The food was great! We came with friends and who said it's really good. My son got a BLT, my husband got a skillet with chorizo and so did my kids. My bacon cheeseburger was ok. When entering we were greeted by such a sweet woman. Our server was a nice young man. The owner gave my daughter some extra pancakes with a whipped cream smiley face. I will def be back and I will share with my friends.

They had amazing food great service and overall a good experience with a nice restaurant and I totally recommend here and it has great food

Food - was very bland and not flavorful. Had to salt and pepper it in order to eat it. The bacon was inconsistent. First piece was great the rest tasted as if it had been set out buffet style for a while. Hash browns were frozen. Overall... eh. Service - decent. Very nice staff. Very young staff. (A contradiction to be sure). Ambiance - was decent. Looks like they put in work to make it appealing to all ages. Overall - was over priced for the quality and I will more than likely never come back :(

Bacon cheeseburger in a restaurant, known for their breakfasts and this is all the bacon on a bacon cheeseburger?!

We've dined here many times, usually for breakfast, which is pretty good. We decided to go for lunch, finding the restaurant pretty empty. Our server was nice, but the service was the worst we've ever had there. She never came back to check on us until she dropped off the check, but if she had, we could have let her know that the bacon cheeseburger my hubby ordered, that had a ridiculously small piece of bacon, was undercooked. She never asked if we wanted refills of our drinks, even with the empty glasses sitting on the edge of the table. We had to ask for them. Even though there was a significant amount of food on my plate, yet she didn't ask if a to go container was needed. She was not great at customer service.

YUM! Wow this was a great find! This was our first visit - we were seated right away - all of the staff couldn't have been nicer. So many options to chose from but went with an easy veggie omelet - it was SO good and plenty - I actually had for the next 2 meals! Partner had eggs and hash that came with pancakes - SO good! This is laid back place that is very clean, efficient and excellent - I am glad we came by and will definitely partonize often.

I would recommend the berry French toast, it was delicious! The menu had a ton of great options. It was very crowded when we went in but the server was still very attentive.

Baked apple pancake

We've been here a few times and have always been satisfied. This past visit my wife ordered their baked apple pancake. It was HUGE and very tasty. If it interests you, make sure you call ahead and order it as they suggest. It takes 45 minutes or so to bake. The staff is always pleasant. The restaurant itself can use a bit of an update. But it is fine otherwise.

Sunday breakfast at Apple Villa quaint diner with lots of different Tiffany style lamps throughout. It was our first time here, we used a groupon for decided to give it a try. The house coffee was delicious and I didn't know it was organic until the bill listed it was. They have loads of different pancake options and specials. They are only open for breakfast and lunch and can host private parties in their party room. Service was very good. Our table wasn't the cleanest it was slightly sticky and my knife was not clean. I asked waiter for other knife and she was great apologetic and quick. We had the chorizo no skillet skillet and breakfast flatbread. The food was great, prices are affordable, and made fresh. Definitely a place to check out.

The menu looks like it had something for everyone. Next time I go I really want to try the breakfast pizza. I really enjoyed the pancakes. They were fluffy with a lil crunch from the cinnamon and with the cream cheese icing I didn't even need syrup. Yum

Per the restaurant this was still warm and didn't require to be made over.

Good food and service but poor air ventilation. When they burn toast or cook the entire restaurant stinks.

Out here in deepest Suburbia, sometimes things present a vaguely Disneyesque artifice, where, if…read morethe fantasy world was more advanced, "Quotation Marks" would appear magically in the air around buildings (and, alas, people) indicating irony should be applied as a mitigating factor. This is not to imply in any way those places (or people) are therefore any less in quality or to be avoided. But I digress... I've driven past the "Paris Bistro" here, since it was established, and, unfairly thought "yeah, right". Why? Route 59 is a 1000% American Commerce Zone, rife with every franchise on the docket, and conformity is securely on the menu. And rightly so. Folks out here may have had their success, but they were raised in front of American TV, and their consumer habits developed accordingly, especially with regard to cuisine and eating habits. There are, of course, bona fide Ethnics in the general area, but those are germane to the Communities in residence. (Some FAB Chinese, Indian and Mexican places-q.v.) I am not aware of a burgeoning French settlement anywhere nearby. Around here "Cooper's Hawk" passes for "fine dining", and if you've ever fine-dined, you'll know Cooper's Hawk may parlay a decent feed, but it ain't Alinea, Bubba. In the far Western and Southwestern Chicago 'burbs, folks' Culinary tastes are as conservative as their politics. So whither "Paris Bistro"? It's a handsome suburban building with inviting signage. When you walk in, you pass a bar having an impressive array of boozes. Keep going west past the bar and you're in a room mimicking a rural setting, if a rural setting had curved leather banquettes. There's a more traditional dining room on the other side of the bar, but I didn't go in there. It was daytime, and bright, but when daylight ebbs, I'll bet both rooms are romantic. The service is reserved and accommodating-you're not going to find a wisecracking "Alice" on the staff. The menu actually is pretty accurate as a French Bistro in the USA. Lots of Français on it (in the titles), but the descriptions are all clear English. You don't have translation to fear. The menu is extensive, and features many traditional "Bistro" faves, along with select "American" choices. I was in for Brunch. Disregarding conformity, I ordered the Escargot for Hors D'oeuvre, not that I wanted to, but because I am pathologically incapable of NOT ordering Escargot if they are on the menu before me. They were yum, but I wish there was a softer bread available for sopping the buttery-garlic goodness remaining after the morsels are consumed. As "they" say, a French Chef is judged by their prowess in cooking a simple Omelette, so that's where I went. "Jambon et Gruyere" to be exact. It wasn't a large beast, but it was tasty, light, and properly prepared. No sign of the Rugby-Ball pancake-batter-enhanced behemoth omelettes you'll find in common Coffee shops. Accompanying was a (very) small salad of nice composition, with just enough fruity vinaigrette to satisfy. Also on the plate were tasty and ultra-crispy "shoestring fries". I'm not a slave to potatoes with breakfast. but these were damned good. The problem at hand (so to speak) was the transport from plate to mouth, as they were very thin and very crisp. Both fork and spoon were inefficient. I thought of using the spoon to crush them, thus rendering spoon a contender to preserve my dining decorum. In the end, I bit the bullet and just picked them up in hand, decorum be damned. I wish I had a bucket of these for movie-watching snacks at home. The coffee was a conundrum. It arrived with a strongish smell, like it was burnt and past its prime, but lacked the acrid flavor such as found in a forlorn brew. It was actually a fine, bold, cup of VERY dark roast. It's a nice, sophisticated (but not snooty) resto, dignified but not stuffy. If you need to have a business breakfast/brunch, this is a perfect place. Also, if you're not in the mood for the hustle and bustle of a noisy coffee shoppe. Prices a bit higher than you might expect, but... I quite enjoyed both the bread and circuses here, and while I never mistook myself from being anywhere else than in Naperville (not Paris), I caught the vibe, and it was nice. I am officially pissed at myself for not stopping here sooner. No "quotation marks" for this place. Throwing 4 stars (for now), and I'll be back here very soon for dinner.

That room is usually where they sit families. It was not our choice and we voiced our opinion to sit in the dining room. The staff immediately switched everything to the warm and inviting dining room. The food provided was tasty from the mini sandwiches to the tartines to the sweet treats. I have to say there was an inconsistency with sizing. Some were generous and some were lacking. They could've done a better job with consistency so we all got the same sizes. The tea service was very cute but you were only able to choose a couple teas. I've been to other teas at Suzette's and Pinecone Cottage where the tea is unlimited, as well as they ask if you would like another tasting of something that you really liked. I felt for the money this tea service was limited as well as not consistent. It was a great way to spend time with my Pilates friends, though. I could see myself doing this again if there were improvements made and they were more generous by offering an additional taste.

On my visit here, I tried a different set of items from my Schaumburg visit to test the consistency of quality across different flavor profiles and dessert types, and it delivered perfectly. The mango gelato here is incredible -- with probably the strongest mango flavor I've ever had in a gelato. The Lotus was an elevated version of one of my favorite biscuits. The gelato is incredible, creamy and flavorful -- and something I'd happily serve with most any dessert. The waffle was flavorful as usual which paired perfectly with the chocolate mix. I also wanted to try My Passion to get a mix of different fruits -- as I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh the fruit was at the other location. This was equally as great, with fruit presented at the perfect ripeness. Extra kudos to the kiwi which wasn't sour at all, and in fact was one of the first items to be finished completely. The pineapple was also super juicy, sweet, and flavorful. I wish we'd gotten more eclairs, as the filling was super delicious. Maybe the weakest item in this dish was the brownie, which was only good -- while everything else we'd tried was great to amazing. Overall, worth a special trip for any dessert lover. This business consistently delivers top notch dishes at very reasonable prices.

So...not sure the food is good. I just happen to think the attitude is a little worse. Came with a group and someone in our party ordered the French Onion Soup and then a Croque Monsieur. No one else in our group ordered a starter. What's weird is for some reason they decided to course the soup with everyone's mains. Normal restaurants, including like....your local suburban Chile's, know not to do that but this place thought that was normal. So already, my friend is a course behind everyone because they didn't serve his starter first. What's worse is when he finishes his soup...he doesn't get his main. We actually FINISH our mains and he still hasn't gotten his. He makes a comment VERY NICELY to our waitress like hey! Just wanted to check on my meal! She responds, "all our meals are timed perfectly." What!! My buddy goes, "Okay...I've just been waiting for 15/20 minutes so I think I'm ready for my sandwich." She responds, "okay....let me alert the kitchen." Wait? You didn't even tell them he needed his meal?? We wait another 15 minutes. We flag the waitress again and ask where his meal is and she responds "everything is made to order so the kitchen needs some time." Okay. This is a Croque Monsieur. Are you....rising bread right now? What is happening? So I get frustrated and jump into this and say, "Ya but we've been waiting over 30 minutes for his main. We've all finished so now you're asking my friend to eat alone." She responds, "everything is served hot so what is the problem??" !! I get annoyed because up until this moment, we've been pretty nice. But this waitress not acknowledging any issue or trying to make it better and talking back to us like this is weird. So I just say, "Bring a manager over." Well...it didn't matter. This lady learned her attitude from somewhere and it was probably from the manager. The manager immediately is on the offense like, "you ordered a soup and we wanted you to have the soup hot. And we want your next meal to be hot. We make everything fresh and we clean our dishes in between." The heck? All we want is for my friend to be able to eat his main. So I say, now rudely, "just bring the food. We have waited 30 minutes now. Everyone is done with their meal. If you haven't made it, cancel the order and we'll go somewhere else." She responds, "we usually serve the starter first. If you didn't like that, then don't order a starter." SERIOUSLY!? What is happening!? I think about telling her that USUALLY even if only 1 person has ordered a starter, that gets served first before EVERYONE gets their mains TOGETHER. Instead I say, "listen, cancel the order or give us the food but we aren't waiting any longer." And she goes, "we can't cancel it. The kitchen has been working on it." So I say "this better be home baked bread because they've been working on it for 45 minutes by now." IT STILL takes another 5 minutes to get this meal. It is cold. It is an average Croque Monsieur. And they probably all spit in it. At the very end, the waitress comes over and says, "I see what you mean and there were coursing issues but we take pride in our food and we weren't going to degrade that so we could serve you faster." This place literally lives up to a Parisian stereotype, I guess.

My Mom and I celebrate this tradition yearly. And usually, they all are very similar. Think fancy hotels: the ritz, the intercontinental, the Drake...and even though Mom and I love them, the pastries every year are pretty much the same. Cold stale little sandwiches, cold refrigerated desserts, one teapot at the table, snobby waiters, etc etc. It is nice and familiar, we sort of have lowered our expectations over the years. We just pick a hotel and go. So when we reserved a new place - not a hotel!!, we were not sure what to expect. We were completely blown away. Throughout the whole experience, very nice and kind servers brought around refills of 3 types of teas. We were never running low on tea. All of the pastries were made either right then or that morning. I went to the bathroom and walked by a large pan of cranberry scones that came out of the oven and felt the warmth. The pumpkin bisque and delicious, warm quiche was to die for! The desserts at the end with the sorbet were incredible. We had never had a tea with warm food before. The hostess as well as all waiters and waitresses were friendly. There was a gentle piano playing Christmas music in the background. I also loved our cushioned seats. The temperature of the room was so comfortable. And the best part - they came around with extras of their pastries and snacks! We had never been to a tea where they passed out extras. The silverware and plates were also gorgeous - we didn't feel rushed and I loved that there wasn't some heavy metal tiered serving tray that other teas use. It also is casual - Mom was in jeans, some people were dressed up and others weren't. It felt like a special experience. We couldn't believe how amazing it was from start to finish. We already booked for 2026. For the cost ($50), you are getting an exceptional Christmas tea. Usually we pay double that per person as well for a less than mediocre tea experience.
