overall. The place was clean and has plenty of natural light coming in from the ceiling to floor windows. Apparently, they have brunch on Saturday and Sundays. Something I will definitely come back for. Until next time...

The food was wonderful! I had the shrimp and grits, bathed in a delightful stew and crowned with a poached egg. This dish is so popular that it is only served on the weekends. It is a delightful reminder of Cajun cuisine that thrives in St Louis, and a fitting addition to the menu of an art museum. My problem was the ambiance + dining experience. As a solo diner, I was seated at a small table, as expected. The restaurant was largely empty when I arrived (no other diners in the main dining area, another party - of 3 -in the private section). To my surprise, two bites into my entree, a large birthday party was seated right next to me. The sound levels in the room rose by... several decibels. The server and host had to steer them away from my table several times. This other party had a different server - why were they not seated in another section? Ultimately, I packed it up mid-meal. I provided this feedback to the host directly.

My friend had been raving about this place and was dying for me to try. I was really excited as the menu looked great and the service was incredible. They got us in as a larger party with no reservation in no time. I ordered the monte crisco and was taken about when I saw the size, especially for the price. The taste was fine but left still hungry. I did however try another friends pancake and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor and portion. Definitely will give it another chance in the future.

First of all, great environment. Great place to hangout with your friends or colleagues and enjoy some art afterwards. Staff are very friendly and I loved their Brussels sprouts and lobster bisque! Will come back again!

Went for tea during Art In Bloom for $60 a person and was very pleasantly surprised! The service was amazing and all of the canapés were so tasty. Usually I leave high tea hungry but not here! My only complaint would be that we didn't get to choose our tea type but overall, would highly recommend!

I made a lunch reservation online for my mom's birthday about a week in advance, they made sure to accommodate all special requests that were submitted along with it. The hostess and our waiter both wished her a happy birthday upon greeting us and sat us in from of the window as previously requested. We ordered crispy Brussels sprouts and a couple sandwiches to share. Everything was served in a timely manner, courses were spread evenly apart. The atmosphere is light, open and spacious. I absolutely love the floor to ceiling windows and all the natural light. We had a great time and they gave us a complementary birthday treat. Our waiter made a point to ask if we were members of the museum and applied our membership discount to our bill. I thought that was extremely kind of him especially because I did not realize that was a perk and wouldn't have known to ask. 10/10

The ambiance is very nice and quiet. The restaurant is located in the art museum and fairly classy. A great option for dates or a nice casual lunch. The food is pretty good, although the crepe is a little lack luster, everything else is pretty good. The Brussels sprouts are very good (fried with sugar) and the lobster is better than most I've had. The service is a bit lacking as they never came back to check on us or to refill water, but it's no big deal. A very good place for lunch when visiting forest park if you didn't want to be stuck at the zoo with just burgers, fries or any other finger foods.

I came here for my birthday with my friend. She said that when she made the reservation, it asked if they were celebrating so she marked birthday. When were you arrived, they told me happy birthday. But the weird thing is they never really did anything, not even a dessert. We thought that was odd. Our reservations were at 11:15 AM so when we arrived, there was only one other table of people. We sat at a table by the window. It was really just a window view. It was nothing that you would think of to be described as a panoramic view. And to get a good view, you had to get one of the few tables right at the window. The best thing about the entire meal was the brussels sprouts. These were like fried and drizzled with honey. They were absolutely delicious. I ordered the turkey Gouda sandwich. It was pretty good. My friend ordered the lobster roll and said it was OK. We had actually thought that would be better. It came with an interesting watermelon salad. The prices were pretty much the amount that you would expect to spend for lunch out. Bonus is that it is attached to the art museum so make sure you have an extra hour or two to browse through it.

Fancy little restaurant inside the St. Louis art museum. We only ordered two appetizers as snacks but they are both delicious. Good break for in between looking at exhibits.

Looking for a classy brunch, this is it! From the friendly staff, scenic location and delicious food you will have a memorable time. The hostess that greeted me was extremely nice and friendly. I sat at a table near the window overlooking Forest Park. It was a beautiful, sunny day. I had the breakfast sampler, plenty of food, delicious and reasonably priced. I can't wait to return. Be sure to make reservations in advance.

I came in a little before closing and they were able to seat me and were very attentive but not make me feel rushed. My food and wine were delicious and I'd highly recommend the tuna avocado toast!

I'll be up front and disclose that I AM NOT A SALAD PERSON. The closest form of a salad that I eat would be a chicken Caesar wrap laden with dressing and cheese and carbs with probably 2000 calories. That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. They grow everything themselves - so cool. I love the friendly employees and the really really fresh greens and combinations. I got the cheese bread but was really close to ordering the soup instead. I'll skip the bread and try the soup next time. No matcha soft serve available the day that I went.

You walk into this older building and it just opens up into this bright, clean, almost energizing space . I went with the Umami Crunch with tofu and... yeah, this is the kind of place that makes you realize how rare a really good salad is. Like, when do you ever eat a salad and think, "the lettuce is incredible"? That happened here. Everything tasted fresh in a way that's hard to explain unless you've had it. And then you find out why--they literally have a hydroponic farm attached. Not just for show either... they do tours, and a lot of what you're eating is coming straight from there. It makes the whole experience feel different in the best way. The portions are huge, super filling, and still somehow feel light and clean. I also grabbed a local blue spirulina kombucha that ended up being one of the best I've had. If you keep wandering toward the back, it turns into this almost maze-like space, and on weekends they do a pop-up called Biscuit Town with breakfast items (including vegan options). It just keeps going. Honestly, I walked in craving a REALLY good salad and left wondering why it's so hard to find places like this. This is one of those spots you go to once and immediately know you'll be back.

That's the vibe. We started on the front patio on a Friday night and quickly realized we'd made a mistake. The doors to the interior were open and the music -- a rock-forward playlist that night -- was loud enough that we considered bailing. Our server, was unbothered when we asked to move up to the rooftop. Where we met with a new bartender and server, London, who rolled with it, got us resettled, and from that point on the night was great. London was clearly handling the bar and most of the rooftop tables, but she was attentive throughout, and made eye contact, which seems a near miracle from many 20-something these days. Bumping the score up just for the flexibility on the table move alone. The food: crab cakes were genuinely good, not life-changing, but well above the weak-crab-cake bar that exists in most of the world, served simply with capers and a small salad. I went off-script and ordered the wagyu burger medium rare with fontina (London mentioned cheddar is the more common pick, but the Fontina offerd a great alternative). The burger was deeply flavorful and cooked exactly right, but here's my one real note for the kitchen: toast the brioche bun. Wagyu medium-rare puts out a lot of juice, and an untoasted bun loses its structural integrity about three bites in. A quick toast would let the bun keep some additional integrate and keep up with the perfectly cooked beef. The pom buff were great, the best elevated patato tots you may come by. Beyond what we ordered, the Greek salad is a longtime go-to -- chopped, with grape leaves and pita, available in a small or large, and easily dressed up into a light meal with or without adding some protein or can be share as a self-dress bruschetta appetizer for the group if you ask for extra bread. The cheese boards are also a reliable pick. The wine list is extensive (it's a wine bar, after all), but they don't sniff at cocktails -- I had a solid fine old fashioned, and my wife shared had a Malbec that paired well with everything. Lots of gluten-free options across the menu, too. What Sasha's gets right is that it has refused to become precious. "Wine bar" reads as pretentious to some people, but this place runs as a neighborhood spot. You'll see college kids dressed way down, couples on dates dressed way up, Hawaiian shirts, oversized sweaters, the full range. It's the kind of place where you can split a bottle with your girlfriends, meet a date for drinks and a quick bite without committing to a full dinner, or roll in for brunch on the weekend. Different times of day, different vibes -- always approachable. 4.7 stars. Loses a few tenths for the front-patio music situation and the weak burger bun, but more than makes up for it on flexibility, food, and overall hang factor.

After explaining we'd just be there briefly for a drink, we were allowed to sit there, but the interaction felt dismissive. From that point on, the experience felt rushed. We were pushed to order quickly, our menus were taken right away, and the check came almost immediately. It made what should have been a relaxed stop feel uncomfortable and transactional. I understand how busy restaurants can get, especially on nice days, but a little more consideration and courtesy would have gone a long way.
