Late in the engagement, we discovered a significant error (my mistake), and they sprung into action to rectify it and did so in the most professional and fair way possible. We had a massive 8'x8' island that required the joining of two slabs. Their work was so flawless that we play a game with guests, asking them to find the seam -- it takes quite an effort. Todd Branson specializes in premium countertops, so it didn't seem like he could come down to our budget. But he just happens to have some single slabs left over from larger projects. We came to an agreement very quickly and his account manager, Michelle, was very easy to work with. Todd came to our home to personally to take measurements for cutting the slab. Todd arrived as expected right on time. He set up some very sensitive laser equipment to perform the task. He listened to our design preferences and made us aware of options such as increasing the edge height to hide the sub-countertop. Todd's measurements must have been very good because the installation only took a couple of hours. He got as much stone out of that slab as humanly possible and apologized for not having enough to make one of the seams disappear. It is the most beautiful countertop we have ever seen. And my wife and I are very house-y.

I have a congenital hole in my heart. I'm in Houston Medical Center to see my cardiologist since I've been experiencing heart palpitation, edema, shortness of breaths, and series of fainting. Cardiologist already told me that he couldn't surgically close this whole because it pumped blood out to lungs. He said lungs have too many blood vessels to hurt during the surgery. I thought I was doing full kitchen remodeling with The Home Depot. THD selected Top Priority. I didn't have any chance to select my own contractor. I regret my entire decision. Life is uncertain. It turned out to be a matter of life and death.

It may be because we also ordered the bathroom renovation, but either way, the value was excellent. Our kitchen was transformed into a modern and much more spacious space. The renovation contractors who worked on our project were not very fluent in English, but they were extremely considerate, communicated patiently through gestures, and never showed any frustration. The company as a whole has a warm and thoughtful culture, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind. Overall, this is a company I would highly recommend.

Grab bars everywhere, unobstructed walk-in showers, bathroom and bedroom doors wheelchair compliant and turn the family room into a downstairs bedroom. Maikai Cabinets helped us to keep the cost down and yet have quality materials, craftsmanship, and customer service. We're happy that the house is fully upgraded but sad we won't be working with Makai Cabinets for another 20-years to refresh the home. During my 2005 kitchen remodel I had a slide in oven installed in my kitchen island which had a solid surface top. In February 2023 I had to replace my slide in oven and discovered that the demensions of current slide-ins are different from 2005, therefore I needed my island counter top re-cut to current specifications. I called numerous counter top businesses to see if they could do this kind of job, with no success. However one business referred me to Robert Yue at Aloha Solid Surface Refinishing. He has done this kind of job before and felt confident he could help me. I felt his quote was reasonable and he was able to to do the job in a timely manner.
