We've had multiple personal encounters with reps from this company, both at my son's home in Texas and here at our home in Gilbert. Even IF they were a good company (which multiple negative reviews seem to dispute), we would never use them because of their pushy sales tactics. Last night one showed up at our door at 7:47pm. We didn't answer. Today another came, who I spoke to through our RING. As has always been the case whenever we've spoken to them previously, when I asked why he was knocking and he said APTIV, I said we were absolutely not interested and asked him to leave. He did not leave and proceeded with their universal pitch (almost word for word scripted) that "we're in the neighborhood doing work for one of your neighbors and are contacting their neighbors to introduce our service". FIY, we verified with our son's neighbors in Texas, and neighbors on our street here in Gilbert that this statement is not factual. We've told sales reps we are absolutely not interested and they keep standing at our door making their pitch. On three separate occasions, including a few minutes ago, we've asked reps multiple times to leave our property and they just keep making their pitch. Today, I had to say that I was respectfully asking for the third and final time that the he leave our property. Then and only then did he depart. By the way... in order to maximize their door to door saturation, reps in our area are now riding two-wheel Segway style motorized devices so they can speed to more homes. At times like this when we're all (hopefully) being careful for ourselves AND considerate of the health of other people around us and not just our own, don't come knocking on our door without a mask expecting us to talk to a perfect stranger face to face. At times like these when scams are rampant and criminals are looking for ways in, there is also the concern for security of opening your door to strangers. How do you know if that "official badge" they're wearing wasn't printed and laminated at home. If you don't have a RING, Simply Safe, Nest or other video doorbell, get one. If you don't know or aren't expecting that person at your door, don't open it. There should be a city ordinance against this type of aggressive behavior. If there is one that we're not aware of, please leave the specifics on YELP If you work for APTIVE, do your self respect a favor and find a better company to work for. read more

I am very unhappy with Aptive Environment and will not use them again!! We were with them for about a year and a half. The first year they were great, came when we needed them, on time, and did a great job. The past 2 months is seems as they fell apart. We scheduled an appointment with them, my husband waited all day and they never showed up, and did not even call. My husband called and they apologized and we scheduled another appointment. Again, the same thing happened, my husband waited all day, they did not show up and never called. Again, we had to call them and this time another excuse. We called to speak to the manager, and it seemed that no one cared how we felt. I was furious and asked fo my money back for the quarter, and they said no, cause we used it once, no compensation at all for wasting our time not only once, but twice. I DO NOT RECOMMEND company at all. Rachel Tamayo read more

I was promised award-winning service when I signed up with Aptive Pest Control, but unfortunately, that was not my experience. The company failed to provide the services promised, yet continued billing me as an active customer. When I brought these concerns to management's attention, I was disappointed by the lack of accountability and the unwillingness to address the issue or make things right. A company's true commitment to customer service is shown by how it handles problems, and Aptive did not meet that standard. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company. I encourage others to carefully consider their options before signing up for their services. read more

After having found a few scorpions in the house I decided it was time to find someone to exterminate. Justin came to my door in the afternoon and told me about Aptive. and that there was a 50% sale. So I signed up for it. The very next day Jayson G. came at the time I was schedule and explained all that he was going to do. Very pleasant person. I live in Peoria, Az. And they're doing a lot of building around here. So it has stirred up a lot of the critters. I just want to say that I am very pleased with your service and Jayson G. He was here for quite some time spraying and using equipment. He sprayed inside and outside and I feel much better about the house now. Carol H. read more

My name is Erica S. I signed up with Aptive back in May, 2018. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to sell my house and am now living in a condo that already has pest control service. First off, in the few months I had Aptive, I saw more pests in my house than I did the prior 4 years I had lived there. Also, upon leaving, they are trying to charge me $210. They are calling this a "discount" that was applied at start of contract, but I also paid $19 for the first service and $89 for the next service. I'm not sure what this $210 is for?? It seems exorbitant in that no other pest control company charges anything close to this as an upfront charge. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Excellent pest control service. Whenever I have an issue with anything, they are here asap to do their best to get rid of scorpions, ants, mice, bugs, or whatever. Thank you, Aptive, for your service! Sounds like I'm thanking someone in the armed forces, but hey! When in the trenches with scorpions? Oh, yes...THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! I am totally satisfied with Aptive. What more can I say, other than "try them you will like them," even if they are ringing your doorbell to sell their services? These young men are so well trained that if you were to take the time to talk to them, you would find them to be pleasant, kind, understanding and knowledgeable. read more

I was impressed with the continuity/consistency between the salesman's explanation of services provided and the explanation given by the tech. Very punctual, which was also appreciated. Services appear to be comparable to the service I currently had (Blue Sky) but slightly less expensive when annualized. Time will tell in the coming year when I evaluate the number of callback/interior service requests. My name is Michael V in Gilbert, AZ and the tech was Matt Abbott. The route manager was Jonathon Dehlin, highly professional and while assertive and confident, most definitely not pushy. read more

Jason Baker performed my first pest control treatment on my new home. He was absolutley wonderful. I had never heard of Aptive but they have great reviews and a lot of my neighbors have signed up with them so I decided to give them a try; their pricing is very competitive. Jason Baker took the time to explain the entire process to me and how the chemicals work, I have been concerned about the chemicals affecting my two small dogs and I have been worried about scorpions even though I have not seen any. Jason Baker was very patient with and super friendly. Great company, great service! read more

This company lies to get in the door and then bullies you to continue their service. I was told that I would have full interior and exterior coverage but only had the tech come inside once before they left and only then because I walked around with them and made them come inside. I was also told that they would send out email and text messages prior to service with time and date scheduled but only would get a date with no time slot. I am doing work on the back yard and am unable to have service done back there but was told to get the front yard done to cover my contracted service time. read more

I have been with Aptive for a couple of years and I am very satisfied with their service. While all of their service people have always been nice and courteous, I want to give special recognition to Alonzo Wilson, who performed the service at my house today. Alonzo was extremely polite and personable. He asked appropriate questions about an ant problem that we pointed out to him, and he was careful to use the appropriate chemical since the ant colony was near our pool. It was a pleasure to meet Alonzo and I would be happy to have him perform out quarterly service all the time!!! read more

Ive been a customer for probably nearly 10 years and I have all 3 of my homes in the phoenix area setup on plans. Im about ready to cancel all 3. Not sure if you changed chemicals over the years or watered it down to save money but bugs are out of control and im tired of paying you for nothing. I have crickets running rampant which then brings out the scorpions in the area, i have earwigs, beetles, roaches, spiders. you name it... i have it. And then i try to do a reservice to get things under control and am told they will only spray 1 area during a reservice. this is ridiculous... read more

I am very disappointed and feel this should be reported. The same aggressive young man on his segway was going door to door again in my neighborhood today. He is still NOT wearing a mask!!! Stands right in the doorway. He keeps talking even when you tell him you are not interested. This is the 2nd time he has done this in the last month. I thought with having my mask on he would put one on. NOPE! So I just shut the door on him. This is a hazard sending out your reps into neighborhoods without masks going door to door like this. Please stop! read more

I've been a customer of Aptive Environment for almost a year now and I am very pleased with their service. They are very responsive if I need to have them come out between the regularly scheduled quarterly visits. Devon Duff was here yesterday and impressed me with his polite attitude, knowledge and professionalism. I have always been impressed by the technicians that have come to my home. Their service is competitively priced and I would not hesitate to recommend Aptive to anyone in need of an exterminator. read more

Nate was extremely thorough while performing the treatment to our property. He was very respectful and addressed us both by our names after we introduced ourselves. He continued to address us by our names throughout the visit indicating he thought enough of us to remember them. The little things like that are the difference between good service and exceptional service as far as I'm concerned. Nate was very pleasant and explained what he was doing and why. It was a pleasure meeting Nate today. read more

I'm a new customer to Aptive and even though we've only had the initial treatment, I'm satisfied with the service. The sales rep, Wesley, was very courteous and detailed in his explanations. I was happy that I could be scheduled so quickly, as it's that time of year in the desert. The tech, Waylon Knapp, was professional and informative. He answered my questions regarding the product and the service he was performing. He was also very patient and understanding dealing with my 3 very curious dogs. read more

Just had my first complete service by Deshan Aguiree! What a great professional; courtesy, informed and very polite. It was a good time to actually talk to a pest control individual who knew his business and did a great job of helping me understand the services he was providing me. So far I have been completely satisfied with the service that Aptive Environmental gives to its customers. I am very happy with the services, and the personnel, for this fine company. read more

If your problem is scorpions, this is NOT the company for you! Had them for the year contract, despite routine service and multiple calls expressing concerns I was still stung, they are still inside our home 1-3 scorpions (that we find) each month, even in winter! I have a 6 month baby learning to crawl and twice there was one just a few feet from him! I'm not okay with this service and frankly the last service tech was creepy and I was not comfortable with him. read more

Craig Russell performed the service today............as I was organizing closets - hardly knew he was here (except for hearing the spraying sound). I appreciated him leaving a card at the front door, as well as an email stating the service had been completed, signing his name and date. You guys are the best. Thanks for being so dependable. I'll be happy to give referrals as I hear friends discussing the need for a 'pest-be-gone' service . . . . . Diane E read more

We have been using Aptive for our pest control needs for several years now. We began service in California and transferred to the Phoenix Arizona office when we moved to Glendale in January. We have never had a rude tech. and Anthony in Arizona went above and beyond for us recently. Aptive even came out between services to spray our new home in Arizona a month after spraying our old home in California for no additional cost. Now that is service worth having! read more
