Since the menu didn't indicate it was grilled or served hot, we expected a traditional cold sandwich. Instead, it arrived hot, which quickly wilted the lettuce to the point that we removed it. The ciabatta roll was also underwhelming--it was soft throughout and lacked the crisp, chewy crust that ciabatta is known for. The tater tots were just okay and seemed a bit overcooked or possibly freezer-burned. We were also surprised to see a charge for splitting a meal. We rarely ask to split dishes because my husband typically eats much more than I do, but it's the principle that bothered us. In today's dining environment, charging an extra fee simply to divide a plate feels outdated and unnecessarily nickel-and-diming customers.

The food was pretty much a mixed bag. The service was okay but not much to write home about. All in? We probably ought to have spun the dial again to see where else we could have landed, instead.

I ordered the Dynamite Tacos, and the flavor was excellent, but I was a little disappointed that each taco only had about four shrimp since I was expecting a bit more for the price. I also tried the fried pickle chips. They were crispy, but they were a little too salty for my taste. The biggest downside was the service. One of the servers accidentally bumped into one of my friends and then seemed upset with us, even though she had come up behind us without letting us know she was there. It made the experience feel a bit uncomfortable. Overall, the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, and with some improvements to the service and a few small adjustments to the food portions and seasoning, this could be an even better experience.

Visitors to Walla Walla should AVOID this restaurant in the evening, in my opinion. Take‑out feels…read morelike an OK option to me. In my personal experience, the vibe here changes noticeably from the day shift to the night shift. During the day, the atmosphere has felt family‑friendly, but at night the local crowd has felt aligned with an alt‑right vibe, and the bartender's style struck me as a kind of cosplay‑MMA persona. To me, that combination comes off as obnoxious and made me feel uneasy. I personally worry that some people there might not be above things like vandalism, theft, or even violence -- that's just my perception based on how the atmosphere felt to me. I'm not claiming anyone there committed those acts; the only documented issues from that night were my stolen keys and slashed bike tires, which I reported to police. I think this place is fine for monthly theme parties, and it feels family‑friendly during the day. But at night and on normal weekends, I personally feel much safer and have more fun at Beer Parlor or Public House. Food is fine, and most of the staff seems good in my experience. It says "bicycle parking," but I personally would not park my bicycle here after dark. My bike's tires were damaged on a previous visit, and I don't want that to happen again, so that's just my personal caution..
