On 2/26/2015 we encountered a huge list of problems. 1.Upon entering,we gave the host our names, and requested a booth. When it came time to be seated, we were sat at a table that could barely fit our appetizers, and drinks comfortably. We asked to be seated at a booth that was right across from our previous table, and in reply was told no, until I seated myself. 2. Once we ordered our drinks, it took him ten minutes to come back with our I.d. In the mean time we did not recieve our water, or our beverages. 3. After our I.ds were returned, it took another 7 minutes before I asked the waiter if our drinks were coming out or not, he replied with an excuse saying the bartender was busy.( let me remind u the restaurant was quiet) As we waited for our drinks, we noticed that the bar tender scratched his head, and then grabbed the fruit and placed it on the customers drinks without washing his hands. (At this point I was disgusted!) 4) when he finally came with our drinks, we did not receive the drinks we had ordered. We explained to the waiter, the order was wrong, and that we did not order the drinks that were on the table. He then had another excuse, saying he "was on thin ice with his boss, and that if he took the drinks back it would be on him." ( very unprofessional) THIS WAS TWENTY FIVE MINUTES IN!!! STILL NO WATER, and NO BEVERAGES!! 6) he then threw two drink holders down, placed the drinks that were not the ones we ordered and said "what do you guys want" in a low inappropriate tone. 7) I was not about to pay sixty dollars for such horrible service, I told him I was going else where, and then was blocked from the door way, and was told we had to pay for the drinks before we left. DRINKS WE DIDNT ORDER!!!!! I was in complete shock!! the service was absolutelt HORRIBLE!! We will not be returning, let alone recommend this restaurant to anyone!! If u want great service and great food, go to the brick, they had great service, and had our waters on our table as soon as we sat down! Applebee's get it together!! read more

Three of us stopped in here for dinner. The wait staff was okay but seldom checked on us plus one gal said she'd be right back to help us with payment but never returned. The dinner salad was fine, but the tortilla soup was unusual plus had way too much pepper. My biggest disappointment happened as we attempted to pay our bill. I'd mentioned we were on separate tickets, but my friend had to sort out the items herself. As I attempted to pay, the tip screen popped up with 20% being the default option. To me, a 20% tip requires good service not mediocre, so I adjusted it down to 15%. The payment wouldn't go through. Second try, same result. Amazingly when the tip was left at 20%, the payment goes through. This strikes me as being fraudulent. As we left I asked to speak to a manager who was apparently there even though he couldn't locate her. I shared my concern and thoughts with the young man who greeted us but was left feeling like it would go no further. First and last visit there.i suggest you dine elsewhere. read more

Absolutely horrible , ordered through Grub Hub at the hotel down the street , ordered a double cheese burger and got a single , ordered a salad with blue cheese dressing , no dressing with order , ordered the riblets with bar b q sauce , hardly any sauce , 5 packets of hand wipes placed on top of meat , both the burger ribs and fries were at room temperature like they had been sitting for a while , asked for utensils and napkins , got neither , by far the worst experience ever . I would never use Grub Hub or order from Applebees again even if it was free, oh and it took almost an hour and I was less then a half a mile away read more

I mean it's a overhyped chain restaurant to put it best. Some things are a good deal I think (2 for $22) but most things are overpriced. Every time my fiancé gets the check he always complains on how we could've gone somewhere better for the price, and he's right. We've only had one bad experience with a waitress but I don't think she works there anymore. There take out is pretty handy sometimes. Also they won't serve you alcohol if you have a horizontal license, even if your 21+. So if you have one and want to go drinking don't go there. The inside is clean and we've never had more than 1 bad experience. Just overpriced. read more

Our waiter, who's name is Trevor, acted inexcusably. Not only did he yell at us when we asked for clarification about a free appetizer, but he also continued to bully us the next time we came in. On our first visit to apple Bee's, Trevor yelled at us that he was too busy to sort our checks and stormed off. We all received our checks, paid, and left. The next time we came in, Trevor pointed at us and ran into the back. The manager approached us & told us that the last time we were in, Trever said that we never paid for one of our appetizers. WE NEVER RECEIVED SAID CHECK. We are not the kind of people to dine and dash. During our entire second visit we were treated rudely by the entire staff and forced to pay for a check we never received. I firmly believe that Walla Walla Apple Bee's treats young customers with disrespect and has terrible customer service. read more

The food is ok. I'm never happy with the franchise but I went here for a family gathering for a birthday. I ordered the steak salad with the steak med rare. It was well done. The drinks were not that good. The waitress was friendly. Good friendly staff. Other than that not impressed with Applebee's and it's not just Walla Walla. read more

I'm a waitress myself and am extremely understanding but when you pour someone's water all over the table and it soaks me and you say you're going to bring me a towel do it don't make me not want to enjoy my meal because my lap is soaked. read more

This business is what a restaurant should be, the staff is friendly, even when arriving very late at night, and there is always someone to greet you at the door. They put on a great free meal for the vets each year and the wait staff are very attentive. Pros: The wait staff are always close by so you are never left looking for the check, or waitng for a refill. The food is good, and the atmosphere is lively. The decor is nice but not over done. Cons: The tv's are a little distracting for people in the booths because they are in eyesight but not at any angle for viewing unless you are at the bar portion. read more

So, I went back to Applebee's because a friend said the service was better. They lied. After they took our order, we sat there, waiting. Our appetizer got to our table before our drinks, we had to ask for water and silverware. My food was barely warm. When my friend asked for a drink refill, she got it 15 minutes after she was done eating and we were waiting on the cheek. Don't waste your money going here, it's not worth it. read more

Terrible service! I have to say whoever is the manager is they better wake up and see what their employees are doing to this restaurant. The hosts are mean, rude, and DO NOT know how to host! Although the restaurant was almost empty (mid afternoon), the service was horribly slow. The dinner salad was good when it finally arrived. It took one hour from time meal was ordered for the entree to arrive. The manager did stop at our table and apologized, and explained he was having problems in the kitchen. The manager also gave us our meal on the house. My wife and I will give Applebee's another try in the future, hoping that this experience was just a fluke. read more

10/19/2019 I had called ahead of time for a reservation since I was bring in medium group. The manger wrote it down and told me we dont need a reservation. 10/20/2019 after my wedding we showed up to fine the hostess confused and to where to seat us. I had told her I called yesterday to make a reservation because it was a group. It took 15-30 mins to seat us and not everyone could sit at the table some to have had to sit at a booth..every disappointed. The wait staff was very horrible never checked on us. I had to call them over for refills. Everything we order was cold. Upon leaving is when the wait staff was interacting with us. Very poor service for groups. read more

Wait staff tried hard to provide good service. Ordered two steaks with normal sides dishes. Ordered my steak medium and when I cut into it, my plate filled with blood. It was less done than my wife's who ordered her steak rare. I asked for it to be taken back to the kitchen and cooked a little more. By the time it came back, I had completed eating my baked potato and vegetable, along with my appetizer. The steak had been cooked so well done that it was no longer eatable. Assumed it was punishment by the kitchen staff--no other explanation can be made. Mentioned to staff and no explanation made or attempt to recify. Second poor experience in the last three trips to local Applebee's Restaurant in Walla Walla. I guess it is time to find another family restaurant. read more

I ordered a rare steak and they brought me a very well done one, when I said that it wasnt what I ordered; the person who brought it out said "I would need management to come and deal with it, which may take 30 minutes." I just came in for a bite to eat. I work in hospitality, I won't be recommending this restaurant to any of my hotel guests. read more

Well they advertised a free meal on Veterans day and I wore a baseball cap saying Vietnam Veteran and they still charged me, so guess be careful on their advertising, they don't always do what they say they will. I then ordered the ribs, which were ok, nothing special and try to get butter for your mashed potatoes, good luck with that, another customer brought it to me when they brought the butter out they took it to him and he said you know, he has been asking for butter and this should go to him. I will be warning people in the Walla Walla area and Milton Freewater plus all the vets at the Walla Walla VA, Maybe I did not deserve what was advertised or maybe they just don't like Veterans, whatever the problem is, I won't be burning my tires up to go back. read more

I LOVE Applebees! My favorite is their honey bbq'd chicken wings dipped in Ranch (thank's Ray Mertens)! They also let kids get their meals free when they turn in a colored picture that's already on the kid's menu. Pretty cool! read more

I hate Applebees. We went a few years ago, and had lousy experience. Vowed never to return. Last week-end, we had out of town guests, that wanted to take us. We were a party of 6. The male server was beyond rude. He insulted everyone. We ordered the 2 for $25.00 for all of us. The other couples ordered the spinach/artiichoke as a starter. We got a ceaser salad. Ok. The food was ok. The male server was horrid. We did not engage him in conversion. We were a family having fun. This idiot was put out by us asking for water. This nut decided he could insult us. Our host is a cancer survivor. We, as a family like to make jokes. We Do NOT like a waiter telling him he should have died and never come back. Believe me........we won't. read more

Our cast goes here a lot around 9pm. I love the brew house chicken and often get cravings for it. I've also had the honey chicken and mac and cheese. It was okay. The chicken added a little more sweetness than I liked. Staff have always been good to us. Drinks sometimes take a little longer, but they gather everything and bring it at once, unless a cocktail is taking a little longer. They always accommodate us even though we often get the reservation number wrong (cast of 40 and people say they are coming and never do). There was only one occasion that the host got frustrated by our numbers being off, but that was out of my control. read more

A friend and I eat at this store at least once a week and have always had good service although they seem to have a rapid turnover in wait staff. I recognize new employees have to be trained, so it pays to be patient. Recently, however, the manager refused to accept my 10% senior discount card on the 2 for $20 menu although it has always been honored in the past on this menu. I was told that the reason was that the food was already discounted. THAT IS NOT TRUE, as the items appear on the regular menu, therefore they are regular prices. I expect to receive my discount unless I present a coupon or such. I understand items cannot be subject to 2 discounts. If I am refused my entitled discount in the future my friend and I will certainly eat less frequently at this store. read more

We went during there happy hour, in which appetizers are half off, which was awesome! We ordered the chicken wonton tacos and buffalo wings. Both tasted great. I also ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and it was too over cooked, to the point that it was a little charred on the outside. The waitress was very kind, she was attentive to us, and we were pleased with the service. This used to be a great restaurant when it first opened in late 2005 but sadly sometime around 2010 or so the quality of the food and service started to decline and the servers are not as efficient, attentive or friendly as they used to be and they seem to spend more time in the bar area talking among each other rather than doing their jobs, there were times I've had to get out of my seat just to tell a server I've needed a refill. read more
