One of Hawaiʻi's best Italian restaurants just gave us another reason to visit Waikīkī. I've been dining at Arancino for years, and one of the things I appreciate most is how consistently they deliver quality food, warm hospitality, and a true Italian dining experience. Now through July 31, they're offering a NEW Happy Hour from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM daily, making it even easier to enjoy one of Waikīkī's most beloved restaurants. Highlights include: $8 sparkling wine Happy Hour drinks starting at $8 Special Happy Hour menu items Full regular menu available starting at 4 PM What I especially love is that you don't have to choose between Happy Hour and dinner. You can enjoy both during that hour. Since the promotion only runs through July and lasts just one hour each day, I'd recommend making reservations and arriving early. If you're looking for a great date night spot, a place to catch up with friends, or simply craving authentic Italian food in Waikīkī, Arancino continues to be one of my favorites. Arancino on Beachwalk Through July 31 Happy Hour Daily | 4 PM-5 PM Note: portion size might feel a little on the smaller sides but the prices make up for it... I look at it more as affordable appetizers so I can try more items

10/2026 We were in town and had a nice casual date night at arancino beach walk. One of our favorite spots . We had Jaime (yay) , she made our evening so fun. We shared Caesar salad, calamari fritti, clams and tobiko spaghetti calamari. Everything was so good (as usual).

Bummed that I didn't love this place! Started off rocky when we walked up & were asked if we had a reservation, we said we didn't & asked if we needed one. Instantly I could feel the vibe was off as we didn't get a response. If we needed a reservation, that's no big deal! That was our bad for not checking. They eventually "squeezed" us in, & asked if we would be done in 1 hour as that was when their next reservation was. Super weird to me, we don't want to be a bother if a place is all booked up. I can understand if they were trying to be nice squeezing us between reservations, but it didn't feel welcoming at all. The restaurant is intimate & well kept. Our server was really sweet. The food just didn't hit the mark for me. The pasta tasted bland & seemed overpriced to me for what it was.

This place is my favorite Italian spot on island to be honest. I ALWAYS come here for their carbonara, easily their best item. My friend also got the margherita pizza and that was pretty good as well. Everything here is amazing. The ambiance is quite casual and looks like a traditional Italian restaurant. The servers are great on checking up and refilling any of our needs.

Review 32 (2026) Lunch time. We booked at 11am. I went there a little earlier, but they let me in. When entered, they greeted "Buongiorno" in Italian " Welcome". I was seated before 11am. My husband arrived a little later. We usually ordered lunch set $28( Kamaaina discount price is $21 with State ID). We ordered Ala carte at this time. We had, Caesar salad and Uni pasta to share. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Manager came to our table and said Hi. We didn't order many but their service was great. Caesar salad was always delicious. Recommend asking for fresh grind black pepper. Uni pasta is so rich and creamy. Uni pasta is my favorite, whenever we come to Arancino we never missed ordering. We will come back soon again. Thank you so much. I already booked in August at Arancino at Kahala to celebrate for my daughter and myself birthday.

Finally got to try Arancino on Beach walk, I got to try all the other locations except this one til today. This location is the most casual out of them all and smaller than the other locations but still provides great food and service! The food was excellent and we had 2 waitresses helping us out. The manager (at least who we think was the manager lol) came around checking in on us. The food was great, pasta was amazing. Personally the pizza was just alright for the price and size. I just like my pizza sauce a little thicker and more cheese but maybe that's just a personal preference. The meat lovers pizza did have a good amount of pizza. Overall we had a great experience at this location. There are 2 parking lots close by but we lucked out and got the street parking right in front of the restaurant. We'll be back!

Carbonara - my absolute favorite, ended up adding an extra order for the table as one was not enough

Arancino is a long standing authentic Italian restaurant known for their incredible uni pasta, risotto made table side in cheese wheel, and crispy thin pizzas. If you enjoy authentic and fresh Italian cuisine, you simply can't go wrong with any dish, though my personal favorite is the amazingly flavorful and creamy carbonara. Expect to see lots of Japanese tourists here, the restaurant has a cult following having been featured in every major Japanese guidebook to Hawaii over many decades. I still remember the first time I dined at Arancino, I came with a large group of friends a few days before my wedding on this beautiful island. My wedding party had friends from both coasts and around the world, and everyone was blown away by the amazing feast. Now I'm back with my lovely extended family, and even my nephew, a picky eater devoured his kids bolognese pasta and fresh focaccia. Service is always incredibly friendly, efficient, and accommodating, theres really nothing more you can ask for...except for maybe stronger AC...it does get quite warm in the cozy restaurant, be prepared to cool off with lots of cold drinks!

The food was tasty. We had 2 course meals, calamari fritte, Caesar salad, Vongole, and rigatoni. The course mea include a lobster bisque, entree (uni pasta or bolognese, NY steak, and tiramisu). The restaurant is small. Lots of tables. The service seemed rushed and a bit disorganized. The servers were necessarily the order taker so they didn't know who got which dish. We did not get bread and had to ask, thereby, received a response, "oh, you want more?" Table clearing was rough and kinda disorganized, more random. Although we got 2 tiramisu with the course meal, they didn't ask if we wanted more dessert. I would have ordered the affogato. Ambiance is just ok. Eat quickly! Validated parking is 2 hrs in the Bank Of Hawaii bldg.

A taste of Italy in the heart of Waikiki -- wow! Our server, Rachel, was such a gem. She was so pleasant and had plenty of recommendations (which we heeded, since she had answers to all our questions). I got the Risotto ai Funghi, which Rachel finished preparing right by our table by mixing it in an imported cheese wheel. The experience of seeing the pasta being tossed and finished in the cheese elevated the experience -- and it tasted amazing. We also got the Carpaccio di Capesante, which is the scallop sashimi topped with caviar and sea asparagus. That was also fantastic! Rachel brought focaccia to the table as well, which was nice and crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. We finished up with the sorbetto and tiramisu. It may be a little pricey, depending on what you get. But I'd say it's definitely worth the experience! The inside of the restaurant was... cozy. We were almost elbow-to-elbow with another party. It was also a tad warm inside, but we are in Hawaii, so that's to be expected. But the tablecloths and wall decorations inside were very cute, too! Overall, a great experience. I'd love to go back!

We stumbled on to this little gem when walking to the beach one day and I knew I wanted to come back! We had the 28.00 lunch special and some of the best margarita pizza we've ever had! The lobster bisque was also to die for! All made in house including the tiramisu...WOW is all we can say!!!! Shout out to our server Rachel and Stacy the owner who made us feel so welcome.

We talked to Rocket... asking about the restaurant. He steered us to eat here. Best food we've had in Waikiki! Ceasar salad, A Calamari (fresh & tender), A- Carbonaro pasta,A Risotto mushroom......A-... cooked at the table with huge aged cheese, what a treat. Each dish was excellence on display. Service was spot on polished, great team work, regular check ins.... just a great experience and delicious food. Waitress was Minami.... also was great. Thank you everybody for a great dinner. Ambiance is like going to Italy (close space, happy ppl and great food.

Dropped by for lunch and really enjoyed it! They offer a $28 lunch set with a choice of pasta or pizza. I went with the pasta with a Caesar salad. The salad was fresh and tasty, and the bolognese was served hot and flavorful. It was a touch on the salty side, so I felt a little thirsty afterward, but still very satisfying overall. They also make this lunch set as a Kamaaina special for $21, which is a great deal for lunch in Waikiki. Thank you for the wonderful meal and friendly service!

Our waitress for the night was Vagoda, like Pagoda, she said we can call her V. she was great, very attentive and made sure we got everything we needed for our party of 7 especially extra wine glasses, ice, napkins, plates, and did I miss anything else. We ordered few appetizers to share family style and the main entrees, along with beer and brought in our bottle of wine $30. corkage fee, also brought in a b-day cake. We had a great time chatting, drinking, and enjoying our meal, cake, stayed at the restaurant a bit longer but the owner and V was very accommodating, we didn't felt rush to get out. For appetizer we got the NY steak appetizer, 2 orders bone marrow, hamachi carpaccio, escargot, smoke salmon salad, mushroom crostini, For main entree we got natto pasta, kinoko pasta, lasagna, and the special of the day king salmon alla spinach. These apps and entree was enjoyed by all of us! I love the marrow, a work for taking out the marrow but it was worth it, very creative, the crostini bread with mushroom, a little on the salty side but cheese mushroom on bread soooo good! The Kinoko pasta, that such a fusion dish and loved everything about it, the king salmon pasta was super tasty, loved the angel hair pasta and spinach on that entree! This spot…read moreis known to be a bit harder to snatch a reservation up, as they have their own reservation system sometimes requiring sending emails. We got to our reservation early at around 7:45-7:50. We waited outside and we were seated at around at almost 8:30. I understand that they may not be able to seat us right away, but I think making us wait almost 30 mins AFTER our supposed reservation time was a bit ridiculous. What is the point of a reservation?? When we finally got in, we were seated and scanned the online menu QR code that they bring around. We ordered * Burrata: 8/10. This was simple but good. Super refreshing and burrata tasted fresh. My main issue was with the toast, it wasn't really toasted. If the bread was more toasted, it would have created more of a textual contrast. The crust of the toast was slightly toasted but the inside was basically not at all. * Meatballs: 8.1/10. This was good, the sauce was flavorful and so was the meatballs. I felt like the meatballs had a hint of an "off" flavor. Maybe it was due to the tomato sauce. However, it wasn't bad. Again, the "toast" is what is causing it to have a lower score due. * Green Fettuccine Aragosta: 8.9/10. We enjoyed this dish quite a lot. I didn't care for the fettuccini noodles as much. (which is weird because it is usually my preferred pasta shape) It felt like it was not fully cooked/ wasn't fresh? However, the sauce was super flavorful and there were generous chunks of lobster meat within. * Spaghetti Granchio e Vodka: 8.2/10 I liked the spaghetti and the sauce as well, I would say that since the Aragosta was much more flavorful in my opinion, eating the two alongside eachother made it feel like the flavor slightly lacked. * Ravioli Granchio: 8.7/10 pretty good, each ravioli was filled with lobster meat along with some veggies. It wasn't as creamy as I may have thought/wanted it to be, but it was good regardless. The pieces of blueberries threw the flavor off for me so I picked them out. * Creme brulee Cheesecake: 8.5/10 my partner loves crème brulee and cheesecake so it was the perfect finisher for the meal. It was quite sweet though. I'm not sure if I'd exactly come back due to the wait times but otherwise, the experience wasn't too bad.

At $24, it's definitely on the expensive side for a sandwich, but the quality of the ingredients and the freshness made it worth every penny. The flavors were fantastic, and I didn't mind paying the premium price after taking that first bite. Parking can be a little tricky.
